Abstract

E-books are digital teaching materials that can be integrated with various multimedia, including images, videos, animations or manipulative media. For the next e-book development process, data and information on what kind of e-book and what media have been integrated are needed. For this reason, a Systemic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted which examined what and how e-books were researched. This research uses PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systemic and Meta-Analysis) guidelines, by searching for scopus indexed articles in the 2019-2023 range involving a total of 193 articles. After the screening process, 14 articles were obtained which were then analyzed in accordance with the Research Question (RQ) that had been formulated. From the results of the study based on two RQs, it was found that (1) the most research design that examines e-books is design/development research; (2) the least integrated aspect in e-books is animation/manipulative media. These results have limitations in terms of the scope of data sources and the depth of study on the material discussed. So this research provides opportunities for further researchers both in development design and SLR.

Abstract

Acute kidney injury (AKI) may manifest in patients experiencing anaphylactic shock. Arterial hypotension significantly contributes to the pre-renal etiology of AKI. The condition of anaphylactic shock is a life-threatening situation that requires immediate intervention. The decrease in perfusion to the renal organs in patients with acute anaphylactic shock can lead to the development of acute kidney injury (AKI). This is characterized by an increase in the Urine (U) and Creatinine (Cr) ratio (>20:1) and is reversible if promptly managed through fluid resuscitation, which results in a decrease in serum creatinine levels. Anaphylactic shock can lead to the occurrence of pre-renal acute kidney injury (AKI), which can be reversible if promptly addressed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of rubber tire pulling training media on arm muscle strength and to determine the differences in the results of tire rubber pulling training with smash training without using a ball. This study used an experimental randomized pre-test and post-test groups design. The population was taken from all athletes at the Putra Ramas volleyball club in 2021. The data are the results of arm muscle strength when pulling the expanding dynamometer taken before and after training. The obtained data were tested using the SPSS 22 computer program. The data were normally distributed and homogeneous, so that they were then tested using paired t-test to compare the average values before and after training between each group, while the independent t-test was to determine the difference in the average values between the two groups. The conclusion is that pulling the rubber tire with 10 repetitions of 3 sets and smash training without using the ball for 10 repetitions of 3 sets both increase arm muscle strength and states that the alternative hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

This research constitutes a two-cycle School Action Research involving 29 teachers at SMAN 1 Jawilan, Serang, Banten. Employing data collection methods such as observation, field notes, and documentation, coupled with a comprehensive analysis utilizing both descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches, this study aimed to discern the impact of academic supervision on teachers' pedagogic competency in developing differentiated learning strategies. The data analysis demonstrated a discernible progression in pedagogic competency scores over the cycles. In the pre-cycle, scores were recorded at 44.17 with an average of 1.52, which subsequently increased to 65.44 with an average of 2.26 in cycle 1, and further elevated to 77.43 with an average of 2.67 in cycle 2. Similarly, an analogous advancement was observed in teachers' pedagogical competency scores for differentiated learning against predetermined standards, ascending from 38% in the pre-cycle to 69% in cycle 1, culminating in 97% in cycle 2. These findings substantiate the assertion that academic supervision plays a pivotal role in augmenting teachers' pedagogical competence, particularly in the context of developing differentiated learning methodologies.
