Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic over the past three years has severely affected the tourism industry, particularly in Banten. The substantial decline in tourist visits is attributed to concerns about various risks. In January 2023, the Indonesian government officially lifted the PPKM (social distancing) regulations, allowing most activities, including tourism, to return to normal. Recognizing this opportunity, it is imperative for all stakeholders to implement effective actions and policies to rejuvenate Indonesian tourism, with a particular focus on Banten. The objective of this study is to investigate the interplay between attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioural control. This research adopts a modified perspective from the theory of planned behaviour to understand tourist revisit intentions to Umang Island, Banten, with the mediating variable being destination image. A non-probability sampling technique was employed, and questionnaires were distributed using an online application (Google Form) to 165 respondents who had previously visited Umang Island. The findings reveal that the modified perspective of the theory of planned behaviour, encompassing attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioural control, significantly influences destination image. Additionally, the perception of risk significantly impacts tourists' intentions and attitudes towards returning, while subjective norms and perceptions of behavioural control play a significant role in the intention to revisit. Furthermore, attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioural control exert a direct influence on tourists' return visits, with destination image serving as a mediating variable

Abstract

To maintain or even enhance the current performance of the company, businesses must pay more serious attention to employee performance. Key factors studied include employee development, emotional intelligence, and work-life balance (WLB). This study aims to explore how employee development, emotional intelligence, and WLB affect employee performance through multiple linear regression analysis. The results of hypothesis testing show that WLB, emotional intelligence, and employee development together significantly influence employee performance in the cosmetics industry in Surabaya. However, the influence of WLB on employee performance is relatively smaller compared to other factors studied. Therefore, for the cosmetics industry in Surabaya, there is a need to increase attention to WLB as part of the strategy to help employees achieve a better balance between work and personal life. Thus, improvements in this area can have a positive impact on employee productivity and job satisfaction, and help the company achieve its business goals more effectively amidst the challenges and dynamics of the changing market

Abstract

The Covid-19 outbreak is very detrimental to many countries. Indonesia is no exception and has been hit by a very detrimental impact on this nation. Starting from 2020, all economic sectors will not immediately be affected, and the Indonesian population will also feel the devastating impact of this pandemic. The government does not just sit idly by watching this country's miserable situation, tax incentive policies are provided to taxpayers throughout Indonesia, this is one of the government's efforts to help this nation's economy remain strong. Providing economic stimulus to several sectors affected by the shock caused by this outbreak also provides a bit of fresh air. Then several research results indicate that the government's decision to implement tax incentives for economic actors has become a bit of a passion for economic actors in the Covid- 19 conditions. Using quantitative descriptive research methods with primary and secondary data analysis which is explained in detail and clearly in the description. The aim of this research is to find out how the government's policy on tax incentives affected the Indonesian economy during the Covid-19 pandemic. The basis for providing this tax incentive is the state's effort to implement the National Economic Recovery (PEN) program to stem the Indonesian economy which experienced a decline every time in 2020

Abstract

This study analyzes the Business Model Canvas (BMC) of Bakmi Cikuda Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, a culinary business in Jatinangor. Bakmi Cikuda is famous for its homemade recipes that produce a distinctive and authentic taste, presenting interesting menu variations such as yamin noodles, kwetiau, yahun, and other dishes that are popular with students and the local community. Despite facing challenges, such as the lack of maximizing digital technology in marketing, dependence on suppliers, and a main location that is only centered and available in the Jatinangor area, Bakmi Cikuda has succeeded in attracting customers with affordable prices and a variety of menu variations. By using the Business Model Canvas, this study identifies strategies that can be applied to optimize potential and face these challenges. The elements of the Business Model Canvas analyzed include customer segments, value propositions, distribution channels, customer relationships, sources of revenue, key resources, key activities, key partners, and cost structures. The results of the analysis show that a deep understanding of these elements can help Bakmi Cikuda to be more focused in business strategy and anticipate future challenges. The proposed strategies include strengthening digital presence, diversifying supply chains, expanding reach outside Jatinangor, addressing culinary challenges in Jatinangor, improving location and accessibility and offering affordable culinary options

Abstract

This research aims to determine the local potential of the Terumbu sub-district through SWOT analysis. Local potential is an invaluable advantage of a region or region. SWOT analysis is an analysis based on logic that can maximize strengths and opportunities, but simultaneously minimize weaknesses and threats. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used interview techniques with residents of the Terumbu sub-district.  Observations were carried out directly in the Terumbu sub-district area. The results of the research show that the Terumbu sub-district has strengths that can be maximized in order to develop further, starting from owning large areas of rice fields, having gypang MSMEs, red bricks and having a strategic geographic location. Reefs also have weaknesses, namely, the clean and healthy lifestyle is very low, the habit of throwing rubbish carelessly, MCK (bathing, washing, toilet) is still in rivers/streams which are not clean. In terms of opportunities, it is still very possible for the Reef to be developed by providing counseling, assistance, training and education to increase the knowledge, skills and insight of the community. Apart from that, the threats to the Terumbu sub-district are diseases, chronic, infectious diseases, malnutrition, stunting and decreased intelligence. By suppressing existing weaknesses and threats through counseling, training, mentoring and education, the perception of the Terumbu sub-district changes from a bad perception to a good perception because it has succeeded in increasing local potential such as agricultural products, MSMEs and the lifestyle of its people for the better
