Abstract

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Indonesia was hit by an increase in several goods (inflation_namely cooking oil). From an Indonesian economic growth data that came from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) before and after the Covid-19 pandemic. Impacted by Covid-19, the level of economic growth Indonesia is relatively stable, but due to the impact of the Covid19 pandemic in early 2020, the economic growth rate of the Indonesian people has decreased very significantly, so this community service activity is based on these problems and provides solutions in the form of financial assistance and entrepreneurship training.

Abstract

The problem of the low level of women's political representation in the regional legislature has become a serious concern for the community and various interest groups in Aceh Province. Identification of this problem explains that this condition is caused by the low skills of female political cadres in designing appropriate and efficient political campaign strategies. The use of social media through the platforms Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube is an important aspect in designing a political communication strategy to increase the electability of women's political party cadres ahead of regional legislative elections. This training aims to increase the electability of female political party cadres by utilizing social media as a political campaign strategy to potential voters in the constituency. This training uses a conceptual approach, theory and practice. The results of this training show that the participants have gained knowledge and technical skills in designing political campaign strategies through social media which are expected to increase their electability to compete in the political contestation of the upcoming legislative elections.

Abstract

Tarubatang Village is one of the shallots producing centers in Central Java. When the main harvest season arrives, the supply of shallots becomes abundant and causes shallot prices to fall. The existence of the Sumber Rejeki Women Farmers Group (KWT) is an alternative to improve people's welfare, through further processing shallots into fried shallots. Even though the production process is still incidental, this activity needs to be managed properly. In determining the cost of products, there were still errors in the calculations, so that the impact on profit information was greater than it really was. Some factory overhead costs are not calculated. With this training, it is hoped that KWT Sumber Rejeki can review the calculation of the cost of its products.

Abstract

So far, the administrative records of Foundation X's receipts have not gone well. This causes financial reporting to be less transparent and accountable. The purpose of this training is to introduce the payment system mechanism through a virtual account to employees in work units in this organization so that it can help administration become better, especially transparency in revenue sources that will be used to support operational activities. The method used in this training is lectures, followed by group discussion forums and virtual account practice/simulation. As a result of the training activities, participants have knowledge about the advantages and disadvantages of the payment system and are more confident and more prepared to use virtual accounts to serve parties who will carry out transactional activities with this this foundation.

Abstract

schools in carrying out reading literacy at the Inpres Bert Kaluku Bodoa Elementary School. Reading is an important thing in the teaching and learning process. Reading is the process of absorbing knowledge through reading or writing. Each student has abilities that vary from fast, medium and slow in terms of reading. This study aims to increase the need for habituation in students in increasing interest in reading. future at SD Inpres Bert Kaluku Bodoa. With some data and documenting the results of "learning while learning" making a reading corner in class. The object of the research is the class teacher and students in grades V and a reading corner in the library with data collection techniques by direct observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively, showing that the first reading corner activity was an evaluation program at the Inpres Bert Kaluku Bodoa Elementary School. Abstract

Work that requires being in a humid area, can cause fungal infections. Skin fungal infections in humans can be divided into two, namely dermatophytosis and non-dermatophytosis. Dermatophytosis is a superficial fungal infection that attacks the keratinized parts of the skin, nails and hair and is caused by 3 genera, namely Microsporum, Epidermophyton, and Trichophyton. While non dermatophytosis is a fungal infection of the outer skin or this type of fungal infection does not reach the keratin tissue. Non-dermatophyte fungi include Aspergillus sp., Malessezia furfur. Due to dermatophyte and non-dermatophyte fungal infections, namely itching of the skin or earlobe. This activity aims to increase the understanding of cleaning workers at one of the universities in Surabaya about the dangers of fungus on the skin, so that they can prevent and anticipate early spread. The method used in this community service activity is the presentation and discussion of the dangers of skin fungal infections. To measure the level of understanding of the participants regarding the dangers of toxoplasmosis, a pretest was conducted at the beginning and at the end of the activity. This activity was attended by 22 janitors, both male and female. The average pretest score is 49,63 points, while the average posttest score is 71,48 points. These results indicate that there is an increase in the knowledge of cleaning workers at one of the universities in Surabaya about the causes, dangers, modes of transmission and methods of preventing skin fungal diseases. Educational activities are expected to be sustainable so that the community can apply steps to prevent skin fungal infections.

Abstract

Sugar disease or diabetes is commonly known in medical terms with diabetes mellitus. Diabetes mellitus is a disease characterized by an increase in blood glucose levels (hyperglycemia) that occurs due to the body's lack of the hormone insulin both absolute and relative.  Glucose is a form of carbohydrate metabolism that functions as the main source of energy controlled by insulin. Excess glucose is converted into glycogen which will be stored in the liver and muscles for backup if needed. Increased blood glucose levels occur in patients with Impaired Glucose Tolerance (TGT), Impaired Fasting Blood Sugar (GDPT) and Diabetes Mellitus.  Service activities in the form of education related to the dangers of Diabetes Mellitus, the use of natural ingredients as an alternative to lowering sugar levels and checking Random Blood Sugar levels.  There is an increase in public knowledge because  the post-test value is higher when compared to the pre-test value.   The  average pre-test score is 38.3 points while  the average post-test  score is 79.2 points.   And  the results of the GDA examination stated 23 people whose results were above normal and 13 people whose results were still within the normal range.

Abstract

Water is one of the main basic needs for humans. This community service aims to provide information to the village government and the community regarding the availability of groundwater potential zones and provide recommendations for groundwater drilling depths. This activity is motivated by the fact that most of the people in Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province, especially in Maddanreng Pulu Village, still rely on shallow groundwater (dug wells) to meet their clean water needs. The method used is the geoelectric method where data is taken directly in the field, the data from the measurements in the field are then analyzed to determine the groundwater potential zone which is the target for drilling in Maddanreng Pulu Village, Patimpeng District, Bone Regency. The geoelectrical measurement results obtained a resistivity value of 15.8 ohm.m as a layer that has the potential as an aquifer layer, the thickness of this layer reaches 161 meters starting from a depth of 13.3 to 174 meters.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to socialize and provide an understanding of yariah economic literacy from an early age to Arrahmani Tahfidzul Qur'an students. Islamic economics is a system that requires the control of property to the public in accordance with the principles of justice. This is done to avoid hoarding excessive and stagnant assets so that they do not flow into the economy which results in reduced sectoral productivity which results in stalled economic acceleration. However, in practice there are still many people who do not understand the principles of Islamic economics. This is due to the lack or limited public knowledge of current Islamic economic literacy. For this reason, it is important to carry out socialization to increase literacy among Muslims, especially millennials. The method used in this service is to socialize face to face to students at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Arrahmani Foundation. The team from the UNPAM Islamic Economics Study Program successfully conducted socialization of Islamic economics to aliyah students of the Tahfidzul Qur'an Arrahmani Foundation.
