Abstract

It has been successful in characterizing activated carbon from petung bamboo using the carbonization method as a microwave absorber in the frequency range of 8-12 GHz. The micro-order activated carbon material, which is 23.5 µm, is a semiconductor with an electrical conductivity value of 2.16 x 10-7 S/m. The activated carbon of petung bamboo was carbonized at a temperature of 600 oC and an activated carbon phase was formed at an angle of 2θ 22,93o and 42.98o and the results of the FTIR characterization showed the presence of a C=C bond at wave number 1535.39 cm-1 as confirmation of the formation of activated carbon. The VNA test showed that the optimum reflection loss on the activated carbon sample of petung bamboo with a thickness of 1 mm was -21.2 dB at a frequency of 10.8 GHz

Abstract

Compensation is the most important part of managing human resources in a profit or non-profit institution. Because compensation practices have a significant impact on the performance and productivity of employees in particular and for institutions in general. The better the management of compensation, the better the performance of employees, conversely if the management of compensation is worse, the performance and productivity of employees will also be worse. The implementation of compensation management in educational institutions that teach the Qur'an in the South Tangerang area in general still does not meet the principles of fairness and decency. In addition, there is still no clear career path and has not received serious attention from the Institute. This can be seen from the inadequate amount of salary, allowances, facilities received by employees or teachers of the Qur'an and unclear career paths

Abstract

And net working capital on profits and their impact on firm value in the cigarette industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research is a case study on the cigarette industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The data of this research consist of balance sheets and profit/loss statements for 120 (one hundred and twenty) months, starting from the period 2006 to 2015. The independent variables of this research are long-term debt, short-term debt, and net working capital, while the dependent variable is profit and firm value. The research method used in this research is descriptive research with qualitative data analysis. The method of data collection is done by using a population and a sample. Calculation of data is done by analysis of the relationship with multiple regression. Long-term debt variable (X1) has a negative effect on earnings (Y) with a regression coefficient of -0.527374. Short-term debt variable (X2) has a positive effect on earnings (Y) with a regression coefficient of 0.148517. The net working capital variable (X3) has a positive effect on earnings (Y) with a regression coefficient of 0.302860. Long-term debt, short-term debt, and net working capital together have a positive and significant effect on profit with a significant F of 0.000156. Profit variable (Y) has a negative and insignificant effect on Firm Value (Z) with a significant value of 0.2850 (greater than 0.05).

Abstract

The research aims to develop a PBL strategy for SMK in the field of technology and engineering expertise, by producing learning materials for applying electronic circuits with a PBL strategy. Using research and development methods, with the Dick and Carey model which consists of the design, development, and evaluation stages. At the design and development stage, materials for the application of Electronic Circuits with a PBL strategy are produced. At the evaluation stage, it is divided into 3 (three) stages, one on one evaluation by experts and by students; small group evaluation; and field trials. The results of the study materials for the Application of Electronic Circuits with the PBL strategy by instructional design experts and materials experts obtained an average of 87.12% and 88.44% with very decent predicates. The results of the one-to-one evaluation by students obtained 89.74%. Small group evaluation results obtained 94.28% of students can understand the characteristics of easy learning. The results of the field trial obtained 92.61%. Conclusion of learning materials for the Application of Electronic Circuits with a PBL strategy that is feasible to use.
