Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk animate (fauna/hewan) dan fungsi informasional metafora dalam mantra masyarakat Melayu Galing Sambas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Batra yang ada di Kecamatan Galing. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik perekaman, pengamatan langsung, dan teknik wawancara. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata, frasa, klausa, dan kalimat metaforis dalam mantra Masyarakat Melayu Galing Sambas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat metafora bentuk animate (flora/hewan) pada mantra Masyarakat Melayu Galing Sambas yang merujuk manusia, keindahan dan jin. Analisis mengenai fungsi metafora menujukkan bahwa mantra masyarakat Melayu Galing Sambas memiliki fungsi informasional kegunaan mantra, media yang digunakan, tujuan mantra, tempat, dan waktu.   Kata kunci: metafora, mantra. Abstract: This study aims to describe the animate form and the informational function of metaphor in Mantra Galing Sambas Malay Community. The method of research used is descriptive qualitative. The source of data of this study was Batra in Galing District. Data collection techniques used in the study were recording, direct observation and interview techniques. The data were words, clauses, and metaphoric sentences used in Mantra Galing Sambas Malay Community. The result shows that Mantra Galing Sambas Malay Community contains animate form of metaphor referred to human being, beauty, and spirit. In addition, the analysis shows that Mantra Galing Sambas Malay Community has the informational function, media used, purpose, place, and time.   Keywords: metaphor, mantra.

Abstract

 Abstract This research aims to determine the use of two stay two stray method to the students’learning outcomes of mathematics of grader V SDN 12 Pontianak South. The research method used is a quasi experimental method with non-equivalent control group design. The number of research subjectis 48 students. Tool of Data collection used is in the form of essay test with six questions. The result of this research is the average of pre-test of experiment class is 25,67 while control class is 29,17. The average post-test of the experimental class is 79.29 and the control class is 69.25. From the result of t test, obtained tarithmeticequal to 2,62 with ttable 2.0273, it means tarithmetic> ttable concluded that there is difference of students’ learning outcome. Based on the calculation of effect size (ES), concluded that ES is 0.62. This means that the use of two stay two stray method impacts a moderate effecton the students’ learning outcome of mathematics of grader V SDN 12 Pontianak South. Keywords: Effect, Two Stay Two Stray, Learning outcome.

Abstract

      AbstractThe research entitled social control of school rules violation in SMA KaryaSekadau. The problem of this research is: how is the social control of school rules violation in SMA KaryaSekadau. The sub-problems in this research are: 1) How is the form of preventive social control and 2)How is the form of repressive social control. The research aims to analyze the social control preventively and repressively of school rules violation in SMA KaryakaryaSekadau. Research form used was qualitative with descriptive method. Data informant were: 1) The principal, Drs. Sumardi, 2) Vice Principal on Student Sector, Yasinta Yuyun, S.Sos, 3) Counseling Teacher, Lasna, S.Pd, 4) Homeroom Teacher Maria Mardiana, S.Pd, 5) Subject Teacher Fransiska, S.Pd, 6) supervisor in-charge when the observation was being held, Lita Lia, S.Pd. The result proved that there was a serious or well function social control which was controlled by the school i.e. the principal, vice principal on student sector, counseling teacher, homeroom teacher, supervisor in-charge, and subject teacher. Efforts or steps had been done to overcome school rules violation were by giving advice such as giving guidance and guiding the problematic students and giving warning such as directly reprimanding the students.Key words: Analysis, Social Control, Violation, School Rules

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the feasibility of science comics as media of learning in food nutrition submaterial. The form of research used is descriptive. The stages of making science comics is a) determining the title and idea of the story, b) determining the character of the characters and storyline, c) making storyboards, d) drawing in the form of sketches, e) image thickening, f) scanning, layout, and editing, then g) making a synopsis of the story. The instrument used in this study was validation sheet. The feasibility of science comics was measured thought test validity by 6 validators, consist of 3 media expert validators and 3 material expert validators. Validity test of media experts used 3 aspects of format, content, and language. Validity test of material experts used 6 aspects of integration, emphasis, balance, form, design and color, images and writing. The results of validation analysis of science comic on sub material food nutrition is considered feasible to be used as a media of learning with the average validation of material experts is 3,12 and validation of media experts  is 3,65.Keywords: Science Comics, Media, Sub Material Food Nutrition

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the influenceof the approach of natural surroundings the learning outcomes of IIS 11th grade students of Taman Mulia High School in Kubu Raya Regency. The method used is the experimental method, the form of research used is "quasy experimental design". The source of this research data is all students of class XI SMA Taman Mulia kabupaten Kubu Raya and the data is the student's answer sheet for the final knowledge test. Data analysis techniques used formulas look for the mean (mean), t test. Based on the results of processing and analyzing data, the results of the study showed that the average student learning outcomes were not applied around 84.81 which was classified as good. but if the situation is different ie 1.67815 ≤ 3.7074 ≥ 1.67815 or t count ≥ t table ie 3.7074 ˃ 1.67815 then H0 is rejected at a significance level of 5% this means that Ha is accepted. So, there is a difference between the average learning outcomes of students who are taught using a natural surroundings approach with the average learning outcomes of students who use conventional learning Keywords: Influence,approach to exploring the natural surroundings, Learning Outcome

Abstract

 AbstractThe problem in this research is "Whether using Student Team Achievement Division type can improve the learning result of Social Sciences of VA class of State Elementary School 04 Bengkayang Bengkayang Sub-district of Bengkayang Regency". This study aims to improve the learning of Social Sciences using the type of Students Teams Achievement Division. This research uses descriptive method with form of research of class action and is collaborative. The place of research took place at State Elementary School 04 Bengkayang with subject of research that is student of class V A which amounted to 36 people. Technique of collecting data that is used is direct observation technique with data collecting tool that is IPKG I and IPKG II sheets. This study was conducted for 4 cycles. The results of the design of learning implementation plan obtained on average in the first cycle of 2.79, cycle II of 3.62, the third cycle of 3.76, IV cycle of 3.93, The results of the learning learning obtained on average on cycle I of 2.88, cycle II of 3.66, cycle III of 3.72, IV cycle of 3.86, The results of student learning outcomes obtained on average in the first cycle of 67.36, cycle II of 70 , 97, cycle III equal to 73,75, cycle IV equal to 94,44. Total number of students in cycle I reached 15 people happened in cycle II increase to 20 people then happened peningkatn on cycle III reached 22 people and in cycle IV happened improvement for all student class V A which amounted to 36 people. From the data obtained can be concluded that there is an increase in each cycle. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in learning civic education using cooperative learning models type numbered head together in class IV State Elementary School 05 Bengkayang Gathering. The research method used is descriptive, a form of classroom action research, the nature of collaborative research. Data collection techniques used in this study are direct observation and document scrutiny. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets in the form of learning planning assessment instruments and assessment instruments for the implementation of learning. The document that is examined is a sheet of students' formative learning outcomes. This research was conducted in three cycles, the results obtained were the ability of researchers to design learning in the first cycle with an average value of 3.17 increasing in the second cycle to 3.48, and the third cycle to 3.83. The ability of teachers to carry out learning in the first cycle was 3.06, the second cycle to be 3.39 in the third cycle was 3.65. Student learning outcomes have increased each cycle after applying the numbered head together model. In the first cycle the average learning outcomes of students were 65.53, in the second cycle it increased to 79.29 and the third cycle became 84.09. The conclusion of this research is that there is an increase in the learning outcomes of citizenship education in the application of the numbered head together model in the fourth grade of the 05 Meeting Elementary School, Bengkayang. Keywords: Numbered Head Together, Learning Outcomes, Civic Education.

Abstract

AbstractThe aimed  of this research were to know the study achievement after being taught by using Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on circle material and to know the effect on study achievement after being taught by using PBL model on Circle material of SMP N 19 Pontianak. The form of this research was quasy experimental study with nonequivalent control grup design. The sample of this research was class VIII F  as an experimental class and class VIII G as a control class. The technique of data collection was a measurement technique and the tool of data collection is a test in the form of essay test. The pretest data are analyzed by using t-test after fulfilling the homogeneity and normality test. The research finding showed that the mean score of pre-test is 5.82 while the mean score of post-test is 16.10. The result of t test was 0.00 with significance different 0.05 indicated that any differences between PBL and direct learning model on study achievement. The calculation of effect size was 2.75. it is higher than 0.8 and categorized as ?High?. Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is "Whether the model concept to sentence writing skills assisted image description essay grade III primary school Land 01 River Kingdom?," aims to describe how big the influence the application of the model concept sentence against writing skills assisted image description essay Grade III primary school Land 01 River Kingdom. This research uses experimental methods, with the form of a Quasi Experimental Design, types of Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population of the entire grade III Land 01 River elementary school consisting of 60 students and sampelnya class III B and III C. Data were collected with use of measurement techniques in the form of a written form of essay tests amounted to 1 question.Data obtained average value description essay writing skills by using the model concept sentence (post test) is the control of class 67.20 and average writing skills bouquet description by using the model concept sentence (post test) class experiment is of 74.10. Research results with the test t obtained t_count (2.328) and t _ (table) of 2.017. Because t_count (2.328) ≥ t_tabel (2.017). The magnitude of the influence of the application of the model concept sentence Indonesia language lessons in particular has influence (effect) which is currently in the writing skills bouquet description with the results of the effect size obtained i.e. 0.52 model concept sentence  exert influence are against Garland description writing skills in primary schools of the country 01 River Kingdom.Keywords: Model Concept Sentence, Writing Skills, Essay Description, Pictures.

Abstract

Abstrak Thesis "The Influence of Library Utilization as a Learning Source for Student Learning Achievement in 2016 FKIP". The problem of research is the influence of the use of the library on student learning achievement. sub-problem of research on how students use the library, how is the student's learning achievement, is there any influence of using the library on learning achievement, how much influence does the library use on learning achievement. students have used the library. The variables in this study are independent variables (X) library utilization and dependent variable (Y) learning achievement. Descriptive method research method, a form of relationship study. The population is 78 students. data collection of indirect communication techniques, namely questionnaires and documentation. Data processing techniques use simple linear regression. The results of the study are the positive influence of the use of the library on learning achievement. Large contribution of  is 0.089. Stating that the utilization of untan library on learning achievement is 8.9%. While the rest is influenced by other variables. Keywords: Library Utilization, Learning Achievement
