Abstract

The livestock business is one of the businesses that contribute quite significantly in developing quality human resources for a country. The development of quality human resources must certainly be supported by the adequacy of quality animal food so over the past few years the government has focused on encouraging the growth and development of livestock businesses to strengthen the country's food security. The method used in this research is action research. Methods in action research are based on the assumption that theory and practice can be integrated with learning from the results of planned interventions after carrying out a diagnosis process against the context of the existing problem. Based on the results obtained from the diagnostic stage, PT. Mitra Berlian Unggas currently does not have a standard and effective MSDM management system. With the limited number of members of the HR Division and the existence of a plan to develop and grow the livestock network, the company realized the need for a system that could accommodate "improvement" efforts and facilitate the work of the HR Division in managing employees. HRIS design at PT. Mitra Berlian Unggas is carried out by considering the company's need for the ability of the system to facilitate the management of human resources in the company today, without excluding the characteristics of the company that has a distribution of livestock networks in several regions, so that employees need to work remotely.

Abstract

Excessive use of plastic bags adversely affects health and the environment based on their hard-to-decompose nature. The increase in the number of plastic bag use is strongly influenced by population growth and changes in people's lifestyles, especially in shopping patterns among housewives, besides that government policies related to the Covid pandemic have triggered an increase in the use of plastic bags. This analytical observational research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of housewives towards the use of plastic bags in Pasar Siborongborong Village, North Tapanuli, North Sumatra, with a cross-sectional research design with an accidental sampling method. Interviews were conducted with 95 housewives. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test with CI:95%. The results of research on the use of plastic bags by housewives showed that 57.9% of the knowledge level of housewives in the good category, 64.2% of housewives' attitudes in the category were not good and 77.9% of the use of plastic bags in housewives was not good. The results of the Chi-Square test analysis showed that there was no meaningful relationship between the level of knowledge of housewives towards the use of plastic bags. (p.value: 0.864). On the other hand, there is a significant relationship between the attitude of housewives towards the use of plastic bags and the p.value: 0.010. Knowledge about the use and dangers caused by plastic bags can be done through socialization with the public, including through advertisements on television and social media. The implementation of restrictions on the use of plastic bags through the paid plastic bag policy at supermarkets is felt to have not been optimal in an effort to reduce the use of plastic bags.

Abstract

The growing demands for public services have an impact on the availability of funds to meet these demands. This condition caused budgetary pressure on the government which was later called fiscal stress. This study aims to determine the factors that cause fiscal stress as seen from the financial statements of local governments in East Java. The analysis method used in this study is the Data Regression Panel, which is a combination of cross-section and time series data. The population and samples used are regencies/cities in East Java. This research resulted in the discovery that Regional Original Income (PAD), Equalization Fund (DP), Employee Expenditure (BP), Goods and Services Expenditure (BBJ), and Surplus/Deficit (PM) had a significant effect on Fiscal Stress. This result can be used as a consideration for the regency/city government in East Java to carry out good management of the performance activities of the District/city government by taking into account internal factors, namely Regional Original Income, Balance Fund, Expenditure, surplus/deficit, and budget absorption so that the regency/city government can avoid fiscal stress.

Abstract

Indonesia is the second country with the most TB cases in the world. One of the efforts to overcome TB in Indonesia is the active discovery of TB cases through contact investigations. However, the implementation of contact investigations has not been fully optimal, including in Medan City. The implementation of contact investigations still reached 14.79 percent in 2020. The performance of TB program officers is one of the factors that determine the achievement of the implementation of contact investigations. This study aims to explore the performance and factors that contribute to the performance of TB program officers in the implementation of contact investigations in Medan City. This research was qualitative research conducted from December 2022 to January 2023. The data collection method was an in-depth interview and review of documentation. The location of study was conducted at six health centers in Medan City. The research informants totaled 37 people consisting of the Deputy TB Supervisor (Wasor TB) of the Medan City Health Office, TB program officers of health centers, TB cadres, heads of health centers, laboratory analysts, doctors, TB sufferers, and drug swallowing supervisor (PMO). Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis which can be transmitted from one person to another by inhaling droplets coughed or sneezed by an infected person. One of the most recent technologies today is the rapid immunochromatography (ICT) method for testing TB antigens. This test detects antigens secreted by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, namely the early secretory antigenic target 6 kDa protein (ESAT6), culture filtrate protein (CFP 10), and Mycobacterium tuberculosis protein (MPT64) encoded by region of difference genes (RDI, RD2, and RD3). The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of TB ICT antigens in diagnosing pulmonary tuberculosis. The research method used is a diagnostic test with a cross-sectional study design. The population of this study was all pulmonary TB patients who were examined at the Prof. Hospital Laboratory. W.Z. John. The samples used in this study amounted to 81 samples which were preceded by smear examination and then 47 samples of M. tuberculosis culture on Lowenstein Jensen media which was used as the gold standard, the results of the examination were 41 samples growing and 6 samples not growing. The sensitivity and specificity of the Rapid ICT TB antigen test were 75.61% and 100%, respectively. The conclusion of the rapid ICT TB antigen test has high validity, so it can be used as an alternative laboratory test for the diagnosis of pulmonary TB.
