Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to analyze the student’s mistake make in answering questions about the kinetic theory os gas and finding the cause of the mistake. The method of this research was descriptive method. Essays dan interviews were the tools of data collection which were given to upper, medium,and lower level students. Sample of this research was 23 students 11th grade of SMAN 1 Kendawangan. The result showed that the kind of mistakes were unit mistake (59,13%), formula mistake (19,56%), count mistake (26,14%). Students often make mistake in deciding the unit because they were not careful, in rush and they cooperate as well. On the other hand, students made mistake in counting because they were not careful and in rush. The hope of this research was teacher can help the students in solving the questions correctly Keywords : analysis mistake profile, complete question, presentation mistake,reason mistake

Abstract

Abstract:The purpose of this research is to evaluate and to provide information about the quality of English Summative test of grade XI SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak made by the teacher in academic year 2014/ 2015 by measuring the validity which consist of content validity, level of difficulty, discriminating power and the reliability of the test. This research is descriptive study. The test being analyzed are 50 multiple choice items. The data were collected by using a documentary technique. The data were taken from the items of English Summative test made by the teacher for grade XI, answer key, students’ answer sheets, and test table of specification. The finding shows that the content validity of the test is 92%, there are 46 test items are good and 4 test items should be revised. The mean of level difficulty of the test is 0.45 (moderate), discriminating power is 0.24 (moderate) and reliability of the test is 0.64 (substantial). From the result, it is concluded that the test items have given a big contribution for the teacher to measure the students’ competence. The test items already fulfilled the requirements of good test, but still need some revision on some items. Keywords: Item Analysis Made By The Teacher.   Abstrak:Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dan menyediakan informasi tentang kualitas soal Bahasa Inggris Sumatif kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak yang dibuat oleh guru pada tahun akademik 2014/ 2015 dengan mengukur validitas yang terdiri atas validitas isi, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, dan reliabilitas pada soal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Soal yang dianalisis sebanyak 50 butir soal pilihan ganda. Data dari penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Data diambil dari butir-butir soal Sumatif Bahasa Inggris yang dibuat oleh guru kelas XI, kunci jawaban, lembar jawaban siswa, dan kisi-kisi pembuatan soal. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa validitas isi test adalah 92%, ada 46 butir test yang baik dan 4 butir tes yang harus diperbaiki. Nilai rata-rata tingkat kesukaran tes 0,45 (sedang), daya pembeda 0,24 (sedang) dan reliabilitas tes 0,64 (kuat). Dari hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa soal ini telah memberikan kontribusi besar kepada guru untuk mengukur kompetensi siswa. Butir soal telah memenuhi persyaratan sebagai soal yang baik, tapi masih dibutuhkan beberapa revisi pada beberapa butir soal. Kata Kunci: Analisis Soal Buatan Guru.

Abstract

AbstractVerb is an important part in Mandarin grammar. “Liao Jie” and “Li Jie” are include as stative verbs. The definition of those two words are not really different, but the usage are different. It is also because the understanding  are not really different, during the learning activities the student is not understand or not clear about the difference between those two words until create mistake.To find out how the mastery condition of student from Tanjungpura University chinese language education study program batch 2016 for the words of “Liao Jie” and “Li Jie” , the writer use research test method to know the mastery condition of students and analyze student difficulties towards those two words. The result shows that the mastery condition of student toward “Liao Jie” is better than “Li Jie”. “Liao Jie” the percentage is 59% and “Li Jie” only 46%. In the analysis of the type of difficulty, the writer found the students mastery is in “Liao Jie” means clearly understand and “Li Jie” means only understand. Keywords : “Liao Jie”     “Li Jie”     Understanding Condition

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi fluida statis melalui model pembelajaran quantum teaching. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus di kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar, angket motivasi belajar, dan lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II  sebesar 3,22% dari 70,97% menjadi 74,19%, sedangkan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 2,10% dari 75,40% menjadi 77,40 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran quantum teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi fluida statis. Penerapan model pembelajaran ini sebaiknya dirancang dengan persiapan media belajar sebaik mungkin demi ketertarikan siswa terhadap materi yang dipelajari. Kata Kunci :  Hasil Belajar, Motivasi, Quantum Teaching Abstract : This classroom action research aimed to improve students? outcomes and motivation in the static fluid material through quantum teaching model. This research was conducted in two cycles to the eleventh grade of natural science major 2 (XIIPA 2) of Public Senior High School 9 Pontianak with a total of 31 students. The data were collected through the learning outcome test, learning motivation questionnaire and learning observation sheet. The results indicated that there was an improvement in students? learning outcomes from the first to the second cycle by 3,22% from 70,97% to 74,19%, while the improvement in students? learning motivation from the first to the second cycle was 2,10% from 75,40% to 77,40%. Based on the research findings, it was concluded that the quantum teaching model could improve the students? learning outcomes and motivation particularly in the static fluid material. The application of this model should be designed with the best learning media preparation so as to increase students? interest in the material. Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research was the influence by using manipulaitve media in Matematic Learning against the results of the grade IV elementary school number 05 Pontianak city. The method used was the experiment with forms of Experimental Design Quaisy design non equivalent control group design. This research sample was grade IV A of as a class experiment and grade IV B of as a class control. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and data-collecting instrument was the written test multiple choice-shaped.  Based on the analysis of data obtained average results post-test experiments class with an average 75,17 and post-test control class 67,04. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained  = 2.566 while for dk (23+23 - 2 = 44) with significant level α = 5% obtained  = 1.681, meaning >, then the Ha received, this proves there was influence by using manipulative media in matematic learning. Based on the results of the calculation of effect size (ES) obtained ES = 0.79 which included the criteria of medium. Therefore it can be concluded that using manipulative media in matematic learning provide positive influence towards learning outcomes grade IV elementary school number 05 Pontianak city. Keyword: Influence, Manipulative Media,  TheResults of the Matematic Learning

Abstract

AbstractThe problem of this research was whether there is influence of circuit training on the anaerobic endurance of the UNTAN women's futsal team. This study aimed to determine the effect of circuit training on the anaerobic endurance of UNTAN women's futsal team. The method in this study used an experimental method in the form of Pre Experimental Design. The population in this study was the UNTAN  women's futsal team which totaled 13 students. The number of samples in this studyamounted to 13 students. The instrument used was RAST. Data analysis using t test analysis (influence test). Based on the calculation of the data obtained the results of t test (influence test), t count of 2.749 and ttable of 1,782 can be concluded t count> t table (2,749> 1,782). It can be concluded, there is an influence from circuit training on the anaerobic endurance of UNTAN women's futsal team. As for the percentage increase after being given a circuit training treatment of 22%.Keywords: Anaerobic endurance, Circuit training, Futsal

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan penuntun praktikum pencemaran udara hasil analisis jumlah stomata dan kadar klorofil tumbuhan sebagai bahan ajar pada sub materi pencemaran udara. Bentuk penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif yang dikembangkan dari penelitian analisis jumlah stomata dan kadar klorofil. Validasi penuntun praktikum dilakukan oleh dua orang dosen pendidikan Biologi FKIP Untan dan tiga orang guru bidang studi biologi. Hasil analisis validasi penuntun praktikum menunjukkan rata-rata total validasi sebesar 3,47 dan tergolong valid, sehingga penuntun praktikum pencemaran udara layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pada sub materi pencemaran udara kelas X SMA. Namun, perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan penuntun praktikum di sekolah. Kata kunci: Kelayakan, penuntun praktikum, pencemaran udara. Abstract: This study aimed to determine the feasibility of practicum guidance on the analysis of air pollution based on the number of stomata  and chlorophyll level as teaching material in the sub material of air pollution. The study was descriptive research who developed from the research of stomata number and chlorophyll level. The validation of practicum guidance was conducted by two Biology lecturers of FKIP Untan and three biology teachers. The results of practicum guidance validation analysis showed that the average total validation was 3.47 and classified as valid, so air pollution practicum was feasible to be used as teaching material in the sub material of air pollution for class X SMA. However, further research needs to be done to determine the student’s response to the use of practicum guidance in schools.Key word:  Feasibility, practicum guidance, air pollution.

Abstract

Abstract: This research focuses on designing task-based instructional strategy on recycling newspaper to improve students’ in reading procedure text of SMAN 2 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya in Academic Year 2013/2014. The aim of this research is to construct teaching and learning strategy on recycling newspaper to improve students’ ability in reading procedure text for SMAN 2 Sungai Raya students. The research method used in this research is development research. The process in this research used analysis, design and development. The participants in this research are students and English teachers at SMAN 2 Sungai Raya. The researcher uses observation and interview as the tools of data collecting. Based on observation the researcher formulate the goals and learning objective. The interview findings the difficulties in teaching procedure text and effectiveness of the text book or LKS. Needs analysis obtains the following information about the goals, students’ experience, and identify the probable causes for a performance gap. The design phase explains relationship between approach and design be present a construct. The development phase represents activities and procedures planned for student’s activities. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun gagasan strategi dalam belajar dan mengajar menggunakan koran bekas untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca teks prosedure pada siswa SMAN 2 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Proses dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis, rancangan dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan siswa-siswa dan guru bahasa inggris di SMAN 2 Sungai Raya. Peneliti menggunakan pengamatan dan wawancara sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti dapat merumuskan sasaran dan tujuan pembelajaran. Dalam wawancara menemukan kesulitan mengajar teks prosedure dan keefektipan buku atau lembar kerja siswa. Analisis terkait dengan informasi tentang sasaran, pengalaman siswa, dan masalah yang dihadapi. Tahap rancangan menjelaskan hubungan antara rancangan dan metode untuk menjadi gagasan. Pengembangan menjelaskan aktivitas-aktivitas dan tata cara merancang kegiatan siswa. Kata kunci: Teks prosedure, Koran, Penelitian Pengembangan

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media poster terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup kelas VII SMPN 2 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design.Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, kelas VII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII H sebagai kelas kontrol dengan teknik pengambilan sampel intact group. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen 16,66 sedangkan kelas kontrol 15,10. Hasil analisis uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung<-Ztabel(-2,60<-1,96), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media poster dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai Effect Size yang diperoleh sebesar 0,47 dengan kategori sedang sehingga model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media postermemberikan pengaruh sebesar 18,08% terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup kelas VII SMPN 2 Sungai Raya. Kata kunci: model Think Pair Share berbantuan media poster Abstract: This research aims to find out the effect of poster-aided Think Pair Share  learning model on student learning outcomes in the material of Living Organism Classification in the seventh grade of State Junior High School (SMPN) 2 Sungai Raya. The method used was the quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The samples are consisted of two classes, seventh grade class F as the experiment class and class H as the control class, while the sampling technique used was the intact group. The average student outcome in the experiment class was 16,66, while the control class 15,10. The results of the analysis using the U Mann-Whitney test show that Zcount< -Ztable (-2,60 < -1,96), meaning that there were significant differences between the learning outcomes of student taught using the poster-aided Think Pair Share and using the conventional learning model. The size effect value obtained was 0,47 in the category of moderate so that the poster-aided Think Pair Share learning model had an impact of 18,08% on the student learning outcomes in the material of living organism in the seventh grade of SMPN 2 Sungai Raya. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to know the effectiveness of systematic approach to problem solving (SAPS) assisted self-diagnosis sheet to improve students' ability to solve the harmonic oscillation problem in SMAN 8 Pontianak. This study was Pre-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest Posttest design. The instrument of data collection was using essay test, each consisting of four questions. 27 students of class X MIPA 1 as a sample selected by Intact group. Based on the data obtained the average score of pretest was 20.07 and posttest was 40.00. It can be concluded that there were differences in the ability of students to solve problems before and after being given using systematic approach to problem solving (SAPS) assisted self-diagnosis Sheet (p <0.05). Systematic approach to problem solving (SAPS) with self-diagnosis sheet assisted effectively to improve students' ability to solve problems with effect size of 3.61 (high category). This study is expected to be used as an alternative learning for students who have difficulty in solving problems especially in physics.Keyword: SAPS, Self-diagnosis Sheet, and Harmonic Oscillation
