Abstract

This study aims to determine the Management of Higher Education Strategies in Improving the Effectiveness of PTKIS management in Jambi Province, to uncover the strategies carried out by PTKIS managers and to formulate, implement and evaluate strategies in increasing the effectiveness of PTKIS in Jambi Province. The results of the study that the strategic planning PTKIS in Jambi Province in increasing effectiveness is constrained by several factors as follows: Manager's misunderstanding in the implementation of strategic management, communication between managers and subordinates is not in line, not aligning strategic goals with actions taken, ideas and innovations are not supported by plans right, and passive management, and motivation of managers who only target personal gains versus shared goals.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to identify the levels of leadership style and to explore the relationship between headmaster’s leadership style and their School Productivity in Madrasah Aliyah 1 at Riau Province. Leadership style conceptual Framework was used as the framework to guide the study. The sample consisted of 30 respondent. The result from the mean percentages of leadership style levels obtained that among the leadership style dimensions, Data presentation showed the high level productivity. However, four dimensions such as productivity search skills, productivity retrieval skills, productivity interpretation skills and productivity management skills indicated moderate level among school productivity. Spearmen correlation presented that Productivity search skill has significant relationship to the School Productivity. However, data presentation skills, productivity retrieval skills, productivity interpretation skills and productivity management skills were not significant relationship to the School Productivity.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of Role Playing Techniques and Cinema Therapy on the Self-Confidence of Grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Pasarwajo, as well as describing students' metacognitive awareness based on student grade levels and school origin. Research is a quantitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques using the MAI questionnaire and learning management strategy questionnaire. The results of the analysis of the data that have been done, showed that there was an increase in the confidence of students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 4 Pasarwajo after being given treatments using role playing techniques and Cinema Therapy. From the results of testing the hypothesis of the experimental group in this case using the role playing technique, the value of thitung is 3.56. Medium from distribution list t aims to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become citizens of a democratic and responsible. at 5% significance level, t0,975 (28) = 2,05 was obtained. So it can be concluded that the role playing technique provides an influence or can increase student confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) teachers 'perceptions about the use of ICT, 2) the ability of lecturers to develop ICT, and 3) The effect of lecturers' perceptions about the use of ICT and the ability of lecturers to develop ICT-based learning on student learning. Achievements in science subjects in vocational high schools in Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and is carried out in vocational high schools. The population of this study was 290 Senior High School Teachers. Determination of the sample is done by simple random sampling technique. The collection of data in this study uses questionnaires and documents on student learning outcomes. Research data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. This study concluded that: 1) There was an effect of teacher perceptions about the use of ICT on students' learning achievement in science subject, 3) There was an effect of teacher’s abilities develops ICT-based learning on student’s learning achievement in science subject, and 3) there was a joint effect of teachers’ perceptions about the use of ICT, the ability of teachers to develop ICTs for learning on student’s learning achievement in science subject. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that to improve students 'ICT learning outcomes should be improved through teacher perceptions about the use of ICT, the ability of teachers to develop ICTs for learning

Abstract

This research is to describe how social status is expressed through metaphors in Rambu Solo’ funeral ceremony. This research is a qualitative descriptive type. Data sourced from the Kada-Kada Tominaa used at the Rambu Solo’ funeral ceremony record techniques, and interview techniques. The results showed that social status in Rambu Solo’ funeral ceremony 'was metaphorious through (1) born of the moon; (2) Born from the Sun; (3) Londong (Rooster); (4) Gayang (Kris); (5) Rar ' (Traditional Necklace)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical data about the Effect of Learning Method and Verbal Intelligence on English Writing Ability Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 11 Tidore Kepulauan. This research uses experimental method with 2x2 treatment design, the method of taking is done by using research principles that is the treatment of sexual (treatmen). Treatment is given on the subject of research to improve students' English appeal. The independent variables consist of active variable (treatment) and attribute variable (moderator). The variable used is drill learning method and learning method that is moderator variable consist of high verbal intelligence and low verbal intelligence. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 11 Tidore Kepulauan. The result of the research shows that: (1) the ability to write English students who follow the method of learning drill is higher than the students who according to the method of learning lecture (2) there is the interaction effect between the students The learning method and the verbal intelligence on students' ) Ability to write English students The method of learning drill with high verbal intelligence higher than student learning outcomes Methods lecture lectures with high verbal intelligence (4) Ability to write English students The method of learning drill with verbal gender is lower than the ability to write English students in which the method of lectures with low verbal intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Determine cognitive abilities in early childhood science concepts before being taught with the experimental method of KB Mawar FKIP UNPATTI (2) Knowing cognitive abilities in early childhood science concepts after being taught with the experimental method in KB Mawar FKIP Unpatti Ambon (3) Testing the significant difference in influence between before and after the use of experimental methods on cognitive abilities of early childhood science concepts in KB Mawar FKIP Ambon Ambon. This research was conducted at KB Mawar FKIP Unpatti Ambon. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttes. The population of this research was all students of KB Mawar FKIP Unpatti Ambon who were 6 years old. Sampling of this study was carried out using proportional random sampling technique which was carried out randomly in 1 class that is 10 people. Data was collected through an instrument of observation of the cognitive abilities of scientific concepts. The reliability of achievement motivation instruments is 0.89, the learning achievement test is 0.87. Data from the results of this study were processed using the t test analysis technique for independent samples at a significance level α = 0.0.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Plant Layout and the availability of raw materials on the smooth production at PT. Indo Karuna Steel. The method used is explanatory research with analytical techniques using statistical analysis with regression testing, correlation, determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this study Plant Layout has a significant effect on the smoothness of production by 46.4%, the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table or (7.390> 1.998). The availability of raw materials has a significant effect on the smooth production of 45.9%, the hypothesis test is obtained t count> t table or (7.304> 1.998). Plant Layout and the availability of raw materials simultaneously have a significant effect on the smoothness of production by 57.1%, the hypothesis test obtained F count> F table or (41.268> 2.750).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide convenience for farmers to market local-breed chickens and facilitate consumers in purchasing it so that consumers do not need to go to the farm. Besides, this study also aims to identify whether the design of a web-based local-breed chickens sales information system can significantly affect the number of sales. In this study, we used a descriptive method, namely by conducting direct interviews with local-breed chickens’ breeder to describe its sales system. The results of this study indicate that the design of sales information systems can provide a significant increase in sales of local-breed chickens. In conclusion, the design of a sales information system for local-breed chickens can help farmers in marketing and selling local-breed chickens at reasonable prices so that farmers get more profits.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the important components that form the basis of financial information system design in helping small and medium-sized businesses manage their finances so they can develop their business to the maximum. This research used study literatures from previous research about financial information system design The result of this research is financial software that helps SMEs monitor and manage their cash flow through gadgets. Every SME needs good financial system to monitor and control their cash flow any time. Technological development nowadays could be utilized to develop it. The benefit is that SMEs can easily access their financial report through gadgets without be concerned about data damaged or data loss.
