Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing pada materi larutan penyangga. Melalui penelitian ini dideskripsikan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 5 Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan one shot case study. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi langsung menggunakan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains dan komunikasi langsung dengan wawancara. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 3 dan XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan cluster random sampling dan diperoleh kelas XI IPA 4 dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki keterampilan  proses sains dalam mengajukan pertanyaan, berhipotesis, mengamati, mengumpulkan data,  menafsirkan data dan berkomunikasi berturut-turut sebesar 60%, 73%, 98%, 100%, 69%  dan  73%. Kata kunci: Inkuiri terbimbing, Larutan penyangga   Abstract: This research aims to implement a practical method based guided inquiry on buffer solution?s matter. Through this research, student?s science process skills of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak was described. This study uses a pre - experimental method with one- shot case study design. Data was collected by direct observation using science process skill?s observation sheets and direct communication with the interview . The population in this research were students of class XI IPA 3 and XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak. Determination of the sample using random cluster sampling and obtained a class XI IPA 4 with a sample of 30 people . The result showed that the students have the science process skills in asking the question , hypothesize , observe , collect data , interpret the data and communicate respectively 60%, 73%, 98%, 100%, 69% and 73%.   Keywords: Guided inquiry, Buffer solution

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed at determining the factors that affect students’ learning difficulties in understanding the learning material about the values of Pancasila in the administration of government, the PPKn subject in 10 th -grade of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in SMAN 7 Pontianak. The method used in this study is descriptive with qualitative form. The data were collected using direct observation technique, interview, and documenter study technique. The subjects in this study were the teacher of the PPKn subject and the 10 th -grade students Mathematics and Natural Science 4, resulted in the data obtained in  the form of the interview result. The findings indicated that there were external and internal factors affecting students’ learning difficulties in understanding the material. Internal factors included intelligence and learning success, learning attitudes, motivation, concentration, habits, and physical health, as well as external factors, consist of the teaching methods, school discipline, and social environment such as peers.Keywords: Factors in Learning Difficulties, PPKn, Values of Pancasila

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the desire to apply the value of patriotism to students through the novel Gerilja Keluarga by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. The common problem in this research is "What is the value of patriotism in the novel Gerilja Keluarga by Pramoedya Ananta Toer and its implementation as learning in school?". This general problem is limited to 4 subproblems. The purpose of this study is to describe 4 of these sub-problems, while this research is useful for researchers to add knowledge and insight in analyzing literary works, can be used by teachers and students as learning media and as a comparison material for other research.The theory used in this study relates to the value of patriotism, figures, and characterizations. This research uses descriptive methods, qualitative research forms, and uses a sociological approach to literature. The source of research data is the novel Gerilja Keluarga by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Data collection techniques in this study are documentation, interview, and note taking techniques. The data in this study are patriotism values which are reflected in words, expressions and quotes contained in the Gerilja Family novel.Based on research conducted, researchers managed to collect and analyze 67 quotes that illustrate the value of patriotism contained in the Gerilja Family novel.Keywords: patriotism value, characterization, novel.

Abstract

AbstractThe aimof this study is to improve activity and achievement of students of Madrasah Aliah (MA) Alhabib Sholeh convey electrolyte solution and non electrolyte through experiment method. To this, observation and achievement test used as data collection tools. The participants of this study were 26 students of X B class. The instruments used in this research were the observation sheet and learning achievement test.The results showed that the application of the assignment methods can increase the percentage of students with learning activities of 30,76% in cycle 1 becomes 57,69% in cycle II. The results of the study showed an increase in the percentage of students from 34,61% in cycle 1 becomes 69,23% in cycle II. The increase in activities that occur from cycle 1 to cycle II of 26,93% and improved learning achivement that occur from cycle 1 to cycle II of 34,62%. In conclusion, experiment method is able to improve activity and achievement of students. Keywords: learning activities, practical methods, and the results of the study.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh remediasi menggunakan strategi pembelajaran PDEODE terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi suhu dan kalor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Experimental dengan rancangan One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan tes berbentuk esai yang terdiri dari 6 soal yang mewakili tiga proses kognitif Bloom yang telah direvisi kepada 29 siswa SMA kelas X. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, rata-rata persentase peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa untuk tiap proses yaitu membandingkan sebesar 24.14%, merangkum sebesar 6.89%, dan mengklasifikasikan sebesar 45.68%. selanjutnya, dengan taraf signifikansi (?) sebesar 5% diperoleh p = 0,000 dan Z = -4,729, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran PDEODE berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa. Adapun nilai efektifitas dari penelitian ini adalah 2.3 yang dihitung menggunakan Cohen?s Efffect size.   Kata kunci : Remediasi, Pemahaman Konsep, Strategi PDEODE Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the effect of remediation using PDEODE learning strategies to increase concept understanding of student on heat and temperature. This research used Pre-Experimental methode One-group pretest-posttest design. Data collecting was done by giving the test in the form of essay comprised 6 questions by representing three Bloom?s revisied cognitive process on understanding level. The test was administered to 29 grade 10th students. The result shows that the average percentage of increasing the student's concept understanding in each process are 24.14% for comparing, 6.89% for summarizing, and 45.68% for classifying. Furthermore, with a significance level (?) of 5% obtained p = 0.000 and Z = -4.729, this shows PDEODE learning strategy can affect to increase of student's understanding of concept and the effect size of this study is 2.3. Abstract

AbstractLate habit is an action of comming to a place or an event past the agreed time. Thishappens because the school is less firm in implementing the existing rules and as the form of students’ indiscipline. Every student in SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya is expected to have a disciplined attitude but in fact, there still can be found late students everyday. In general, this study aims to obtain an overview of "Late Habit of Students at SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya". (1) Factors that cause students lateness at SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. (2) The impact that occurs on late students at SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. (3) Efforts done by BK teachers towards late students in SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. The method used in this study was descriptive method and the form of the research was survey research. The subjects in this study were three students and their close friends as well as 2 BK teachers. This study used qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the factors causing students to be late were (1) they usually woke up late, (2) They were lack of preparation for class activities, (3) They had problem with their vehicle. The impact of being late is (1) low grades, (2) Relationships with teachers were disrupted, (3) Relationships with classmates were disrupted. The efforts made by the BK teachers in solving these “late habit” cases were (1) giving sanctions or punishments, and (2) calling the parents. Keywords: Students, Habit, Late

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine differences in students 'science process skills before and after practicum methods are applied and to determine the magnitude of the improvement of practicum methods for students' science process skills in the material of Acid, Bases, and Salt Seventhegrade students’ of SMP Negeri 08 Pontianak. The form of research used was pre-experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest design research design. The sample selection technique is done by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection tools used were the initial Science Process Skills test instrument, the final Science Process Skills, and interview guidelines. The test questions are validated using the validity of the Gregory test. The test questions used in the form of essays with indicator indicators are observing, classifying and predicting and have a validity spread of 1 of the two validators with very high categories. Test questions are reliably using Cronbach alpha. The reliability result is 0.6 with a high category so that the test questions are feasible to use.There are differences in students' science process skills before and after practicum methods applied in Acid, Basa, and Salt material for Seventhegrade students’ of SMP Negeri 08 Pontianak. From the N-Gain calculation results obtained by 0.4 with the medium category, this shows that learning with practicum methods has an enhancement on the science process skills in acid, basic, and salt Seventhegrade students’ of SMP Negeri 08 Pontianak.Keywords: Practical Method, Science, Acid, Base, Salt Process Skills

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out the level of the effectiveness of using crossword puzzle to enrich the vocabulary of Year-8 students of “SMPN 16 Pontianak” in Academic Year 2014/2015. This research was a pre-experimental study. The sample was a purposive sampling, that is, Class VIII E that consists of 36 students. The data were collected from the pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed by using Effect Size (ES) formula. The research finding shows that the effect size of the treatment is 1.27 (> 1.00). It is categorized “strong”. It indicates that crossword puzzle is very effective to teach vocabulary to Year-8 students. Key words: crossword puzzle, teaching vocabulary Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektifitas dari crossword puzzle untuk memperkaya kosa kata siswa kelas 8 SMPN 16 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini adalah sebuah penelitian pre-experimental. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII E yg terdiri atas 36 siswa. Data-data di ambil dengan menerapkan rumus ES (tingkat efektifitas). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat efektifitas dari penggunaan crossword puzzle adalah 1.27 (> 1.00). Hasil ini dikategorikan memiliki efek yang kuat. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa crossword puzzle sangat efektif utuk mengajarkan kosa kata kepada siswa kelas 8. Kata kunci: crossword puzzle, mengajarkan vocabulary

Abstract

Abstract The method used in this research is descriptive research method with the form of research used in qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the X grade students of SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. The data collection techniques used in this study were direct communication techniques, observation. The results of the research were: 1) The role of the PPKn teacher in time discipline in class X SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak violated by students that is coming late, in and out of class, clothes are removed this is the most common violation of X students in SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak. 2) The role of the PPKn teacher in the discipline of enforcing the rules in class X of SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak is very good, this can be seen from the assertiveness of the teacher in enforcing existing rules or regulations to students who commit violations. 3) The role of the teacher in applying discipline to overcome attitudes Class X students at SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak, very good, this can be seen from the assertiveness of teachers in enforcing the rules or regulations that exist to students who commit violations. Keyword : The Role of Teachers, PPKn, Discipline.

Abstract

Abstrak.Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini karena saat berkomunikasi, terjadilah penyampaian pesan atau penyampaian maksud penutur kepada mitra tuturnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tindak tutur ilokusi dalam buku “Petuah Tanah Leluhur: Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Kalimantan Barat”. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Bentuk dalam penelitian ini digunakan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa di dalam buku Petuah Tanah Leluhur Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Kalimantan Barat digunakan tindak tutur ilokusi dalam bentuk arsetif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif, dan deklarasi. Tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat dalam buku Petuah Tanah Leluhur Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Kalimantan Barat ini berjumlah 35 data dengan rincian 4 tindak tutur arsetif, 19 tindak tutur direktif, 5 tindak tutur ekspresif, 2 tindak tutur komisif dan 5 tindak tutur deklaratif. Kata Kunci: Tindak Tutur, Tindak Tutur Ilokusi, Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Abstract. Background of this research is when do communication, it will happen deliver message or deliver purpose of speaker to his friend. The purpose of this research is to describe ilocution speech in Ancestors Religious Advice: West Borneo folk story book". Method of this research is decriptive method. Data form of this research is qualitative research. Based on data analyze result has found if in this Ancestors Religious Advice of West Borneo Folk Story Book is used as ilocution speech act in form of assertive, directive, expressive, commitive and declarative. Ilocution speech act that be found in this Ancestors Religious Advice of West Borneo folk Story Book amount of 35 data consist of 4 assertive speech acts, 19 directive speech acts, 5 expressive speech acts, 2 commitive speech acts and 5 declarative speechacts.
