Abstract

This study aimed to identify cases of students who were less independent in online learning in   Public Junior High School number 8 in Pontianak. A case study designemployed in this study was as a part of qualitative research.   The data were collected through classroom observation, interview and home visit. The participants of this study were two students of eight grade in one of the public junior high schools in Pontianak. The finding revealed that the factors causing students less independent in online learning were lack of motivation to learn, lack of responsibility to learn, limited internet quota, less conducive home environment and learning system, less attractive schools during online learning,   dependent, procrastination, unable to solve learning difficulties, and lack of confidence. To overcome the problems, the first research participant used a behavioral counseling model with assertive training technique and positive reinforcement. The second research participant  used a behavioral counseling model with modeling technique and intermittent reinforcement. However, in order to achieve maximum result from the treatment, it is suggested that the guidance and counseling teachers should know better on how to treat the students who experience learning difficulties during online learning.

Abstract

Spells are considered to have magical powers, the wording has rhyme and the delivery has intonation which is often called rhythm. Research problem how to rhyme the Basayak spells, how to concrete words in the spells, what the meaning of the Basayak spells is, and how to implement research results in Indonesian language learning in schools. This research uses descriptive methods, a form of qualitative research, and uses a structural approach. The source of research data is the Basayak spells spoken by a shaman. The research data is the structure and meaning of mantras obtained from spells texts. The results of research data analysis on the Basayak spells include: (1) rhyme which includes; (a) rhyme according to the correspondence of sounds in words or syllables consisting of full, absolute, half, stem, assonance, consonance, dissonance, sequence, and visual rhyme; (b) rhyme according to the position of the words in the sentence line consisting of initial, middle and final rhymes; (c) rhyme based on the position of its partner in the stanza consisting of continuous, hug, cross, twin, break and free rhyme (2) concrete words include concrete words that describe the senses of sight, hearing, touch and taste; (3) meanings which include religious meaning, personality, meaning related to nature, and society (4) The Basayak spelss can be implemented in learning at school by implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum.

Abstract

This action research-based writing training is part of a research project organized by instructors in the field of social studies at the Faculty of Teacher Training, Tanjungpura University. The training applied an action research methodology, involving multiple cycles, each encompassing planning, execution, observation, and reflection stages. This particular approach was selected to encourage participants to share their insights for the purpose of enhancing the training's quality. The primary objective of this research was to gather feedback from teachers, along with their recommendations, to improve the effectiveness of academic writing training that is rooted in action research. The study involved 40 secondary school teachers who were in a group of MGMP Mempawah and took place at SMPN 1 Mempawah. Data was collected through the use of an open-ended questionnaire. The findings indicated that teachers encountered difficulties in finding enough time for writing and accessing online resources. As a result, they suggested extending the duration of the training. Furthermore, they proposed the provision of more comprehensive information and examples for each section of the research article. Finally, it was noted that teachers had a positive perception of the training.

Abstract

This study aims to find out objectively about the traditional word in the Dayak Kanayatn language. The problems of this research are the inventory of traditional penlight words in the Dayak Kanayatn language, the form and lexical meaning of the traditional penlight words in the Dayak Kanayatn language, and the implementation of learning the results of the traditional penlight word research into Indonesian language learning in schools. This research uses descriptive method in the form of qualitative. Data collection techniques, namely, observation techniques, interview techniques, and note-taking techniques. This research resulted in 52 data of traditional blocking words in the Pakumbang Village community, which were divided into five traditional blocking words which favored living plant objects, 23 traditional blocking words which favored solid inanimate objects, 10 traditional dissolving words to love liquid inanimate objects, 10 traditional blocking words using inanimate objects. Human external organs, and 4 traditional barrier words to love distance conditions. There were also 50 inventory words of traditional cursing words in the form of one morpheme (monomorphemic) and 2 traditional cursing words in the form of two or more morphemes (poly morphemic). The meaning contained in the inventory of traditional words in the Dayak Kanayatn language is based on lexical meaning. The form of the Indonesian language learning text contained in it using the word "traditional barrier" for the Kanayatn Dayak community is a procedural text.

Abstract

ABSTRACT : The purpose of this study was to find out the followings: 1) the profile of character education during the Economics learning process with an online model of class X Social Sciences at SMA Santun UNTAN (Universitas Tanjungpura), 2) students' affective aspects in economic learning with an online model of class X social science at SMA Santun UNTAN, 3) implementation in developing character values in learning Economics with an online class X IPS model at SMA Santun UNTAN. This research used qualitative research. The researcher interviewed teacher and observed students"™ activity during the Economics class. The results of this study were that students were exposed with the values of religion, honesty, disciplinary values, independence, and responsible character.Keywords : Implementation of character education

Abstract

Education is the path to a bright life after darkness and education has a very important role in educating humans on this earth. The aim of this research is to determine students' interest in the learning process based on the application of giving rewards to students at SDI Sikumana, East Nusa Tenggara. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental research. The data collection technique in this research is a questionnaire. The sampling technique uses cluster sampling technique. The population in this study was all students in class VIA and Class VIB with a total of 70 students with a breakdown of 35 students in each class. The sample in this research was 70 students. Analysis techniques in quantitative descriptive research with prerequisite test principles. The results of this study prove that there is a very significant difference in the application of rewards in the learning process of physical education, health and recreation. This is based on the results of the t test with a significance value of 0.021 0.05. So it can be concluded that the application of giving rewards triggers increased student interest in the learning process.

Abstract

This online learning process has many meanings, from positive to negative. When studying online, teachers need to be as prepared as possible and provide materials as creatively as possible. The online learning process is not easy, especially in middle school (SMP). Not only teachers and students are involved in this online learning process, but parents also need to be involved in this online learning process. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effectiveness of IHT activities in empowering teachers in the design of online learning tools. Evaluation of increased teacher activity in attending IHT concludes based on the results of IHT implementation (in-house training) conducted at SMP Negeri 8 Kubu to improve teachers' ability to develop online learning implementation plans we can attach it. Activities from 20.8 in cycle 1 to 25 in cycle 2 (internal training). On the other hand, teachers' ability to create online learning implementation plans was also enhanced before IHT activities (internal training), but teachers' ability to create online learning implementation plans averaged only 57.95%. I didn't. The average success rate for Cycle 1 was 71.59%, but increased to 93.18% for Cycle 2. Therefore, IHT (In House Training) activities can improve teachers' ability to plan online learning practices at SMP Negeri 8 Kubu

Abstract

WordPress is a very popular open source application used as a blogging engine which is widely used by several people as an innovation that makes work easier. By implementing the Discovery Learning model through WordPress-based e-learning media to increase understanding of physics learning in optical physics and geometry material. The purpose of implementing this WordPress application is as an alternative to help students understand material about optical physics and geometry that can be accessed anytime, anywhere to re-study or review previously studied material. So that the results of the stages that have been carried out can be embedded in students' memories regarding physics learning material and provide convenience and comfort for users. By making the presentation of the material attractive, it makes students feel more enjoyable. Therefore, the application of the Discovery Learning model through WordPressbased e-learning media is to increase understanding of physics learning in optical physics and geometry material.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to describe the increase in student learning activities using the Problem Based Learning model. This research is collaborative with colleagues. The number of subjects used in this study were 20 students who came from class V Elementary School 25 East Pontianak. The research subjects consisted of 11 men and 9 women. In this study, direct observation technique was used in this study with the help of learning activity observation sheets, planning observation sheets and implementation observation sheets. The results of observations on the learning activities of class V students using the Problem Based Learning model in the first cycle obtained a percentage of 54%. The results of the observation of student learning activities in the second cycle obtained a percentage of 96%. The conclusion of this study is that the use of the Problem Based Learning model in class V of Public Elementary School 25 East Pontianak is able to increase student learning activities, namely in the first cycle of 54%, an increase of 42% to 96%.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are changes in behavior that involve affective, cognitive, and psychomotor. The scientific approach has stages, namely observing, questioning, gathering information and communicating. The importance of a learner-centered approach and emphasizes the ability to think to improve learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of cultural arts (music) material. This study aims to determine the effect of the scientific approach on the cognitive aspects of solo vocal singing material. The place used in this research is SMPN 14 Yogyakarta. The research method used is quantitative research method with experimental research type. The experimental research design used was One Group Pretest-posttest Design. Sampling using Cluster Sampling technique with a total of 57 samples. The research instrument is a learning outcome test. Data analysis used in this study using paired t-test. The results of the Paired t-test analysis obtained the value of t (12.54 ) t table (2.00) and the significance value (0,00) 0.05, so that Ha there is an influence of the scientific approach on the learning outcomes of vocal solo material significantly in class 9th at SMP N 14 Yogyakarta is accepted. The results of the pretest and posttest showed an increase in the average score of 41.3%. Based on the results of this analysis, the scientific approach has an effect on the learning outcomes of cognitive aspects of solo vocal singing material significantly on grade IX students at SMP N14 Yogyakarta.
