Abstract

This study aims to determine how much the influence of the use of the discussion method on the Learning Outcomes of Students in Social Studies Subjects for class VIII at SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. The method used in this study was a quantitative approach with descriptive research type (relationship study). The variables researched (X) with (Y). Based on the data analysis, the researchers concluded that: 1) The use of the Group Discussion Method for class VIII had a moderate category with data acquisition as many as 30 (67.4%) students in thatcategory. 2) Social Studies Subject Learning Outcomes obtained from the data processing results obtained as many as 33 (64.71%) students In the medium category who obtained learning outcomes more than the Maximum Completeness Criteria (KKM). 3) The magnitude of the influence of the use of the Group Discussion Method on the Learning Outcomes of Social Studies Subjects Class VIII SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak resulted in the value of t count ≥ t table (3,685≥2,010) thus Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the R2 test, it was obtained that the magnitude of the effect of using the group discussion  method on learning outcomes was 20.1%.

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to determine the students’ problem-solving ability of class X in SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien on straight motion material. The study used a survey method involving 23 students of class X. The students’ problem-solving ability was measured using a test instrument of 5 description questions. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the average percentage of students' problem-solving abilities in aspect A, namely the ability to process problems, was 21.52% (less category), the percentage in aspect B, namely the ability to describe problems, was 36.74% (less category), the percentage in aspect C, namely the ability to plan solutions by 29.35% (poor category). Then, the percentage in aspect D, namely the ability to implement solution plans, 25.87% (poor category), the percentage in aspect E, namely the ability to evaluate solutions, is 7.83% (very poor category). Thus, the overall percentage of students' problem-solving abilities is 24.26% (less category). In the independent t-test results obtained Asym.sig 2-Tailed of 0.377 (> 0.05), it was concluded that there had not been any significant difference in problemsolving ability between male and female students. The study is expected to be used as a reference in improving students' problem-solving abilities in straight motion material.Keywords: Gender, Problem-solving Ability, Straight Motion

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims at seeing the effect of the Small Group Discussion Method on Student’s Reading Comprehension in the level of XI Senior High School. The form of this research is library research. This research was done by analyzing three research journals on the Small Group Discussion Method. The researcher uses three reserch relevant journals from Darise with pre-Experimental research design, Noorhaya Sari using pre- Experimental research design, and Nur Indah with Pre-Experimental design. All the data sources taken from online resource. After the researcher analzing the data, the researcher found that, from Nilma Darise, the data showed Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted because the t-ratio value was higher than the t-critical value (3.76> 2.00). Nur Indah t ratio value is also higher than the t- critical value (9.30>1.72). Noorhaya Sari). Then, t- ratio value is higher than t-critical value (10.270 > 2.032). Apart from different techniques and samples of the analysis, all the resources show that the Small Group Discussion is able in improving student’s reading comprehension. In the other words that Small GroupDiscussion Method on Student’sReading Comprehension affect significantly to the Student’s Eleventh Grade Senior Highschool.Keywords: Reading Comprehension, Small Group Discussion Method

Abstract

The research on the poem "Heroes Who Become Heroes" is motivated by the existence of poetry that is rarely heard by some people. The research on the pretended hero poem is motivated by the existence of the pretended hero poem drowning at this time, especially the Indonesian people who look down on, do not order, and not aesthetic. The research method used is a qualitative method using descriptive techniques that describe the condition of the subject and object of research based on existing data. The birth of the heroic heroic poem was originally driven by an imbalance in the meaning of the words hero and heroic in everyday life. After the writer looks for references and gets the date about the poetry to be studied, the writer will present it in this article. Remy Sylado not only broke the feudal attitude and the New Order regime, but also legalized or formalized literary aesthetic view of mbeling poetry.

Abstract

AbstractIn addition to intellectual intelligence that must be mastered by individuals, intelligence is very important to master. In this case, if a person can master emotional intelligence, he can develop the ability to understand his own feelings, other people's feelings, and be able to motivate himself and others. The general problem in this research is: “Whether group guidance can improve students' emotional intelligence. While the intelligence sub-problem:(1) How is intelligence intelligence in students before group guidance is carried out, (2) How is group guidance planning to improve students 'emotional intelligence, (3) How is the implementation of group guidance to improve students' emotional intelligence, (4) ) How is the emotional intelligence of students after group guidance is implemented. The variables in the study consisted of problem variables: Emotional Intelligence, action variables: Group Guidance, 7 participants who had moderate levels of emotional intelligence with 5 aspects were (1) Recognizing self-emotions, (2) Managing emotions, (3) Motivating self, (4) Recognizing other people's emotions, (5) Building relationships with others. The method used is descriptive method and the form of the research is Counseling Guidance Action Research. The data collection technique used interviews and questionnaires, while the data analysis technique used the proportion formula and the T-Test formula. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Group Guidance, Increase.

Abstract

With the covid-19 virus outbreak that hit Indonesia and even the world, the government is now implementing a bold learning system in all schools in Indonesia to decide the spread of the covid-19 virus. By implementing a bold learning system, of course, students will adapt to PJOK learning that is carried out online, this will certainly lead to student perceptions of courageous learning. The purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions of learning PJOK boldly. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey method where data collection uses a questionnaire. The population in this study were junior high school students and the sample of this study was students atSMP N 5 Satap Belitang Hilir class VII, VIII and IX which collected 64 students. The results of the study were obtained in the Very positive category = 5% or 3 students, in the Positive category = 31% or 20 students, in the Medium category = 33% or 21 students, in the Negative category = 25% or 16 students, in the Very Negative category = 6% or 4 students. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that students' perceptions of learning PJOK bravely are dominant in the Medium category. the category is being compiled as a lack of effective PJOKlearning at SMP N 5 Satap Belitang Hilir

Abstract

This research aims to find out and describe the implementation ofonline learning using google meet and whatsapp conducted by teachersin teaching mathematics at Singkawang State Junior High School 4.The research methods used in this study are descriptive. The subjectsin this study were 13 learners. The data collection tools used areobservation sheets, learning outcomes, and questionnaires. Based onthe results of observations, the implementation of online learningcarried out by teachers is mostly in accordance with the learningimplementation plan. Student learning activities in online learning areclassified as inactive with a percentage of 40%. The learning results oflearners in flat side room building materials are classified as highcompletion of at least 75% of 85%. Students' response to theimplementation of online learning using google meet and whatsapp isrelatively positive with a percentage of 73.65%.

Abstract

AbstractWhatsApp is an instant messaging app. By using WhatsApp, users can communicate anywhere and anytime with people who also have the application as long as it is connected to the internet network connection. WhatsApp's use of influence on child and parent interactions is crucial given the increasingly sophisticated development of many children affected by WhatsApp resulting in less interaction with parents. The method used is descriptive method and the form of research is a form of relationship studies. This research is a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques and data collection tools with questionnaires or questionnaires. While the technique of data analysis using the percentage formula. Based on the results of this study pengapug utilization of WhatsApp on the interaction of children and parents in students class VII SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak achieve score in the category of "Good". Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how the performance of teachers, principal transactionalleadership, and teacher work motivation, and how the influence of each and all variablessimultaneously. The general objective of this study was to determine the effect oftransactional leadership and teacher work motivation on teacher performance at SMPNegeri Se, District of Rasau Kubu Raya, Indonesia. This study uses quantitative researchmethods and uses a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The subjects of this studywere 83 junior high school teachers in the district of Rasau Jaya Kubu Raya. Thecharacteristics are a permanent teacher, a minimum of two years of service, civil servantstatus or not, and a bachelor's degree. The results of the study are: (1) the description ofthe teacher's performance is high (35.84%) and the score variation is 174-188; (2) thedescription of transactional leadership is quite good (39.23%) and the score variation is238 - 256; (3) the teacher's work motivation is classified as good (30.19%) and thevariation score is 105-116; (4) transactional leadership has an effect on teacherperformance; (5) school climate has an effect on teacher achievement motivation; and (5)simultaneously transactional leadership and teacher work motivation affect teacherperformance. The conclusion of this study is that the performance of teachers at SMPNegeri Se District of Rasau Jaya Kubu Raya is influenced by the principal's transactionalleadership and teacher work motivation of 43.90%. Abstract

AbstractThe thesis "The Act of Ilokusi in The Novel Arah Langkah by Fiersa Besari."This research is based on the basis that there is no misunderstanding of the reader'sspeech contained in the novel. The method used in this study is to use descriptivemethods. The form of research used is qualitative research. The data source in thisstudy is the novel Arah Langkah by Fiersa Besari. The data in this study is thefollow-up to the novel Arah Langkah by Fiersa Besari in the form of speech, words,.Data analysis tecniques use speaking techniques with context analysis.Based on theresults of data description and data analysis, it can be concluded that the action ofilokusi in the novel Arah Langkah by Fiersa Besari amounted to 125 speeches. First,the act of speech asertif ilokusi amounted to 31 speeches, second, the act of speechilokusi directive to 57 speeches, third, expressive ilokusi action amounted to 25speeches, fourth, the act of speech ilokusi komisif amounted to 6 speeches, fifth, theact of declarative ilokusi amounted to 6 speeches.
