Abstract

AbstractThe background in this study is the function and moral value in the story of the origin of villages at the registered Kadriah Palace Pontianak. The study was intended to examine the function and describe the moral values. The description related due to the implementation in the school. The method used in this study is descriptive method of qualitative research. The source of the data in this study is the story of the origin of villages at the registered Kadriah Palace Pontianak which has four moral values namely (1) relationship between human and God, (2) relationship between human with personal self, (3) relationship between human beings, and (4) relationship between human and nature. The tool of data collection is the researcher himself as the key instrument. The result in this study can be implemented in school in the Indonesian language and literature subject at SMA/MA/SMK grade X (ten) in the odd semester.Keywords: Function, moral, the story of the origin of villages, Istana Kadriah, Pontianak City.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The source of the data for this research is the native speaker of the Sambas Malay language whose work is rice farmers and understands the concept of rice. The data obtained are in the form of words or phrases of the names of rice in Tangaran District, Sambas Regency, the lexical meaning of each rice variety, and the cultural meaning of rice naming. The data obtained in this study contained 62 data on types of rice in Tangaran District, Sambas Regency, with word forms totaling 17 data consisting of monomorphemic noun categories, phrase forms totaling 45 total data in noun categories, lexical meanings there were 62 data describing the physical condition of each type of rice, cultural meaning, there are 23 data that describe the cultural meaning contained in this type of rice. This research is associated with learning Indonesian for Class VII SMP in semester 1 of the 2013 curriculum which is used as teaching material for descriptive texts. There are 2 descriptive texts designed as teacher reviews, the texts are about rice pulut dade ruan and rice kak canting .

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of study was to find the result of learning model application of Talking Stick learning model in social science for grade 8th students of SMP Negeri 23 Pontianak.The method used in study was Experiments with of the Quasi Experimental Design and Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study sample was 67 students. Data collection techniques are through observation, measurement, and documentary study. Data collection tool used learning result test and observation sheet. The result using Talking Stick learning model on social studies the average  of 79.435 and the average  of 75.887 using conventional learning models on social studies grade 8th. The results of the t-test using Indenpenden Samples Test (-1.905<2.000) are in the reception area Ho. Student learning outcomes there was no difference between the learning model of talking stick and conventional models. The results of the average score of the first and second post-test meetings in the experimental class and control there were differences. So was not significant difference between learning result of students experiment using learning model talking stick and using conventional model. The effect size of the talking stick learning model on social science learning, grade 8th amounted to 0.452 in the medium category.Keywords: Learning Result, Social Science Learning, Talking Stick Learning Model

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the meaning of the symbol for the property ofthe Jepin Rajut Sempurong dance in the Serimbu Village community, AirBesar sub-district, Landak district. The property of Jepin Sempurongdance consists of three materials, that is rattan, cloth dan rope, the threematerials are formed into one unit. Rattan is interpreted as symbol of thecircle of brotherhood in the life of the serimbu village community, clothis interpreted as an intermediary or protector in a community life, ropeis interpreted as a binder in community life. So it can be concluded thatthe meaning of the symbol of the property of the jepin rajut sempurongdance in the serimbu village community is a circle of brotherhood insociety that must always be protected and tied so that it is not easilydivided.Keyword: Meaning Symbol, Property, Jepin Rajut Sempurong Dance

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the activities, attitudes of students, and actions. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. Sources of research data are PPKn Education teachers, and students of class X IIS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the activity of democratic values is that the teacher carries out activities in developing democratic values in the classroom through initial activities, core activities, and closing activities as the first step in learning activities in the classroom. With the teacher carrying out initial activities, core activities, and closing activities, the learning process will be more focused. The attitude of students in democratic values is to pray before starting lessons according to their respective religions and beliefs, respect differences of opinion, students understand diversity in race, ethnicity, religion classes, students carry out class picket schedules through deliberation, students who are brave when asking the teacher, do the assignments given by the teacher and are not noisy in class. The teacher's actions in democratic values are that the teacher gives tolerance, the democratic value of the teacher is open in communicating to students. and the democratic value of teachers in responsibility.Keywords: Implementation, Democratic Values, PPKn

Abstract

AbstractThis research was influenced by the occurrence of changes in the movement of the Jepin Langkah Bsimillah dance so that the researcher wants to maintain the authenticity of the Jepin Langkah Bismillah dance. This research uses the descriptive method in the qualitative form and uses the choreography approach. The interviewees in this research are Suhaili, Syamsul Watan and Alkhanul Khairat who know about the Jepin Langkah Bismillah dance in Siantan Hilir Village, North Pontianak District. The techniques of data collection used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity testing techniques used are the extension of observation and sources triangulation. Based on the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that the structures of the Jepin Langkah Bismillah dance movements at Siantan Hilir Village, North Pontianak District are as follows: There are 3 types of motion which are described based on the smallest part first, namely the motion motives, motion phrases, sentences of motion and groups of movement that become a unified whole of motions in the Jepin Langkah Bismillah dance. Jepin Langkah Bismillah consists of 108 motion motives, 97 motion phrases, 35 motion sentences and 4 motion groups with tahto as a liaison.Keywords: Motion Structure, Jepin Langkah Bismillah Dance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) How well students perceived entrepreneurial self-efficacy in marketable skill competence of SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. 2) What is the entrepreneurial motivation of Marketing Competence students at SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak, and 3) To what extent did entrepreneurial self-efficacy influence the entrepreneurial motivation of students participating in the Marketing Specialization Program at SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. Methods used were quantitative and descriptive methods. A total of 36 populations were randomly sampled. Data analysis used was simple linear regression. The results showed that 1) the students' perceptions of the ability of marketing skills about self-efficacy in entrepreneurship were in the very high category, representing 84.12%; 3) Entrepreneurial self-efficacy perception affects entrepreneurial motivation. The effect of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on students' entrepreneurial motivation in SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak's marketable skill competence was 35.1% from the SPSS 26 calculated results. A significant value was obtained.0.000 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence between entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial motivation of students in the market expertise competence of SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak.

Abstract

AbstractTechnological advances can be felt both directly and indirectly, marked by the development of the spread of internet networks that cover almost all social strata. In the last few years, electronic games or what we usually call online games have experienced very rapid development. The main objective of this study is to explain the implications of using gamesonline against antisocial behavior among adolescents in Sebagu Village, Teluk Keramat District, Sambas Regency. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods and data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation study. informants in this study were adolescents in general who play online games .The results of research and discussion that have been conducted by researchers, concluded that the behavior of using online games by adolescents causes adolescents to have anti-social behavior, the behavior of adolescents playing online games until late at night anddisturbing the general order. Online games are generally used for entertainment but what happens is online games are played excessively, used as a place to escape from the realities of life so that what happens is addictiononline game.Keywords : Adolescents, Anti-Social, Online Game

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of family environment and peer environment on interest in continuing graduate studies in undergraduate students of Economic Education FKIP Untan. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative type of research. The population in this study were undergraduate students of Economics Education Regular FKIP Untan class of 2019, 2020, and 2021 totaling 106 people. The results showed that: (1) There is no significant effect of family environment on the interest in continuing graduate studies as indicated by a significance value of 0.884 and a calculated t value of -0.147, (2) There is a significant effect of peer environment on interest in continuing graduate studies as indicated by a significance value of 0.012 and a calculated t value of 2.562 with an influence of 6.4%, (3) There is a significant effect of family environment and peer environment together on the interest in continuing graduate studies, indicated by a significance value of 0.041 and the value of F count 3.323 with an influence of 5.3%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the main factors causing students' learning difficulties and the teacher's efforts in overcoming the problems of students' learning difficulties during the COVID-19 pandemic in social studies subjects for class VII at SMP Negeri 03, Galing. The research method used was descriptive qualitative research. The informants were students of class VIIA and the teacher of social subjects. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collection tools were observation and interview guidelines, and documentation tools. The results of the study indicated: (1) the main factors causing students' learning difficulties can be observed from the aspects of internal and external factors. The internal factors can be observed from students' intelligence, attention, learning interest and motivation. While the external factors of students’ learning difficulties can be observed from the aspect of the school, which includes facilities, infrastructure, and their social environment, it can be concluded that the main factor was the aspect of attention. (2) the teacher's efforts in overcoming the problem of students' learning difficulties by finding out the learning problems faced by students, and the teacher's providing learning guidance, motivation, reprimanding students who do not focus on learning, and conducting remedial programs for students who do not reach the passing grade.
