Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, data analysis skills have becomeessential competencies for students and the general public. However, data science learning is often perceived as complex due to its relianceon programming skills. To address this issue, a communityengagement program in the form of a webinar and workshop entitled“Codeless Data Science Using KNIME: Data Analysis andOptimization without Coding” was conducted. This program aimedto enhance participants’ literacy and understanding of fundamentaldata science concepts through a codeless approach using the KNIMEAnalytics Platform. The activity was implemented in two main stages:a webinar session focusing on conceptual explanations and the datascience workflow, followed by a hands-on workshop session involvingpractical data analysis and predictive modeling through visualworkflows without coding. Program evaluation was conducted usinga post-activity feedback questionnaire. The results indicated that69.4% of participants were very satisfied, 22.2% were satisfied, 5.6%felt neutral, and 2.8% were dissatisfied with the overallimplementation. These findings demonstrate that the majority ofparticipants responded positively to the materials, delivery methods, and overall organization of the activity. Therefore, this communityengagement program can be considered effective in promotinginclusive and accessible data science learning through a codelessapproach.

Abstract

The utilization of digital technology has become essential in business development. However, many young entrepreneurs, students, and members of the general public still face difficulties in developing professional business websites due to limited technical knowledge and lack of structured guidance. This community service program aimed to enhance participants’ digital literacy and practical skills in developing responsive business websites using the Bootstrap framework. The program applied an educative and participatory method through online webinars and hands-on workshops. Webinar sessions delivered conceptual materials on business websites, web development fundamentals, responsive design, and Bootstrap introduction, while workshop sessions provided direct guidance for building website structures and implementing Bootstrap components. Program effectiveness was measured using pretest, posttest, and participant feedback. The pretest results showed an average score of 79.5 with varied initial understanding. After the program, the posttest average increased to 92.32, with most participants achieving high scores. Participant feedback also indicated high satisfaction with material relevance, instructor competence, and online service quality. These results demonstrate that the combination of webinars and workshops effectively improves participants’ knowledge, digital literacy, and ability to independently develop Bootstrap-based business websites.

Abstract

The webinar and workshop “Forget SQL for a moment: Build Your First Database with MongoDB,” held on January 10, 2026, aims to provide knowledge about the NoSQL database service called MongoDB, with a focus on teaching how to install MongoDB, providing examples of terminal-based queries on Mongo Shell, and visualizing documents in the database using Mongo Compass. Additionally, participants learned how to install the MongoDB database server, access the database via the Mongo Shell terminal, and use Mongo Compass as a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to easily view document visualizations in each database collection. This event successfully attracted 35 student participants from the same department across all grades. This enthusiasm was also supported by the relevance of the course and the participants' interest in learning about the MongoDB database. The results of the pre-test, which participants took before the material was discussed, had an average score of 60.21 points and a median of 90 points, while the post-test, which participants took after the material was discussed in the webinar and workshop, had an average score of 71.88 points and a median of 100 points. In addition, participants provided mostly positive feedback, expressing enthusiasm and satisfaction with the event, as well as suggestions for improvement in the future. This activity served as a means of technological education that provided insight and supported the development of science and technology.

Abstract

The digital divide phenomenon in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 remains a major barrier to the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Many business actors still rely on manual showcases or social media platforms that are vulnerable to algorithm changes. This community service activity aims to provide a solution through a Webinar and Workshop program entitled “Rakit Etalase Digitalmu,” which introduces websites as professional and independent digital showcases. The program was implemented in two stages: community education (webinar) and technical training (workshop) covering basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests showed an average correct response rate of 86% in the pre-test and 82% in the post-test, which does not yet indicate a quantitative improvement, although participants’ understanding remained in the good category. Feedback results revealed a high level of participant satisfaction, with an average rating of approximately 4.2 out of 5, and demonstrated meaningful gains in knowledge and experience in developing websites as digital showcases for MSMEs.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages companies to adopt digital systems to improve employee attendance management. PT Sigap Jaya Sampoerna previously relied on a manual attendance process that caused data inaccuracies, slow recapitulation, and limited supervision. This study aims to design and implement a web-based employee attendance system integrated with QR Code technology to improve efficiency and accuracy. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. The system enables QR Code-based attendance recording and real-time monitoring of employee presence. The results show that the proposed system simplifies attendance processes, reduces recording errors, and improves transparency in attendance data management. This study proves that a web-based QR Code attendance system can effectively support digital transformation in employee attendance management in private companies.

Abstract

The  In Namu Ukur Village, the Community Service Program (KKN) was implemented to educate and teach the locals on how to use avocado seeds as a profitable and healthful tea product. The village's high level of extreme poverty and the amount of wasted avocado seeds served as the impetus for this socialization activity, which calls for straightforward, affordable, and basic business solutions. The initiative included processing demonstrations, awareness seminars, and hands-on support for local adolescents and groups of women. The findings demonstrated that the community could comprehend the cleaning, drying, roasting, and product packaging steps involved in turning avocado seeds into herbal tea. In addition to its health benefits, avocado seed tea has a promising economic future due to its inexpensive manufacturing costs and easily accessible raw materials. Through this program, the residents of Namu Ukur Village learned how to create business concepts based on local resources that may be used as an alternate strategy to boost the local economy and combat extreme poverty.

Abstract

Aging is an inevitable biological process that significantly affects physical, psychological, and social functions, particularly among individuals aged 40 years and older. In many communities, aging is commonly perceived as a condition that merely requires the absence of disease, without adequate attention to muscle strength, mobility, and functional independence. This community service program was conducted in Bangetayu Kulon Village, Semarang, Indonesia, to improve the quality of life of middle-aged and elderly residents through an innovative physical activity intervention known as Gokil Muscle Exercise. The program aimed to increase participants’ knowledge, awareness, and practical skills related to muscle strengthening as a strategy to prevent sarcopenia and functional decline. The activities included health education, interactive discussions, pre-test and post-test assessments, and guided exercise training using a combination of seated and standing movements accompanied by cheerful music. A total of 66 participants aged 31–63 years participated in the program. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of sarcopenia, its consequences, and appropriate preventive strategies. Participants also reported increased enthusiasm, enjoyment, and motivation to engage in regular physical activity. The findings suggest that being “healthy” alone is insufficient for successful aging; muscle strength and functional fitness are essential components of healthy aging. The Gokil Muscle Exercise program proved to be a feasible, enjoyable, and effective approach to enhancing physical awareness and promoting active aging in the community.

Abstract

The provision of credit to retail finance companies such as FIFGROUP Sukabumi Branch has a strategic role in the economy, but it also carries the risk of bad credit or bad loans that can disrupt business liquidity and profitability. The number of bad credit cases that are often accompanied by violations of fiduciary guarantees, such as embezzlement or illegal diversion of vehicles, are a major problem faced by partners. The purpose of this community service initiative is to evaluate risk mitigation by applying the 5Cs (Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, Condition) principles. This will be done using a descriptive qualitative method that uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the application of the 5C principle serves as a good initial filter to select customer integrity, financial ability, and collateral availability to reduce the risk of default. Overall, combining these five principles has shown that it is critical to keep a company's credit portfolio healthy, protect corporate assets from significant losses, and improve the efficacy of more accurate and responsible credit decision-making.
