Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat MAKARDHI atau disingkat dengan MAKARDHI adalah jurnal yang memuat karya tulis ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat atau pembangunan masyarakat di bidang yang terkait dengan pariwisata. Diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun pada bulan Juni dan Desember sejak tahun 2021 oleh Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (P3M) Politeknik Pariwisata Bali dengan P-ISSN: 2809-4174 dan E-ISSN: 2808-084X MAKARDHI menerapkan proses blinded-peer-review dalam penanganan manuskrip dan pertimbangan dalam menentukan artikel ilmiah untuk publikasi didasarkan pada relevansi, kejelasan, topik dan orisinalitas, serta sejauh mana manuskrip tersebut dapat memajukan pengetahuan, pemahaman, penerapan dan kemungkinan kontribusinya dalam menginspirasi pengembangan dan pembangunan masyarakat terkait pariwisata. MAKARDHI menerima kajian, hasil penelitian, pengembangan ide dan refleksi atas kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang terkait dengan pariwisata yang meliputi (tetapi tidak terbatas pada): pengembangan desa wisata, pemberdayaan masyarakat pariwisata, pelatihan dan sosialisasi pariwisata, peningkatan kapasitas masyararakat

Abstract

This research aims to study the role of local government in the development of Paksebali Tourism Village, from the perspective of local community, tourism village team, and the Klungkung District Government. Data were collected by observation, survey, interviews, documentation and analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that local people and tourism village team strongly agreed with the government's Paksebali Tourism Village development programe. As a facilitator the government facilitated tourism programs, projects and activities, provided innovations, involved the community to participate, socialization and financial assistance. As evaluators, the government assessed the programs, monitored tourism development and made  satisfaction surveys, as implementers, the government leaded and coordinated programs, projects and activities for the development of tourist villages, established good relationships with relevant agencies and regulated tourism development such as making environmental sustainability, health and safety standards. Of the four roles, the role of the government as facilitator obtained the highest score of 4.35, and as the evaluator obtained the lowest score of 4.21. To maximize the role of the government,  this study recommended the government conduct monitoring and evaluation on the development of Paksebali Tourism Village at least once a month by involving the community and leaders.

Abstract

Pelaga Village, Badung Regency is famous for its beautiful and natural view. Therefore, the community is very enthusiastic to manage homestay as a means of support. In Pelaga Tourism Village, agro-tourism development has also been carried out centered in the Kiadan environment. However, when the field survey was carried out, there were still obstacles in its management of the homestay. Therefore, training related to accommodation management is needed which will be carried out in stages to improve the community's ability to manage homestay. In 2021, the Hotel Administration Study Program has carried out community service in Pelaga Village, Badung Regency regarding the use of the internet as a marketing tools for homestay in Pelaga Village, Badung Regency.

Abstract

Hotel Warna Kedaton is located in the city of Denpasar, precisely on Jalan Jayagiri Utara number 1 Bali. This hotel has Balinese architecture with basic facilities in the form of 49 guest rooms, supporting facilities such as restaurants, swimming pools and meeting rooms. However, the tight business competition makes this hotel must innovate to be able to compete with its competitors. In addition, the current COVID-19 pandemic has also had an impact on the sustainability of the hotel business. The purpose of this activity is to provide proposals for repositioning as an effort to reach more consumers, compete with competitors, and of course to revive the color of this hotel. This activity is aimed at the owner, employees of the Warna Kedaton Hotel and students of the 2020 Hospitality Administration Study Program C with a total number of 8 participants. This activity is carried out using the mentoring method in the form of lectures, discussions and direct practice. The results of this activity are in the form of making a business plan that emphasizes the proposed repositioning by making changes to the hotel concept, design, marketing, service, as well as hotel organization and management to become a boutique hotel.

Abstract

In this reseach the analysis used is the marketing mix of 8P (Product, Price, place, Promotion, People, Process, Physical Evidence, and Productivity and Quality). And analyzed using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Oppurtunities and Threats) in order to identify various factors systematically to formulate an appropriate marketing mix strategy carried out by Legacy Bali Wedding. Primary and secondary data obtained and analyzed using for marketing mix startegies namely SO (Strength and Oppurtunities), ST (Strengths and Threats), WO (Weaknesses and Oppurtunities), and WT (Weaknesses and Threats) strategies., so as to produce and appropriate conclusion and suggestion in knowing the Mrketing Mix Strategy to Improve Consumer Decisions in Wedding Purchases Pakcage at CV. Abstract

The opening of Bali for foreign tourists certainly requires great preparation, due to the large number of tourism accommodations that have been closed for a long time and also the preparation of human resources considering that it has been almost 2 years not serving tourists due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Based on this, a short training program in the form of breakfast processing training activities for tourism actors in Nusa Lembongan was carried out. This activity aims to remind and improve the skills of tourism actors, especially in the culinary field. The method used in this training session is the presentation of theories on the application of hygiene and sanitation in food processing, restaurant/restaurant CHSE, menu knowledge, cooking demonstrations, and hands-on practice from the participants. The results of the evaluation showed that the participants were enthusiastic about participating in the training and were able to practice food processing methods

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to review the implementation of community service activities carried out in Gunung Salak Tourism Village, Bali with the topic: Resort Spa: Body Care Business Opportunities in Tourism Villages. The activity was carried out for one day on April 7, 2020. The place for the implementation of the activities was in Banjar Kemetug with 30 participants who were homestay managers, youth and young women in Gunung Salak Village, PKK mothers and housewives. The training method is carried out using demonstration methods, practice, working in groups and asking questions. The results of this activity increase and add insight and knowledge of the community in Gunung Salak Tourism Village in utilizing the potential that exists in their village. This activity also empowers local geniuses by providing opportunities for the community to be able to work and innovate to build small businesses in the Spa sector. The skills provided range from simple/simple treatments to complete treatments which are currently the needs of the general public, not only for tourists, but also for urban communities.

Abstract

Bakas Village is a MKP Study Program assisted village that already has a cooperation agreement. With the concept of Community Base Tourism, finally a tourism village governance has been formed as a result of a joint decision between the official village and the Bakas traditional village. After the establishment of governance, efforts are still needed to strengthen products in the form of storytelling, as part of marketing, so that Bakas Village can develop priority programs for its tourism village products. This community service is in the form of training which consists of two stages. The first stage is in the form of training related to strengthening storytelling how to describe an attraction and managing visitors as well as managing the interpretation of tourist village products. The second stage is in the form of technical training in packaging storytelling for digital-based tourism village products. The results of this community service activity are increasing the understanding of Bakas tourism village managers about the components of tourist village products, managing visitors in tourist villages, and managing tourist village product interpretations, as well as strengthening the ability of managers to provide digital-based storytelling of Bakas Village products.

Abstract

Bongan tourism village assistance includes three activities, namely training on creating website, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube along with contents management, training on creating video in the perspective of MICE development and digitizing tourism products to promote Bongan tourism villages, designing destination branding through Teruni Bali promotional videos in collaboration with Pemuda Batak Bersatu. Bongan Village was designated as a tourist village in 2018 and is currently classified as startup tourism village. The golden triangle attraction in Bongan village is Puseh Luhur Bedha Temple which has the Kebo Iwa site, Grembengan waterfall, and Bali starling breeding. Lack of knowledge and skills of society in carrying out visual promotion activities digitally encourages the implementation of this training. Mentoring activities are carried out with three methods, lecturing, discussions and practices involving lecturers, students as application of Digital Marketing course, village officer, Pokdarwis, society, other partners, namely Pemuda Batak Bersatu and Teruna-Teruni Bali. In 2020, PIB received an award from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy as the Fifth Grade for the best tourist village mentorship in Indonesia. The design of the logo, website, Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube was well established, ten videos have been successfully produced and uploaded to social media.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide socialization on how to get loans from banks for entrepreneurs in Lake Cipondoh who have businesses in these tourist attractions. Through this activity, entrepreneurs in Lake Cipondoh are motivated to borrow funds from financial institutions, namely banks, not moneylenders. This activity involved 27 entrepreneurs, this activity was carried out using counseling, training and consultation methods. This activity includes how entrepreneurs can easily borrow bank credit, easy steps for entrepreneurs to get business capital from banks and how to make proposals. The results of the training activities show that entrepreneurs know more about how to get credit loans from banks so that by seeking business capital from banks, they will get an injection of fresh funds, which can make businesses develop faster and faster.

Abstract

This service activity aims to provide counseling, training and socialization on how to make Simple financial reports in Kaduela Village are useful for business actors in Kaduela Village so that a description of the business's financial condition can be seen. The methods used in this activity are counseling, training, and socialization. The number of participants in this activity was 27 people. The tools and materials we use are projector screens and infocus. This activity is beneficial for business actors in Kaduela Village because the preparation of good and correct financial reports will make it easier for banks to provide business loans and make it easier for investors to provide additional business funds.
