Abstract

One of the natural disasters that often occurs in Karawang Regency is flooding. This is caused by high rainfall and the topography of Karawang Regency which tends to be low so that some areas can be submerged. However, along with the rapid development of information technology and Geographic Information System (GIS) in Indonesia, information technology plays an important role in the process of disaster management. The available spatial information can be in the form of facts resulting from events, raw data taken from measurement results, or derived data obtained from conclusions drawn from these facts and data. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop a WebGIS-based Karawang District Flood Disaster Inventory System. In its development, the Waterfall Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method is used starting from the analysis, design, coding, to testing stages. The results of the system testing are then identified using BlackBox. With this disaster inventory system, it is hoped that the flood disaster management process in Karawang Regency can be carried out more effectively and efficiently.

This research aims to describe the strategy for improving the effectiveness of Daycare education through program evaluation using the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) Model. The study adopts an evaluative research method with 10 Daycare centers in Depok City, West Java, Indonesia, as the research subjects. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. Data collection methods include interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques involve data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The research findings are as follows: (1) The evaluation of the context component indicates that the establishment of Daycare Education Institutions does not refer to clear documents issued by the City Education Office; (2) The evaluation of the input component shows that there is generally no specific program for improving the standards of Daycare Educators; (3) The evaluation of the process component reveals that Daycare centers are well-prepared for admitting new students, and all necessary facilities, curriculum, and teachers are well-prepared; (4) The evaluation of the product component shows that Daycare centers have prepared and implemented the learning process according to the established program, but the outcomes for students are not yet evident. Abstract

The diversity of platforms that provide various types of Video on Demand makes it quite difficult for users to determine the best platform that can be consumed by the public. This research model focuses on selecting from Video on Demand applications that aim to provide alternative recommendations for quality Video on Demand choices for those who are familiar with VoD or not at all. The problem in determining the best Video on Demand service is because each existing Video on Demand has its own unique value or value that makes each platform valuable according to its purpose. The research method here is through a quantitative approach. Data is obtained by conducting direct observations and literature studies, interviews and distributing questionnaires, to 10 respondents who have been validated to have criteria as expert respondents in the field of video on demand technology. The data is then processed by implementing 2 methods with the flow for weighting criteria using the AHP method and ranking alternatives using the MOORA method. The results of the study show that the criteria that are prioritized and influential in choosing a Video on Demand platform are from System Quality with a weight of = 0.45 produced by the platform. Followed by Variants of = 0.29, Price with = 0.15 and Display with weight = 0.11. Then from the ranking results, the alternative chosen based on the calculation is Netflix with an alternative weight = 0.39, then followed by Disney + Hotstar with an alternative weight = 0.34, VIDIO with a weight = 0.29, Viu with = 0.27 and Youtube Premium with an alternative weight = 0.26. So that from the calculation results it can be concluded and recommended to choose Netflix as the best and quality platform

The data in this study was analysed using the descriptive and the inferential statistical methods via the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25. The study found that the level of motivating influence of Iban students was high. However, the Pearson’s correlation analysis result showed that there is no significant association between the motivating influence of Iban students and their level of achievement in Malay Language’s subject as their second language.
