Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is: To get information about the increased ethics pray through the story with pictures media in children aged 5-6 years in RA. Nurul Muslimin Kubu Raya Sungai Raya. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The method used is descriptive method with the form of classroom action research study. Sources of data in this study is numbered 23 children. The collection of data by using data and observation guidelines. Based on the research that has been done: 1) Planning of learning undertaken by teachers in improving ethics pray through the story with media images of children aged 5-6 years in RA. Nurul Muslimin Kubu Raya Sungai Raya has been planned very well, 2) Implementation of the learning undertaken by teachers in improving ethics pray through the story with media images of children aged 5-6 years in RA. Nurul Muslimin Kubu Raya Sungai Raya has been performing very well, 3) Having given the story by drawing increased media ethics pray in children aged 5-6 years in RA. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine teacher skills in learning in RA Kebun Ilmu Sanggau Ledo.. This study uses descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection tools are interview guidelines, reporting and documentation. The results of the study show in skills and learning, the teacher performs the opening and closing activities of learning well. While the skill of explaining or explaining learning, the teacher has the ability to explain the material or use the media and explain clearly. Questioning skills in learning, the teacher has used clear and concise questions, the teacher also involves as many children as possible in ongoing learning. The skill to provide assistance in the lesson, the teacher is sufficient in giving encouragement, the teacher gives praise or defends to the child by verbal, not verbal, approach, giving good things or fun activities. The skills that are carried out in the classroom, the teacher has good skills, the teacher is visual or verbal visualization for the students of learning, the teacher explains to the students. Teacher Skills Hold Variations in Learning, the teacher has good enough skills, the teacher carries out various learning activities the teacher gives different activities. Skills to guide small group discussions, the teacher has the mind in a small group discussion well, the teacher focuses on the objectives and topics of discussion, the teacher leads the discussion to explain it. Skills to teach small groups and individuals in the lesson, the teacher has good skills in teaching small groups and individuals, the teacher shows warmth and sensitivity to the needs of children both in small groups and individuals, the teacher always listens simply to what children say in the lesson, the teacher also builds a trusting relationship in the child, the teacher responds positively to each child's opinion. Keywords: Teaching Skills, Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the cause of the low learning outcomes of students who live with others on the economic subjects of grade X High School Graduation Pontianak. The method used in this research is to use qualitative research approach method. Sources of data in this study were all students of Grade X High School Graduation Pontianak who lived with other people amounted to 26 students. Data collection techniques are direct observation techniques, direct communication and documentary study techniques. While the data collection tool is the interview guide, observation sheet and triangulation. Data processing techniques using qualitative analysis techniques. Results of research based on interviews and observations and then analysis. It can be concluded that the cause of the low learning outcomes of students living with other people in the economic subjects of grade X High School Graduation Pontianak is from Factors with the following aspects: (1) Mental and physical readiness, (2) Presence, ( 3) Level of intelligence, (4) Student attitude, (5) Student talent, (6) Student interest, (7) Student motivation, (8) School environment, (9) School building situation and location, (10) learning, (11) weather condition and student's learning time in school, (12) Lack of cost, (13) Lack of study time, (14) Fatigue factor. From the results of interviews with teachers and students and from the results of observation can be concluded that students who live with others cause low student learning outcomes. Keywords: Low Learning Results of Students Living With Others On Economic Subjects

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan teknik talking chips dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional dan menentukan besarnya pengaruh teknik talking chips terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi koloid kelas XI IPA SMA Panca Bhakti Pontianak. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasy eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes hasil belajar, angket motivasi dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji U-Mann-Whitney menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan teknik talking chips dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik talking chips memberikan pengaruh sebesar 23,57% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Teknik Talking Chips, Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar Abstract : The purpose of this research is to determine differences in motivation and learning outcomes of students who were taught by using talking chips technique with the students who were taught by  using the conventional learning and to determine effect of talking chips technique on student learning outcomes in colloidal material. Samples were selected based on purposive sampling technique. The form of this research is quasy experimental with nonequivalent control group design. Instruments that used are test, motivation questionnaire and interview guides. The result of data analysis using U-Mann-Whitney test showed that there were differences in motivation and learning outcomes of students who were taught by using talking chips technique with the students who were taught by  using the conventional learning. Abstract

AbstractThe research was aimed at discovering the effect of vocabulary journal on students? vocabulary achievement on the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Keramat in academic year 2016/2017. This research was pre-experimental research with one group pre-test post-test design. The population of this research was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Keramat in academic year 2016/2017 with the total number of students were 131 students and the sample of the research was class VIII B which consisted of 33 students. The measurement technique was employed to collect the data. Based on the result of the hypothesis testing as well as analysis of the effect size, the use of vocabulary journal has a strong effect in teaching vocabulary on descriptive text in SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Keramat. Vocabulary journal enabled the students to learn vocabulary actively, made the students more aware of learning vocabulary, and it can be used to review the material. It was indicated by the improvement of the students? vocabulary achievement after getting three times treatments by the implementation of vocabulary journal. Referring to research finding, the researcher recommends this technique to be implemented, especially in teaching vocabulary. Keywords: Vocabulary Journal, Teaching Vocabulary, Vocabulary Achievement.

AbstractOvercoming the Sustainability of Children's Education in Piawas Village, Belimbing Hulu Subdistrict, Melawi Regency. The method used was descriptive method. The form of research is a case study.The results of the study are as follows: 1) Preventive measures taken by parents to overcome the Sustainability of Child Education in Piawas Village in Belimbing Hulu Subdistrict, Melawi Regency The income of parents in Piawas Village, Belimbing Hulu Subdistrict, Melawi Regency, in this case parents can pay special attention to their children such as giving advice to children related to the impact of not attending school, as well as providing motivation to children to continue their education, even though in difficult circumstances, still maintain more communication in order to understand the condition of the child. 3) Repressive efforts by parents to overcome the Sustainability of Children's Education in Piawas Village, Belimbing Hulu Subdistrict, Melawi District. What kind of development is for children who drop out of school. Efforts in the form of being given advice to children with the aim that the condition is back in conducive again and the child does not repeat his actions not to continue his education. Keyword :Parents' Efforts, Overcoming the Sustainability of Children's Education

Abstract

AbstractResearchers want to know the implementation of individual counseling by guidance and counseling teachers for truant learners. Research problem is "how is the implementation of individual counseling by guidance and counseling teachers to truant students at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya”. The purpose of study was to obtain information and describe the implementation of individual counseling by guidance and counseling teachers to truant students at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya. Method used was descriptive quantitative approach in form survey. Population research was 23 students and 2 teachers guidance and counseling. Data collection technique used was indirect communication of questionnaires and documentation studies. Data analysis technique used was percentage. Overall the implementation of individual counseling by guidance and counseling teachers to truant students obtained a 59% good enough category. The stage defining the problem of individual counseling by the guidance and counseling teacher to truant students obtained a 56% good enough category. The work phase of individual counseling by guidance and counseling teachers for truant students was obtained by 60% good enough category. The stage of individual counseling by the guidance and counseling teacher to truant students obtained a 62% good enough category. Keywords: Individual Counseling, Truant

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to investigate the factors influencing students? English listening comprehension on the eleventh grade students of SMAN 10 Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015.The writer applied a case study in this research. The samples of this research are 60 students (26 females and 34 males) out of 217 students as population, taken randomly from 6 classes (3 sciene classes and 3 social classes). The data was collected by using questionnaire, and analyzed by using SPSS. The result of this research showed that the main factor influencing students? English listening comprehension was vocabulary. The lack of vocabulary caused other problems, such as hard to follow the speed of speaker, not ready to listen the conversation, vocabulary that speaker used was hard, hard to differentiate the homophone words, not interested to listen to English conversation, hard to get the information from the speaker, the topic of conversation felt hard and dislike of the topic of conversation. Peneliti menerapkan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Sampel penelitian ini 60 siswa (26 laki ? laki ? dan 34 perempuan) dahri total populasi 217 siswa, yang diambil secara acak dari 6 kelas (3 kelas IA dan 3 Kelas IS). Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS.  Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa factor utama yang mempengaruhi kemampuan mendengar Bahasa Inggris siswa adalah kosakata. Kurangnya kosakata mengakibatkan masalah lainnya seperti, kesulitan mengikuti kecepatan pembicara, ketidaksiapan mendengar percakapan, kosakata sulit yang digunakan pembicara, kesulitan membedakan kata yang bersifat homofon, ketidaktertarikan mendengar dalam Bahasa Inggris, kesulitan memperoleh informasi dari pembicara, topic pembicaraan terasa berat dan ketidaktertarikan terhadap topic pembicaraan. Abstract

AbstractThis study examined the semiotics of the mantra or curing spells on children of the Sambas Malay community. Mantra is a type of oral literature or old literature that has faded among society due to developments over time. This study focused on identifying the symbol and meaning in the mantra, especially the mantra for treating diseases on children in the Sambas Malay society, Makrampai village, Sambas Regency. This study aims to describe the symbol, meaning of the mantra, and its implementation into teaching and learning. This semiotic study was carried out with reference to the theory of Ferdinand The Saussure, and was conducted by applying a qualitative method of which the discussion was presented descriptively from the analysis there are 22 symbols used in the mantra. The mantras are of 18 meanings in which overall have the religious, social, and personality meaning. Accordingly, the results can be used to develop a text or material which can be used in basic competencies 3.7 in the grade Indonesian subjects in subjects in semester 1 the 2013 curriculum.Keywords: curing spells children, Makrampai village, semiotic

Abstract

AbstractThis research is entitled ?The Use of Hand Puppet in Teaching Narrative Text?. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the use of hand puppet affects significantly or not to the students? ability in speaking narrative textand to find the effect size of hand puppet in affect students? ability in speaking narrative text.In conducting this research, the writer applied pre-experimental research using one sample group. The population of this research was Eighth grade of Junior High School 4 Sungai Raya academic year 2018/2019, and the sample was taken from the students of class 8B that consist of 29 students.Furthermore, the research indicated that the effect size (0.93) was categorized as high. The calculation of t-obtained (26.51) was higher than t-table (2,048). In conclusion, the alternate hypothesis ?The use of hand puppet affects significantly to the students? ability in speaking narrative text? was accepted and the null hypothesis ?The use of hand puppet does not affect significantly to the students? ability in speaking narrative text? was rejected.  Key words: Hand Puppet, Narrative Text, Teaching Narrative
