Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out about "Economic Competition among Women Traders of Vegetable Traders in Pontianak Flamboyant People's Market" The research method used is descriptive with a form of qualitative research. The source of the data of this research is the women traders of vegetable sellers in Pontianak Flamboyan People's Market and the data are data sheets provided by the Pontianak City SME trade office as well as the results of interviews with women traders selling vegetables in Pontianak Flamboyan People's Market. The analysis in this study was presented in a descriptive qualitative manner using 4 informants. 1. How do traders improve the quality of vegetable products in the Pontianak Flamboyan people's market? 2. How do traders reduce the price of vegetable products in the Pontianak Flamboyan people's market? The results showed that 1 economic competition based on product quality has a strong competitiveness towards consumer choices 2. Price pressure by looking at the quality of products that are getting better then it has a higher selling value so that competition with selling prices will be higher.            Keywords: Competition, Economy, Women Traders

Abstract

AbstractThe Purpose of this research is to learn about The Social Study Teacher?s Teaching Style Variation in Seventh Grade Class of Muhamadiah 1 Junior High Pontianak. The problem arise in this research is how varied social study teacher teach? and How The Teacher of Social Study Class of Muhammadiah 1 Junior High Pontianak choose and moving to better position in class while teaching the Seventh Grader?. The variable used to measure in this research is single variable which is ?Teacher?s teaching variation?. The source of this research is the teacher of Seventh Grade Class of Muhammadiah 1 Junior High Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive Method in the from of Case Study. The data is obtained through live observation, interview, and study documentation. Toanalyze the data, this research used one of the Descriftive analysis, which is the Descriptive Qualitative Analysis. The research shown reasecher obtained compared to the criteria of analysis in teaching variation which consist of voice variation, focusing student?s attention, pausing, field of view, gestures and how to positioning, The Social Study teacher is already good, however there?s a weakness. Abstract

Abstract The problem in this study wht are the difficulties in learning physical education in children with special needs in Pontianak Special Light Nation Middle School. The purpose of this study is to find out what is the diffuculty of learning physical education for children with special need in Pontianak Special Light Nation Middle School. The research method used in this study is the quantitative method of the object which will be examined as it is or the natural state. The form of research is a survey. Data collection techniques used are using observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are percentage descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of the data obtained are percentage in %. The results of the study based on observations showed that 34% of the aspects observed were not carried out by the teacher during the learning process, and 64% of the aspects observed were carried out by the teacher during the learning perocces. From the results of interviews with teachers there were difficulties in learning sports and health physical education activities, namely: difficulties in conveying material, difficulties in sport practice, difficulties in understanding and social interaction. Keywords:       Observation, Learning Process

Abstract

AbstractThis research is based on the problem of Students? Intrinsic Motivation In Learning English in the Eleventh Grade Students of Accounting Study Program At SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. The main objective of this research is answering the research problems; how high is the students? instrinsic motivation in learning English and the factors that influence the students? instrinsic motivation in learning English. The purpose of this research is to find the students? instrictic motivation in learning English based on Self-Determination Theory (SDT). The writer applied questionnaire and interview in this research. The conclusion for autonomy factor was most of the students were experiencing behaviour that emanate from themselves rather than from external sources and accompanied by feeling of curiosity and interest in learning English. Students are autonomous when they willingly devote their time and energy in learning English as shown in their answers from the questionnaire given to them. The conclusion for competence factor was most of the students can be said to be competent when they feel able to meet the challenges in their English learning as shown in their answers from the questionnaire given to them. The conclusion for relatedness factor was most of the students feels the psychological sense of being with others, whether they are fellow students or teachers in learning activity. Keywords: Intrinsic Motivation, Self-Determination Theory, learning English

Abstract

AbstractTerms in building houses of Malay people in Sintang Mengkurai village is aimed at basing the tradition as to preserve the knowledge about the terms in the culture. The problem of this research is lingual units and the significance of the terms in building houses, and the supplementary teaching material in Indonesian Language learning on year-7 in the curriculum of 2013 regarding the terms in building houses of Malay people in Sintang.This research adoped descriptive method through qualitative study and the approach was ethnolinguistics approach. Based on the data analysis, the researcher drawed the following conclusions; (a) lingual units (b) lexical and cultural meaning (c) supplementary teaching material of Indonesian language learning on the standard competence 4.1 in the curriculum of 2013 in the second semester of the year-7 of Junior High School. The researcher found at least 69 terms in which for the first problem there were certain form of lingual units of the terms used by Malay People of Sintang in building houses. First, there were 30 lexemes. Second, the polymorphous lexicon was affixation by which is dominated by the affix in the beginning of root words which is 1. Third, lexical nominee in form of phrases by which were dominated by exocentric are there 38 lexemes.  Keywords: Terms, Culture Of Building Houses

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research are to differentiate student’s activities and learning outcome that taught using problem solving learning with buttoned clashing technique and the students who were taught without using problem solving learning with buttoned clashing technique, and determine the influence of problem solving learning with buttoned clashing technique toward learning outcomes the eleven grade students of SMAN 1 Rasau Jaya on the solubility and solubility. Types of the research is Quasy experiment with nonequivalent control group design research’s program. The sample was taken by saturated sampling technique.  Data were analyzed using U-Man Whitney test. The result of the students activity showed that Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value is 0,000 (α = 5%), and the students learning outcomes showed Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value is 0,002 (α = 5%). This finding showed that the activities and students learning outcomes’ differences between the students who were taught by problem solving learning with buttoned clashing technique and the students who were taught without using the model. The use of problem solving learning with buttoned clashing technique gave influence 21,77% to the improvement of the students learning outcomes.Keywords : Problem Solving, Buttoned Clashing Technique, Activities, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak; Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materigerak lurus beraturan melaluimodel direct instruction berbantuan text transformation. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus di kelas VII SMPJasa Mulia Sungai Baru dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 37 siswa. Pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar siswa dan lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil tes penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas pada siklus I sebesar 71,35 dan siklus II sebesar 78,11. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa meningkat 10,8 % dari 78,38 % (29 siswa) pada siklus I menjadi 89,18 % (33 siswa) pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model direct instruction berbantuan text transformation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi gerak lurus beraturan. Penerapan model pembelajaran ini sebaiknya dirancang dengan persiapan alat peraga dan media pembelajaran sebaikmungkin agar pembelajaran lebih bervariatif dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci :  Model Direct Instruction, Text Transformation. Abstract; This classroom action research aims to improve student learning outcomes in uniform speed of matter through direct instruction models aided text transformation. The study was conducted by two cycles in class VII SMP Jasa Mulia Sungai Baru with the number of students as many as 37 students. The collection of data in the form of test results of the students' learning and observation sheets learning implementation. The test results of research showed the average value of the class in the first cycle of 71.35 and 78.11 for the second cycle. Mastery learning outcomes of students increased by 10.8% from 78.38% (29 students) in the first cycle to 89.18% (33 students) in the second cycle. Based on these results we can conclude that models of direct instruction aided text transformation can improve student learning outcomes in uniform speed of matter. Application of this model should be designed with the preparation of teaching aids and instructional media as possible so learning more varied and effective in improving student learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mendapatkan informasi yang akurat untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS di kelas IV sekolah dasar negeri 06 Ketapang.Adapun hasil penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus dengan meningkatkan aktivitas fisik, aktivitas mental dan aktivitas emosional pada pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan Model Picture and Picture. Hasil aktivitas fisik meningkat dari baseline 46,97% ke siklus 3 menjadi 89,45%, aktivitas mental meningkat dari baseline 28,41% ke siklus 3 menjadi 64,52%, aktivitas emosional meningkat dari baseline 25% ke siklus 3 menjadi 84,42%.  Terjadi peningkatan aktivitas  dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan model Picture and Picture. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Model Picture And Picture Abstract :The aim of this study is generally to get accurate information to improve student learning activities in social teaching in class IV elementary school 06 Ketapang. See crop this study make do much third cycle with increased mental activities, emotional activities, physical activities at study social teaching with used is model picture and picture. Cropphysical activity increased from base line 46,97% to third cycle become 89,45%, mental activities from base line 28,41% to third cycle become 64,52%, emotional activities increased from base line 25% to third cycle become 84,42%. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of using project citizen learning model towards students’ critical thinking skills in the Civic Education subject in 10th grade of Science II, MAN 1 Pontianak. This is a pre-experimental study with one-group pretest-posttest design. 37 students from class X Science II of MAN 1 Pontianak were taken as the sample. The research instrument used was in the form of an essay with 10 questions. The average score obtained from the pretest and posttest were respectively 32.30 and 79.38. Based on the statistical analysis using SPSS 16.0, the data were normally distributed with the Sig. value greater than 0,05 (0,530 > 0,05). The results of the t-test hypothesis indicate that the sig. value is 0,000 <0,05, whereas the value of decision making referring to the t-table is 19,798> 2.03011; therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the calculation of the effect size value, it was categorized as a strong effect on the value of 5,36  > 1,00. In conclusion, there is an effect in the use of citizen project learning models towards students' critical thinking skills in civic education subject in class X Science II of MAN 1 Pontianak. Keywords: Critical Thinking Skill, Learning Model, Project Citizen.
