Abstract

This community service project aims to enhance tax literacy and compliance among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, through practical education on Income Tax Return (SPT) filing. Implemented in two stages—a public tax consultation booth and a targeted interactive workshop—the program applied simulation-based learning using Forms F-1770 and F-1771, adjusted to participants’ business contexts. Evaluation using pre-test and post-test instruments revealed an average 30.6% increase in technical understanding, demonstrating the effectiveness of practice-based, participatory methods. The project also identified digital adaptation and regulatory complexity as key challenges, reinforcing the need for contextual and ongoing tax education efforts. The short-term gains in comprehension and reporting confidence indicate strong potential for long-term improvements in tax compliance and administrative sustainability among MSMEs. This initiative supports Indonesia’s broader fiscal transformation efforts, especially in light of the declining national tax ratio index

Abstract

This study evaluates the availability and condition of child-friendly infrastructure in RW.10 Pekalipan Village, Cirebon City, as part of the implementation of the Child-Friendly City Program (KLA).  The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) by involving the community, village officials, and academics in the process of identifying issues, mapping potential, and implementing infrastructure development actions. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and document studies.  The results of the study show that the child-friendly infrastructure in Pekalipan Village is quite adequate, including health facilities, education, green open spaces, and playgrounds. The local government has made efforts to improve public facilities and encourage community participation in development planning and evaluation. However, there are still challenges such as equitable distribution of facilities, the need for renovation, and the need to increase children's participation in the development process.  This research emphasizes the importance of cross-sector collaboration and collaborative governance models to optimize KLA development. The resulting policy implications include the need to strengthen regulations, routine maintenance of facilities, and the active involvement of children and the community. These findings are in line with a recent study that highlights the importance of continuous evaluation and innovation in the development of child-friendly cities in Indonesia.

Abstract

This community service departs from the lack of basic understanding of ABA 25 Malang kindergarten students about the concept of energy and the importance of an energy-saving culture, a crucial issue given the challenges of the energy crisis and global climate change. To overcome this problem, we implemented a solution in the form of an interactive educational program designed specifically for early childhood. The methods used include storytelling, simulation games, educational songs, and hands-on practices (e.g. turning off lights when leaving the room or closing the water tap after use) that are presented in an interesting and digestible manner. The results of this community engagement activity showed a significant increase in students' awareness and understanding of various energy sources as well as the benefits of energy saving, as evidenced by the positive responses and simple behavioral changes that began to be demonstrated in daily activities at school. The conclusion of this service confirms that a fun and practical educational approach at an early age is very effective in instilling energy conservation values and building the foundation of environmental awareness for future generations.
