Abstract

AbstractThis research is conducted to describes availability and utility of learning resources, to know study result and relation between resources utilization and study result in student of X social class in SMAN 9 Pontianak. This research used descriptive method with formed correlation study. The research populationconsisted of 142 students, from four class with the sample are 58 students. Data in this research is resources utilization and study result student data, there are mean of exam daily value in even semester in 2017/2018. Data aggregation method that used is direct observation, indirect communication, and study documenter. Tools that used to aggregating data is observation guidelines, inquiry or questionnaire and documentation. Analysis data method that used is with condition analysis and hypothesis. Due to research mean result about utilization of study resources is about 71.62 or 55.95%, and mean study result of student is about 73.83. This result rxycount calculated about 0.73 (X Social 1 and Social 2 Classes) and 0.54 (X Social 3 and Social 4 Classes) with rtable (significant level about 5% and free degree=27) is 0.367 with means are rxycount (0.73)> rtable(0.367) and rxycount (0.54)> rtable(0.367) where due to that result make ha accepted. This mean there are relation between utilization of study resources and study result in geography studies in X class at SMAN 9 Pontianak.Keyword: study resources utilization, geography exam study result

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aimed to improve students? learning outcomes abaout vibration and wave by applying the group investigation (GI) model. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a non equivalent control group design research design. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak by involving class VIII F with a total of 32 students. Data retrieval of the independent tests, 10 multiple choice questions and 3 essay questions. Based on the result of the independent test sample t N-gain test using SPSS 23 obtained 2-tailed sig of 0.866>0.05 so that Ha is accepted, which means there are differences in learning outcomes between students who are given chances to learn using group investment model compared to the conventional learning, research shows that  an increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of group investigation model is seen from the acquisition of the average score of each material indicator with an increase of 0.8. the group investigation model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in vibration and wave with effect size 2.17 (classified as high). The result of this study are expected to be an alternative in an effort to improve student learning outcomes about vibration and waves. Keyword: Group investigation model, leraning outcomes, vibration and wave.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengembangan profesionalisme guru yang dilihat dari jumlah anak dalam dua tahun terakhir mengalami kemajuan yang sangat pesat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sedangkan teknik pengecekan keabsahan data yang peneliti gunakan adalah triangulasi dan member check. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan: 1) Perencanaan pengembangan profesionalisme guru oleh kepala sekolah Taman Kanak-kanak Pembina Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya yaitu guru merencanakan program dengan mengadakan rapat yang melibatkan seluruh dewan guru, staf dan komite sekolah, 2) Pelaksanaan pengembangan profesionalisme guru oleh kepala sekolah di Taman Kanak-kanak Pembina Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya, KKG dan PPG (penatara) serta supervisi dilaksanakan sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah disepakati bersama.   Kata Kunci: Profesionalisme Guru, Kepala Sekolah Abstract: This research aims to enhance the professional development of teachers as seen from the number of children in the last two years experienced a very rapid progress .The method used in this study uses qualitative research with case study methods. Data analysis techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion. While the technique of checking the validity of the data is that researchers use triangulation and member checks.The results of this study can be concluded: 1) Planning professional development of teachers by principals kindergarten Pembina River Kingdom Kubu Raya district that teachers plan a program to hold meetings involving the entire board of teachers, staff and school committee, 2) The professional development of teachers by principals in kindergarten Pembina River District Kubu Raya Raya, KKG and PPG (penatara) and supervision carried out in accordance with an agreed schedule.   Keywords: Professional Teacher, Principal

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to analyze whether there is a correlation between reading interest with essay writing narrative skills Indonesian of fifth grade students Elementary School 08 Sungai Kakap.This research uses descriptive method with research form correlation study. The population in this study were all students of class V Elementary School School 08 Sungai Kakap consisting of two classes, is V A and V B amounted to 67 students.Based on the analysis of students' reading interest overall 6871 or with the percentage of 85.56% and the results of analysis of essay writing narrative skills overall for 4775 with an average of 71.26. The result of calculation of correlation coefficient is known that r_(xy) is 0,380 while r _tabel with significant level 5% for N = 67 and db (degrees of freedom) = N-2 = 67-2 = 65 is 0,244. Thus r_(xy)> r_(table) or 0.380> 0.244. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between reading interest with essay writing narrative skill.Keywords :Riding interest and composition, Essay writing narrative skill

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of giving learning materials to remediate students' misconceptions on straight-moving material change regularly in class X SMAK Abdi Wacana Pontianak. The method used is pre experimental Design with the design of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The sample used in this study amounted to 24 students of SMAK Abdi Wacana Pontianak academic year 2017/2018 who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The data collection tool used is a multiple choice test with an open reason consisting of 10 questions. The results showed that the average percentage of students who experienced misconceptions decreased by 30%. McNemar test results obtained on average 2 Calculate (12.3) ˃ χ2Table (3.84) for db = 1 and α = 5% so that there was a significant conceptual change after remediation using the Wondering Learning Model - Exploring- Explaining Assisted Media Technology Information and Communication. The result of the effect size is obtained, which is 3.9 (high category). The results of this study are expected to be used as an alternative remediation activity for students who have learning difficulties  Keywords:  Wondering - exploring- explaining, information and communication technology, straight motion.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam menanamkan disiplin pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Pertiwi 1 Pontianak Barat. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 5 orang guru yang mengajar di kelas B. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa peran yang dilakukan guru dalam menanamkan disiplin pada anak cukup baik dimana guru menanamkan jenis disiplin pada kegiatan tertentu, metode yang digunakan beraneka ragam. Guru melaksanakan peran mulai dari kegiatan datang ke sekolah, menyiapkan peralatan yang mendukung kegiatan disiplin, memotivasi anak, serta memberikan sikap keteladanan bagi anak.   Kata Kunci : Peran Guru, Disiplin AUD     Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe role of teacher in imparting discipline on children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Pertiwi 1 Pontianak West. A method of this research is descriptive by adopting both qualitative. Sample of this study is the five people who of the teachers in the class B. Results of the analysis of the data indicate that the role of which is done teachers in imparting discipline on child good enough where teachers imparting kind of discipline in a particular activity, methods used variegated. Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted to design E-PON; an electronic presentation as a teaching and learning media of narrative text. The purpose of this research is to find out whether or not E-PON as the supplementary teaching media is useable to teach narrative text in twelfth grade students of senior high school. The form of this research is developmental research. This developmental research was conducted to produce innovate teaching material. The method of this research consists of four phases namely analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing or called ADDI. The designed product was completed by combining West Kalimantan’s local story with the electronic presentation to teach narrative text. The E-PON was designed for about 45 minutes. The completed research was implemented in the first semester of twelfth grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Sambas. There were 35 students who actively involved in this research. To sum up, it is found that E-PON is usable for teaching narrative text in twelfth grade students of senior high school.Keywords: Development Research, E-PON, Narrative Text

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini secara umum untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan interpersonal terhadap kelancaran tugas kelompok pada mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan tahun 2014 di Universitas Tanjungpura. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode asosiatif, dengan menggunakan angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keterampilan interpersonal mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan tahun 2014 berada dalam kategori cukup baik dengan hasil persentase indikator terbesar sebanyak 63%. Kelancaran tugas kelompok pada mata kuliah kewirausahaan mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan tahun 2014 juga berada dalam rentang cukup baik dengan jumlah persentase indikator terbesar sebanyak 77%. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara keterampilan interpersonal dengan kelancaran tugas kelompok pada mata kuliah kewirausahaan mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan tahun 2014 sebesar 14,1%. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan formulasi Y = 2,062 + 0,372X.   Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Interpersonal, Kelancaran Tugas Kelompok Abstract: Generally, the aim of this study is to find out the effect of interpersonal skill to the fluency activity of students group work assignments on Economic education study program students year 2014 at Tanjungpura University. This study used associative method, which is using questionnaires, interviews, and documentary technique. Te result shown that studentsinterpersonal skill is categorised as good to average with the precentage of 63%. The fluency activity of students group work assignments are as well as in the range of good to average, which is about 77%. As the result, there is positive effect between interpersonal skill and the fluency activity of students group work assignmentswith the precentage 14,1%. Abstract

AbstractThe main problem of this research is concerning the process of natural science learning focusing on the standards of competency of energy and its change (electricity subject) which is still conventionally taught. The main purpose of this research is to examine the extent to which Adobe Flash can improve students’ learning outcome. The design of this research is  “One-Group Pretes-Posttest (O1 X O2) with observation and documentation used as data collection techniques. The analysis results show that: 1). The average score of pretest of learning energy and its change with adobe flash is 64 meaning that it is still far below the minimum passing score (70); 2). The average score of posttest of learning energy and its change with adobe flash is 92.33 meaning that it is far above the minimum passing score (70); 3). The range between pretest and posttest of learning energy and its change with adobe flash is 28,33. In other words, the posttest score is higher than that of the pretest. This also indicates that using adobe flash media could result in better learning outcomes for students, especially in learning about energy and its change. Next, effect size calculation yields the score of  2,04 and can be categorized as very high. In conclusion, the use of adobe flash media is highly effective for improving students’ learning outcomes. Keywords: Adobe Flash, Learning, Learning Outcome

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan efektivitas remediasi menggunakan metode quick feedback dengan rainbow card dalam menurunkan jumlah peserta didik yang  miskonsepsi pada materi hukum Archimedes di kelas VIII  MTs Negeri Semparuk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design yang melibatkan 67 peserta didik terdiri dari 35 peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan 32 peserta didik kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh penurunan persentase jumlah miskonsepsi tiap peserta didik dengan rata-rata 86,9% untuk kelas eksperimen dan 15,08% untuk kelas kontrol. Penurunan persentase jumlah peserta didik yang miskonsepsi tiap konsep dengan rata-rata sebesar 82,22% untuk kelas eksperimen dan 19,54% untuk kelas kontrol. Penerapan metode quick feedback dengan rainbow card efektif menurunkan jumlah peserta didik yang miskonsepsi sebesar 1,87 (tinggi). Sehingga remediasi menggunakan metode quick feedback dengan rainbow card diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk memperbaiki miskonsepsi peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran.   Kata kunci: Remediasi, Miskonsepsi Fisika, Quick feedback, Rainbow card Abstract: This study aims to determine effetiveness remediation using quick feedback methode with rainbow card to reduce student misconception on archimedes’s law in VIII class MTs Negeri Semparuk. The research method used is quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design that involve 67 student consist of 35 student for experiment class and 32 student for control class. The percentage decrease student which misconception each student with average 86,9% for the experiment class and 15.08% for the control class. The percentage decrease student which misconception each concept with average 82,22% for the experiment class and 19.54% for the control class. Aplication quick feedback methode with rainbow card effective to reduce student misconception on archimedes’s law as big as 1,87 (high). With the result that remediation using quick feedback methode with rainbow card can be use as an alternatif to repaired student misconception on learning process.   Keywords: Remediation, Physics Misconception, Quick feedback, Rainbow card
