Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to know the effectiveness of using refutation text readings assisted simple props in remediating students’ misconceptions about fluid dynamics in Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa Senior High School Kubu Raya. This research was a quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control group design.  The sample  was the students of class XI IPA 1 (N=33) as the experiment class 1 and XI IPA 2 (N=31) as the experiment class 2 were chosen by intact group. The instrument of data collecting used diagnostic test like multiple choices without reasons. The results showed that the percentage of students who misconception were 86.67% and 88.46% at pretest. There were declines in the number of students who misconception about 63.67% and 44.21%. Based on the Mann-Whitney U test, there was the significant difference of the number of students’ misconceptions between the class remediated Refutation text assisted using simple props and without using simple props ( -2.44; 0,05). Remediation effectiveness showed by DQM price about 63.67% and 44.21%. This research is expected can be the alternative to remediate students’ misconceptions especially in physics. Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to know the influence of the influence of learning style and learning motivation on students’ learning result in subject on tenth grade students of SMK Kristen Immanuel II Sungai Raya. The method used in this research was descriptive-quantitative. This is a correlation research. The number of the sample is 68 students. The data was collected by using indirect communication technique (influence of learning style and learning motivation-questionnaire), direct communication technique (directive interview) and direct observation technique (directive observation). The result of this research showed that there is the positive influence of the influence of learning style to the learning motivation of the tenth grade students of SMK Kristen Immanuel II Sungai Raya It is indicated by the number 2,746 which showed that there is an influence of the independent variable to dependent variable. When it is compared with T table on the significance level of 0,05 at 1998. So it is greater than T table or 2,746 > 1,998, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The magnitude of the influence of adversity quotient on student motivation by 29,3% while the rest influenced by other factors are not described in this study. So the conclusion is the adversity quotient has significant impact on the learning motivation of the students the tenth grade students of SMK Kristen Immanuel II Sungai Raya. Keywords: learning style, Learning Motivation, learning result

Abstract

Abstrak : penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam menggunakan metode demonstrasi kelas IV SDN 10 mempawah Hilir Kabupaten Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus, setiap siklus 1 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah kemampuan guru merancang pembelajaran pada siklus 1 total IPKG 1 yaitu 14,75 atau rata-ratanya 2,95, pada siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 15 atau rata-ratanya 3. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran pada siklus 1 total skor IPKG2 yaitu 12,31 atau rata rata 3,07, dan pada siklus 2 total skor meningkat menjadi 14,22 atau rata-rata meningkat 3,55. Hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus 1 rata-ratanya 67,42 dan siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 74,03. Dari analisis data yang diperoleh, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV SDN 10 Mempawah Hilir Kabupaten Pontianak pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam.   Kata kunci; hasil belajar, metode demonstrasi, pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam   Abstract : This Research is to describe the increase in the study of students in learning science using demonstration in grade four elementary school 10 Mempawah hilir regency Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method by using of classroom action research and nature of the research is collaboration. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consist of 1 meetings. The results obtained the teachers planning of the learning in the first cycle IPKG 1 the total score of 14,75 of the average score 2,95 the total of second cycle increased to 15 of the average score 3.  The results obtained the teacers capability to apply the learning process in the first cycle IPKG two the total score of 12,31 of the average score 3,07 and the total second cycle increased to 14,22 of the average score 3,55. The learning outcomes of students cycle one of the average score 67,42 and the cycle 2 increased to 74,03. From the analysis of the data, it shows that the use of method demonstration can improve learning outcomes can improve learning of grade four student at SDN 10 mempawah hilir regency Pontianak. on natural science subjects.   Keyword: Learning outcomes, method demonstration, learning science

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada bilangan pecahan di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri 02 Sungai Ayak Belitang Hilir Kabupaten Sekadau Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptifdan bentuk penelitian ini penelitan tindakan kelas. subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri 02 Sungai Ayak yang berjumlah 22 orang terdiri dari 11 laki-laki dan 11 perempuan. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa siklus I rata-rata 53,64 pada siklus II rata-rata 76,37 dengan peningkatan 22,73. Dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri 02 Sungai Ayak Belitang Hilir Kabupaten Sekadau.   Kata kunci : Hasil Belajar, Matematika, Metode Demonstrasi Abstract: This research aims to determine mastery of students learning result in fraction number in grade VI of State Elementary School 02 Sungai Ayak, Belitang Hilir, Sekadau Regency, West Borneo Provice. This research method is used descriptive and this research form is the research of class action. This research subject is students in grade VI of State Elementary School 02 Sungai Ayak total 22 students included 11 male and 11 female. Data analyses result was found that students mastery result of learning from cycle I average 53,64 to cycle II average 76,37 up to 22,73. By using demonstration method could incrase students result of learning in grade VI of State Elementary School 02 Sungai Ayak, Belitang Hilir, Sekadau Regency, West Borneo Province.   Key word : Result of Learning, Mathematics, Demonstrasion Method

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted at the Eighth-Grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak in academic year 2018/2019 in the form of a classroom action research. The aim of this research was to describe how booklets can improve students’ reading comprehension on descriptive texts. The sample of this research was the students of class VIIIA which consisted of 30 students. The data were collected through observation checklist, field notes, and measurement test. This research was implemented in two cycles. The first cycle involved implementation of booklets with the topics of pet and food. It was found that by making the students explicitly aware of their learning, booklets helped build up good attention and improve students’ reading comprehension. The second cycle involved implementation of booklets with the topics of place and person. This time the students began to link new knowledge with prior knowledge to understand the descriptive text. The researcher provided pictures which illustrated unfamiliar vocabulary to help students understand the content of text. It showed that the students could construct new meaning from the pictures and could comprehend the descriptive texts. In conclusion, the use of booklet could improve students’ reading comprehension. They are now aware of learning and not hesitant to read. Keywords: Reading comprehension, Descriptive Texts, Booklets.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peningkatan keaktifan pembelajaran matematika metode permainan kartu bilangan kelas II SDN 15 Bentarat, Bengkayang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan pembelajaran matematika kelas II SDN 15 Bentarat, Bengkayang metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas II sebanyak 17 orang siswa terdiri dari 12 orang siswa laki-laki dan 5 orang siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode permainan kartu bilangan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Peningkatan tercermin dari nilai rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 56,18 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 62,65 yang berarti adanya peningkatan sebesar 6,47. Hal ini berarti pembelajaran matematika dengan matode permainan kartu bilangan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas II SDN 15 Bentarat, Bengkayang Kata Kunci: Keaktifan Pembelajaran, Permainan Kartu Bilangan , Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Abstrack: The improvement of class activity involvement in mathematics using numeric cards game to the second grade students of SDN 15 Bentarat, Bengkayang. This research was conducted to find out whether the Improvement of student class activity involvement through numeric cards in mathematics occurred or not to the second grade student of SDN 15 Bentarat, Bengkayang. The method used was descriptive through the Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjeck of the research was 17 second grade students. The consist of 12 male students and five female student. The research findiugs show that the implementation of numeric cards game could improve student actievement. The improvement reflected from the average score achieved in cycle I with 56,18 points that improved to 62,65 points in cycle II. Which mean that there is 6,47 points of improvement. This result show that mathematics learning through numeric cards game could improve the achievement of the second grade student of Bentarat bengkayang. AbstractThe title of this thesis is "The Role of Community Leaders in Planting Tolerance Values in Malay and Chinese Ethnics in Hamlet II, Nusapati River, Pinyuh River". The general problem in this research is "What is the shape of the role of community leaders in the establishment of tolerance values in Malay ethnic and Chinese hamlets IIDesa Nusapati, Pinyuh river". With sub-problems as follows; How to Form the Role of Community Leaders in Planting Tolerance Values in Mutual Respect; What Is the Shape of the Role of Community Leaders in Planting Tolerance Values of Mutual Concern in Malay and Chinese Ethnicities in Hamlet II, Nusapati Village, Pinyuh River. This study uses qualitative methods in descriptive form. The data collection tool uses interview guides and documentation. The results of the study show; Form of Role of Community Leaders in Planting Mutual Tolerance Values in the form of Community Leaders always appeal to the community to always live in harmony, must stay in touch with each other, give an example of behaving like always polite to their community whether they are young or old, and treat all people equally without looking at Ethnics, and giving reprimand such as giving advice or input to open the minds of the people to always behave well in maintaining harmonious life in the village; The Form of the Role of Community Leaders in Planting Mutual Concern Tolerance Values in the form of People here always teach to help and respect one another, by inviting the community to participate in activities to clean up the Village environment together, inviting people here to help other communities when they get disaster or again experiencing hardship, by inviting the community to make a contribution, teach or give an example to respect each other's community, for example not saying harshly to the people, always accepting or appreciating the opinions of their citizens regardless of ethnic or ethnic origin.        Keywords: Character Roles, Tolerance Values, Ethnicity.

Abstract: The title of this study is "Using School Libraries as a Source of Learning Students at SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Kubu Raya district Kingdom". This study aims to determine the function of the school library as a source of student learning, school library management, student attendance and frequency of Librarianship and what efforts were made ??by the manager of the library so that students utilize the school library in Secondary Schools 3 River Kingdom Kubu Raya district. The method used is descriptive method of research is the survey form. Subject of research is the library, teachers and students. Research results showed that the use of the school library has been done with good views of the functions, management of student attendance and frequency of the month of July to October by 76% so. However, to further maximize the use of the library is expected that the cooperation between teachers, students and library manager. Keywords: Utilization, library and learning resources Abstrak: Judul penelitian ini adalah Pemanfaatan Perpustakaan Sekolah Sebagai Sumber Belajar Siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi perpustakaan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar siswa, pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah, dan frekuensi kehadiran siswa keperpustakaan serta apa usaha yang dilakukan oleh pengelola perpustakaan agar siswa memanfaatkan perpustakaan sekolah di SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitiannya adalah survey. Subjek penelitiannya adalah pengelola perpustakaan, guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitiannya menunjukkan pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah telah dilakukan dengan baik dilihat dari fungsi, pengelolaan dan frekuensi kehadiran siswa dari bulan juli hingga oktober sebesar 76% sehingga untuk lebih memaksimalkan pemanfaatan perpustakaan diharapkan adanya kerjasama antara guru, siswa dan pengelola perpustakaan Kata kunci: Pemanfaatan, perpustakaan, dan sumber belajar

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kosakata makanan tradisional Melayu Sambas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan BMDS (Bahasa Melayu dialek Sambas) yang dituturkan oleh penutur asli masyarakat desa Mekar Sekuntum, desa Trimandayan, dan desa Semata. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata-kata yang mengandung kosakata dalam makanan tradisional Melayu Sambas berupa bahan, alat, cara membuat, bentuk, warna dan hasil. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simak dan cakap yang memiliki teknik dasar berupa pemancingan terhadap narasumber yang merupakan penutur asli BMDS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang ada, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam BMDS terdapat 33 kosakata makanan tradisional berupa bahan, 19 kosakata makanan tradisonal berupa alat, 9 kosakata makanan tradisional berupa cara membuat, 11 kosakata makanan tradisional berupa bentuk, 12 kosakata makanan tradisional berupa warna dan 35 hasil kosakata makanan tradisional Melayu Sambas. Kata Kunci : Kosakata, Makanan Tradisional, Makna Abstract: This research aims to descripsion vocabulary in Malay Sambas traditional food. The methods this research used is descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. Data resources in this research is native language BMDS (Sambas Malay a dialect) by native speakers of Mekar Sekuntum Village, Trimandayan village, and Semata village. Data in this research is words containing vocabulary in Malay Sambas traditional food. Such as material, tool, manner of making, form, color, and results. The techniques used is this research are listening and speaking techniques basic form of fishing grounds against speakers BMDS. Based on the data the analysis can be deduced in BMDS there are 33 vocabularies such as materials, 19 vocabularies such as tools, 9 vocabularies such as manner of making, 11 vocabularies such as form, 12 vocabularies such as colors and 35 vocabularies of the Malay Sambas traditional food. Abstract

The title of this study is "The impact of the habit of social irregularities of drinking alcohol at the students of Kapuas Hulu Regency". A general problem of research is how the impact of drinking habits at the students of Kapuas Hulu Regency on Jl. Budi Karya Pontianak. The purpose of this study is to know and describe the impact of drinking habits on lectures and interactions of Kapuas Hulu students. The approach used is qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews, and lectures documentation, with data collection tools such as observation guides, interview guides, and documentation. The analysis in this study is presented descriptively qualitative by using informans as many as 16 people, consisting of 13 students who do social deviation drinking alcohol as a subject and 3 people as crosschek community. The results of this study indicate that the habit of social deviation drinking badly affect the lectures and interactions of Kapuas Hulu Kapuas students with the community. Based on the observations, interviews, and documentation that the researchers have conducted, proves that the habit of social deviation from drinking can be bad for the lectures and interaction of Kapuas Hulu students with the community. Keywords: Social Deviance, Habit of  Drinking
