Abstract

AbstractThis research entitled case study about students who are difficult to control emotion in class VIII SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak.The general problem in this research is how to help learners who are difficult to control emotion in class VIII SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak. While the objective is to obtain an objective picture of the characteristics, factors causing, and appropriate alternative assistance to be used in overcoming the problems of students who are difficult to control emotions in class VIII SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak. The approach used in this research is qualitative by using descriptive method and the form of research is case study. There are two case subjects in this study, the alternative aid given to the first subject is in the form of treatment using conceptual modeling techniques so that the behavioral of the subject can shape new behavioral better. While alternative assistance is given to the second, the case subject is treatment by using directive techniques in the RET counseling model so that case subjects can change their irrational mindset into a rational mindset. Keywords: Difficult to Control Emotions, Behavioral Counseling, RET Counseling

Abstract

 AbstractThis research background is motivated by the desire to find a character from the novel title Dian yang Tak Berkunjung Padam by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana. The general problem in this research is "How does the main character in Dian yang Tak Kunjung Padam novel by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana?. The general problem is limited by two sub-problems, that are personality and emotion of main character in the Dian yang Tak Berkunjung Padam novel by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana. The purpose of this study is to describe two sub-problems, while this research is useful for researchers to increase knowledge and insight in analyzing the literary works, this research also can be used by teachers and students as a media of learning as well as materials for comparison. This theory used in this study relates to novels, characters, personality and emotions. This research uses descriptive method, qualitative resecrh form, and using behavioristic psychology approach. The source of research data is Dian yang Tak Kunjung Padam novel by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana. The data collecting of this research is documentary study technique. The data in this study are quotations of words, phrases, sentences containing the personality of the main character and the emotion of the main character.  Key words: personality, emotion, psychology, novel

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is the function of srakalan music at wedding reception event at Sungai Raya Village Sungai Raya District of Bengkayang Regency. The reason researchers choose art Srakalan in Sungai Raya Village because the function of srakalan music as a means of da'wah and entertainment. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative research form. The approach used is the ethnographic approach.The results of research are: (1) music function Srakalan is as a means of entertainment and religious. (2) Srakalan music in Sungai Raya Village originated from the 70s until now and still maintained its existence. (3) this research can be implemented to school on cultural arts subjects or in extracurricular activities in school. Given the function of music Srakalan play an important role in the wedding reception is expected art of music Srakalan no future generation.Keywords: use, music, srakalan, wedding reception.

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is "How  is The effect of Quantum Teaching Approach on Students’ Learning Outcome in Thematic of 5th Grade Students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Pontianak Selatan?".  This research uses Pre-Experimental Research Design, the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The researcher took the samples by using purposive sampling, so that the sample of this research was 34 students in 5th Grade D. The technique used in data collection was measurement with data collection tools in the form of multiple choice tests. Based on the results of the research, mean values of pre-test and post-test were 69.32 and 77.15. After t test was obtained tcount 7.97 while t table with db = 34-1 = 33 and significant level (α) = 5% was 2.042, which means 7.97 ≥ 2.042, there were tcount> ttable significantly different and Ha was accepted. From the results of the calculation of the effect size, obtained of 0.56 with the criteria being. In conclusions, the quantum teaching approach contributes 50% or 0.5 to thematic learning 5th Grade Students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Pontianak Selatan. Keywords: Effect, Quantum Teaching Approach,Students’ Learning Outcome             InThe Thematic Lesson.

Abstract

AbstractThis research entitled Enhancement of Learning Activity of Citizenship Education with Cooperative Model of Snowball Throwing Technique on 4th Grade Student of State Elementary School 16 Rasau Jaya. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of cooperative model of Snowball Throwing technique to improve the learning activity of Civics in class IV public elementary school 16 Rasau Jaya . The method used in this research is descriptive with the form of classroom action research assessment, observation data collection techniques with data collection tool in the form of observation sheet. Implemented in 3 cycles, each cycle there is an increase in the ability of teachers in learning melakasanakan on the first cycle of 2.01, cycle II to 3.01, and cycle III 3.9. Increased physical activity of cycle I was 58,33%, cycle II to 79,16%, and cycle III 95,83%. The mental activity of cycle I is 56,25%, cycle II becomes 77,67%, and cycle III 92,7%. Emotional activity of cycle I is 62,5%, cycle II becomes 77,67%, and cycle III 100%. Keywords: Improved Learning Activity, Cooperative Model, Snowball Throwing ……………Technique

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kosakata dalam makanan tradisional masyarakat Melayu Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini ialah penutur asli bahasa Melayu Pontianak. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah berkaitan dengan inventarisasi, makna kata, fungus makna, dan tata susun kosakata berupa bahan, alat, cara membuat, bentuk, dan warna. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simak dan cakap yang memiliki teknik dasar berupa pemancingan terhadap narasumber yang merupakan penutur asli bahasa melayu dialek Pontianak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang ada, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam bahasa Melayu dialek Pontianak terdapat 49 kosakata makanan tradisional berupa bahan, 23 kosakata makanan tradisional berupa alat, 16 kosakata makanan tradisional berupa cara membuat, 14 kosakata makanan tradisional berupa bentuk, 10 kosakata makanan tradisional berupa warna dan 36 hasil kosakata makanan tradisional Melayu Pontianak.   Kata Kunci: Kosakata, Makanan Tradisional, Melayu Pontianak   Abstract: This study generally aims to examine The Vocabulary of Traditional Food of  Melayu  in  Pontianak. The method of this research was descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. The data of sourcesin this research were native speakers of Melayu in Pontianak that obtained through observing and recording directly. The data in this research was related to the inventory, the meaning of words, the function of the meaning of words and the structure of vocabulary. The techniquethat researcher used in this research was Simak Cakap, that had the basic techniques in form of the processtoward the speakers that who were native speakers in dialect of Melayu Pontianak. Based on the analysis of existing the data, it can be concluded that in Melayu dialect Pontianak there were 49 vocabularies of traditional foods in the form of materials, 23 vocabularies of traditional foods in the form of tools, 16 vocabularies of traditional foods such as how to make, 14 vocabularies of traditional foods such as shape, 10 vocabularies of traditional foods such as color and 36 the results fromvocabulary of traditional food of Melayu in  Pontianak.    1 Keywords: Vocabulary, Food Traditional, Melayu  in  Pontianak

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted to design a teaching material needed by the teacher and students in reading on descriptive text to supportCTLApproach. The material is called Poventure which is the abbreviation of Pontianak Adventure. The research was conducted atSMPNegeri 11 Pontianak with the eighth grade students in academic year 2016/2017 and their English teacher as the participants. The research applied R&D with three phases of development called ADDIE. From the need analysis, it was found that the students need interesting supplementary material to improve their reading comprehension on descriptive text. The research focused on creating the material to fit in the needs. In the research, the design of Poventure covered the concept of the product, while the development of Poventure described the contents and approach included in the product. To validate the product, an expert validation is used with the result of 3.75. This result meant that Poventure is a very good supplementary teaching material for teaching reading on descriptive text to support Contextual Teaching and Learning for grade eighth students at SMPN 11 Pontianak in academic year 2016/2017. Keywords: Poventure, Descriptive Text, Reading, CTl, Development Research

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui informasi mengenai Keberhasilan Usaha Campuss Laundry Mahasiswa Penerima PMW Untan Pontianak. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana Anlisis SWOT Keberhasilan Usaha Campuss Laundry Mahasiswa Penerima PMW Untan Pontianak Dapat Berhasil”. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah usaha campuss laundry yang dijalankan oleh mahasiswa penerima PMW Untan Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kulitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriftif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik observasi langsung, teknik komunikasi langsung, teknik studi dokumenter, alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawncara, dan lembar catatan. Teknik Pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kekuatan (Strengh) yang mendukung keberhasilan usaha campuss laundry adalah lokasi yang berada di lingkungan mahasiswa yang banyak membutuhkan jasa laundry, ketersediaan air yang memadai untuk hasil pencucian yang maksimal, memiliki pelayanan cuci ekspress. Kelemahannya (Weakness) adalah pemilik usaha yang jarang mengawasi langsung di lokasi menyebabkan kurang disiplin karyawan, tidak ada sanksi tegas terhadapkaryawan yang tidak disiplin, pelayanan antar jemput tidak menyeluruh. Peluangnya (Opportunity) adalah lokasi campuss laundry yang berada disekitar lingkungan mahasiswa,  harga yang terjangkau untuk mahasiswa. Tantangannya (threats) adalah pakaian konsumen yang mudah luntur dan melar menjadi alasan ketidak puasan konsumen, karyawan yang kurang disiplin dalam bekerja. Kata Kunci: Analisis SWOT, Keberhasilan Usaha, PMW Untan Abstract: This study aims to find out information about Business Success Student Laundry Campuss Receiver PMW Untan Pontianak. The problem in this research is "How anlisis SWOT Business Success Campuss Laundry Receiver PMW Untan Pontianak Students Can Succeed." The object of this research is an attempt laundry campuss run by students receiving PMW Untan Pontianak. Forms of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques used in this research is direct observation techniques, direct communication techniques, techniques of documentary studies, data collection tool used was the observation guide, wawncara guide, and a record sheet. Data processing techniques used in this study using SWOT analysis. The study states that the strength (strengh) which supports the laundry campuss business success is the location being in an environment that many students require laundry services, the availability of adequate water for maximum cleaning results, has a service wash '. Weakness (Weakness) is a business owner who rarely directly on the site supervising cause lack of discipline of employees, there is no strict sanctions against employees who do not discipline, shuttle service is not exhaustive. The chances (Opportunity) is the location of laundry campuss located around the student environment, an affordable price for students. The challenge (threats) is a consumer of clothing that can be rubbed and stretched the reason for the dissatisfaction of consumers, employees who lack discipline in work. Abstract

AbstractThis research  aimed to describe affix in the Dayak Jangkang language which includes its form, meaning and function. The method used in this research was descriptive method with qualitative form. Source of the data in this study is the Jangkang Dayak language speakers in Jangkang Benua Village, Jangkang District, Sanggau Regency. The data in this study were words that contain affixes spoken by Jangkang Dayak speakers. The techniques used in this study are SLC, SBLC, CS, and fishing techniques. Based on the results of data analysis on the Jangang Dayak language, it can be concluded that there are five affix forms, namely (bo-),(N-),  (le-), and (so-) . The five forms of affixes have their own meaning, affix (bo-) means to have or have, to do something or to do something, to obtain or produce something, to be in a state as mentioned in the basic form, reasoned or reciprocal. Affix (N-) has the meaning of doing something an action or action, doing an action, using or working with what is contained in the basic form, producing or making a thing, making or producing what is said in the basic words. Affix (le-) means stating a passive action. Affix (so-) means stating a passive action. The affix function in the Jangkang Dayak language consists of two, namely derivative functions and inflective functions. Keywords: Affix, Derivative, Inflective, Morphology

Abstract

Abstract A lot of educators who are still using the conventional materials, i.e., instant, and without efforts to plan, prepare, and organize themselves. So, it’s risk is very possible if the learning materials they use are not contextual, not interesting, boring, and not in accordance with the needs of students. The method used was the research and development method. The results of this research, The interactive learning material developed was feasible. Because this learning material was stated to be very valid and feasible by experts even though it has a slight disadvantage. The learning material was able to increase students' skills. After using its, 95.65% of 23 students have intellectual skills in solving questions about daily life related to the area in the integral, 86.96% can find the intersection of the two curves that intersect and determine the area that is limited by the interval and determine the area of the area limited by the intersection of the two curves. For physical skills, 86.96% of 23 students can describe the area to be searched for if it is limited by the curve. Keywords: Area, Development, Interactive Teaching Materials, Skills
