Abstract

AbstractAn objective of this study was to investigate the effect of multiple representations approach in learning physics to the cognitive skills of students at SMA Negeri 1 Anjongan on momentum and impuls. The form of research used quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design. The saturation sampling technique was used to investigate the sample. The sample was two classes with one class as an experimental class and one class as a control class. This study used 5 question essays as an instrument to measure students’cognitive skills in the pretest-posttest while responses of student about multiple representations are used a questionnaire. The results of data showed that the increase in cognitive skillss of the experimental class students obtained N-Gain value of 0.44 which was categorized as moderate and in the control class the value of the N-Gain of 0.23 was categorized as low. The statistical test ( =-5.89) showed that there are differences in cognitive skills of students (α= 5%) between students who are given learning with a multiple representations approach and students who are given learning with the usual learning approach. Students gave high response  about the learning multiple representations with  a percentage of the total response 82.23%. Keywords: Cognitive Skills, Momentum And  Impuls, Multiple representations Approach

Abstract

Abstract This research is backgrounded by the uniqueness of Gisint and Bonsi musical instruments so that the researcher needs to examine the organology of the instruments. This study is aimed at describing the structures, the making process the way how to play the Gisint and Bonsi musical instrument in Bebukukng traditional ceremony of Linoh Dayak tribes of Sintang District. Qualitative descriptive method and organology approach were used in this study. The data in this research were obtained from field observation and interview with the informants who are expert in structure, making process, and playing the Gisint and Bonsi musical instrumental in Bebukukng traditional ceremony of Linoh Dayak Tribe of Sintang District. The data were analyzed qualitatively from the interviewees such as Mr Dandui, Mr Idi, Mr Apolonius Inci and several artists who understand about Bebukukng music, especially the organology of Gisint and Bonsi musical instrument in Bebukunkg traditional ceremony of Linoh Dayak Tribe of Sintang District. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that Gisint and Bonsi musical instruments are parts of a tradition, in which they are made from bamboo. The Gisint musical instrument is made from the dried bamboo stem with the size of an adult people’s arm, as well as Bonsi musical instrument is made from one segment of bamboo stick with the size of an adult’s thumb. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang menggunakan model problem based instruction (PBI) dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional pada pembelajaran materi redoks dan besarnya pengaruh penggunaan model  PBI terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi redoks. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 1 dan X MIPA 2 MAN 2 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian “nonequivalent control group design”. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan terdiri dari tes pemahaman konsep yang terdiri dari pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan analisis statistik dengan uji U-Mann Whitney diperoleh Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang menggunakan model PBI  dengan siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional. Model PBI juga memberikan pengaruh sebesar 33,89% terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa. In addition to this study, the purpose was also to determine the extent of effect of PBI model to conceptual understanding of students. Two classes from grade X MAN 2 Pontianak participated in this study. Non equivalent control group design of quasi-experimental was the study design. The conceptual understanding test and interview guideline were used to collect data. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the influence of site-based chemistry learning on the study results of chemistry class of 10 grade students. Based on the field observations, there are lack of utilization of information technology to help the learning process, thus, if supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure, it is appropriate to use the use of information technology in this case Chemistry sites-based learning to help the process of study for the high school students of grade 10th on chemistry Stoichiometry material. This research was conducted in SMA Santo Paul Pontianak in the first semester of 2017/2018. The  esearchmethod used is quasi experiment with Nonequivalent Kontrol Group Design research design. Instrument used to measure the learning outcomes is a multiple choice test conducted before (pre-test) and after giving treatment (post-test). The analysis of post test data from both groups using t-test and obtained value of .sig 0.005 <0.05. It can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected which means there are significant differences to the learning outcomes in the experimental class and control class.Keywords : site-based chemistry, website, the study results, Stoichiometry

Abstract

Abtraks : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah  : (1) untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar  sehingga berbasis daya komunikasi matematis, (2)untuk mengkaji kreativitas dalam menyelesaikan masalah masalah setelah menggunakan bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Reaseach and Development. Data diperoleh dengan cara: (1)menyusun kembali (Reorganisasi) buku teks menggunakan format bahan ajar berbasis daya komunikasi, (2) memberikan soal tes melalui uji terbatas dan uji secara luas kepada siswa. Hasil: (1)bahan ajar berbasis daya komunikasi, (2)bahan ajar dalam memecahkan masalah dapat ditemukan pada aspek kreativitas. Kesimpulan bahan ajar yang berkomunikasi tinggi dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dalam memecahkan masalah. Rekomendasi buku teks perlu di reorganisasi kembali untuk tujuan-tujuan tertentu.   Kata kunci: Daya Komunikasi Matematis, Kreativitas, Pemecahkan Masalah   Abrack :This research is aim get (1) develop teaching materials so that the power based mathematical of communication (2)assess creativity in problems solving after using teaching materials that have been developed. This reserch used the approach of Research and Development. The data obtained by (1)reorganization  textbook based teaching materials using the format of communication of power, (2)provide test questions through a limited test and test extensively to students. In order to obtain results(1) teaching materials based mathematical communication power,  (2) teaching materials in problems solving can found in the aspect of creativity. Conclusion teaching materials that communicate can increase creativity in problems solving. Abstract

Abstract.The background of this research was to document Jepin Tembung dance accompaniment in Pontianak. The general problem contained in this resarch was: What is the description of Jepin Tembung dance accompaniment in Pontianak? The objectives o this research were: 1) Descriptions of Pontianak Jepin Tembung Dance accompaniment, 2) Descriptions of Poetry Melody in Pontianak Jepin Tembung Dance accompaniment, 3) Descriptions of Selodang Melody in Pontianak Jepin Tembung Dance accompaniment, 4) Descriptions of Marwas Rhythm Pattern in Pontianak Jepin Tembung Dance Accompaniment, 5) Descriptions of Implementation that will be used in teaching and learning activities in schools.Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that Jepin Tembung Music accompaniment in Pontianak has a music component and foming characteristics and forms of modern music in general. The results of this study are in the form of accompaniment sheet music of Jepin Tembung Dance. There are poetic, selodang, marwas, violin, and accordion sheet music. This research is expected to stimulate the growth of interest in learning traditional music, especially Jepin traditional music, and more especially the accompaniment of Jepin Tembung Dance in Pontianak. Keywords: Jepin Music, Pontianak Jepin Tembung, Musicology

Abstract

Abstrak. Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini karena saat perdebatan berlangsung banyak produksi kalimat yang diujarkan seorang politisi merujuk kepada jenis tindak tutur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tindak tutur komisif dalam debat Pilkada Kabupaten Sambas tahun 2015. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini digunakan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa dalam debat Pilkada Kabupaten Sambas tahun 2015 terdapat 67 tindak tutur komisif dalam bentuk menawarkan atau mengusulkan, berjanji, dan bernazar. Tindak tutur komisif menawarkan atau mengusulkan dalam debat Pilkada Kabupaten Sambas tahun 2015 berjumlah 19 tuturan. Tindak tutur komisif berjanji dalam debat Pilkada Kabupaten Sambas tahun 2015 berjumlah 47 tuturan. Tindak tutur komisif bernazar dalam debat Pilkada Kabupaten Sambas tahun 2015 berjumlah 1 tuturan. Kata Kunci: Tuturan Komisif (Menawarkan, Berjanji, Bernazar), Debat Abstract. The background of this research because when the debate were going on, there are many utterances those are producted by the politicians that refers to the speech acts. The aim of this study was to describe commissive speech acts of Election Debate in Sambas Regency Year 2015. The method in this researchis qualitative research. Based on the results of data analysis that found in Sambas RegencyElection Debate in 2015, there are 67 commissivespeech acts that in the form of offer or propose, promised, and made the vow. The offer or propose commissive speech acts of Sambas Regency Election Debate in 2015 are amounted to 19 utterances. Promised commissive speech act of Sambas Regency Election Debate in 2015 are amounted to 47 utterances. The vow commissive speech actof Sambas Regency Election Debate in 2015is amounted to 1 utterance. Abstract

Abstrak: This research is motivated by the asumptions about the history of musical instrument with accompaniment of Jepin dance in Pontianak city. To investigate it, this research was focused into two aspects: (1)  the historical aspect of the inclusion of violin musical instrument with accompaniment of Jepin dance in Pontianak city (2) the development aspect of violin musical instrument in the accompaniment of Jepin dance. This research is uses descriptive method with a form of qualitative research and historical approach. The results of this research being presented cover a few things: (1) the inclusion of violin musical instrument with accompaniment of Jepin dance in Pontianak city occured since 1950-1965 (2) the development of violin musical instrument in the accompaniment of Jepin dance occured since 1950-1995. The inclusion of violin musical instrument with accompaniment of Jepin dance in Pontianak city occured since two periods: 1950-1957 and 1958-1965, while development was in two periods: 1950-1969 and 1970-1995. Abstrak: Latarbelakang penelitian ini adalah adanya berbagai dugaan mengenai sejarah alat musik violin dalam musik iringan Tari Jepin di Kota Pontianak. Untuk mengungkap hal tersebut, dirumuskan fokus penelitian ini sebagai berikut: (1) aspek sejarah masuknya alat musik violin dalam musik iringan Tari Jepin di Kota Pontianak (2) aspek perkembangan alat musik violin dalam musik iringan tari Jepin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriftif dengan bentuk penelitian Kualitatif dan pendekatan Historis. Hasil penelitian ini mencakup beberapa hal yaitu; (1) masuknya alat musik violin dalam musik iringan Tari Jepin di Kota Pontianak terjadi tahun 1950-1965 (2) perkembangan alat musik violin dalam musik iringan Tari Jepin di Kota Pontianak terjadi tahun 1950-1995. Masuknya alat musik violin dalam musik iringan tari Jepin di Kota Pontianak terjadi selama dua priode yaitu tahun 1950-1957 dan 1958-1965, sedangkan perkembangannya terjadi pada dua periode pula yaitu : 1950-1969 dan 1970-1995. Kata kunci: Penelusuran Sejarah, Alat Musik Violin, dan Musik Iringan Tari Jepin.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine whether remedial learning which use matrix calculator can improve students’ conceptual understanding ability in matrix operation in grade XI SMAN 4 Pontianak. The research method is quantitative with pre-experimental form of research. The subject of research is grade XI SMAN 4 Pontianak. The object of the research is conceptual understanding ability of students in the operation matrix. Data obtained from the results of pretest and posttest to see students' conceptual understanding abilities. The data analysis showed that the conceptual understanding ability increased 34%. The increase is happened in each indicators conceptual understanding ability as follows: 1) the ability to mention examples and and non-examples of concepts increased 11%; 2) the ability to use, utilize and choose certain procedures or operations increased 43%; and 3) the ability to develop the terms or rules of a concept increased 39%.Keywords: Conceptual Understanding, Operation Matrix, Matrix Calculator

Abstract

AbstractProblems were students at the time of passing over find it difficult to learn because of the standard ball, a lack of means at the time of study and the absence of modification of the tool when learning volleyball. The purpose of this study to determine the increase in passing on the plastic ball media on the remaining fourth grade at SDN 05 Senakin. The method used is classroom action research methods. The subject is the fourth grade students at SDN 05 Senakin 27 learners. Based on the results of the study in the first cycle has been completed there were 13 people (48.2%) and 14 (51.8%) of students who have not completed. While on the second cycle, the students numbering 27 people (100%) of students that have been completed, which means no more students who have not completed the passing of learning on volleyball.Keywords: Passing Over, Media Ball Plastics
