Abstract

This study evaluates and designs a training model for prospective Police Technical Staff to be assigned to the Republic of Indonesia's overseas diplomatic missions. The training model aims to enhance technical competence, cultural adaptation, and diplomatic skills, which are crucial for addressing complex challenges in the international environment. Through a literature review approach, this article highlights the importance of training needs analysis involving collaboration with various external stakeholders. The structured training program design includes task simulations, experiential learning, and continuous evaluation. The findings indicate that current training is suboptimal due to the dominance of one-way lecturing methods without distinguishing individual needs. Therefore, the ideal training strategy includes strengthening practical interactions, developing adaptive modules, and utilizing learning technologies. This holistic approach is expected to improve the performance of the Police Technical Staff, support the strategic role of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) at the international level, and enhance the quality of protection and services for Indonesian citizens abroad. With a more comprehensive training model, Polri can effectively respond to geopolitical dynamics and global challenges.

Abstract

National drug resilience is a fundamental pillar for achieving health independence and sovereignty in Indonesia. Strengthening this resilience has become a strategic mandate outlined in Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health, emphasizing the critical role of producing pharmaceuticals, vaccines, medical devices, and natural-based medicines to support the national healthcare system. This article examines the regulatory aspects, implementation, and challenges of realizing national drug resilience through a normative juridical approach. The integration of progressive legal theory, utilitarianism, and the welfare state model is the primary analytical framework for evaluating policy effectiveness. This approach is reinforced by a human rights perspective, particularly the right to health as enshrined in Article 28H of the 1945 Constitution and international frameworks such as ICESCR. The findings highlight that synergy among adaptive legal policies, strengthening biodiversity-based research and innovation, and supporting local industries are key to reducing dependence on imported materials and enhancing global competitiveness. This article contributes to local legal literature by integrating legal theory with human rights frameworks in the context of pharmaceutical policy while offering practical recommendations for supporting sustainable drug resilience policies. It provides a theoretical and strategic foundation for bolstering the national healthcare system through an inclusive and progressive legal approach.

Abstract

Organizational changes such as mergers and acquisitions, evolving customer demands, and increasing business competition in the telecommunications industry require employees of PT. XYZ to work agilely to adapt and implement changes in uncertain conditions. This study aims to examine the role of employee involvement and psychological empowerment in influencing workforce agility among employees at PT. XYZ. A total of 251 permanent employees at the headquarters participated in this research. The measurement tools used were the Workforce Agility Questionnaire (WAQ) by Sherehiy et al. (2014), translated into Indonesian by Alavi (2016); the Employee Involvement Questionnaire (EIQ) by Lawyer (1992), translated into Indonesian by Heckscher (2018); and the Psychological Empowerment Questionnaire (PEQ) by Spreitzer (1995), translated by Aam Amaliah & Laila (2021). The results showed a significant relationship between employee involvement and workforce agility (r = 0.460, p < 0.05), as well as between psychological empowerment and workforce agility (r = 0.680, p < 0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that employee involvement contributed 21% (Standard Estimate = 0.201, p < 0.05) and psychological empowerment contributed 59% (Standard Estimate = 0.593, p < 0.05) to workforce agility. Based on these findings, an Agile Empower intervention was conducted with 26 participants who scored low to moderate in psychological empowerment. Post-intervention evaluation showed a significant improvement in pretest and post-test scores, with a mean difference (p < 0.05) and an implementation evaluation score of 3.7 out of 4.0.

Abstract

The concept of an agile organization is essential in Indonesian governance to foster adaptive, responsive, and integrated bureaucracies capable of addressing rapid changes, especially in the digital era and during crises. At the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Depok City, challenges remain in implementing an agile organization effectively. This study employs a Convergent Parallel Mixed Methods approach, utilizing questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation for data collection. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, complemented by qualitative analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that while the organization demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction, further improvements are necessary. Leadership empowerment has been effectively implemented but lacks uniformity across the organization. Adaptive and flexible processes are in place, though their application is inconsistent and suboptimal. Continuous improvement practices are evident, but challenges persist in ensuring consistency and team involvement across departments. Transparency is generally established, yet certain teams face difficulties achieving comprehensive openness. These findings highlight the need for strategic enhancements to optimize the implementation of agile organizational principles.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of the 'Lumbung Pangan' program by BAZNAS on the welfare of 56 zakat-receiving farmers in Barito Kuala, South Kalimantan. The program provided agricultural guidance and training on organic fertilizer production, aiming to increase rice productivity and shift to organic farming practices. Using the CIBEST approach, we assessed changes in the material and spiritual welfare of farmers after program implementation in August. Results show that 24 farmers achieved Quadrant I (welfare), 28 fell into Quadrant III (materially poor), and only 1 remained in Quadrant IV (totally poor), with no farmers in Quadrant II (spiritually poor). These findings highlight the potential of zakat-based initiatives to enhance agricultural productivity and quality of life in rural communities.

Abstract

High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) is defined as an individual who has wealth or income on the highest scale. The role of HNWIs in a country's economy is very significant. However, in 2022 the contribution of tax revenues from all individuals (Income Tax Article 25/29 Individuals) in Indonesia will only reach 0.68% of the total national net tax revenues. In this writing, the authors aim to evaluate the effectiveness of the tax supervision policy performance of the Individual Taxpayer in Indonesia. The method used is using a descriptive qualitative approach through case studies using primary data in the form of interview results. Based on this writing, supervision of HNWIs in Indonesia is known to be not optimal. Where the supervision carried out has not been able to mitigate the risk of using Aggressive Tax Planning which, among other things, can be carried out by HNWIs using names other than the name concerned in disguising ownership of assets or income. This writing finds the most significant enabler in optimizing HNWI tax supervision is through the identification of HNWI income streams which in this writing are grouped into 8 (eight) nodes depicted in a diagram which the authors call "Taxonomy of Economic Groups". This writing finds that the risk treatment for this risk event is by changing the provisions of Article 18 paragraph (4) of the Income Tax Law.

Sharia Pawnshops in Indonesia manage sharia pawn businesses at both central and regional levels, guided by a Sharia Supervisory Board. Their services and human resources are optimized to achieve company goals. The products offered include Rahn Hasan, Rahn Flexi, Rahn Bisnis, Amanah vehicle installments, Arrum BPKB, Arrum Emas, Arrum Hajj, and Sharia Gold Installments. Abstract

This study examines how emotional support functions as a way for parents to accept children with special needs. It is considered important to strengthen the connection between parents and children and help children understand and accept themselves. Data were collected from four parents of children with special needs in a kindergarten in East Bandung through a qualitative research method using interview and questionnaire instruments. The results of the study indicate that parental acceptance of themselves by providing emotional support is very important for children's emotional development. Parents who accept their child's situation tend to share better emotional support, such as affection, support, appreciation, encouragement, involvement in decision-making, and validation of their child's feelings. This support also builds children's self-confidence and makes them feel accepted by their environment. Self-acceptance in parents is a difficult process that involves complex emotional stages ranging from rejection to acceptance. Families and communities have shown that their support is very important to help parents in the process of creating a friendly and supportive environment for children with special conditions.
