Abstract

 Abstract This research aimed at improving students? ability in writing descriptive text through mind mapping collaborative writing technique. The data were taken from students of X B in SMA Nusantara Indah Sintang in the Academic Year 2016-2017. The finding showed that this technique could make the students enjoyed the writing activity and generated the students? motivation to get involved in the writing process. The students were happy worked collaboratively with other student; moreover, the students could share their difficulties among the activity. Mind mapping collaborative writing could help the students to improve their writing descriptive texts and motivate the students to be active in the writing activity. Mind mapping collaborative writing is suggested to use in teaching writing. Keywords: Teaching Writing, Mind Mapping Collaborative Writing, Writing Descriptive Texts. Abstrak, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa/siswi dalam menulis teks deskriptif melalui tehnik ?mind mapping collaborative writing? pada siswa/siswi SMA Nusantara Indah Sintang, kelas XB tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tehnik ini dapat membuat siswa merasa nyaman dan memicu motivasi mereka dalam kegiatan menulis. Para siswa senang bekerja sama denga siswa lainnya, terlebih mereka dapat saling berbagi kesulitan selama kegiatan menulis. Tehnik ?mind mapping collaborative writing? dapat membantu siswa meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks deskriptif dan dapat memotivasi siswa untuk berperan aktif dalam kegiatan menulis. Tehnik ?mind mapping collaborative writing? disarankan untuk dapat digunakan dalam belajar menulis.Kata kunci: Belajar Menulis, Mind Mapping Collaborative Writing, Menulis Teks Deskriptif.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 28 Temedak Merat Kabupaten Sekadau. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dalam hal ini berupa tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian yaitu guru dan siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 28 Temedak Merat yang berjumlah 13 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi langsung dan pencermatan dokumen serta alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi (IPKG I dan IPKG II), dan hasil nilai tes siswa. Hasil silkus I tentang perencanaan pembelajaran diperoleh rata-rata 2,53 dan siklus II 3,05, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 0,52. Hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 2,47 dan siklus II 3,32, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 0,85. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 58,46 dan siklus II 83,46, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 25,00.   Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Matematika, Tipe Jigsaw Abstract: This study aimed to describe the planning, implementation, and student learning outcomes in mathematics using cooperative learning model jigsaw in class V State Elementary School 28 Temedak Merat Sekadau District. The method used is descriptive method, in this case a class action that was done 2 cycles. Research subjects that teachers and students of State Elementary School class V 28 Temedak Merat totaling 13 people. Data collection techniques is the technique of direct observation and scrutiny documents and data collection tool in the form of observation sheets (IPKG IPKG I and II), and the results of student test scores. Results of the learning plan silkus I gained an average of 2.53 and the second cycle of 3.05, an increase of 0.52. Results of the implementation of the first cycle of learning gained an average of 2.47 and the second cycle of 3.32, an increase of 0.85. Student learning outcomes in cycle I gained an average of 58.46 and 83.46 second cycle, an increase of 25.00. Keywords: Results Learning, Mathematics, Type Jigsaw

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil pembelajaran menyusun teks biografi menggunakan model project based learning pada siswa kelas VIIIC tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan bentuk penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, siswa kelas VIIIC sebanyak 36 siswa dan dokumen seperti RPP, IPKG I. IPKG II. Data berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus sebagai berikut. (1) persentase hasil perencanaan mengalami peningkatan, hasil siklus I yaitu 50,94% dan hasil siklus II yaitu 80,76%. (2) persentase hasil pelaksanaan mengalami peningkatan, hasil siklus I 55,5% dan hasil siklus II 85,48%. (3) hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian  rata-rata hasil nilai belajar siswa sebelum melakukan PTK yaitu 69,72. hasil menyusun teks siswa pada siklus I menggunakan project based learning mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata 76.29%, dan hasil nilai siklus II dengan rata-rata 78,42%.   Kata Kunci: keterampilan, teks biografi, project based learning Abstract: The purpose of research describes the planning, execution, and result of learning biography compose text using the model of project-based learning in grade VIIIC in academic year 2016/2017. The method used is descriptive method and form of research is classroom action research (PTK). The data source of this research is the teacher of Indonesian, VIIIC grade students were 36 students and documents such as lesson plans, IPKG I. IPKG II. The form of the data are qualitative and quantitative. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles as follows. (1) the percentage of planning has increased, the results of the first cycle is 50.94% and the second cycle is 80.76%. (2) the percentage of implementation has increased, the results of the first cycle of 55.5% and the second cycle of 85.48%. (3) the results obtained from the study average results of student learning value before PTK is 69.72. The text compose results of students in the first cycle using project based learning has increased by an average of 76.29%, and the results of the second cycle with an average of 78.42%. Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted to find out the effectiveness of two-stay two-stray (TSTS) technique to teach narrative text writing on the tenth grade students of SMA N 1 Seponti Jaya in academic year 2016/2017. The purposes of this research were to find out whether the use of Two-Stay Two-Stray Technique is effective or not to teach narrative text writing and to find out the effectiveness of Two-Stay Two-Stray Technique in improving the students’ writing achievement. The method used in this research was quasi-experimental study. The samples were taken from class B as the experimental group and class C as the control group by using cluster sampling. The data were collected by using measurement technique and the tool of data collecting was written test. Based on the calculation, the t-obtained was 14.55 where the degree of freedom was 2.021. It can be seen that the t-obtained was higher than the t-critical. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. The effectiveness of the treatment was found by calculating the effect size, and the result of the effect size was 2.91 that categorized as strong effect. Abstract

 AbstractThe objectives on this research is to review comprehension of basic economic concepts : 1) for analyze the comprehension  understanding of economics of high school students in class XI IPS in the subdistrict Tayan Hulu; 2) for analyze the comprehension  of human needs and scarcity of high school students in class XI IPS in the subdistrict Tayan Hulu; 3) for and analyze the comprehension of economic agents of high school students in class XI IPS in the subdistrict Tayan Hulu; 4) for analyze the comprehension  of demand, supply, and price of high school students in class XI IPS in the subdistrict Tayan Hulu. This reseach used descriptive methodology , in quantitatif reseach by survey studies.The population to aremounted to 109 students and the samples of the population amounted to 52 students of high school students in class XI IPS in the subdistrict Tayan Hulu district Sanggau.Results showed the following: 1) the comprehension understanding of economics on medium level with score 38% from all of respondens; 2) the comprehension  of human needs and scarcity on medium level with score 69% from all of respondens; 3) the comprehension of economic agents on low level with score 83% from all of respondens; 4) the comprehension  of demand, supply, and price on medium level with score 52% from all of respondens.Keywords: Comprehension, Basic Concepts, Economic

Abstract

AbstractThis thesis is entitled "the influence of the use of Time Token Cooperative learning models on Integrated Social Studies subjects in improving the learning outcomes of VIII grade students in SMP N 11 Pontianak". The problem in this study is whether the influence of the use of Time Token cooperative learning models on Integrated Social Studies subjects in improving the learning outcomes of VIII grade students in Pontianak N 11 Middle School? This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Time Token cooperative learning models on Integrated Social Studies subjects in improving the learning outcomes of VIII grade students in 11 SMP N Pontianak. The research method used is the experimental method with the form of nonequivalent control group design. The population amounted to 231 students, the selection of samples using purposive sampling technique, data collection tools in the form of tests namely pre-test and post-test. in the results of the study, the mean value of the post-test control class was 71.29 and the average results of the post-test experimental class 76. The results of the t-test revealed that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) at the pre-test value of 0.041 <0.05, and at the post-test value of 0.038 <0.05, thus it is known that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It was concluded that there were differences in student learning outcomes using the Time Token Cooperative learning model. with an acquired size of 2.08 which is relatively high.. Keywords: Influence, Cooperative Time Token, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

AbstractThe Effect of Educational Background on Pedagogic Competence of  High School Sociology Teacher in Pontianak. The problem in this research was "How Educational Background Influence the Pedagogic Competence of Senior High School Sociology Teacher in Pontianak". This research was conducted descriptively using quantitative form. The technique which was used in this raasearch was observation and documentation with data collection using observation and interview form. The results showed: 1) The background of education gave influence on pedagogic competence of senior high school sociology teachers in Pontianak, 2) The results indicated that sociology teacher with background S1 Education differ with sociology teacher with background Non-Education, 3) There was a significant influence of educational background on competence pedagogic of sociology teachers in Pontianak. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tahapan berpikir siswa kelas VIII SMP berdasarkan teori Van Hiele ditinjau dari gaya kognitif Field Dependent dan gaya kognitif Field Independent. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 27 siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Bawari Pontianak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes yang diberikan kepada subjek terpilih berdasarkan gaya kognitifnya. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field dependent khususnya pada gaya kognitif slightly field dependent berada pada tahap visualisasi/pengenalan (tahap 1) dan untuk gaya kognitif strongly field dependent berada pada tahap pra-analisis. Sedangkan siswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field independent khususnya gaya kognitif slightly field independent berada pada tahap pra-analisis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya kesamaan tahap berpikir antara gaya kognitif strongly field dependent dan slighly field independent.   Kata Kunci: Teori Van Hiele, Gaya Kognitif Abstract: This research aims to analyze the thinking levels of eighth grade students based on Van Hiele theory in terms of field dependent and field independent cognitive styles. This  research used qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this research were 27 eighth grade students of SMP Islam Bawari Pontianak. The data collection technique in this research was test method that was given to chosen subjects based on their cognitive style. The data analysis result showed that students with field dependent cognitive style especially on the slightly field dependent cognitive style were at visualization/recognition level (level-1) and on the strongly field dependent cognitive style were at pre-analysis level. Meanwhile students with field independent cognitive style especially on the slightly field independent cognitive style were at pre-analysis. This fact showed that there were similarities of thinking levels between strongly field dependent and slightly field independent cognitive styles. . Keywords: Van Hiele’s Theory, Cognitive Style

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of contextual teaching and learning approach on science learning outcomes of 4th grade students of Pontianak Kota 66 public elementary school. This research use experimental method with a quasi experimental form and nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study is all 4th grade students of Pontianak Kota 66 public elementary school totaling 65 students. The sampling technique uses nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling type. Data collection techniques use direct observation and measurement techniques. The research instrument used was a written test with multiple choice form. Based on data analysis result, average score post-test in the experimental class and the control class were 66,333 and 56,774. Result of t-test obtained tcount = 2,538 and ttable = 2,001 (? = 5%; db = 59). Because tcount (2,538) > ttable (2,001), its mean Ha accepted and H0 rejected. The effect size result is 0,638 with medium criteria. The conclusion in this study is that there is the effect the effect of contextual teaching and learning approach on science learning outcomes of 4th grade students of Pontianak Kota 66 public elementary school with medium criteria. Keyword   :   The Effect, Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach, Learning Outcomes, Natural Science

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know the effectiveness implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in learning arithmetic sequence and series material at class X of SMK. The method used in this study was a pre-experimental method with One-shot case study. The aspects used to determine effectiveness by application the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model was the implementation of learning by teachers in managing learning, student activities, and student learning outcomes. The data collection tool used is a test, student learning outcomes test which contains 6 essay questions, observation sheet of learning implementation of learning the teacher in managing learning, observation sheet of student activities, and research results data analyzed descriptively. It was found that the learning implementation process of learning by the teacher in managing learning was classified as good, namely (3.5). The activity of students is classified as active, which is equal to 64%. Classical learning completeness is not fulfilled, there are 25 students or 62.5%. Students who achieve the minimum completeness value, learning by application of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in arithmetic sequence and series material at class X of SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak are said to be ineffective.                   Keywords:  Arithmetic  Sequence And Series Material, Implementation of learning,   Project-Based Learning (PjBL) Model.
