Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research was “How does the effect of model cooperative learning type of student teams achivement devisions assisted by audio media toward to the listening skills of childrens stories of fifth grade student of Public Elementary School 10 Pontianak Timur ?”. the model used in this study was an experimental method to form the study was Quasi Experimental Design, with experimental design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used non probability sampling with purposive sampling type. Data collection tools used in the form of learning outcomes document and of a written objective-shaped test with 45 questions. Based on statistical calculations of the final test experimental class average of 71,06 and learning results of final test control class 60,42, the final test data was obtained at 4,551 and (α = 5% dan dk 35 + 25 – 2 = 58) amounting to 1,672, because (4,551) > (1,672), from the calculation of the effect size (ES), was obtained at 0,9689 (big criteria). Then Ha is received. This means that the use model cooperative learning type of student teams achivement devisions assisted by audio media has a high influence on the listening skills of childrens stories of fifth grade Public Elementary School 10 Pontianak Timur . Keyword: Audio Media, Cooperative Learning, Student Team Achivement Divisions, The Listening Skills of Childrens Stories

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian tindakan kelas ini  bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa  pada materi fluida statis dengan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik di kelas XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. Subjek yang digunakan kelas XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak dengan jumlah siswa 31 orang. Siswa secara keseluruhan berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran materi fluida statis melalui diskusi kelompok berdasarkan masalah yang didapat. Dari hasil penelitian pada siklus I rata-rata ketuntasan siswa sebesar 88% dengan nilai rata-rata 75,55 dan pada siklus II sebesar 90% dengan nilai rata-rata 83,52, maka peningkatan hasil belajar siswa adalah sebesar 7,97. Dengan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sesuai dengan yang diinginkan dari hasil penelitian serta pendekatan saintifik diharapkan dapat digunakan pada materi fisika yang lain untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Saintifik, hasil belajar,  fluida statis Abstract : this classroom action research aims to improve student learning outcomes in a static fluid material using a scientific approach in class XI IPA 4 SMAN 5 Pontianak. Subject who used class XI IPA 4 SMAN 5 Pontianak with the number of studets 31. Overall student participates actively in the learning process static fluid material through a group discussion based on the issues that come by. Form the result of the study in the first cycle the average completeness of students by 88% with an average value of 75,55 and the second cycle of 90% with an average value of 83,52, the improvement of student learning outcomes is of 7,97. With these result it can be concluded that the scientific approach can improve student learning outcomes in accordance with the desired result of research and scientific opproach is expected to be used in the material physics else to improve student learning outcomes. Abstract

 AbstractThis research aims to determine the effectiveness of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning models to reducing students' misconceptions about straight-line motion with constant velocity (GLB) in grade 7th of SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya. This research used pre-experiment design method with one group pre-test post-test design. Intact group was used as sampling technique with number of sample is 28 students. Data collected using measurement technique by collecting the results of pre-test and post-test. The research found that students experienced misconceptions on all indicators. There was a significant change in the number of misconceptions before and after remediation using the TPS learning model (Wilcoxon Test analysis results). There was a significant change in the indicators of identification of GLB characteristics, while there is no significant change in the indicators of differences in distance and displacement in one-dimensional motion and two-dimensional motion, differences in speed and velocity, definition of GLB, and determining the v-t graph in GLB (Mc Nemar Test analysis results). Remediation using TPS learning model effective to reducing students' misconceptions about GLB (ES = 1.41). This research expected to be used as reference for further research, especially alternatives in the selection of learning models.Keywords: Misconception, Remediation, Straight-Line Motion with Constant Velocity                 (GLB), Think Pair Share.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar lempar lembing dengan media pembelajaran lempar turbo pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 19 Serirang Kabupaten Sekadau. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 19 Serirang Kabupaten Sekadau. Jumlah keseluruhan siswa putra kelas V adalah sebanyak 17 siswa, terdiri dari 10 siswa putra dan 7 siswa putri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pada siklus I terdapat hasil ketuntasan dengan jumlah 11 siswa atau sebesar 65% dan siswa yang belum tuntas berjumlah 6 siswa atau sebesar 35%. Sedangkan siklus II terdapat hasil siswa dengan kategori tuntas semua dengan siswa lulus berjumlah 17 siswa atau sebesar 100% dan belum tuntas berjumlah 0 atau tidak ada.Kata Kunci: Lempar Lembing, Media Pembelajaran Lempar TurboAbstract: This study has the objective to improve learning outcomes javelin with a throw of learning media turbo in class V students of State Elementary School 19 Serirang Sekadau . Forms of research is classroom action research ( PTK ) . Subjects in this study were fifth grade students of State Elementary School 19 Serirang Sekadau . The total number of male students in class V are as many as 17 students , consisting of 10 boys and 7 female student . Based on the results of the study concluded that in the first cycle are the result of the thoroughness with the number of 11 students or 65% , and students who have not completed amounted to 6 students , or by 35 % . While the second cycle there is a category of student outcomes to complete all the graduating students were 17 students or equal to 100 % and unresolved amounted to 0 or does not exist.Keywords: Javelin Throw, Throw Turbo Learning Media

Abstract

AbstractThis study was discussed about the analysis of building area and the layout of the Kubu Raya Archives and Library Service. The purpose of this study was to find out the planning of building construction and public library layout Kubu Raya. To get the data in case to complete the needed data of this the study, the author used qualitative research methods as well as data collection techniques by direct observation in the field, interviews, and documentation. The numbers of informants in this study were consisted of 3 people, namely the Chairman of Kubu Raya Libra ry, the chairman of the mobile library field, and the library manager or librarian. The results of the analysis showed that the located of  Kubu Raya District Archives and Library Office building is in a non-strategic area and does not have library directions, and covered up by other institutions such as the Education Office and Health Office so that most people did not realize about that. The public library building area of Kubu Raya Regency is still inadequate because the standard library building area according to the National Library (National Library Standards) is at least 0.008 m2 but the area of the Library and Library Office building in Kubu Raya Regency only has 8 x 24 m2 building area, 8 rooms area x 12 m2, and room length 12 m2, this is because there is still one building with the Office of Archives, as well as the rooms that are still lacking such as reading room, children's reading room, reference room itself is still in one room, mobile library section headroom mixes up with the processing room, so that it can disrupt the performance of librarians in the library. For now, the chairman of Kubu Raya library has planned to build a new library building. Keywords: Analysis, Building, Spatial Planning, Public Library

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model interactive demonstration pada materi perubahan wujud zat. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 38 siswa kelas VII G SMP Negeri 9 Pontianak. Alat pengumpulan data melalui tes, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil tes penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata post-test siklus I sebesar 72 dan siklus II sebesar 78. Ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus I adalah 68%  sedangkan pada siklus II adalah 79% artinya terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 11% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Model Interactive Demonstration Pada Materi Perubahan Wujud Zat dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Model Interactive Demonstration. Abstract: The aims of this research to improve the student learning outcomes using interactive demonstration model of the phase change material. This research is a classroom action research done as much as two cycles with the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. 38 students were participated in this research. Data collection tools through testing, observation and documentation sheet. The test results of research showed the average value of the post-test cycle I was 72 and the cycle II of 78. Mastery learning outcomes in the cycle I is 68% while in the cycle II is 79% means an increase learning outcomes by 11% from the cycle I to cycle II. The results of this study indicate that the use of Model Interactive Demonstration in phase change material able to improve student learning outcomes. Keywords:  Learning Outcomes, Interactive Demonstration Model.

Abstract

AbstractThis aims of this study were to determine whether there was a significant different of student achievement, determine how much influence of direct instruction models assisted by modelling the way strategy toward student achievement, determine the correlation between response and student achievement of experiment class and control class. This study used quasy experimental research with pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this research were X B as experimental class which taught using direct instruction models through modelling the way strategy and X C as control class wich taught using conventional method. Achievement test, questionnaire response, observasion sheet and interview guidelines ware used as the research instrument. According to independent-t test toward student achievement data, there was no significant difference of student achievement between those clasess (Asym.sig.(2-tailed) of 0,342). Learning using direct instruction models through modelling the way strategy gave 14,80% effect on improving student achievemen influenced by teacher. According to Person Correlation, there was no correlation between response and student achievement of control class (Sig.(2-tailed) of 0,306). According to Kendall’s Correlation, there was no correlation between response and student achievement of experiment class (Sig.(2-tailed) of 0.398). Keyword: Direct Instruction, Modeling The Way, Hydrocarbon.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to investigate the use of Tumblr at the eleventh grade students of SMAN 3 Pontianak. Tumblr was used as the media of teaching and learning writing. Based on the preliminary research, class XI IPA 2 was chosen as the participants of this research in order to find out whether or not using Tumblr can improve students’ writing skill. Two cycles of classroom action research were conducted to help the researcher achieve the objective. The data were collected and analyzed in qualitative and quantitative form. The findings showed that there were positive improvements in students’ writing competence which could be seen from the mean score of the tests conducted before and after the action. The use of Tumblr was also beneficial in increasing students’ motivation, helping the students have more spaces to practice writing in unlimited time and place, and making them become more independent learners. Overall, many students excelled and their writing skills improved after using Tumblr as the new writing platform.   Keywords: Tumblr, Teaching Writing, Writing Skill, Blog Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana penggunaan Tumblr pada siswa kelas sebelas di SMAN 3 Pontianak. Tumblr digunakan sebagai media mengajar dan belajar menulis. Berdasarkan pada pra-penelitian, kelas XI IPA 2 dipilih sebagai subjek dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah Tumblr dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa atau tidak. Dua siklus Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilakukan untuk membantu peneliti dalam mencapai tujuan penelitian ini. Data-data penelitian dikumpulkan dan dianalisa dalam bentuk kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan positif pada kemampuan menulis siswa yang dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata tes pada sebelum dan sesudah masing-masing siklus. Penggunaan Tumblr juga diketahui bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa, menyediakan ruang bagi mereka dalam berlatih menulis pada waktu dan tempat yang tidak terbatas dan menjadikan mereka pembelajar yang lebih mandiri. Secara keseluruhan, banyak siswa menjadi mahir dan kemampuan menulis mereka meningkat setelah menggunakan Tumblr sebagai media baru dalam menulis.   Kata Kunci: Tumblr, Mengajar Menulis, Kemampuan Menulis, Blog

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the interests of entrepreneurship for those who do not continue the education provided by guidance and counseling teachers in SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak The method used is descriptive method and the form of research is the form of survey research. The population in this study is 120 and the sample is 50 students in SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. This research uses quantitative method. Data collection techniques used are direct communication in the form of interviews and indirect communication in the form of questionnaires. While the technique of data analysis using the formula percentage.Based on the results of this research, information service on entrepreneurship interest has reached the score in the "good" category. This indicates that information services on entrepreneurship interests are well understood by learners and service activities have been implemented well too. Keywords: Information Services About Interest in Entrepreneurship, Students Educate

Abstract

 AbstractThe method of this research was a descriptive research. The data was collected through the observation checklist from the students’ activity. The result of the implementation of debate technique to activate students’ speaking skill could be seen from the data observation.  The result of the data analysis based on the students’ activity in debate technique showed that the process of the students’ activity in applying debate technique could activate the students’ speaking skill.  Based on the data of the result the mean score of the students who participated in speaking activities, for all meeting until the last activities could be categorized all students spoke in the class, in each group had a chance to speak and the result were 100%, so the average of the percentage that the researcher got from the activity to the all meetings were 100%, and the result of the aspect speaking skill of the students’ individual score that included accuracy, fluency, appropriacy, and voice mechanic for all students from 28 students in the class were 68,73 qualified as average to good. Keyword: Debate Technique, Activate Students, Speaking Skill
