Abstract

Bohay Paiton Beach, located in Probolinggo Regency, East Java, has developed into one of the leading tourist destinations with its alluring natural charm and culinary diversity served in cafes and restaurants around the beach. The increasing number of visitors each year, especially on weekends and the holiday season, has led to some eateries around the beach experiencing a surge in visitors, which triggers the need for an efficient reservation system. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the high demand for cafes and restaurants at Bohay Paiton Beach, as well as their impact on the tourist experience. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with direct observation, interviews with managers and visitors, and customer satisfaction surveys. The results of the study show that the main factors that attract tourists are the quality of food, natural scenery, and the comfortable atmosphere offered by cafes and restaurants around the beach. The reservation system has proven to have a positive impact on the culinary experience of visitors, but managers still face challenges in managing the number of visitors, especially those who come without reservations. This study also found that the existence of cafes and restaurants on Bohay Paiton Beach has a significant impact on the local economy and the tourism sector in Probolinggo. Therefore, better management, especially in the implementation of the reservation system and visitor management, is needed to improve the tourist experience and maximize the tourism potential in this area.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the influence of brand equity and brand identification variables on the purchasing decisions of Acaraki Generation Z in Jabodetabek. Previous research found a positive influence of brand equity (indicators of awareness, association, brand loyalty, perceived quality, and locality) on purchasing decisions. Previous research did not specifically mention brand names, did not have demographic limitations, and did not include brand evaluation indicators, so the author decided to conduct this research. Data collection uses questionnaires distributed to obtain respondents. The sample obtained was 201 respondents, but using the criteria of Generation Z and being familiar with Acaraki resulted in the selection of 153 respondents who were ready to process the data. The testing technique uses the SPSS 30 application with validity, reliability, and descriptive testing then multiple linear analysis. Brand equity and brand identification variables (indicators of awareness, association, brand loyalty, perceived quality and locality, as well as brand evaluation) have a significant positive influence on the purchasing decision of Acaraki. Academically, this research can provide direction for further research regarding Generation Z's attitudes towards herbal medicine. Practically, it was found that the strength of the Acaraki brand lies in the indicators of brand awareness, perceived quality, brand associations and brand loyalty. So, it can be used for marketing direction for Generation Z.

Abstract

Logistics management analysis in pharmacies is an important process to ensure efficiency in the management of drugs and health products. This study aims to evaluate the logistics management system or logistics management cycle applied in the Bersama Tuntungan II II pharmacy, by analyzing the process of planning, budgeting, procurement, storage, distribution or distribution, control, recording and reporting, to monitoring and evaluation. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, with data collection through in-depth interviews with pharmacy staff and direct observation of the ongoing logistics process. The results show that pharmacies have implemented most of the standard operating procedures, but there are still some weaknesses, such as the lack of an integrated record-keeping system and the reliance on manual record-keeping. In addition, drug demand planning is still intuitive and not fully data-based. Based on these findings, it is recommended to implement digital-based technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in logistics management in pharmacies and implement a pharmaceutical management information system (SIMF) to improve data efficiency and accuracy, as well as conduct training for pharmacy staff related to effective logistics management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the direct influence of lifestyle on product purchasing decisions at Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta, to determine and analyze the direct influence of store atmosphere on product purchasing decisions at Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta, to determine and analyze the direct influence of product value on product purchasing decisions at Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta and to determine and analyze the simultaneous influence of lifestyle, store atmosphere, product value on product purchasing decisions at Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta. This study uses a quantitative method with a sample of 50 consumer respondents at Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta. Data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, normality tests, multiple linear regression analysis tests, T tests, F tests, R2 determination coefficient tests using IBM SPSS Statistics. The results of the study indicate that lifestyle directly has a significant effect on product purchasing decisions for consumers at Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta, product value directly has a significant effect on product purchasing decisions for consumers at Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta, store atmosphere have a significant effect on product purchasing decisions for consumers at Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta, and directly and simultaneously lifestyle, store atmosphere, and product value have a significant effect on consumer product purchasing decisions at Kampung Batik Laweyan Surakarta.

Abstract

Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian fermented food made from soybeans. Tempeh has been widely used in Indonesia for many years. This research aims to optimize profit in tempe production using linear program with simplex method approach. This research will identify production factors that affect profit and formulate a linear program model with decision variables, objective function, and constraint function to get the optimal solution. This research shows that to get the maximum profit of Rp. 5,000,000, it must produce large tempeh and small tempeh, then it must produce 50 times of production.

Abstract

Service quality is one of the key factors in determining customer satisfaction, especially in service businesses such as laundry. This study aims to analyze the quality of services provided by Sahabat Laundry Coin and its impact on customer satisfaction. The research approach used is qualitative with data collection methods in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis was carried out using five dimensions of service quality triggered by Parasuraman, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. The results of the study show that Sahabat Laundry Coin is able to provide good service by highlighting performance in completing work on time, quick response to complaints, and quality assurance through responsibility for mistakes that occur. Empathy and attention to the specific needs of customers are also a plus, supported by adequate physical facilities and professional employee performance. This research provides insight for laundry business actors in developing strategies to improve service quality to face increasingly fierce competition.

Abstract

Cooperatives have a strategic role in supporting the development and strengthening of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in the aspects of capital, training, and market access. This study aims to analyze the role of the New Mitra Karya Medan Cooperative in supporting the strengthening of MSMEs through a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results show that cooperatives play a significant role in providing access to low-interest capital, facilitating entrepreneurship training, and expanding market access through local cooperation. However, challenges such as limited cooperative capital, low member participation, and lack of innovation in digitalization still need to be overcome. The role of cooperatives can be carried out through increasing funding, organizing training based on the needs of MSMEs, and applying digital technology in marketing. This research has implications that cooperatives can be strategic partners in empowering MSMEs to increase competitiveness and contribute to sustainable local economic growth.

Abstract

The company value is correlated with the stock price so that if the stock price increases, there is a possibility that the company value will also increase. This study aims to examine the effect of Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, Current Ratio, and Company Size on Company Value. This study uses a causal associative research method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique in this study used Purposive Random Sampling so that the companies sampled amounted to 12 Textile and Garment Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The type of data used in this study is secondary data panel data obtained from annual financial reports published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2023 period. Research data testing starts from descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and determination coefficient test. The results showed that partially ROE has no positive and insignificant effect on Company Value (PBV), DER and CR have a positive and significant effect on Company Value (PBV), Company Size has a negative and significant effect on Company Value (PBV). While simultaneously the ROE, DER, CR, and Company Size variables together have a positive and significant effect on Company Value (PBV).

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of market orientation and technology orientation on the business performance of coffee shop businesses in Bekasi Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through a questionnaire distributed to 150 respondents, who are coffee shop consumers. Respondents were selected using the purposive sampling method. The results of the study show that the application of market orientation and technology orientation synergistically contributes significantly to improving the performance of the coffee shop business. The results of the study show that orientation technology, such as the use of delivery service applications, makes it easier to buy coffee. As many respondents (58.45%) expressed their agreement. In addition, 81.2% of respondents felt that the ease of the coffee ordering process influenced their purchasing decision. Meanwhile, Market Orientation in this case has only 50.9% of influencers and 62.7% of advertising on consumer buying interest. This study provides practical implications for coffee shop managers to increase competitiveness through innovative market approaches and the use of technology. This finding is expected to be a strategic reference for small and medium enterprises in similar sectors.

Abstract

Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) have a strategic role in improving access to finance for small businesses in Medan City, Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the contribution of MFIs in providing more inclusive and flexible financing solutions for small businesses that are often marginalized from the formal banking system. Methods This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study to analyze the role of microfinance institutions in improving access to financing for small businesses in Medan City. The results show that MFIs not only offer convenience in the loan application process, but also provide essential training and mentoring to improve the capacity and competitiveness of small businesses. MFIs contribute significantly to local economic growth, challenges such as lack of community understanding of MFI products and limited resources still need to be addressed. This study recommends the need for support from the government and other stakeholders to strengthen the role of MFIs in supporting small businesses. With the right strategy, MFIs can continue to contribute to community economic empowerment and create positive social impact.
