The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using interview techniques and documentation tools, data collection tools, namely a combination of interviews and documentation, technical data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification, and triangulation testing the validity of the data. The results showed that the understanding of parents who included children in early childhood education institutions already understood what early childhood education was based on the results of research and interviews conducted by parents who were able to explain what early childhood education was, but from some parents who included children In early childhood education institutions there are still some parents who do not understand what early childhood education is. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to develop a thematic e-module for class IV Elementary Schoolstudent learning. The e-Module development uses the research and developmentmethod of the Dick and Carey product development design model. Data obtainedthrough conservation activities, interviews and documentation. The results of thestudy are in the form of thematic e-Module development products. The thematic e-Module products have been validated by three experts, the three experts gave agood value which means that the product was suitable for use in the field. Based onfield trials namely one-to-one trials, small group trials, and large group trials alsoget a positive response that the e-Module product felt a change in learningactivities. the main field trials obtained the following results, the pretest resultsobtained an average of 51.59 then 73.87 posttest results and after calculated withthe t test, the results obtained, t count 21, 593 and t table 0,000 because t count isgreater than t table, then there are differences from before and after the use of e-Modules. based on these calculations it can be concluded that the e-thematicModule is effectively used as teaching material. Keywords: e-Module, Thematic

Abstract

This research is intended to detect the misconception about parabolic motion of the tenth grade students of SMA N 6 Pontianak. The test items are adapted from the diagnostic tests which have been developed and have also met the required criteria of Lila (2017). There are 24 items of diagnostic tests. The research simple consists of 36 students which are the tenth grade students of SMA N 6 Pontianak. The result shows that 58,33% students stated that the maximum speed is when an object is on the top; 27,78% students stated that the minimum speed is on the farthest point; 30,56% students stated that the smallest the elevation angle the more time is needed; 91,67% students stated that the largest the elevation angle the farthest an object can reach; 63,89% students stated that the speed of axis x is different from the initial speed; 75% students stated that the time need will be different when two object are dropped together on different tracks; 63,89% students stated that an object dropped at a certain height will form parabolic motion track which was seen by observer as a pilot; 55,56% students stated that an object dropped at a certain height will form a backward parabolic motion track seen by observer from the ground. Hopefully the findings of this research will be used as additional reference when choosing the right treatment to solve the misconception.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze students' mathematical beliefs in resolving word problems on the one-variable linear equation material based on the level of students' mathematical abilities. This research used qualitative methods with case study research. The data were obtained from the results of the word problems test, questionnaire, and interview. The subjects in this study were 6 students, consist of 2 students with high mathematical abilities, 2 students with medium mathematics abilities, and 2 students with low mathematics abilities. Selection of subjects based on report cards for the even semester in the academic year 2019/2020. The results showed that 1) 1 highly capable subject was able to comply five of the six mathematical belief scales, namely difficult problems, understanding, the importance of word problems, effort, and usefulness of mathematics, while 1 other subject was able to comply four of the six mathematical belief scales, namely difficult problems, understanding, effort, and usefulness of mathematics 2) 1 medium capable subject is able to comply four of the six mathematical belief scales, namely difficult problems, understanding, the importance of word problems, effort, and usefulness of mathematics, while 1 other subject is able to comply five of the six mathematical belief scales, namely difficult problems, understanding, importance word problem, effort, and usefulness of mathematics. 3) 1 lowly capable subject is able to comply three of the six mathematical belief scales, namely difficult problems, the importance of word problems, and effort, while 1 other subject is only able to comply two of the six mathematical belief scales, namely the effort and usefulness of mathematics. Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted on The Malay community of Mempawah. The purpose ofthe research was to know the people's rational behavior among the community on someaspects such as tradeoff, opportunity cost, marginalism, and incentive. This researchwas qualitative with the phenomenological approach. The samples were 14 peopletaken using the snowball sampling technique. Based on the result, the aspect of tradeoffoccurred in some cases such as the consideration of participation on robo-robo andbuang-buang, the gift selection in the wedding party, and the yarn's option for kaintenun awan berarak. In the robo-robo, the opportunity cost was the cost of sound systemrental. The cost determination was the opportunity cost of the wedding party, and theopportunity cost of kain tenun awan berararak was the cost of the yarn. Themarginalism aspect, for robo-robo the aspect was the additional cost of sound systemrental, in the wedding party was the increased cost on the box rental and the purchaseof toana tools. The incentive aspect of robo-robo was on the economic improvement for society. The incentive of wedding party was on tarop's making, and kain tenun awanberarak was the participation in the training as the reward. Keywords: Incentive, Marginalism, Opportunity Cost, Tradeoff.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the analysis process and detect the relationship between amathematical conceptual understanding of Algebra, Functions, and Straight Lines withStructural Equation Modeling (SEM). This research is Research and Development(R&D) and Applied Research (AR), wherein this research development, correlation, and experimentation are carried out. The mathematical conceptual understanding testwas developed through the formative research stage, which is preliminary; thepreparation, and design phase, then followed by the formative evaluation; one-to-one,expert review, small group, and field tests. The tests carried out on the test items showa significant level of validity and there are some data that have high levels of outliers,so that must be removed. At the Goodness-of-Fit stage, there are several indicators thatmust be issued because they have a low level of feasibility informing the model. Theresults of the analysis in the study indicate that not all indicators of mathematicalconceptual understanding of each subject have feasibility in the structural model. Theresults of SEM, it is known that there is a significant relationship between amathematical conceptual understanding of Algebra learning subject and the subjectafterward (the Functions and Straight Lines). Keywords: Algebra, Applied Research (AR), Conceptual Understanding Test,Formative Research, Functions, Straight Lines, Structural EquationModeling (SEM), Research and Development (R&D).
