Abstract

This community service is an implementation of science in the field of Design / Engineering, especially 3D object design. The Indonesian creative industry sees great opportunities with 3D design. This is closely related to the development of information technology that is increasing every year. Knowing how to create 3D objects will open up job opportunities for the current generation. In addition, it is also one way to attract scientific interests to the University level, especially in the Mechanical Engineering Department. In facing increasingly fierce global competition, it is very necessary The purpose of this community service program is to provide training in creating 3D objects to vocational school students because there is no comprehensive training on the process of creating 3D objects and their supporting tools. as an effort to improve design skills and also at the same time capture students' interests and talents to be able to learn early about one of the sciences in the Mechanical Engineering Department. 3D object design begins with how to create 3D objects with website-based Onshape3d. Onshape3d with a website was chosen because it is open source or free. Onshape3d's ability to create 3D objects and create 3D animations has long been recognized, because it is open source. To prevent creativity support from becoming a burden, it is hoped that this will become a source of innovation for participants. To assess the effectiveness of the training, student understanding was evaluated through Quizizz before the pre-test and after the post-test of the activity. The pre-test results showed that students' initial understanding of 3D design concepts and CAD software was still relatively low, with an average score of 45%. Their knowledge was still limited to the basic functions of modeling software. After the training, the post-test evaluation showed a significant improvement: the average score jumped to 76%, reflecting a better understanding of 3D design concepts and skills in using OnShape 3D.

Abstract

The Saraswati Cooperative, located at Telkom Corporate University Gegerkalong, Bandung, faces challenges in managing its financial administration, particularly in recording and reporting, which still uses a manual system. This system leads to data inaccuracies, delays in reconciliation, and difficulties in producing timely and accurate financial reports. Therefore, this community service activity aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the cooperative's financial management by providing training and mentoring in the use of cloud-based accounting software, Accurate Online. The method used is a learning-by-doing approach, where participants are directly involved in using the software through transaction simulations relevant to the cooperative's operations. Evaluation results showed significant improvements in three main indicators: basic accounting understanding (60%), mastery of software features (183%), and report analysis skills (87.5%). Although the training went well, there were obstacles such as resistance to technological change from senior staff and inadequate hardware specifications. The implemented solutions included a personal approach to overcome resistance and recommendations for hardware upgrades. The success of this training demonstrates that the use of Accurate Online can accelerate the process of recording and reporting financial data in real time, improve operational efficiency, and support faster and more accurate decision-making at the Saraswati Cooperative. It is recommended that cooperatives conduct regular data maintenance and annual training refreshes to ensure the sustainability and reliability of the new system.

Abstract

Traditional blacksmiths in the Mekarmaju Tourism Village face persistent challenges related to low awareness and limited implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) practices. Production activities are largely conducted in traditional workspaces with minimal ventilation, inadequate fire safety measures, and unstructured workflows, while occupational risks are generally considered normal and manageable through personal precautions. Previous safety interventions have shown limited effectiveness due to cultural norms, low safety literacy, and discomfort with personal protective equipment. To address these challenges, this community engagement project used a marketing communications-based approach to design an OHS campaign framework rather than directly implementing technical interventions. The methodology consisted of field observations and needs assessments, campaign strategy development, and mentoring and conceptual evaluation involving key stakeholders, including blacksmith business owners, workers, village officials, and the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis). The resulting campaign design emphasized a family-centered narrative, positioning the craftsmen as primary breadwinners whose safety directly impacts family well-being, and used word-of-mouth communication, WhatsApp status content, and visual posters as primary channels. This study concludes that a culturally grounded and communication-driven campaign design offers a viable and contextually appropriate platform for raising OHS (Occupational Safety and Health) awareness in traditional craft communities and provides structured guidance for future implementation and impact evaluation.
