Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the lack of interest of students to the literary works, one of whom wrote poetry. So the problem that arises is how the learning to write poetry on the students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Segedong Mempawah lesson year 2017/2018. This research method is descriptive. Form of research used qualitative. Sources of data in this study are Indonesian teachers and students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Segedong. Data collection techniques use observation and test techniques. Data analysis technique using qualitative descriptive model. The results or conclusions of this study are: 1) Implementation of learning in the form of preliminary activities undertaken by the teacher has been implemented all well; 2) Implementation of learning in the form of core activities that are divided in the mastery of the material, the application of learning strategies, learning to write poetry, process assessment and learning outcomes, and the use of language; 3) Implementation of learning in the form of closing activities is the teacher with students concluded the material has been studied. The teacher asks a message that can be taken from the material, the teacher also conducts an assessment of the learning activities; 4) Assessment of the final results using the assessment rubric. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this reasearch is to analyze effect of the application of model quantum teaching student learning outcomes in pendidikan keawrganegaraan in 5th grade SDN 37 Southeastern Pontianak. Research method  that used is experimental method with Quasi Experimental Design, with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Research population is all of 5th grade of two classes from class VA to class VB with total 44 students. The sample of this research are class VA consist of 19 students (experiment) and class VB consist of 19 students (control). The average learning outcomes of final test class VA is 84,10 and class VB is 76,60 gained tarithmetic (2,195)>ttable α=5% (1,684), then Ha acceptable. So, the conclution is there are two average significant differences learning outcomes of students, among students group that teach with apply without method of quantum teaching and students group that teach with apply of quantum teaching approach of 5th grade in SDN 37 Southeastern Pontianak. The value of effect size is 0,49 with are criteria medium, this case mean applying model quantum teaching approach to pendidikan kewarganegaraan give are effect for learning outcomes of 5th grade in SDN 37 Southeastern Pontianak. Abstract

 AbstractThe background of this study is children who have difficulty in fine motor skills, among others on the activity of sticking, cutting, matching. The problem in this study is: "Does applying mosaic technique in learning can improve the fine motor development in children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Gembala Baik Pontianak?". The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of fine motor development by applying the mosaic technique in children aged 5-6 Years in Good Shepherd Kindergarten Pontianak. This form of research is a classroom action research.Based on the results of research that has been done and through the results obtained after the data analysis, generally drawn conclusions Learning planning to improve fine motor in children aged 5-6 years is categorized "very good", Implementation of learning using mosaic techniques in improving the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years has been categorized very well, and Improved fine motor skills by using mosaic techniques in children aged 5-6 years can be categorized very well developed in this case the child is neatly attached, clean in the paste and have the appropriate pattern.Keywords: Fine Motor, Mosaic

Abstract

AbstractPoetry writing skills are skills to express feelings and thoughts in writing. The general problem in this study is whether the picture and picture learning model can improve poetry writing skills in class III of School Elementary School 05 Nyandung Kabupaten Bengkayang. This study aims to improve poetry writing skills using the picture and picture learning model. This research uses descriptive method, form of action research class (PTK) and is collaborative. Subjects in this study were researchers as teachers and students of  class III which amounted to 35 students. This research was conducted in even semester. The procedures used are planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Techniques used are observation and scrutiny of documents, data collection tool is an observation sheet and document scrutiny sheet. Data analysis was conducted between researcher and observer collaboration. The results of the study of poetry writing skills using picture and picture learning model in the first cycle an average score of 51.1. In cycle II the average score 64.49.In cycle III get an average value of 74. It can be concluded that using the picture and picture learning model can improve the writing skills of third grade students of State Elementary School 05 Nyandung Kabupaten Bengkayang. Keywords: Writing Skills, Picture and Picture

Abstract

AbstractMandarin characters are the smallest scripts used in Chinese writing .In order to write Mandarin characters well, students must learn the basics of writing and sequence of script writing in mandarin. The author after an interview with a teacher at Darul Ulum secondary school, know that many students in the school wrote that the Chinese characters are not good. Therefore the purpose of this study is to know stroke error and sequence of Chinese writing in class XI IPS and XI IPA. According to the author's research also, found that in students XI IPS and XI IPA in the statistical level of stroke writing and sequence of Chinese script writing: more that,espiceally at 2 words?mi,hen?, very many students are wrong in writing strokes and sequence of writing Mandarin characters 90%.Keywords:  Mandarin characters,Strokes, Sequence

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine wheather there is an effect or not and how much the effect has on experiential learning model on student’s learning outcomes in Natural Science for IV grade SD Negeri 06 Pontianak Kota. The used method is an experiment in the form of quasi-experimental design with the kind of nonequivalent control group design. The population is all students of  IV grade. The sample consisted of IV B grade as an experimental class and IV A grade as a control class selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection technique that is used is measurement with data collection tool in written test in the form of multiple choices. Analysis of post-test results using the polled variance t-test shows the value of t_count (3.312) > t_table (2.0141). It means, there are significant differences between student learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the experiential learning model on student’s learning outcomes. From the calculation of the effect size obtained 0.699 which means learning with experiential learning model gives a moderate effect on student’s learning outcomes in Natural Science for IV grade SD Negeri 06 Pontianak Kota. Keywords:       Experiential Learning Model, Student’s Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThe focus of this research is the principal academic supervision in order to develop teacher performance in SMP Negeri 1 Sekayam with research questions focused on: how is the planning, implementation, evaluation, and implementation of the response of teachers to the academic supervision programs, and whether the factors supporting and inhibiting academik supervision programs conducted by the principal at SMP Negeri 1 Sekayam?. To answer these questions, the researchers used descriptive research approaches and case study research. In collecting the data, the researchers as the key instruments, using the techniques of participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documents. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative analysis . Research findings conclude that: (1) Planing academic supervision by the principal is not complete as the demands of administrative and academic supervision planning theoretical concepts. (2) The implementation of academic supervision by the principal using individual supervision techniques through class visits (3) Measure of success seen from the increasing performance of the teacher. (4) The majority of teachers responded positively to the academic supervision is carried out by the principal. (5) factors Supporting the education of human resources suggests that there is good cooperation while inhibiting factor for senior teacher sometimes appear fed up with academic supervision is carried out by the principal. Keywords: Academic Supervision, Principal, Guidance, Teacher Performance.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konseptual siswa ditinjau dari tingkat kemampuan dasar siswa pada materi matriks. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian tediri dari 32 siswa kelas X Akutansi 4 SMKN 3 Pontianak. Data hasi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konseptual siswa tergolong rendah berdasarkan tiga indikator pemahaman konseptual yang digunakan. Siswa dengan tingkat kemampuan dasar tinggi hanya menguasai dua indikator, yaitu mampu mengklasifikasikan objek dalam operasi matriks menurut sifatnya dan mampu memberikan contoh dan bukan contoh dari konsep. Siswa dengan tingkat kemampuan dasar sedang menguasai satu indikator, yaitu mampu memberikan contoh dan bukan contoh dari konsep. Siswa dengan tingkat  kemampuan dasar rendah tidak menguasai tiga indikator yang digunakan, yaitu tidak mampu menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep, tidak mampu mengklasifikasikan objek dalam operasi matriks menurut sifat-sifat tertentu, dan tidak mampu memberikan contoh dan bukan contoh. Kata kunci: Pemahaman Konseptual, Tingkat Kemampuan Dasar Abstrak: The purpose of this research is to identify the students’ conceptual understanding that are reviewed from the students’ basic competency levels of the subject of matrix. The method that is used in this research is descriptive method in case study research’s mode. The Research subject consists of 32 students of “Kelas X Akutansi 4 SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak”. The data research result shows that students’ conceptual understanding are low because of based on three indicators of conceptual understanding that are used. The students’ with high basic competency levels only master two indicators, such as, enable to classify the object in matrix operation according to its feature, enable to give the examples, and not example of the concept. The students’ with intermediate basic competency levels only master one indicators, such as, enable to give the examples, and not example of the concept. The students with low basic competency levels do not master three indicators that are used, such as, unable to re-explain a concept, unable to classify the object in the matrix operation according to specific features, and unable to give the example and not example. Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by social studies learning problems that are still teacher-centered, causing students to be passive in learning which results in low understanding of social studies concepts and students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of metacognisic learning through inquiry methods to increase understanding of social studies concepts and students' critical thinking skills. This study uses a quantitative approach to the quasi experimental method and the design of Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study. Sampling was done by purposive sampling which resulted in two sample classes. Class VII H as an experimental class that applies learning through inquiry methods while Class VII J is used as a control class that applies inquiry learning methods. The research data obtained by using the test questions instruments understanding the IPS concept in the form of multiple choice questions and test questions of critical thinking skills in the form of the same questions are then analyzed quantitatively. Questionnaire data and observation sheets were analyzed quantitatively descriptive. The results of the study show that learning through inquiry methods can improve understanding of social studies concepts and students' critical thinking skills. But based on statistical calculations with the independent t-test shows that between the experimental class and the control class there were no significant differences.Keywords: effectiveness, inquiry, understanding the social sciences concept, critical thingking

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Sulang Betung Kabupaten Sekadau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu guru dan siswa berjumlah 18 orang siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi langsung dan alat pengumpul data yaitu lembar observasi (IPKG I dan IPKG II) dan lembar penilaian hasil belajar siswa. Data dianalisis dengan perhitungan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada  pembelajaran matematika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Sulang Betung Kabupaten Sekadau yaitu pada siklus I jumlah siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM sebanyak 10 orang siswa atau 55,55% sedangkan pada siklus II jumlah siswa yang nilainya mencapai  KKM meningkat menjadi 18 orang siswa atau 100%. Dengan menerapkan  pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD  dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Kata Kunci: Tipe STAD, Matematika Abstract: This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics teaching by applying cooperative learning model type STAD fifth grade students of State Elementary School 35 Sulang Betung Sekadau District. This research uses descriptive method. Research subjects that teachers and students were 18 people siswa.Teknik data collection is the technique of direct observation and data collection tool that is the observation sheet (IPKG IPKG I and II) and the student learning outcomes assessment form. Data were analyzed by calculating the average. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics teaching by applying cooperative learning model type STAD fifth grade students of State Elementary School 35 Sulang Betung Sekadau that in the first cycle the number of students who reach the KKM as many as 10 students or 55.55%, while the the second cycle the number of students that reached KKM increased to 18 students or 100%. By applying a model of STAD cooperative learning can improve student learning outcomes in learning mathematics. Keywords: TypeSTAD, Math
