Abstract

This study aims to obtain an assessment of the feasibility of the jigsaw cutting technique on outerwear. The assessment in this study was carried out by 5 expert panelists who were assessed based on aspects of appearance, fit and sustainability.The research methodology used is experimental with a quantitative approach, the design model used is Pre-Experimental Design with One-Shot Case Study design. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with Rating Scale. The application of the jigsaw cutting technique on outerwear is assessed based on the criteria of zero waste clothing, namely meeting the visual appearance, fit, and sustainability aspects to obtain good results. The results of the assessment state that the sustainability aspect is considered the most dominant aspect. This is because the sustainability aspect is the most important aspect that must be considered in the manufacture of products that apply the concept of zero waste. While the appearance aspect gets the lowest results because the color combination (blue-beige) that is applied does not pay attention to the combination of tin, tone and shade. The results of the study prove that the application of the jigsaw cutting technique can be an alternative in manufacture of outerwear.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Educators have a very important role in the process of determining the potential development of children with special needs according to the conditions and needs of referrals of children with special needs, extraordinary school teachers (SLB) are professional teachers in the field of knowledge of children with special needs. This is inseparable from the creativity of teachers to always provide an innovation, for example by utilizing a pandan woven pouch as a product with a decoupage technique so that it has a high selling value. The purpose of this activity is to increase creativity in making woven pouch decorations that have a selling value, provide knowledge of making woven pouches with decoupage techniques and instill the entrepreneurial spirit of SLB N 1 Yogyakarta teachers so that they are able to produce products that are in great demand by consumers, provide knowledge about the fashion business including calculation of selling prices, and marketing strategies. This activity is carried out by the method of lectures, demonstrations, training and practice. Based on the results of product manufacturing during practice, participants were very enthusiastic about practicing the material provided. The results of the participants' practice also varied, namely each participant made different motif creations by combining various kinds of tissue decoupage motifs. Participants Increase knowledge of decoupage techniques through a process of creativity and innovation in order to increase income and be able to disseminate to students and students of SLB. Through this training, teachers have the skills to improve the quality of human resources which can be used as a provision for opening a business while creating jobs. Abstract

This study aims was to make learning media e-module accessories from inorganic waste and to assess learning media e-module accessories from inorganic waste. The method used in this research is the Pre-Experimental method with the form of One Shot Case Study design. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. Used a single variable the assessment of learning media e-module accessories from inorganic waste. This research was rated by material experts and media experts with the indicators was used 5 characteristic of module, namely self instruction, self contained, stand alone, adaptive, user friendly and used aspect of learning media, namely aspects of media display, aspects of media integration with material, and aspects of operational or media interactivity. The result stated that in material assesment gets percentage of 89,25% and in media assessment gets percentage of 86,5%. The avearge percentage in material assesment and media assessment gets 88% with the higest aspect is adaptive and user friendly.

Abstract

This study aims to make necklace accessories products made from polymer clay which are then assessed by expert panelists based on the application of design elements, namely from the aspects of shape elements, color elements, and texture elements. Meanwhile, the application of design principles is from the aspects of the principle of harmony, the principle of proportion, and the principle of rhythm. The method used is descriptive quantitative, with a pre- experimental design, a one-shot case study model, and an experiment in the form of 5 necklace accessories products made from polymer clay inspired by the shape of the embroidery soutache technique with the type of princess necklace. The research data was obtained from an assessment instrument given to 5 expert panelists, and the assessment was measured using a graded rating scale with a scale of 1-4. The results of the study from the design element indicator got a score of 3,448 with a percentage value of 86.2% included in the excellent category. Meanwhile, the design principle indicator got a value of 3.34 with a percentage value of 83.5% included in the excellent category. The overall result of getting a score of 3.38 and apercentage value of 84.5% indicates that the necklace accessories are close to the scale very well. The highest final value based on the design of necklace accessories obtained the 3rd design with an excellent value of 88.69%, while the lowest value was obtained by the 2nd necklace accessories design with a value of 80.9%.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about consumer preferences on fashion imagery in fast fashion brands and local clothing brands. The research method uses a survey method with a descriptive quantitative approach. This research instrument is in the form of a questionnaire with a research sample of 100 male and female respondents aged 18- 25 years who live in DKI Jakarta using Google Form on a research sample of 100 respondents with a likert scale. The results of this study show indicators of personality, credibility, attributes, social status, guarantees and benefits in the variables of consumer preferences on the image of fashion show well. The highest percentage obtained from the social status indicator of 73% indicates good which means that generation Z has a brand image preference that can create a social status such as looking fashionable in order to be recognized by peer groups. The lowest percentage obtained by the credibility aspect, namely 58% shows good, which means that generation Z has a credibility preference that presents products according to advertisements and trusted quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between employee self- control behavior and the purchase decision of fast fashion products. This research method uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 100 respondents using a purposive sampling technique with questionnaires distributed online. Data analysis technique uses Pearson Correlation. The results of this study indicate that the categorization data on employee self-control behavior variables have high self-control (87%); the purchase decision variable shows that employees have a good fast fashion product purchase decision (100%) with no bad category; and after the Pearson Correlation test was carried out, the data results obtained a correlation coefficient value of 0.274 > 0.05 (H0 was accepted and H1 was rejected) In the result of the Pearson Correlation it was found that there was no relationship between employee self-control behavior and the decision to purchase fast fashion products. The level of correlation in this study is very low because the correlation coefficient is 0.110.

Abstract

Pada era pandemi corona virus saat ini, masyarakat dituntut untuk mengurangi aktivitas di luar rumah yang mempengaruhi perekonomian. Salah satu upaya mempersiapkan pemulihan kondisi perekonomian dengan memberikan pelatihan keterampilan dan pengetahuan mengenai industri kreatif yang dapat digunakan sebagai modal untuk menambah pendapatan. Lingkungan sekitar Panti asuhan banyak sumber daya yang bisa diangkat untuk dikembangkan dalam bentuk industri kreatif salah satunya adalah adanya limbah kain perca hasil dari industri kecil konveksi yang ada di Yogyakarta. Kreativitas dan inovasi remaja panti asuhan Al-Muthi’in ini perlu dikembangkan agar bisa menangkap peluang yang ada. Tujuan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas kerajinan tangan bernilai ekonomis, wawasan jiwa kewirausahaan bagi remaja Panti Asuhan Al-Muthi’in sehingga dapat layak jual, dan membuka peluang Home Industry bagi remaja Panti Asuhan Al-Muthi’in sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga. Sasaran kegiatan ini yaitu remaja Panti Asuhan Al- Muthiin di desa Maguwo, Wonocatur Banguntapan Bantul. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, pelatihan dan praktik. Berdasarkan hasil dari pembuatan produk pelindung gedget berbahan perca dapat diketahui bahwa peserta memahami dan antusian dalam pembuatan produk tersebut terlihat dari produk pelindung gedget yang dihasilkan oleh para peserta. Melalui pelatihan ini para remaja panti memiliki keterampilan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumberdaya manusia yang dapat dijadikan bekal membuka usaha sekaligus menciptakan lapangan kerja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat modul materi Sulaman Fantasi dan mendapatkan penilaian dari panelis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Pre-experimental dengan pendekatan Kuantitatif dan desain penelitian one-shot case study, dengan indikator Pembelajaran Diri (Self Instruction), Satu Kesatuan (Self Contained), Berdiri Sendiri (Stand Alone), Menyesuaikan Diri (Adaptive), dan Mudah Digunakan (User Friendly). dan aspek media meliputi Konsistensi, Format, Organisasi, Daya tarik, Bentuk dan Ukuran huruf, Spasi (ruang kosong). Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penilaian modul Mata Kuliah Apresiasi Menghias Kain Materi Sulaman Fantasi pada aspek materi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 92% dan pada aspek media mendapatkan persentase 76,4%. Secara keseluruhan, penilaian modul Mata Kuliah Apresiasi Menghias Kain Materi Sulaman Fantasi pada aspek materi dan aspek media mendapatkan persentase 83,8% dan berada pada kategori Baik, yang berarti Modul layak dijadikan sumber belajar tambahan yang dapat dipelajari oleh mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hasil penilaian produk busana pesta berbahan denim dengan teknik draping dinilai oleh 4 panelis ahli berdasarkan teori estetika dengan indikator penelitian meliputi aspek wujud/rupa, bobot/isi, dan penampilan/penyajian. Metode penelitian kuantitatif deskripstif dengan pendekatan pre-experimental design, model one case study. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen skala bertingkat. Hasil penilaian estetika secara keseluruhan berdasarkan aspek wyjud/rupa, bobot/isi, dan penampilan/penyajian sebesar 85,2 %, dengan kategori indah. Berdasarkan indikator wujud/rupa yang terdiri dari sub indikator garis, bentuk, dan tekstur mendapatkan nilai sebesar 84,8 % dengan kategori indah. Indikator bobot/isi yang terdiri dari sub indikator sumber inspirasi/gagasan ide yang mengacu pada sumber inspirasi “ Urban De Greece “ mendapatkan nilai 79 % dengan kategori indah. Sementara indikator penampilan/penyajian yang terdiri dari sub indikator harmoni, keseimbangan, dan pusat perhatian memperoleh nilai 88 % dengan kategori indah. Produk dengan penilaian tertinggi diperoleh desain 5 dengan kategori indah, dan desain 3 memperoleh nilai terendah diantara kelima desain dengan kategori indah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hasil penilaian produk pewarnaan rust dye dilihat berdasarkan teori estetika dengan indikator penelitian meliputi aspek wujud/ rupa, aspek bobot/ isi, dan aspek penyajian. Metode penelitian kuantitatif pendekatan deskriptif dengan desain pre-experimental, model one-shot case study. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kepada empat panelis ahli dengan skala bertingkat. Hasil penilaian estetika secara keseluruhan berdasarkan aspek wujud, bobot/isi, dan penyajian sebesar 4,25 atau 85% dengan kategori “Indah”. Berdasarkan indikator wujud/ rupa yang terdiri dari sub-indikator, bentuk, ukuran, value, irama (perulangan), harmoni, dan proporsi mendapatkan nilai 4.14 atau 83% dengan kategori “Indah”. Indikator bobot/ isi yang terdiri dari sub-indikator sumber inspirasi/ gagasan ide mengacu pada trend forecasting Co-Exist mendapatkan nilai 4.6 atau 92% dengan kategori “Sangat Indah”. Sementara indikator penyajian yang terdiri dari sub indikator media/ sarana, pada penelitian ini media kain yang digunakan dalam pewarnaan rust dye memperoleh nilai 4.95 atau 99% dengan kategori “Sangat Indah”. Produk dengan penilaian tertinggi diperoleh produk 4 dengan kategori “Sangat Indah”, dan produk 5 memperoleh nilai terendah diantara kelima produk dengan kategori “Indah”.
