Abstract

AbstractLiterature works come in many forms and types, one of which is films. Films are categorized as forms of drama in which the artistic works are realized through acting. In today"™s society, film industry is one of the most influential sectors of modern society. Among many reasons, film can entertain, educate and inspire viewers in many ways. As one of the elements in a story, characters in films have been the target of literature analysis due to its significance role in the development of a story. Thus, this study aims to analyze the characterization of the main character in the Phantom of the Opera"™s film. The focus on the analysis is on The Phantom himself or known as Erik. This research analyzes how the character of Erik is portrayed in the film through his dialogue and interaction with other characters. The theory that supports this thesis is psychology of literature by Robbert (Jeff) and Paul Costa. This thesis used descriptive qualitative research. The researcher watch the film and read the script, collect the data, analyzed the data, and concluded the data. The findings revealed that the main character has high neuroticism that is the susceptibility to experience negative emotions. The main character showed a lot of negative emotions such as anger, anxiety, frustration, vulnerable, guilt, manipulative, insecure, selfconsciousness, and aggressive.Keywords: Analysis, character analysis, the phantom of the opera

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the feasibility and the response has of teachers to formative tests oriented Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on thermochemical materials. This research is development research (R&D) that referring to an addie development model adapted by an analysis, a design, Development, and the evaluation. The feasibility assessment of development results is the carryout by material experts and evaluations as well as linguists. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that hotsoriented formative tests are reviewed from the validity of the material and the evaluation and the language is considered very feasible with a percentage of 100%. The teacher a response to the development results was excellent with a percentage of 85.19%. The results of this study are very feasible for teachers to use in the evaluation of learning on thermochemical materials.Keywords: A formative Test, HOTS, Thermochemical, ADDIE.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas integrasi aplikasi Kalkulator.oi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 22 Ketapang dan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini, metode eksperimen diterapkan untuk membandingkan perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan aplikasi Kalkulator.oi. Data hasil belajar dikumpulkan dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon, setelah uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data tidak terdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam hasil belajar matematika peserta didik setelah penggunaan aplikasi Kalkulator.oi. Analisis perbedaan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test mengungkapkan bahwa semua peserta didik mengalami kemajuan yang berarti dalam pemahaman dan prestasi mereka di bidang matematika. Nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh dari uji statistik berada di bawah 0,05 yang menandakan bahwa aplikasi ini memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar aplikasi Kalkulator.oi diintegrasikan secara lebih luas dalam proses pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar. Penggunaan aplikasi ini dianggap sebagai media pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif dalam mendukung pemahaman konsep matematika. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk melibatkan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar serta variasi kelas yang berbeda guna memperoleh hasil yang lebih komprehensif dan representatif. Selain itu, eksplorasi terhadap persepsi peserta didik mengenai penggunaan aplikasi ini sebagai alat bantu belajar juga penting dilakukan. Hal ini akan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana aplikasi Kalkulator.oi dapat diterima dan dimanfaatkan dalam konteks pembelajaran yang lebih luas.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the use of learning models in history subjects in class XI SMAN 2Pontianak. This research qualitative with a case study oncoming. Data collection techniques, used aninterviews, and documentation. The research subjects were history teachers and students. The resultsshowing: 1) how to determine the learning model of history subjects in class XI SMAN 2 Pontianak,namely adjusting the learning model with the material, time, available facilities and the abilities ofstudents 2)implementation of the learning model of history subjects class XI SMAN 2 Pontianak,namely by preparing lesson plans for learning models and preparing the material presented. 3)constraints in the use of learning models in history subjects in class XI SMAN 2 Pontianak, namely thelack of time in learning, facilities and infrastructure and class conditions that are less conducive. Abstract

The thing of this research was to explain the enhancement of cognitive capacities using learning video media in children progressed 5-6 times at TK Islamiyah Pontianak Tenggara. This study used action exploration styles with a quantitative approach. With data sources 1 schoolteacher in group B4 and 8 children used as research subjects. The focus of research is cognitive capacities. The research was conducted in II cycles conforming of 4 capabilities each cycle, that is planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted collaboratively between the experimenter and the schoolteacher of group B4. In this research, observation, interview, and documents were used to collect data. The results showed that the I cycle lesson planning was still lacking in preparing learning resources and discussion questions. In the II cycle, the preparation of learning resources improved significantly, teachers became more active in dealing with problems. Cycle I learning implementation showed that the volume and brightness settings of the projector, recording progress, and evaluation were not maximized. In cycle II, the teacher has maximized the implementation of learning. Then, if the child has not understood the material, the child asks to rewind and pause the video to understand.The results of the first cycle assessment, there were still some children who could not mention the number symbols 1 to 10, use the number symbols to count, and could not match the numbers with the number symbols.  In Cycle II, children's cognitive development increased, children could perform the 3 criteria for symbolic thinking.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how to implement the strengthening of disciplinary character education in the PPKn learning process in class X IPS 3 SMAN 5 Pontianak Utara. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative form of research approach. Sources of data in this study were PPKn teachers and 6 students of class X IPS 3 SMAN 5 Pontianak Utara. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation techniques, interview techniques, documentary study techniques, with data collection tools used are observation sheets, interview sheets, and documentaries. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are that the teacher and the school have implemented the character of discipline in school and in the classroom during the learning process, but there are still students who do not obey the rules or agreements made by teachers and students at the beginning of learning. The factors that cause students to violate rules or agreements are internal factors such as lazy students, everything they want is instant, as well as family problems, and external factors such as the number of students who are too large so that teachers cannot optimally manage the class, and the lack of supporting facilities in learning. Various efforts have been made by the teacher, starting from giving admonitions, warnings, advice, direction, and approaching students, as well as applying sanctions or penalties to students who violate rules or agreements. Keywords: Discipline, Implementation, Strengthening Character Education.

Abstract

Servant leadership realizes and appreciates that he as a servant leader provides life examples. Stewardship leadership influences, controls, coordinates, and leads for one great purpose.The purpose or problem under study is to understand how the leadership of school chaplain stewardship can increase the value of Methodist excellence at SMP Methodist Sanggau Ledo. This form of research uses a descriptive method with a case study approach and type of research. The research subjects were 7 participants. The number of students is 2 people, 1 male and 1 female aged 15 years; male school chaplain 1 person aged 32 years; the principal of the Sanggau Ledo Methodist Junior High School, 1 woman, 34 years old; Parents/community about 1 male aged 59 years. 1 female teacher, 38 years old, 1 Central Chaplain Coordinator. Sampling using snowball sampling, considering the large number of informants. The method used is interviews, direct observation, and retrieval of several documents. Using instruments in research include interview guides/interviews; observation guide; document.The main finding in this study is that the leadership of school chaplain stewardship in increasing the value of excellence at SMP Methodist Sanggau Ledo, is well implemented. It can be seen from the character of school principals and teachers who instill the value of balance in faith and knowledge; self-control; adopt a simple lifestyle; work ethic and spirit of service; lifelong learning. Shown at school or when students are in dormitories. The conclusions of this study are (1) the implementation of the school chaplain stewardship leadership framework in increasing the value of methodist excellence, shows good results. (2) The steps of chaplain stewardship leadership, shown by an attitude of listening, caring, etc. (3) the supporting factors of stewardship leadership are humble, open attitude. The inhibiting factor is the lack of transparency, and mutual respect.The implication of the results of this study is that the involvement of chaplains who lead and influence sincerely and patiently can achieve the goal of excellence value very well..

Abstract

Abstract The purpose to describe Thematic Learning Device Analysis With Scientific Approach In Covid-19 Pandemic period in Grade IV. The method in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative. In the study is Guru. Data collection instruments in the study are Non Participan, in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and triangulation. Data triangulation is done in two ways, namely source triangulation and triangulation method. The results showed that in planning learning to compile rpp teachers first review the syllabus, KD, defense measures, and assessments in the teacher's book then increase or decrease the indicators by addressing activity student book. Rpp and syllabus created by teachers already contain components that must be present in rpp school identity, classroom/semester, theme identity, subtheme, allocation of time, core competencies, basic competencies, indicators, objectives, methods, media, tools, learning resources, and defense measures, but basically even in the period of covid-19 RPP should be re-adjusted in this pandemic period. In carrying out learning teachers carry out online learning using whatsapp and zoom apps. The teacher's penialain is just knowledge. Keywords : Analysis, Approach, Scientific, Thematic Learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce an online test using gnomio in ICT learning for high school students. To achieve the research objectives, the Research and Development (R&D) method was used with the development design procedure using Borg and Gall. The research instrument uses documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques for validation of material and media experts and user trials using descriptive statistics. The results of the research and development trial show that the online test using gnomio is proven to be feasible to use as an online test using gnomio. The percentage of response values in the first stage of the trial was 78.75% with the "Positive" criteria, the percentage of the response values in the second stage of the trial was 84.38% with the "Positive" criteria, and the percentage of the response values in the field trials was 91.33%. with the criteria of "Very Positive". From the results of research and development of online tests using Gnomio, it is very helpful in conducting online test implementation and assessment. The conclusion of this study is that through the development of online tests using Gnomio for high school students, it is very helpful in the implementation of learning evaluation media in the form of online tests that can be run either on computer or smartphone media.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the application of the demonstration method through folding activities to improve fine motor skills for children aged 5- 6 years at Mulia Dharma Kindergarten, Pontianak. The research method is a descriptive method in the form of classroom action research. The subjects in the study were teachers of TK B class and early childhood in group B. The data collection techniques for this research were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: 1. Teacher planning, namely preparing research instruments and Daily Learning Implementation Plans in the application of the demonstration method through folding activities, there were ten children who had improved their fine motor skills. 2. The research was carried out in two cycles where each cycle consisted of two meetings. 3. The evaluation that the teacher uses is to use an assessment of the assignments and results of children's work in folding activities. 4. There was an improvement from both cycles by using the demonstration method through folding activities to improve the fine motor skills of group B children at Mulia Dharma Kindergarten Pontianak. The application of the demonstration method through folding activities to improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Mulia Dharma Kindergarten Pontianak has been carried out well.Keywords: Demonstration method, Fine motor, and Folding
