Abstract

 AbstractThis research was purposed to find out the effectiveness of the implementation of learning cycle 5E in improving science process skills of the students in heat and displacement . Pre-Experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test was used in this research. The population is all the students of class VII SMP Swasta Pancasila. Using simple random sampling the sample of this research was VIIA that have 20 studentes. This research instrument used test that have 6 essay questions. The average of the students KPS test result before the implementation of learning cycle 5E was 20,90, where as the students KPS test result after the implementation of learning cycle 5E was at 36,20. T-test was conducted to show an increase after applying learning cycle 5E. Learning cycle 5E models increased students’s KPS on heat and displacement with gain score as of 0.57 in the medium category. In conclusion, learning cycle 5E is applicable to be used as learning method to improve students’s KPS. Keyword: heat and displacement, learning cycle 5E, science process skills.

Abstract

Abstrac: This research concerns on item analysis, including level of difficulty, discriminating power, and distractor analysis of the English Summative Test Items at the Eighth Grade Junior High School in Pontianak in Academic Year 2014/2015. The purpose is to provide current information about the quality of the English summative test and to compare the quality of the test items at X, Y and Z Junior High School. Some qualitative evidence and quantitative data from the test scores are collected, analysed, and interpreted. For the sample of participants as examinees, 3 junior high schools are selected through stratified purposive sampling based on the similar school accreditation ranks. The item analysis findings show 98% test items at X Junior High School, 94% test items at Y Junior High School, and 100% test items at Z Junior High School that are in need of improvement. The test developers need to consider revising items with very low or very high item difficulty and very low discrimination ability. Furthermore, an action needs to be taken to revise distractors that are not plausible.   Key word: item analysis, summative test, quality of test Abstrak: Penelitian ini mengacu pada analisis soal ulangan umum yang meliputi tingkat kesukaran, daya pembedaan, dan analisis pengecoh kelas 8 SMP di Pontianak tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan informasi tentang kualitas soal dan perbandingan kualitas soal di SMP X, Y, and Z. Beberapa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif, seperti nilai telah terkumpul, dianalisis, dan diinterpretasikan. Sampel peserta tes dipilih dari 3 sekolah berdasarkan tingkat akreditasi yang sama. Penemuan dari analisis soal ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 98% soal di SMP X, 94% soal di SMP Y, dan 100% soal di SMP X memerlukan peningkatan kualitas. Pembuat soal harus mengubah soal yang terbukti kurang berkualitas. Terakhir, soal-soal yang diubah harus segera ditindak lanjuti.   Kata kunci: analisis soal, soal ulangan umum, kualitas soal

Abstract

AbstractThis background of this researchers to find musical structures accompanied by Bakoncong dance of the Badamea Dayak tribe of Senatab Village, Sajingan Besar District, Sambas Regency. The problem of this research were "What is the structure of the accompaniment of Bakoncong dance of the Dayak Badamea tribe, The design of the implementation of the structure of music accompaniment to the Bakoncong dance in class VIII cultural arts subjects. This research method was an exploratory descriptive method. The form of this research was qualitative. The approach of this research was ethnomusicology approach. The data of this study were the results of interviews, observations, documentation. The data collection techniques of this study were observation, direct communication and documentary studies. The research data collection tool were the researcher as the main instrument, observation guidelines and documentation tools. Checking the validity of the research data were an extension of observation and triangulation of techniques. The data analysis technique of this research were the analysis during data collection analyzed after data collection. The results of this study were describing the accompaniment of music structure of Bakoncong dance, understanding of Bakoncong, and musical instrument. The design of the implementation of the accompaniment of music structures in the Bakoncong dance on class VIII cultural arts subjects. Keywords: Accompaniment music, Bakoncong dance, Structure of music.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru Penjasorkes SMA/MA Kota pontianak yaitu SMAN 2, 6, 7, dan 8, SMA Muhammadiyah 1, Madrasah Aliyah Mujahidin, SMA Katolik Santu Petrus dan SMA Kristen Immanuel terhadap KTSP 2006 dan Kurikulum 2013. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 14 orang guru. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil persepsi guru Penjasorkes SMA/MA Kota Pontianak memilih Kurikulun 2013 sebanyak  66,57% dan yang memilih KTSP 2006 sebanyak 33,43%. Dapat  disimpulkan bahwa persepsi guru terhadap Kurikulum 2013 lebih baik dibandingkan persepsi guru terhadap KTSP 2006, karena Kurikulum 2013 lebih jelas dan rinci serta efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan menjadikan guru lebih berkompeten dibidangnya.   Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan 2006, Kurikulum 2013   Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out the Penjasorkes teachers’ perception of SMA/MA in Pontianak which are SMAN 2, SMAN 6, SMAN 7, SMAN 8, SMA Muhammadiyah 1, Madrasah Aliyah Mujahidin, SMA Katolik Santu Petrus and SMA Kristen Immanuel toward KTSP 2006 and curriculum of 2013. The method used is descriptive method in the form of survey research. The sample of this research about 14 teachers. Based on the result of Penjasorkes teachers’ perception of SMA / MA in Pontianak that choose curriculum of 2013 as many as 66.57% and choose KTSP 2006 as many as 33.43%. We can conclude that the teachers’ perception toward curriculum of 2013 better than the teachers’ perception toward KTSP 2006, because curriculum of 2013 is clear and detailed, and effectively improve students learning outcomes and make the teachers more competent in their field.   Keywords:  Perception, Education Unit Level Curriculum 2006, Curriculum          2013

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the feasibility of Student Worksheet based on the analysis of the water quality of Ambawang River on the Sub Material of Water Pollution for first grade of high school. The study was conducted by descriptive method. The student worksheet consisted of learning goals, user instructions, research data, questions and conclusion of discussion material. This student worksheet was made through three stages, namely the preparation, revision and validation. The validation was carried out by 5 experts, consisting of 2 lecturers and 3 high school teachers. The validation data by five validators was calculated using the CVR and CVI formulas according to Lawshe (1975). The CVR and CVI value of the student worksheets was both 0,795 which mean that the student worksheets were not suitable for use and needed to be revised based on the recommedation from 5 validators. Keywords : Student Worksheet, Water Quality,  Submaterial of Water Pollution

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan  manajemen stres dalam pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa di kelas XI AK SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi hubungan, dan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI AK tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Hasil uji persentase pada sub masalah pertama yaitu manajemen stres dalam pembelajaran akuntansi di kelas XI AK berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dengan hasil sebesar 74,42% dengan kategori baik, sedangkan uji persentase pada sub masalah kedua hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran akuntansi di kelas XI AK sebesar 79,76%, dengan kategori baik. Hasil uji normalitas data pada variable manajemen stres 0,521 dan hasil uji normalitas data pada variabel hasil belajar sebesar 0,631, yang berarti kedua variabel berdistribusi normal. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif manajemen stres terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan dari tabel resume SPSS sebesar 0,000 dimana sig < dari 0,050, dan besar pengaruh koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 80%. Kata Kunci: Manajemen Stres dan Hasil Belajar Abstract: This study aims to determine and describe of stress management in learning and learning outcomes of students in class XI AK SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. This research uses descriptive method with the form of research studies the relationship, and the samples were students of class XI AK academic year 2014/2015. The results of this study show that: the percentage of test results on the sub first problem is the stress management in accounting learning in class XI effect on learning outcomes with a yield of 74.42% with a good category, while the percentage in the test sub second problem results student learning in accounting learning in class XI AK amounted to 79.76%, with both categories. Results of normality test data on stress management .521 variables and normality test results data on learning outcomes variable of 0.631, which means the two variables with normal distribution. There is a significant and positive effect of stress management on learning outcomes of students who demonstrated on the table resume SPSS 0,000 where sig <of 0,050, and the influence of the coefficient of determination (R ²) of 80%.  Keywords: Stress Management and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis final project discusses the library facilities and the interest of visiting visitors in the Regional Secretariat Library of West Kalimantan Province. The formulation of the problem of this research is what are the factors that influence the lack of user interest in the Regional Secretariat Library of West Kalimantan Province? and the efforts of the manager of the West Kalimantan Regional Secretariat in increasing the interest of visitors in the Regional Secretariat Library of West Kalimantan Province? The purpose of this study is to find out what factors influence the lack of interest of visitors in the Regional Secretariat Library of West Kalimantan Province, for efforts to manage the secretary of West Kalimantan Regional Library in increasing the interest of visitors in the Regional Secretariat Library of West Kalimantan Province. This type of research is an associative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was the average of visitors who visited for the last 3 months, namely 58 visitors, while the study sample used the Slovin formula with accidental sampling technique obtained by 58 respondents. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap kemampuan guru dalam proses pembelajaran sosiologi di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat Kabupaten Sambas. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumenter. Adapun alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Sampel penelitian ini adalah 40 siswa.Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Persepsi siswa terhadap kemampuan guru bidang studi sosiologi di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat Kabupaten Sambas secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan cukup baik. Hal ini dilihat dari jumlah persentase jawaban rata-rata responden  60% memberi tanggapan cukup baik terhadap kemampuan guru dalam proses pembelajaran sosiologi di kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat Kabupaten Sambas.   Kata Kunci : Persepsi Siswa, Proses Pembelajaran, Pembelajaran Sosiologi Abstract: This research aims to determine students perception of the ability of teachers in learning sociology in grade XI IPS High School District State 1 Pemangkat SAMBAS. In this research, researcher use of qualitative approachment, use of descriptive method with technical data accumulation is observation technical, interview, and documentary study. Instrument data accumulation in this research is observation escort, interview escort, and documentary. The study sample is 40 student. The results of data analysis showed that the student perception of the ability of teachers in learning sociology in grade XI IPS High School District State 1 Pemangkat SAMBAS overall it can be said quite good. It is seen from the number to the percentage 60% of respondents responded quite well of the ability of teachers in learning sociology in grade XI IPS High School District State 1 Pemangkat SAMBAS Keywords: Students Perception, Learning, Learning Sociology

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efektivitas remediasi penerapan model active learning yang mengalami miskonsepsi pada materi gerak lurus di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini berupa pre-eksperimen menggunakan one group pretest-postest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 38 siswa kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa teknik pengukuran menggunakan tes diagnostik berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan alasan sebanyak 10 soal. Hasil analisis data diperoleh  (183,64) >  (3,84). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan miskonsepsi siswa yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah remediasi menggunakan model active learning pada materi gerak lurus.   Kata Kunci: Remediasi, Active Learning, Miskonsepsi Abstract: This study aims to determine effectiveness of remediation application of active learning models that have misconceptions on rectilinear motion in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. This research is the form of pre-experiment using a one group pretest-postest. The study sample consisted of 38 students of class VIII B SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. Data collection technique used in the form of a measurement technique using multiple choice diagnostic tests with reason that have total 10 questions. The result of data analysis  (183,64) >  (3,84). Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the implemtation of Full Day School at SMAN 06 Pontianak.Based on Full Day School indicators namely,optimizing the use of time,intensifying talent depelopment,instilling the importance of the procces,focusing on learning,developing creativity and well controlled children.Data collection techniques used are observation,interview and documentation.This analysis is presented in a qualitative descriptive manner using 1 informant as principal,2 teachers and 4 students.Based on the results of interviews and observations that are carried out based on Full Day School indicators,1.optimizing the use of time is quite good where all activities are scheduled but there are obstacles in sports subjects that are still scheduled at noon due to lack of sports teacher.2.Intensive exploring and developing talent is categorized quite well with the existence of extracurricular choices.3.instill the importance of the process categorized quite well the results of the study indicate that systematic scheduled learning activities.4.focus on student learning is categorized as not good that the concentration of students when learning is easily disturbed,especially in the afternoon.5. developing creativity in using innovative learning methods is said to be very lacking because teachers still use the old methods.6.children can be controlled well shows that the school can not fully control students.The advice in this research is for school to pay more attention to schoolfacilities and infrastructure,teacherr are expevted to be able ti innovate in delivering learning and for students to be more enthusiastic in learning.Keywords: Full Day, Full Day School, Full Day School Implementation
