Abstract

AbstractThis study with respect to the semantic field of marriage customs in particular terminology of traditional Javanese marriages procession in Rasau. Issues discussed this research is the namely terminology, component of meaning type, and semantic function. The purpose of this study describes the terminology of marriage customs. The method of this research was descriptive method. The form of this research was qualitative form. The sources data of this research was the Java language spoken by the informants form Rasau. The data of this research was the terminology of meaning field of traditional Javanese marriages procession in Rasau strating from pre-marriage, marriage, and post-marriage. The techniques of collecting data used dialogue, interview, record and notes with the data collection tool in the form of question list, list of pictures, recorder and recording card. Based on the analysis of the terminology of meaning field of traditional Javanese marriage procession in Rasau, there were 50 leksem terminology. Leksem in the pre-marriage were 15 leksem, leksem in the marriage were 30 leksem, and leksem in post-marriage were 5 leksem. The function of leksem is to explained the function of terminology starting from pre-marriage, marriage, and post-marriage.Keyword: Meaning field, Terminology, Traditional Javaneses

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the application of make a match learning model in improving learning outcomes of class X IIS SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental with a type of quantitative research. Sources of data in this study were students of class X IIS where class X IIS 1 amounted to 32 students as an experimental class and class X IIS 3 amounted to 32 as a control class. Data collection techniques using observation techniques and measurement techniques, while the data collection tools used are observation sheets and written tests in the form of multiple choices totaling 30 questions. Based on the results of the average value of the control class and experimental class has a difference. The results of the data calculation obtained the average value of the post-test control class was 54.85 while the average value of the post-test experimental class was 66.97. From the data it can be seen that the average post-test value is higher than the class control class. This shows that the application of the make a match learning model can improve student learning outcomes. This is also evidenced by the student learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class which has a difference of 12,123. Keywords: Make a match, learning outcom,  geografi learning

Abstract

Abstract The researcher chooses terminology as the focus of this research since terminology is a common thing in linguistic field. Menyadap Kelapa is becoming the object of this research because it has meaning that can be semantically investigated. The problems of this research are the inventory as well as lexical and cultural meaning. The purpose of this research is to describe the related problems. Significance of this research is for enriching the knowledge of both lexical and cultural meaning in linguistic field. This research is a descriptive research. The form of this research is qualitative descriptive. The source of the data is the activity of menyadap kelapa in Sambas Malay Dialect while the data is both lexical and cultural meaning. The technique of data collecting is conversing technique. The phases are inducing, interviewing, recording and noting. The result of the analysis of Terminology in Activity of Menyadap Kelapa in Sambas Malay Dialect is that; there are 43 lexical meanings including tools, materials, and activities. Cultural meanings consist of four kinds including myths and Pantang Larang. The findings of the research is hoped to be empowered in learning at school particularly as a supplementary material and media of Indonesian language lesson which are procedural and descriptive text. Keywords: Menyadap Kelapa, Sambas Malay dialect, Terminology

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Kendawangan pada materi koloid dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran role playing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan subyek siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Kendawangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan teknik pengukuran hasil belajar, observasi, dan wawancara. Tindakan penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus yang terdiri dari 4 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan terhadap aktivitas siswa dari 44.93% pada siklus I menjadi 55.13% pada siklus II dan hasil belajar siswa dari 47.82% pada siklus I  menjadi 88.46% pada siklus II. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas, Hasil Belajar dan Model Role Playing. Abstract: This study aims to improve the activity and results of students of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Kendawangan on colloidal material by using model role playing. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) with the subject of class XI IPA SMAN 1 Kendawangan. Data collection techniques used measurement techniques of learning outcomes, observation, and interviews. The action research was done 2 cycles consisting of 4 meetings. The results showed an increase in the student activity of 44.93% in the first cycle to 55.13% in the second cycle and student learning outcomes from 47.82% in the first cycle to 88.46% in the second cycle. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial menggunakan model cooperative learning tipe group investigation pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 26 Pontianak Tenggara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas, dan bersifat kolaboratif. Terdapat peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada siswa dari siklus pertama yaitu sebesar 45,64% kemudian meningkat pada siklus kedua menjadi 72,52%. Selisih peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada siswa dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua sebesar 26,88%. Dengan demikian, nilai rata-rata aktivitas pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 26 Pontianak Tenggara pada siklus pertama dapat dikategorikan cukup baik, kemudian pada siklus kedua dapat dikategorikan baik. Kata Kunci:     Aktivitas, Cooperative Learning Tipe Group Investigation Abstract: The aim of this research is to obtain the information about increasing the activity in learning social science, which is used cooperative learning through group investigation system on  fourth grade students of SD Negeri 26 Pontianak Tenggara. The method of this research is descriptive method, in form of classroom action research and collaborative. Hence, the increasing in social science learning activity in first cycle is 45,64%, then increased to 72,52% in  the second cycle. The enhancement of learning activity in the first cycle and the second cycle is 26,88%. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar dan faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap pada materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik triangulasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa siswa tidak mampu: 1) memberikan nama bagian tabung dan unsur-unsur kerucut. 2) mengingat rumus luas dan volume tabung, kerucut, dan bola. 3) menggunakan rumus luas dan volume tabung, kerucut, dan bola untuk menyelesaikan masalah. Hal ini disebabkan karena: a) siswa tidak pernah tertarik dengan bangun ruang sisi lengkung. b) guru tidak menggunakan alat peraga pada saat mengajar materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung. c) metode yang digunakan guru kurang bervariasi, guru hanya menjelaskan materi kemudian memberikan soal latihan. d) siswa tidak memperhatikan penjelasan guru sehingga mengalami kesulitan memahami materi. e) jika menemui kesulitan saat mengerjakan soal, siswa lebih memilih diam tanpa berusaha untuk mencari tahu.   Kata Kunci: Kesulitan Belajar, Bangun Ruang, Sisi Lengkung Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the difficulties in learning and the factors that cause of it to the 9th Grade students  of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap on material with curved edge. The method used descriptive method.  The data collection technique is using the technique of triangulation. From the results of the research were obtained the information that the students are not be able to: 1) giving the name of tube sections and the elements of the cone. 2) remind the formula for the area and the volume of the tube, cone and the ball. 3) using the formula for the area and volume tubes, cones and balls to resolve the problem. This is because: a) students are never interested with curved edge. b) teachers are not using a props when teaching material with curved edge. c) the method which used by the teacher less varied, the teachers only explain the material and then provide practice questions. d) students do not pay attention to the teacher's explanations so they have difficulty to understanding the material. e) if they have a problems during work on the tasks, students prefer to silence without trying to find out the answers. Abstract

Abstract: The research purpose was to improve students’ writing skill on personal recount text through peer assessment on the tenth grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak in academic year 2016/2017. The research subjects were the English teacher and 40 students of X MIA 2 class. The data were collected through field note, observation checklist, students’ and teacher’s interview, and students’ writing on personal recount text. The findings showed several improvements. First, the students’ were able to identify and assess their peer’s writing by giving comment and suggestion through peer assessment sheet as the guidance. Second, the students’ interactions between themselves were improved since they need to clarify the suggestions and comments to revise their writing. Third, the improvement of the students’ writing on personal recount text was proven by the increase of the mean score in each cycle. In the first cycle, the mean score was 72.5, in the second cycle the mean score was 81.85 and in the third cycle the mean score was 86.62. Since the mean score of each cycle increased, therefore this research showed peer assessment improved students’ writing skill on personal recount text. Keywords  : Peer Assessment, Writing Skill, Personal Recount Text Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks personal recount melalui penilaian sejawat terhadap siswa kelas X SMA 1 Muhammdiyah 1 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa inggris dan 40 siswa kelas X MIA 2. Pengumpulan data menggunakan catatan lapangan, observasi, interviu, dan tulisan teks personal recount siswa. Temuan penelitian menunjukan beberapa peningkatan. Pertama, siswa dapat mengidentifikasi dan menilai tulisan teman sejawat dengan memberikan komentar dan saran melalui lembar penilaian sejawat sebagai pedoman. Kedua, interaksi sesama siswa meningkat karena mereka perlu untuk mengkalifikasi saran dan komentar untuk memperbaiki tulisan mereka. Ketiga, peningkatan kemampuan menulis siswa dibuktikan oleh kenaikan nilai rata-rata siswa ditiap siklus. Pada siklus pertama, nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 72,5, kemudian mencapai 81.85 disikus kedua, dan meningkat menjadi 86.62 disiklus ketiga. Oleh karena nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini menunjukkan penilaian sejawat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa terhadap teks personal recount. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to reveal about the relief efforts that will be given to learners at SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya who often ditch. Method used was descriptive in form survey .The conclusion of this research is, in know that the characteristic of case subject is in three consecutive week not entering school without permission, the subject of the case has been through the process of guidance, the parent / guardian of the case subject has been through the process of calling and coming too late. Factors causing factors is the fear of being late and feeling lazy because it was not school in the previous day. The counseling model used to help the case subject is the REBT counseling model. The result of the change is that within a month the subject of the case is absent. The researcher's suggestion is that case subjects are expected to maintain and improve again the positive changes they have.Keywords: Case study, Trainee, Truant

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to describe the position of female characters, the forms of profeminism and the plan of the implementation of the research results of the novel of the Adolescent Virgin in Military Clutch by Pramoedya Ananta Toer in Indonesian Language and Literature Learning in Higher Education. This research is useful theoretically and practically. The theory used in this research is the understanding of novels, elements of novel builders, literary criticism, feminism, position of women, profeminisme, feminism culture, criticism of feminism literature, and literary learning.This research uses descriptive method, qualitative, with criticism approach of feminism literature. The source of the data is the Novel of the Perawan Remaja dalam Cengkeraman Militer by Pramoedya Ananta Toer's Military Clutches with data in the form of quotations that indicate the position of female characters and the forms of profeminism expounded in the words, phrases and sentences in the novel of the Perawan Remaja dalam Cengkeraman Militer by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Data collection techniques using indirect techniques, in the form of documentary techniques and data collection tools is the researcher himself as the main instrument. Techniques to test the validity of data using observational persistence, triangulation, reference adequacy, and peer review through discussion. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the effect of using snowball throwing model on the learning outcomes of Social Sciences fourth-grade students in SDN 68 Pontianak Barat. The research method used is an experiment with a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. 63 students has been the sample of this research. Data collection techniques use measurement techniques. Instruments used are observation sheets and test result learning. Based on the calculation obtained by mean of learning result of post-test of control class 61,9 and average result of experiment class study of experiment class 80,16 so obtained tcount of post-test data equal to 7,40582 with ttable for signification level α = 5 % and dk = 61 for 1.99967, because tcount (7,40582)> ttable (1.99967) then Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant influence of using snowball throwing model on the learning outcomes of Social Sciences of the fourth-grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 68 Pontianak Barat. From the calculated effect size (ES) is obtained at 1.33 (high criteria). It means the using snowball throwing model gives a high influence on the social science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of SDN 68 Pontianak Barat. Key words : influences, snowball throwing, learning outcomes, social science.
