Abstract

Abstract:  The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness and evaluate how effective the use of QAR (Question and Answer Relationship) on improving the students' reading comprehension, especially on the Descriptive Text. In this study, the authors used a Class Action Research, while for collecting the data, the authors use the observation notes and some written test instruments to measure student progress. The results of the data analysis and observation notes, found that the effect of the QAR (Question and Answer Relationship) are influence at the level of students' understanding in  descriptive reading text, the  students were able to answer the question by searching the  information in text, and increasing their  motivation and most of student are interest in the subject English Basically, the student increasing in this study is varied, if we look at the graph of value increasing, perhaps only a few are able to improve his abilities, but on the other hand, the growing and respect for the English class is quite an increase, to cultivate a sense of curiosity towards English had already made his own pride for researchers.Keywords: QAR (Question and Answer Relationship), Reading Comprehension, Descriptive Text Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan dan mengevaluasi seberapa efektifnya penggunaan QAR (Question and Answer Relationship) pada peningkatan pemahaman membaca siswa khususnya pada jenis Text Descriptive. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas sedeangkan untuk menggumpulkan data, penulis menggunakan catatan obervasi dan beberapa intrumen test tertulis untuk mengukur kemajuan siswa. Hasil dari data analisis dan catatan observasi, penulis menemukan bahwa efek dari QAR (Question and Answer Relationship) berpengarauh pada tingkat pemahaman siswa terhadap text bacaan descriptive, siswa mampu menjawab pertanyaan dengan mencari informasi yang ada dalam text,  dan meningkatnya motifasi dan minat siswa pada pelajaran bahasa inggris. Pada dasarnya peningkatan siswa pada penelitian ini beragam , jika kita melihat dari grafik peningkatan nilai, mungkin hanya sedikit yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuannya, namun disisi lain , meningkatnya semangat dan penghargaan terhadap pelajaran bahasa inggris ini cukup meningkat, untuk menumbuh kan rasa keingintahuan mereka terhadap bahasa inggris sudah membuat kebanggaan sendiri bagi peneliti.Keywords:  QAR (Question and Answer Relationship), Pemahaman Membaca, Text Deskriptif

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menganalisis fungsi dan rancangan implementasi pembelajaran tari Rodat dalam Kesenian Hadrah di Kota Pontianak.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dalam bentuk kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan antropologi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Anwar Dja’far, Syarief Selamet Joesoef Al Kadrie, Awaludin dan Yuza Yanis Chaniago. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan bahwa tari Rodat dalam Kesenian Hadrah di Kota Pontianak, memiliki banyak fungsi yang amat penting bagi kehidupan. Fungsi sebagai hiburan, pertunjukan, media pendidikan dan fungsi sosial. Fungsi tari yang bermacam-macam disesuai dengan tujuan yang diinginkan, dikehendaki oleh masyarakat pendukung, penyelenggara, atau oleh pencipta tari itu sendiri, serta oleh penarinya sendiri. Maka dari itu adapun yang berkembang, berubah, adalah sisi penyajiannya yang disesuaikan dengan jiwa jamannya yang mendukung.   Kata Kunci: fungsi tari, tari Rodat, kesenian Hadrah Abstrak: The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the function and the implementation in lesson plans of Rodat dance in the Hadrah culture in Pontianak. This research applied the descriptive method in the form of a qualitative research and used the antropology approach. The data source of this research are Anwar Dja'far, Syarief Selamet Joesoef Al Kadrie, Awaludin and Yuza Yanis Chaniago. The technique conducted were observation, interview and documentation. The technique used to test the validity of the data were triangulation source and technique. Based on the data analyzed, it can be concluded that Rodat dance in the Hadrah culture in Pontianak has a lot of important function in daily life basis; the function as entertaiment and performance, the function as media in education and social function. The function of the dance can be adapted with the purpose intented by the society, or the coreografer and also the dancers. Furthermore, Rodat dance has been developed and changed by performances and has been adapted and influenced by the new era. Keywords: dance function, Rodat dance, Hadrah cultur

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted to determine the extent of the effectiveness of mobile library services in Sui Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. The aim of the researchers from this study was to find out how effective the users of mobile library services and the constraints in mobile library services in the District of Kubu Raya.Researchers used qualitative methods. Data collection techniques conducted by researchers. Using observation x and documentation when the research was conducted. Data analysis techniques used by researchers in this study using qualitative data analysis that produces descriptive data in the form of words or verbal from a person or it can also be with events that can be observed directly.The results of the study of mobile library services are considered to be quite effective. Effectiveness of mobile library services in Kubu Raya District which covers tasks or functions, plans or programs, rules and regulations and constraints or obstacles that are carried out in mobile library services in Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. In Sungai Raya sub-district, Kubu Raya district has the opportunity to use this mobile library service, especially for schools that are still lacking in reading material needed by students and gain insight. However, this mobile library in carrying out its duties is not always as expected. There are several obstacles in the effectiveness of mobile library services in Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. Abstract

 AbstractThis research is purpose to analyze  the influence  of student teams achievement division toward the result of study and how much that influence the student teams achievement division on learning outcome of social science in  class V Elementary School 33 Pontianak Utara. The method used is an experiment with quasi experimental design¸with the form of nonequivalent control group design. The population and sample of this research are  all students af class V Elementary School 33 Pontianak Utara, consist of two classes with totaling 56 students. Based on data analysis the average results of posttest experimental class were 84.41 and control class posttest was 79.74. Obtained  tcount (4.92) and ttable 1.6749, because of  tcount> ttable, so Ha was accepted. The conclusion that there is an effect of student teams achievement division social toward the learning outcome in social science in class V of the Elementary School 33 Pontianak Utara. Based on the calculation of the   effect size obtained Δ = 0.76, categorized as medium. Thus, student teams achievement division has a positive influence on the lerning achievement of students in learning social science class V in Elementary School 33 Pontianak Utara.Keywords: Effective, Student Teams Achievement Divisions, Learning Outcomes,                   Learning Social Science.

Abstract

                       AbstractTitle of this research is "Implementation of school rules for students of class VIII I in Pontianak State 2 MTs." This study aimed to determine the general problems in this study, namely "How is the implementation of school rules for class VIII I students in Pontianak 2 MTs.".With sub-problems: (1) How is the implementation of school rules for students of class VIII I in MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak in preventive aspects, (2) How is the implementation of school rules for class VIII I students in MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak in repressive aspects. The form of research used in this study is qualitative research with descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are that the implementation of school discipline in preventive aspects and repressive aspects can be concluded and has been implemented well, although there are some students who are found to still violate the rules that apply in the school. Keywords:  Implementation, School Rules

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to describe the role of community leaders in preserving the Saprahan tradition in Pusaka Village, Tebas District. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The implementation process is carried out by observation, interview and documentation study. The results showed that the role of community leaders in maintaining and preserving the Saprahan tradition in the Pusaka Village of Tebas Subdistrict is to guide the community by providing guidance and teaching to the citizens of Pusaka Village about what and how the saprahan tradition is carried out, as a motivator for the community by intimate approaching with residents, exchanging ideas with residents at leisure, providing encouragement and input to citizens in carrying out events and as an umbrella in the tradition of saprahan, namely providing security to the community by protecting and taking full responsibility for the event held so that the event runs orderly and smoothly. Keywords : The Role of Public Figures, Saprahan Tradition

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research was how to influence science technology societyapproach towards learning outcomes of students in learning the nature of science that was implemented in the class IV elementary school North of Pontianak 33 Country. In this study, researchers used a Quasi experimental design design design with the shape Nonequvalent control group design. The population in this research was the whole grade IV elementary school the country 33 North of Pontianak, while samples obtained through consideration of the ability of the students in the form of an odd year semester rapot values the lessons 2017/2018. Data collection techniques used ware measurement techniques and data collection tools used in the form of a written objective-shaped test. Based on the calculation of the average results it obtainedstudying post-test control class 71.38 and average post test experimental class of 75.59 so get thitung post data-test of 2.553 with ttabel to an extent α = 5% and dk = 65 of 1.670, because thitung (2.553) > ttabel (1.670) then the Ha received. So, there  was a significant influence on the use of science technology society approach towards learning outcomes students natural science grade IV elementary school North of Pontianak 33 Country. The calculation of effect size (ES) acquired for 0.44 (criteria are). Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi siswa dalam merepresentasi lukisan lingkaran menggunakan jangka, busur dan mistar di kelas VII SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah  metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Banyaknya sampel penelitian ini adalah 34 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa merepresentasi kelompok atas memperoleh klasifikasi sedang dengan yaitu rata-rata skor 60%, kelompok menengah memperoleh klasifikasi rendah dengan rata-rata skor 43,66% dan kelompok bawah memperoleh klasifikasi sangat rendah dengan rata-rata skor 35,41% terhadap skor potensi maksimum yang dapat diperoleh siswa 100%. Ada perbedaan kecermatan siswa dalam melukis. Siswa kelompok atas cenderung lebih cermat dari kelompok menengah maupun kelompok bawah. Kata Kunci: Potensi, Merepresentasi, Lukisan Lingkaran Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of the students in the painting represent the circle using a compass, bow and crossbar in class VII SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak in West Kalimantan. The method used is descriptive method with the form of a case study. The number of samples of this study is 34 students. The result showed that the students' ability to obtain classification represents the top group was with an average score of 60 %, medium-sized group to obtain lower classification with an average score of 43.66% and below the group to obtain the classification is very low with an average score of 35.41 % of the maximum potential score that can be obtained by students 100 %. There is a difference in the precision of the students in painting. Student groups tend to be more careful on the middle class and the lower group. Keywords: Potential, represent, Painting Circle

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja dosen di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan di Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan bentuk penelitian kolerasional yang menerangkan hubungan setiap variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat, baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun secara bersama-sama, serta membuat prediksi variabel terikat atas setiap variabel bebas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan (X1) tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap variabel kinerja dosen (Y) dengan nilai koefisien -0,174.Variabel iklim kerja (X2) memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap variabel kinerja dosen (Y) dengan nilai koefisien 1,002, yang artinya jika institusi mempunyai iklim kerja yang baik, maka kinerja dosen akan meningkat. Gaya kepemimpinan dan iklim kerja dengan kinerja dosen adalah tingkat sedang (r = 0,773) dan berpola positif yang artinya semakin bertambah baik gaya kepemimpinan dan iklim kerja maka semakin baik pula kinerja dosennya.   Kata Kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan, Iklim Kerja, Kinerja dosen. Abstract: This study aims to determine The influence of leadership style and organizational climate on the performance of lecturers in the high school health Pontianak. This study uses a quantitative approach with a form of correlational research the  explains the relationship of each independent variable and  with a bound, either alone or together as well as make predictions of the dependent variable over the independent variable. Leadership style variable (X1) does not have a positive effect on the variable performance of lecturer (Y) with the coefficient of -0.174. Working climate variables (X2) has a positive effect on the variable performance of lecturer (Y) with the coefficient of 1.002, that means if an institution has a good working climate, then the lecturer's performance will increase. Leadership style and working climate with performance of th lecturer is is medium level (r = 0.773) and positive pattern, that  increasing better  leadership style and work climate the better the performance of the lucturers. Key Words: Leadership Style, Work Climate, Lecturer Performance.

Abstract

 AbstractThe general objective in this research is to get clarity in how to help students who have inferiority in class X  SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. This research method is descriptive in the form of case study research. The case subjects in this study were two people. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and interview. The research data collection tools are observation guide and interview guides. To overcome the problems experienced subjects I and II, an approach from the Adlerian  counseling model is a reeducation process for case subjects in an effort to change their perceptions and social values that are not true and re-new their motivational orientation. The techniques used is Assessment technique,Guided and Imagery technique, Role Playing technique, and Socratic Questioning technique. The result obtained after being given alternative help on the case subject one,  experienced many changes, especially in socializing,such as being good communication,but not able to explore the capabilities they have. Whereas the subject of case two felt that there was no visible change in himself and still felt that she was not considered there by her friends. Researcher's suggestion in that case subjects are expected to be able to maintain and increase positive changes.Keywords :Case Studies, Inferiory Feelings, Adlerian
