Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed at improving students? reading comprehension of narrative text. This research was conducted to second year students of SMK Al-Madani Pontianak in academic year 2013/2014. This class consists of 30 students. The researcher conducted a classroom action research. The data was collected by using observation and measurement technique. The observation checklist and field notes were used as the tools of data collecting. Students? Team Achievement Division (STAD) was used as technique in this research. The researcher applied three cycles. The research findings showed that the mean score of students? reading comprehension in the first cycle was 55.36; the second cycle was 58.33 but in the third cycle was 62.03. From the research applied to the subject of the research, it can be stated that the Students? Team Achievement Division (STAD) could ensure the students in understanding and comprehending the text they read. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas dua SMK Al-Madani Pontianak pada tahun akademik 2013/2014. Kelas ini terdiri dari 30 siswa. Peneliti melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi dan teknik pengukuran. Ceklis pengamatan dan catatan lapangan digunakan sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Students? Team Achievement Division (STAD) digunakan sebagai teknik dalam penelitian ini. Peneliti diterapkan tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata dari pemahaman membaca siswa pada siklus I adalah 55,36; siklus kedua adalah 58,33 tapi pada siklus ketiga adalah 62,03. Dari penelitian yang diterapkan pada subjek penelitian, dapat dinyatakan bahwa Students? Team Achievement Division (STAD) bisa menjamin siswa dalam memahami dan memahami teks yang mereka baca. Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitan ini secara umum untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III  SDN 17 Delta Pawan, Ketapang dengan menggunakan metode permainan ular tangga berbantuan media visual pada pelajaran IPS di kelas III SDN 17 Delta Pawan Ketapang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik presentase. Terdapat peningkatan persentase rata-rata hasil belajar dari pratindakan yaitu 62,96% menjadi 73,33% pada siklus I dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 93,33%. Dengan demikian skor rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I  di kategorikan sedang kemudian pada Siklus II dikategorikan Tinggi.   Kata Kunci : Metode Permainan Ular Tangga Berbantuan Media Visual dan Hasil Belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial   Abstract: The aim of this research in general to improve learning outcomes third grade students of SDN 17 Delta Pawan, Ketapang using the game of snakes and ladders aided visual media in social studies in grade III SDN 17 Delta Pawan Ketapang. This research method using descriptif method. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques with percentage techniques. There is an increase in the average percentage of learning outcomes of pratindakan ie 62.96% to 73.33% in the first cycle and the second cycle increased to 93.33%. AbstractThe title of this research is ?Analysis of Santri Cooperation in Life A Day in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang?. A common problem in this study is how is the cooperation of santri in everyday life in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang, with sub problems (1) how is the cooperation in the form of harmony mutual help santri in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang? (2) how is the cooperation in the form of mutual cooperation harmony santri in Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Sengkubang?. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan pada prestasi belajar siswa kelas X IIS SMA Taruna Bumi khatulistiwa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan observasi langsung, komunikasi langsung, dan studi dokumenter dengan alat pengumpul data pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Analisis dalam penelitian ini disajikan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan informan pembina pramuka, dan siswa kelas X IIS SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa . Kesimpulanya adalah peranan kegiatan kepramukaan yang ada di SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa memberikan hal positif bagi siswa contohnya lebih banyak menerima masukan (input), lebih cekatan dalam menerima materi, mandiri, dewasa, memiliki jiwa kepemimpinan dan lebih disiplin dalam mengikuti proses belajar. Kata Kunci : Kepramukaan, Prestasi Belajar Abstract : This study aims to determine the role of extracurricular activities scouting in class X student achievement IIS SMA Taruna Earth equator. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used is by direct observation, direct communication, and documentary studies with data collection tool guidelines for observation, interview and documentation study. Sources of data in this study using primary data sources and secondary data sources. The analysis in this study are presented in descriptive qualitative by using informants scoutmaster, and class X SMA Taruna IIS Earth Equator. The conclusion is the role of scouting activities in SMA Taruna Earth's Equator provides a positive thing for students for example, more accepting inputs, more nimble in receiving the material, independent, mature, leadership potential and be more disciplined in following the learning process. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran metode debat terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan berkomunikasi siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA negeri 1 Segedong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode experiment dengan bentuk penelitian quasi experiment dan rancangan percobaan yaitu nonequeivalent control group design. Jumlah populasi sebanyak 96 siswa. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu lembar tes dan lembar observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis data kuantitatif statsitik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran metode debat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan berkomunikasi siswa pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Segedong dengan effect size 1,184 pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dan 1,664 pada kemampuan berkomunikasi dengan kriteria tinggi yaitu ES > 0,8.   Kata Kunci: Metode debat, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis, Kemampuan Berkomunikasi. Abstract: The purpose of the study is to know on the effectivity of teaching methods debate on critical thinking skills and communication skills of students on economic subjects in SMA Negeri 1 Segedong. The method of the study was experiment in form of quasi experiment and the simulation design was nonequeivalent control group design. Total population of 96 students. The sample of the study was 60 students. The tools of collecting data were test and observation sheet. The analysis data was done by doing descriptive statistic quantitative data analysis.  The result that the learning methods of debate effective in improving critical thinking skills and communication skills of the students on the subjects of Economics in SMAN 1 Segedong with effect size 1,184 on critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate with the 1,664 high criteria are ES> 0.8. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to identifying the effect of interactive powerpoint media to the students learning motivation on kidney excretion sub material at eighth grade of SMP Negeri 16 Pontianak. This research form was experimental with one-shot case study design. The sampling technique used was random sampling, with VIII B class as the experimental class and VIII A class as the control class. The sample in this research amounted to 60 students consisting of 30 students from VIII B class and 30 students from VIII A class. The instrument research were validation sheet of interactive powerpoint media and learning motivational questionnaires. The validation sheet of interactive powerpoint media consists of 2 aspects namely content and language. While the learning motivational questionnaires consists of 6 aspects namely attraction, seriousness, interest, activeness, satisfaction, and optimism. The results of media validation indicate that the media is suitable for use. The questionnaires effect size value obtained is 0.2 with a low category, giving an effect of 7.93%. So, can be concluded that interactive powerpoint learning media is declared valid with an effect of 7.93% on students learning motivation. Keywords: Interactive Powerpoint, Kidney Excretion Sub Material, Students Learning Motivation

Abstract

  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peranan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak (Studi Kasus pada Keluarga nelayan di Desa Sungai Jaga B Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kabupaten Bengkayang). Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi, dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa panduan observasi, panduan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan peranan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak pada keluarga nelayan di Desa Sungai Jaga B Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kabupaten Bengkayang belum terlaksana dengan baik, berdasarkan hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang telah peneliti laksanakan membuktikan bahwa orang tua dari keluarga nelayan belum melaksanakan peranannya dalam pendidikan agama, sosial dan akhlak. Kata Kunci:   Peranan Orang Tua, Pendidikan Anak,  Keluarga Nelayan Abstrack: The purpose of this research is to know parent role of children education (in case of fisherman family in Sungai Jaga B village, Sungai Raya sub-district, Bengkayang Province). In this research used qualitative approach with descriptive method. The data collection technique used is observation technique, interview, and study documentation, with a gatherer data in the form of guide observation, interview guide, and documentation. The result of this research shows parent role of children education in firherman family in Sungai Jaga B village, Sungai Raya sub-district, Bengkayang Province not going well. Based on the results of the observation, interview, and documentation have researchers that parent of firherman family not yet do their role religion education, social, and moral.   Keywords : parent role, children education, fisherman family

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada materi pesawat sederhana di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas, terdiri dari dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 34 siswa. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan tes uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 72,79 dengan ketuntasan 67,65% dan pada siklus II sebesar 75 dengan ketuntasan 73,52%. Dengan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pesawat sederhana.   Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw, Materi Pesawat Sederhana. Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase of students learning outcomes  by implementing jigsaw cooperative learning in the material of the simple machine in class VIII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. This study was a classroom action research, consisting of two cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this research were 34 students. The data collection instruments were in the form of observation sheets and essay test. The result showed the average increase in learning outcomes in the first cycle by 72.79 with mastery of 67.65%  and in the second cycle by 75 with mastery of  73.52%. These results indicated that the jigsaw cooperative learning can improve students learning outcomes in the material of simple machine.   Keywords: Learning Outcome, Jigsaw Cooperative Learning, Simple Machine Material.

Abstract

AbstractThe Purpose of this development research is to develop the image media on the subjects of image capturing techniques in improving student learning outcomes. The method of this research used is development method with descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were 29 students of the tenth graders. Techniques and data collection tools using; (1) expert validation questionnaire, (2) observation guide, (3) pretest and posttest. Data analysis using qualitative analysis. The results of the expert validation questionnaire validated and feasible to be used in research. Student learning outcomes measured through pretest and posttest of the basic techniques of capturing image are known; (l) pretest result shows 62.06 % of student unfinished while 37.93% student result of learning is complete, (2) result of posttest known 68.96% student result of learning complete and 31.03% student result of learning not complete. Learning by using the image media in image capturing technique subject to the students on the tenth graders in SMK Mardiri Pontianak, during the learning process conducted observations of student learning activities, the observation of student activity in learning activities known 82.75% students are very active and 17.24% of active students.Keywords: Image Media, Image Capturing Technique

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the psychomotor skills of students class XI SCIENCE Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa Senior High School on material electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution. The form of this research is descriptive with case study method using measurement technique and direct communication. The subjects were students Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa Senior High School in XI IPA 1 academic year 2016/2017 consisted of 27 students. The data collection tool used in this research is the students' psychomotor rating sheet on the practicum of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution. The results showed that students' psychomotor skills in assembling electrolyte test equipment including very good category, good and enough were 87.87%, 9.09%, and 3.03% respectively, and the aspect of testing the electrolyte solution in the very good category , good, enough and not good is 5757%, 30.3%, 9.09% and 3.03% respectively. This shows that students class XI SCIENCE Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa Senior High School has been able to assembling electrolyte test equipment and testing the electrolyte solution.Keywords: Psychomotor Skills, Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Solution
