Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) di Kulon Progo merupakan sekolah yang berada di wilayah rawan gempa megathrust dan tsunami. Meskipun telah menerima pelatihan dan simulasi dari MDMC, evaluasi terhadap kesiapan sekolah belum dilakukan secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kesiapsiagaan MI Kulon Progo dalam penanganan ancaman gempa megathrust . Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari guru yang telah mengikuti pelatihan dan simulasi, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan tematik berdasarkan model Creswell, melalui tahapan menyiapkan data, membaca menyeluruh, coding, penyusunan tema, dan interpretasi makna. Guru memiliki pemahaman dasar mengenai bencana dan gempa megathrust , namun belum sepenuhnya ilmiah. Sekolah telah memiliki SOP, namun implementasinya belum merata. Faktor yang mempengaruhi kesiapsiagaan meliputi efikasi diri, dukungan komunitas, pengalaman, serta aspek psikologis. Kesiapsiagaan MI Kulon Progo dalam menghadapi gempa megathrust berada pada tingkat cukup, namun belum merata dan menyeluruh pada seluruh komponen sekolah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan dan simulasi berkala yang melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah, SOP pembaruan yang sesuai konteks lokal, serta peningkatan edukasi kebencanaan yang berkelanjutan dan menyeluruh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis alat bantu yang telah diberikan dalam program pemberian alat bantu difabel hingga mengevaluasi pelaksanaan program pada penyandang disabilitas oleh Dinsospenmas Kota Samarinda. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang berfokus pada empat komponen dalam model evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) oleh Daniel Stufflebeam dan dinilai menggunakan analisis ketercapaian evaluasi program, yaitu pengklasifikasian tiga kategori penilaian (Tinggi, Moderat, Rendah) dari Issac dan Michael. Data diperoleh dari data primer dan sekunder melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, lalu dianalisis melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dan evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pada aspek konteks, sebagian besar komponen evaluasi telah terpenuhi dengan beberapa catatan bahwa masih kurang optimalnya pendataan dalam mengkategorikan jumlah penyandang disabilitas bersadarkan jenisnya. Pada aspek masukan, komponen evaluasi terpenuhi sebagian. Tidak adanya bentuk kerja sama dengan pihak luar sementara hal tersebut merupakan suatu aspek yang cukup besar menunjang kesuksesan suatu program. Begitu pula pada aspek proses dan hasil, komponen evaluasi keduanya terpenuhi sebagian. Proses monitoring yang hanya dilakukan satu kali, alat bantu yang tersedia dan yang diberikan berukuran sama rata, hingga muncullah berbagai ketidaksesuaian mulai dari segi ukuran, kenyamanan, maupun tingkat keparahan disabilitas penerima alat bantu difabel.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to improve literacy and sharia financial management skills for teachers and students at MI Arrazaq Islamic School Rumbai Pekanbaru through applicable and contextual training based on Islamic values. This community service uses the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) approach to empower teachers and students of MI Arrazaq Islamic School in managing sharia finances based on community potential. The activities are carried out through four stages: Discovery (identification of school assets), Dream (formulation of shared ideals), Design (preparation of two-day training for teachers and students), and Destiny/Delivery (implementation of training and follow-up). As a result, the training was effective and resulted in a sustainability plan such as the formation of sharia financial ambassadors and sharia-based student cooperatives. The results of the training program showed that the ABCD approach was effective in exploring and empowering school community assets. The training succeeded in increasing teachers' and students' understanding of the principles of sharia finance in an applicable manner. The formation of the Sharia Financial Ambassador Team and the plan for a sharia-based mini cooperative are real manifestations of the sustainability of the program. Overall, this program is able to form an Islamic economic culture that is integrated into learning and daily life at school.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower people with disabilities at Sentra Mahatmiya Tabanan, Bali, through intensive English language and digital marketing training. Sentra Mahatmiya is a social enterprise employing people with disabilities, but it faces challenges such as limited English proficiency and a lack of digital marketing skills. To address these issues, the program includes two main components: applied English training for spa therapists and comprehensive digital marketing training. The English training focuses on spa-related vocabulary, customer service communication, and practical simulations, while the digital marketing component covers content creation, website management, online advertising, and basic SEO strategies. The results show improved English and digital skills among participants, leading to increased income and economic independence. Evaluation was conducted through observations, written tests, and interviews. This program is expected to serve as a model for empowering people with disabilities in the tourism sector and small businesses.

Abstract

The increasing interest in traditional herbal medicine like Loloh Cemcem in Kintamani Village faces challenges in digital marketing and market access. Producers lack the skills and resources to promote their products beyond the local area, limiting income and business growth. This community service program aims to improve the marketing of Loloh Cemcem through digital marketing training, covering content creation, social media management, online advertising, and SEO. The program includes a three-day workshop and six months of mentoring, supported by internet access and necessary tools. Target outcomes include a 25% sales increase, 50% growth in social media followers, and improved digital marketing skills. This initiative focuses on empowering local micro-enterprises and aims to sustainably boost the village economy through better marketing of traditional herbal products.

Abstract

Stroke is a non-communicable disease that commonly affects the elderly and can lead to verbal communication disorders, especially when it impacts the brain’s speech center. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of speech therapy using the “Suara AIUEO” pocket book in improving speech ability in patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke. The method used was a descriptive case study involving one patient who experienced motor aphasia due to stroke. The intervention was carried out by providing “AIUEO” speech therapy twice a day for three days, each session lasting 10–15 minutes. Speech ability was measured using the Derby Communication Scale, which includes aspects of expression, comprehension, and interaction. The results showed an improvement in the patient’s communication scores, particularly in expression and comprehension. The patient began to articulate vowels clearly and understand simple instructions. This therapy is not only effective but also simple, affordable, and can be performed by family members at home. With proper education, families can play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process. “AIUEO” therapy is recommended as part of a holistic nursing care approach for stroke patients with speech disorders.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social phenomenon of running in Gelora Kadrie Oening, Samarinda City, with a focus on the factors that influence community participation in this activity, as well as its impact on social interaction and mental health. Running, which was originally an individual activity, has now developed into an organized activity in running communities. Through a qualitative case study approach, this research collected data through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results show that there is a significant increase in community participation in running sports at Gelora Kadrie Oening, which is driven by awareness of a healthy lifestyle. This phenomenon also forms running communities that strengthen social relationships between individuals. In addition to physical benefits such as improved cardiovascular fitness, running also has a positive impact on mental health, helping to reduce stress and improve mood. The study also found that running has a positive impact on the local economy, with increased sales by local merchants and the involvement of local sponsors in running events. Overall, the social phenomenon of running in Gelora Kadrie Oening reflects the changing lifestyle of people who are more aware of the importance of health and social relationships and contributes to the social dynamics in Samarinda City.

Abstract

The rising phenomenon of domestic conflicts, including nusyuz behavior, poses a serious challenge to modern Muslim family life. Nusyuz, which refers to a spouse's disobedience or failure to fulfill marital obligations, often stems from a lack of understanding regarding the rights and duties of husband and wife according to Islamic teachings. Premarital education serves as a crucial instrument in internalizing values of obedience, responsibility, and healthy communication within the household. This study aims to examine the urgency of premarital education as a preventive measure against nusyuz by emphasizing the internalization of Islamic values. The research employs a qualitative approach using library research methods, where data is collected from relevant primary and secondary sources, including classical Islamic jurisprudence texts (fiqh), academic journals, books on Islamic education, and policy documents from marriage institutions. The findings indicate that structured premarital education grounded in Islamic values can enhance prospective spouses’ awareness of the importance of religious obedience and their respective roles within the family. The internalization of obedience values through premarital education is also shown to strengthen the emotional and spiritual foundation of couples, thereby minimizing the potential for nusyuz. In conclusion, premarital education is not merely an administrative requirement before marriage, but an essential need in building a sakinah family that is free from destructive conflict.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) represents a significant health challenge among elderly populations, characterized by chronic hyperglycemia requiring strict dietary management. Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni, a natural low-calorie sweetener, has emerged as a promising therapeutic adjunct for diabetes management. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of stevia consumption on glycemic control in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus through comprehensive literature synthesis. A literature review was conducted across multiple scientific databases (Emerald Insight, ProQuest, PubMed, ScienceDirect, EBSCO, and Google Scholar) covering publications from 2015-2025. Initial screening of 312 articles yielded 6 studies meeting inclusion criteria, focusing specifically on stevia utilization as a sugar substitute for elderly diabetic patients. Analysis revealed that stevia demonstrates superior glycemic control properties compared to conventional sweeteners, with sweetness intensity 100-300 times greater than sucrose while maintaining zero caloric content. Stevia represents an effective and safe natural sweetener alternative for elderly patients with diabetes mellitus. Its hypoglycemic properties, antioxidant effects, and absence of adverse effects position it as a valuable therapeutic tool for diabetes management. The findings support stevia's potential development as a nutraceutical supplement and its integration into dietary recommendations for elderly diabetic populations, contributing to improved quality of life and enhanced glycemic control.

Abstract

The sustainable management of fishery resources is critical to maintaining ecological balance and long-term economic benefits. This study aims to estimate the optimal level of exploitation of grouper (Epinephelus spp.) in the waters of Bangka Regency using a surplus production model to determine the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY). Production and effort data from 2020 to 2024 were analyzed using a Schaefer model to derive the MSY curve. The analysis reveals that the MSY for grouper in this region is 1,577.2 tons, corresponding to an optimal fishing effort (f_opt) of 20,742 standardized trips. Notably, actual fishing efforts and production in 2022 exceeded the sustainable threshold, indicating a risk of overfishing, while efforts in 2023 and 2024 remained beyond the optimal level but with declining yields. These trends suggest the onset of growth overfishing if not addressed through adaptive management. The study concludes that current fishing practices in Bangka may surpass the sustainable capacity of grouper stocks, and immediate management interventions are recommended to regulate fishing effort in alignment with MSY estimates. This research provides scientific support for implementing evidence-based fisheries policies to ensure sustainability and resilience of marine resources in the region,
