Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to improve the behavior of courtesy through the method of telling the story of children aged 5-6 years in TK LKIA II South Pontianak. The form of this research is classroom action research with descriptive method. Research subjects were teachers amounting to 1 person and 15 children. Based on the results of research that has been done and through the results obtained after the analysis of data that 1) learning planning in improving the behavior of courtesy through the method of storytelling in children aged 5-6 years can be categorized "good", among others: create a plan of daily activities, Selection of play materials, selection of learning methods, problem formulation. 2) The implementation of learning in improving the behavior of courtesy through storytelling method in children aged 5-6 years can be categorized as "good", among others: determine the material and formulate goals, manage class interaction, demonstrate the ability in learning, carry out process assessment and learning outcomes , General impression of process and learning outcomes. 3) Improving the behavior of courtesy through the storytelling method to children aged 5-6 years: the child thanked when given the gift (gift) from the people, the child said the word help when receiving help from others, children learn patience to admit error. Based on the results of research that has been implemented then researchers can suggest to teachers in improving the behavior of courtesy in children, among others: Teachers can make learning planning by taking into account the basic competence standards, so that the implementation can be run systematically. Keywords: Sopan Santun, Method of Storytelling

Abstract

 AbstractThe problem in this study is "What with Contextual Learning in Civics can improve the learning outcomes sisawa class III SDN 01 Mandor?". This study aims to know and learn about "Improved Learning Outcomes Through Contextual Learning in Civics Class III Primary School 01 Mandor. This research is a classroom action research and is collaborative. The place of research took place at the State Elementary School 01 Mandor with the subject of research that is the students of class III which amounted to 20 people. Technique of collecting data that is used is direct observation technique with data collecting tool that is IPKG I and IPKG II sheets. This research is done for 3 cycles. The results of the design of learning implementation plan obtained on average in the first cycle of 2.75, the cycle II of 3.60, the third cycle of 3.96, The results of learning learning obtained on average in the first cycle of 2.75, cycle II of 3.61, cycle III of 3.96, The results of the results of student learning results obtained on average in the first cycle of 61.00, cycle II of 72.00, the third cycle of 92.50. Total number of students in cycle I reached 15 people then there was an increase in cycle II reached 17 people and on the third cycle increased for all students class III which amounted to 20 people. From the data obtained can be concluded that there is an increase in each cycle. Abstract

Abstract This research is based on the dynamic or change in nature of the language. It is this nature that usually causes a change of a language, especially meaning. In this case, the change in meaning that occur are amelioration and peyoration changes. These apply to every language in Indonesia, especially Madurese language. Therefore, this research aims to describe the change in the meaning of the word amelioration and peyoration and describes the function of change the meaning of ameliorate and peyoration in Madurese language in Kabupaten Kubu Raya. This research was conducted at Dusun Karya Dua, Desa Kuala Dua, Kecamatan Sungai Raya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya. The research method that used was descriptive method in the form of qualitative. Technique of collecting data that used were interview technique, record, and record. Data collection tools that used were stationery, tape recorder, and auxiliary instruments. Data an¬alysis techniques that used were comparative techniques and grammatical analysis. The function of amelioration changes, including eliminating prejudice, cultural and religious adjustments, beauty, beautification of appearance, and needs. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe of music accompaniment, the motif of acordion melody, the wasp pattern of beruas and rebana and the implementation at school on Jepin Tembung dance music accompaniment of Sanggar Bougenville Kota Pontianak. The methode used in this research is descrptive explorative methode and using musicology approach.The data in this study is the result of direct observation and interview to the certain informers in the form of accordion melody, pattern of beruas wasp and tambourine. The data are analyzed qualitatively, from the data sources Yuza Chaniago, Juhermi Tahir, Nita Prilian Austin and some artists who has given an active role and know about the music of Jepin dance accompaniment, especially Jepin Tembung dance of  Sanggar Bougenville Kota Pontianak. The data is the result of observation, interview and documentation. The result of this study can be concluded that the music accompaniment of Jepin Tembung dance also has the same framer substance with the western music in the literal repeatation, the interval maximize, the tone value maximize and the  interval minimize    Keywords : Musicology Music Computation Dance of Jepin Tembung Sanggar Bougenville

Abstract

  AbstractA common problem in this study is How does the use of the cooperative model of think pair share in social science learning can improve student learning outcomes in grade V of Elementary School  9 Pontianak Barat. The research method used in this research is descriptive method, the form of research is classroom action research and the nature of this research is collaborative. This research was conducted for three cycles with the results obtained that is 1) the ability of teachers in planning learning by using a think pair share type from cycle I is 3.08, cycle II 3.7, cycle III 3.87. 2) the ability of teachers in the implementation of learning using think pair share type from cycle I is 3.33, cycle II 3.58, cycle III 3.86. 3) student learning outcomes using think pair share type starting from cycle I that is 74,32, cycle II 82,43 and cycle III 93,78. With the results obtained show that using the think pair share type in learning Citizenship Education can improve the learning outcomes of fifth graders Elementary School 9 Pontianak Barat. Keywords: Learning outcomes, Think pair share

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the style of danger contained in the novel Father and how the implementation in learning in school. The method used is descriptive method and the research form is qualitative, while the approach used is stylistic approach. Based on the results of data analysis, the following conclusions are derived: 1) the comparative language style contained in the 186 novel Ayah, which includes 47 personifications, 47 hyperbola f pieces, 24 similes, 53 pieces metaphors, 2 pieces sinekdoke, 2 pieces pleonasme, euphemism 5 pieces, 2 pieces synesthesia and metonimia 4 pieces. 2) the style of contradiction in the novel Ayah numbered 12 pieces, namely the paradox amounted to 6 pieces, antithesis 5 pieces, and koreksio 1 pieces. 3) the style of affirmation in the novel Ayah amounted to 39 pieces, including tautology 2 pieces, asidenton 8 pieces, climax 6  pieces and reps 23 pieces. 4) language style satire in the novel by Andrea Hirata's father amounted to 2 pieces namely, cynicism 1 pieces and sarcasm 1 pieces. The language style contained in Andrea Hirata's father's novel is 239 in total and the most dominant language style is the comparative language style, which is a metaphor of 53 pieces. For learners, the results of this study can provide science in literary works, especially the style of language in the novel. This study is also useful for the reader to distinguish the author's language style in writing novels. Keywords: style of language, novel

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to know the feasibility of wet-preserved media in the studying sub-material of plant-like protists (algae) for Senior High School tenth.The form of research was quantitative descriptive methods.Validation sheet was used as the instrument of research. Each statemen item is divided into categories Very Good is worth 4, Good is worth 3, Less Good is worth 2, and Not Good is worth 1. Based on the validator's assessment, the wet-preserved media wasdeclared valid with CVR and CVI values of 0,99, so that it was suitable tobe used as a learning mediain studying sub-material of plant-like protists (algae). The macroalgae wet-preserved media were validated by five validators consisting of three high school Biology teachers and two Biology education lecturers from FKIP Untan. Based on the validator's assessment, the wet-preserved media was declared valid with CVR and CVI values of 0,99 (valid), so that it was feasible to be used as a learning media in studying sub-material of plant-like protists (algae). Keywords: wet-preserved, learning media, plant-likeprotists (algae)

Abstract

AbstractThis study is an attempt to find out the effect of financial performance (profitability and leverage) on stock prices in the registered Manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock  Exchange. The research methodology used was descriptive. The data used in this research was annual financial reports and close stock prices (closing prices)of 36 registered Manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2012 which was taken from Iindonesia Stock Exchange branch Pontianak and also from several websites (http://www.idx.co.id/, http://finance.yahoo.com/). The result shows that the profitability and the leverage of the registered Manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange  is categorised as poor and good respectively. The result from (uji t) shows that the profitability  has significant effect partially on stock prices, while the leverage does not, and the result from (uji F) shows that the financial performance (profitability and leverage) has significant effect on stock prices of the registered Manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange simultaneously. Its effect on stock prices is arround 17.7%.  Keywords: Financial Performance, Stock Prices, Manufacturing Companies.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri No. 11 Balai Sepuak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu guru dan siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri No. 11 Balai Sepuak yang berjumlah 14 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi langsung dan alat pengumpul data yaitu lembar observasi (IPKG I & IPKG II) dan hasil penilaian belajar siswa. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan perhitungan rata-rata. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata 65,71 dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata 90,71 dengan peningkatan 25. Pencapaian KKM yaitu 60 pada siklus I siswa yang tuntas 8 orang atau 57,14% dan pada siklus II sebanyak 14 orang atau 100% dengan peningkatan 42,86. Dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri No. 11 Balai Sepuak.   Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Metode Eksperimen   Abstract: This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in learning science by using the experimental method in class III State Elementary School No. 11 Balai Sepuak. This research uses descriptive method. Research subjects that teachers and students of class III State Elementary School No. 11 Balai Sepuak totaling 14 people. Data collection techniques is the technique of direct observation and data collection tool that is the observation sheet (IPKG IPKG I & II) and the assessment of student learning. Data were analyzed by calculating the average. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained by the average value of 65.71 and the second cycle of the average value of 90.71 with an increase KKM 25. Achievement of 60 in the first cycle of students who completed 8 or 57.14% and the second cycle as many as 14 people or 100% with an increase of 42.86. By using the experimental method can improve student learning outcomes Class III State Elementary School No. 11 Balai Sepuak. Keywords: Results of Study, Experimental Methods

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to explore student’s creative thinking ability in solving open ended problems on three dimensional material of SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The research method used in this study in the mixed method (quantitative and qualitative) with type triangulation design. The techniques used were measurement techniques and direct communication techniques with data collection tools creative thinking ability test and interview guide. The subject of this research was 40 students of XI AP3 SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The result showed that there were 6 (15%) students with the most creative thinking level, 14 (35%) students with creative thinking level, 2 (5%) students with moderate creative thinking level, 9 (22,5%) students with less creative thinking level, and 9 (22,5%) students with not creative thinking level. In fluency aspect of creative thinking, there were 30 (75%) students qualified and 10 (25%) students satisfied. In flexibility aspect of creative thinking, there were 20(50%) students qualified and 20 (50%) students satisfied. In originality aspect of creative thinking, there were were 8 (20%) students qualified and 32 (80%) students satisfied.Keywords: Creative Thingking, Open Ended Problem, Three Dimensional Material
