Abstract

This study reviews the meaning of khusyuk in the Perspective Tafsir Al-Maraghi. This Tafsir is one of the most monumental contemporary interpretations of this century, a language that is effective and easy to understand for the entire community, at the same time very relevant to this research. The purpose of this research is to analyze the meaning of khusyuk in Tafsir Al-Maraghi and its implications in real life by using the method of library research or research of the library. The results of the analysis show that the meaning of khusyuk is the use of the heart, submission, tenderness, calm, and presence when doing obedience to God, followed by the entire body, both visible and invisible. Among them are those who believe in the meeting with their Lord on the Day of Judgment, those who weep for fear of Allah, and those who soften their hearts when the Quran is recited to them. So that from it will be born obedience and submission to Him, His reward and joy, and the birth of faith.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendalami konsep mubtada dan khabar dalam kitab “Matan Ghoyah wa Taqrib” karya Imam Abu Syuja. Mubtada didefinisikan sebagai isim marfu yang tidak dipengaruhi oleh amil lafadz, sedangkan khabar merupakan isim marfu yang disandarkan kepada mubtada, keduanya bersama-sama membentuk jumlah ismiyah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain penelitian kepustakaan, di mana data dikumpulkan dari berbagai buku yang relevan sebagai sumber utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam kitab “Matan Ghoyah wa Taqrib” terdapat 465 mubtada dan 465 khabar. Dari jumlah tersebut, 465 mubtada terdiri dari 392 mubtada berupa isim dhohir dan 73 mubtada berupa isim mudmar. Sementara itu, 465 khabar terdiri dari 257 khabar yang berbentuk mufrod dan 208 khabar yang berbentuk ghoiru mufrod. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai penggunaan mubtada dan khabar dalam teks klasik Islam, khususnya dalam karya Imam Abu Syuja, serta menekankan pentingnya analisis struktural dalam studi bahasa Arab.

Abstract

The aim of this scientific work is to examine the perspective of Islamic law and society regarding the tradition of prohibiting marriage between Sundanese and Javanese people based on the belief that the prohibition emerged. People's views on the problems faced by Sundanese and Javanese couples, as well as "urf" views regarding the existence of prohibitions. This research is a descriptive qualitative study that combines field or empirical studies. A sociological approach is the method used. Three data collection methods were used by the author: interviews, observation, and documentation. The analytical methods used in the analysis are reduction techniques, exposure and drawing conclusions from the data. The overall study concludes that the tradition of prohibiting Sundanese and Javanese marriages has been around for a long time, but is now starting to be abandoned. This tradition also contains myths about impermanence and economic difficulties if the marriage takes place. However, this violates Islamic law, as there is no law against marrying someone from another tribe. This includes things that are prohibited in Islamic marriage, such as mahram, time, and prohibited marriages. According to Ushul Fiqh research, this tradition falls into the category of "urf qauli and fi'li". In their opinion, this tradition is fasid (damaged), because it is contrary to sharia and its rules. As a result, the ban on marriage between Sundanese and Javanese cannot be used as a basis at this time.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and understand the story of the people of Prophet Lot in the Qur'an through the exegesis Al-Misbah by Muhammad Quraish Shihab. The story of the people of Lot, known for their homosexual behavior and rejection of Prophet Lot's teachings, along with the punishment they received, is the main focus of this analysis. The research method used is tafsir analysis to gain an in-depth understanding of the relevant verses. The results show that Tafsir Al-Misbah provides comprehensive and contextual explanations of the events experienced by the people of Lot. This exegesis not only explains the textual meaning but also presents interpretations that align with current social and cultural conditions, thereby helping readers to understand the wisdom and lessons from the story. This study emphasizes the importance of using reliable and contextual exegesis to understand the stories in the Qur'an, which in turn can provide valuable insights and guidance for living a life in accordance with Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This study examines the meaning and consequences of the Qur'an with a focus on the analysis of the Faazaz al-Bukhl and Asy-Syuhh in the interpretation of the Quran by Sayyid Quthb. The Quran is one of the most famous interpretations for its thematic and in-depth approach to the Quran, providing valuable insight into this topic. The results of the research show that al-Bukhl and asy-Syuhh are perverse properties that are rooted in liver disease and have a negative impact on individual and social lives. The Quran reveals the profound meaning of both of these affairs, linking them with the concepts of tauhid, zakat, and infak, and emphasizing the importance of avoiding the nature of kikir as an effort for the salvation of the world and the Hereafter.

Abstract

This study explores the miraculous nature of the Qur'an in the context of developing Islamic economics by focusing on the analysis of Islamic business principles found in Surah Al-Baqarah. Although much has been discussed, this research aims to provide deeper insights into these principles through the perspective of Qur'anic exegesis. The objective is to present a more detailed study of the principles within the Qur'an, particularly in Surah Al-Baqarah, by applying exegetical approaches from linguistic and jurisprudential perspectives. This approach is expected to offer a more holistic and profound understanding of the messages contained in the Qur'anic text related to Islamic business principles.Through the method of tafsir analysis, this study aims to identify, analyze, and interpret the Islamic business principles found in Surah Al-Baqarah. The findings of this research are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of Islamic economic thought and the enhancement of Islamic business practices. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide clearer insights into the Islamic business principles contained in the Qur'an and offer academic recommendations that can serve as guidelines for practitioners, academics, and policymakers in strengthening Islamic economics in a more sustainable and equitable manner.Moreover, this study seeks to explore the relevance of these principles in the modern context and the current global economic challenges. Thus, this research not only aims to add to the scholarly literature but also to provide practical solutions that can be implemented in contemporary Islamic business practices, thereby enhancing the welfare of the community and strengthening the economic foundation based on Islamic values.

Abstract

This study examines the group of people who are blocked from Allah's guidance, according to Wahbah az-Zuhaili in Tafsir al-Munir. Wahbah intends to name the book of interpretation with the name of the book of Tafsir al-Munir because the book of interpretation can shine on people who study it and read it. The explanation in this tafsir is adapted to the development and needs that occur in today's society. The purpose of this study is to analyze who is included in the group that is blocked from Allah's guidance, according to Tafsir al-Munir. The results of this study also mentioned the character and characteristics of those who are blocked from the guidance of Allah and the consequences for those who are included in the group. The researcher also describes how we can get the guidance of Allah SWT.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse and compare the interpretation of the verses about envy in Tafsir Al-Mishbah by M. Quraish Shihab and Tafsir Asy-Sya'rawi by Muhammad Mutawalli Ash-Sya'rawi. Using a comparative approach and literature research method, this study identifies similarities and differences in their understanding of the phenomenon of envy in the context of the Qur'an. The results show that both commentaries describe envy as a spiritual and social phenomenon that can disrupt the harmony of individuals and society. The implications of this interpretation are relevant in dealing with modern social challenges, including the negative influence of social media on social unity and spiritual well-being. This research not only contributes to the academic understanding of Qur'anic exegesis, but also provides insights for practical application in the daily lives of Muslims in maintaining a clean heart and living a meaningful life in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

Happiness is a theme that people always talk about. What is its essence and what paths should be taken to get it. But not every human being can find an easy and correct path to achieve his or her goals of happiness. The word that means happiness in the Qur'an is mentioned using several words, faroha or al-farah as one of the words that means happiness is found in 22 verses with various derivations. To facilitate understanding of the lafadz, this research will focus on the meaning of happiness on the lafadz al-farah according to the interpretation of al-Maraghi. This study uses the method of literature or library research with descriptive analytical approach or thematic studies. The results of research and discussion obtained are that the meaning of happiness in lafadz al-farah is generally divided into two; happiness that is positive and happiness that is negative. Positive happiness, such as happiness that comes from the grace of Allah, is happiness that brings gratitude and joy. While negative happiness such as worldly happiness and happiness that makes us arrogant and proud of ourselves is happiness that is ephemeral, temporary and not infrequently also becomes a sin. Some of the meanings of happiness that the author gets from the verses with the word al-farah are; Happiness for disobeying Allah's commands, happiness in disobedience, happiness that causes pride and pride, happiness over the blessings of the world, happiness for the grace of Allah, and happiness over the suffering of others.

Abstract

The ethics and rules that exist in Islam, not to limit one's expression. He is present to show a good way of expressing himself and not to have a negative impact on himself or others. Islam does not forbid those who want to appear attractive, even Islam encourages them to look as good as possible, born and inner. Islam encourages them to wear clothes that do not cause others to judge their wearers negatively, such as clothing that does not make others inferior, clothing which does not irritate the opposite sex, and so on. This study examines the verses of the Qur'an about ethics based on the perspective of the Book of Tafsir Al-Qurthubi called also Tafsir al-Jami' Li Ahkam Al-Quran by Imam Al- Qurthubi. The Qur'an is a clear and clear explanation of what is in the Quran, and the Quran is more associated with the questions of the law, so that the interpretation of the Qur'ân is more elaborate. The purpose of this study is to analyze the verses of the Qur'an related to the ethics of embroidery, such as the command to cover the aurat (Surat Al-A'raf verses 26), the use of beautiful, good, and accurate clothing (Surat Al- A'raf verse 31-32), use of clothing that protects the body (Surat An-Nahl verse 81), the prohibition of showing jewelry and tabarruj for women (Surat Al-Ahzab verse 33 and An- Nur verse 31), prohibited walking as a proud man (Luqman verses 18 and 19), the command of hijab for Muslim women. (Al-Ahzab ayat 59, An-Nur ayat 60 dan 31). The results of the analysis showed that Tafsir Al-Qurthubi interpreted the verses of ethics that had been classified by the author in detail and easily understood. You are also supporting hadits-hadits to add understanding and other insights about ethics of the artifacts.
