Abstract

AbstractThis research started from the concerns of sociology teachers regarding the low skills of students? critical thinking. The research aims to know if sociology learning activities through discovery learning assisted with mind map done by teachers can improve critical thinking skills of class X IPS 2 students of SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR), referring to Kurt Lewin?s approach in which the action research is viewed as a cycle of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted collaboratively by the researcher and the teachers of sociology subject in three cycles, in which each cycle comprises of two times action. The result showed that on the first cycle, the students? critical thinking skills were on relatively medium achievement category with a mean score of 65,57; the second cycle indicates a higher achievement category at mean score 73,78, and on the third cycle the result improved to be relatively very high achievement category with mean score 81,57. It is concluded that there is an improvement in students? critical thinking skills through discovery learning assisted with mind map in sociology learning in class X IPS 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak.  Keywords: Critical Thinking Skills, Discovery Learning, Mind Map, Sociology Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the interest of researcher to examine the management of production in the Kijang Berantai gallery. The purpose of this research was to describe the production management of Kijang Berantai gallery. The method used in this research was descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The approach used in this research was the sociology approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interview and documentation techniques while the data collection tools used in this research were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, camera and notebook. Testing the validity of the data of this research used source triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques in this research were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicated that one of the Kijang Berantai gallery programs was to hold dance and music performances performed by implementing art production management so the art performances run smoothly and effectively. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to determine the differences of student learning outcomes in class that applies PBL learning models and class that applies conventional methods or models in class XI IPS MAN 1 Pontianak. The method used in this research is nonequivalent control group design with quasi-experimental research methods (Quasi Experiment). The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The result of class that used PBL model is 84.45 and the control class using conventional method obtained an average value of 78.20. Based on the analysis data of those tests, the results show that there are differences of student learning outcomes in class using PBL learning model in Geography Subject especially natural disaster mitigation material using conventional method. This is proven by the statistical analysis of the Independent Sample T-Test in the SPSS 16 program which obtained the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001. So, Ho is rejected or Ha is accepted, because the value of Sig. t-test (2-tailed) that is 0.001 <0.05 which means that there are differences of student learning outcomes in class using PBL model in Geography Subject especially natural disaster mitigation material using conventional method. Keywords : Problem Based Learning model, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

 AbstractThis research aimed to know the water quality and zooplankton diversity in Sungai Ambawang Kalimantan Barat and applied Its result in a flash flipbook as an instructional medium  in the sub material of Water Pollution at 10th grade of Senior High School students. Sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling in which to decide the location of zooplankton sampling, residential, wood industry, and sago vegetation, in Sungai Ambawang. The physical parameter observed were temperature, turbidity, and velocity of water flow. The average of water temperature was  29oC, turbidity in each station in sequence were 23, 22,83, dan 23,83 cm, and velocity of water flow in each station in sequence were 0,16, 0,30, and 0,12 m/s. The chemical parameter were observed are Power of Hydrogen (pH) and Dissolved Oxygen (DO), pH in each station in sequence were 3,36, 3,66 and 3,47, and DO in each station in sequence were 6, 6,10, and 6,4. The Dominance Index of zooplankton in each station in sequence were 0,150, 0,122, and 0,133. The result of dominance index revealed that river in Sungai Ambawang was good. The result was implemented in flash flipbook as an instructional medium in the sub material of Water Pollution. The validity result of flash flipbook by material experts was 3,35 and media experts was 3,50. From the validity result Flash flipbook was valid to be used as an instructional medium in the Sub M֯aterial of Water Pollution at 10th grade of Senior High School students. Keywords: Zooplankton, Dominance Index, Sungai Ambawang, Sub Material of Water Pollution.

Abstract

AbstrakThis study aims to determine the level of student satisfaction with lecturing services at the FKIP UNTAN Pontianak Economic Education Study Program. The form of this research is using descriptive method. The technique used is the distribution of questionnaires to customers (students) as research samples and tracking documentation. Based on data analysis Student responses about reliability services 35.0% are in accordance with 5.0% very appropriate, there are 40.0% less appropriate, responsiveness can be said to be very low there are 52.0% of respondents that responsiveness is less appropriate, 8.0% is not appropriate. While only 18.0% are appropriate. Assurance can be said to be 61.0% that the elements of Guarantee are appropriate only 1.0% are not appropriate and 15.0% are not appropriate, empathy can be said to be still lacking and needs to be improved because 63.0% of respondents based on quality based on empathy are not suitable and another 19.0% are not appropriate. While the other 20.0% are suitable and 8.0% are very suitable. Physical evidence can be said to be lacking this can be seen that the majority of respondents (53%) in the form of physical evidence are less appropriate. Keywords: Assurance, Empathy, Reliability, Responsiveness, Service Quality

Abstract

AbstractThis study was to analyze the effect of the use of Mind Mapping on Thematic Learning Outcomes of Grade V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah 3 Pontianak students and analyze how high the effect of Mind Mapping on Thematic Learning Outcomes of Grade V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Pontianak students. The research method used is an experimental method in quasi-experimental design forms, with nonequivalent control group experimental design. The sample selection uses a purposive sampling technique. Based on statistical calculations the average results of the final test of the experimental class 70.67 and the average final test results of the control class 65.24 obtained of 2.922 and  (α = 5% and dk 41 + 39 - 2 = 78) equal to 1,677, because t_ (count) (2,922)>  (1,677), then Ha is accepted. From the calculation of the effect size (ES), ES 0.46 (medium criteria) was obtained. This means that the use of Mind Mapping has a moderate effect on the thematic learning outcomes of Grade V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Pontianak students. Keywords: Effect, Learning Outcomes, Mind Mapping, Thematic Learning.

AbstractThis willingness to research to dig back Arts Otar-Otar, and to explore the process of historical development of the Otar-Otar became performance art, due to lack of documentation against Otar-Otar. The purpose of this research is to 1. Describe the history of performance art silat Otar-Otar 1992-2015 in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. 2. Describe the development of a form of martial arts performing arts specialties Otar-Otar in Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. 3. Describe the draft implementation from performing arts Otar-Otar of Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. The theory used in this research analysis is a theory about the dance, dance history, cultural anthropology, traditional dance, pencak silat, performing arts. This research using the method of analysis of history. This form of research is qualitative. The research approach using the approach of etnokoreologi. The data source in this research in the form of the results of the interview against the speaker related to and find out about the development historical of the performing arts Otar-Otar In Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview and documentation. Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis is "Analysis of Educational Facilities and Infrastructure on Accounting Skills Program at The SMK Negeri 1 Sanggau Regency”. The purposes of this research are first is to determine the availability of educational facilities and infrastructure on the Accounting Skills Program. Second is to study the feasibility of educational facilities and infrastructure in the Accounting Skills Program.The research method was used is descriptive qualitative study. The data sources of this research were the principal, the facilities and infrastructure deputy, the administrator of accounting laboratory and the library's manager.Data collected of this study were obtained from observations, interviews and documentation of educational facilities and infrastructure at SMK Negeri 1 Sanggau which were include furniture, educational media, educational equipment and other equipment.The data of facilities and infrastructure which are obtained then compared with the standards in Permendikbud No. 34 of 2018 concerning Facilities and Infrastructure Standards for Vocational High Schools / Madrasah Aliyah Vocational Schools (SMK / MAK).The results study showed that the availability of educational infrastructure at SMK 1 Sanggau was adequate, but if looked deeper there were several aspects for the facilities that were not yet feasible.The feasibility of educational infrasructure at SMK 1 sanggauSanggau in terms of the minimum broad aspects based on the Permendikbud No. 34 of 2018, there were 5 infrastructures that were suitable to be used and 2 infrastructures which were not yet suitable to be used. Keywords: Facilities and Infrastructure of Accounting Education

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to implement learning and improve poetry writing skills using image media in class III of state Elementary School 35 Sepandan Sambas District. The method used in this research is a descriptive method. This form of research is class action research with 3 cycles of treatment with stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Results that want to be achieved is a valid data, accurate, accountable about the improvement of poetry writing skills using image media in class III of state Elementary School 35 Sepandan Sambas District that will be presented in the form of Data of research results. The research Setting is conducted in grade III of SD Negri 35 Sepandan Sambas District that will be presented in the form of Data of research results. The research Setting is conducted in grade III of SD Negri 35 Sepandan Sambas District. The results of his research are as follows: Increased teacher's ability to carry out cycle I study obtained on average 2.84, cycle II gained an average of 2.96, and cycle III was obtained on average 3.65. Increased student writing skills on the I cycle gained an average of 40.74, cycle II gained an average of 55.55, and cycle III gained an average of 76.29. Keywords: Enhancement, Media images, Poetry writing skills

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study are to:  (1) describe that the learning media of clipping is able to raises the values of togetherness which can be perceived by the students; (2) describe that the learning media of clipping is able to improve the sense of togetherness between the students within their society; (3) describe several factors that is related to the learning media of clipping in Civic Education. The method used for this research was descriptive method in form of a Survey Studies. The study was conducted to the third grade students of SDN 18 Sungai Kakap. The data for this researh was collected through direct observation, direct communication, indirect communication, and documentary technique. The data collection tools used were interview questionnaire guide, checklist, survey notes, and written notes. The collected data were analysed by using chi-square formula. The results of the study shows that rate of 24.08 are obtained from the student’s answer sheet, meaning that the purpose of learning media of clipping are containing the values of togetherness which can be perceived by the students in learning of civic education. Learning media of clipping is able to improve the sense of togetherness between the students within their society, with the result of 21.12. The factors that are related to the purpose of the medium results the rate of 24.44. The purpose of the learning media of clipping has corresponded to the related lessons, with the result of 17.68.Keywords: Learning Media, The Medium of Clipping, Civic Education
