Jurnal PUAN INDONESIA (Pengabdian Untuk Anak Negeri) Indonesia merupakan wadah untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil Pengabdian Masyarakat dari berbagai disiplin ilmu dalam bentuk Jurnal ilmiah dan Open Accessed System. Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra se Kepulauan Riau (Idebahasa Kepri). Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan di Jurnal Puan Indonesia meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di OJS system Jurnal Puan Indonesia maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. Jurnal Puan Indonesia menerima manuskrip atau naskah artikel dalam bidang riset terapan dan pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup bidang keilmuan yang relevan dengan: sosial, kependidikan, sains, keolahragaan, bahasa, bisnis dan ekonomi dari berbagai kalangan akademisi dan peneliti baik nasional maupun internasional. Jurnal PUAN INDONESIA akan menerbitkan jurnal secara bilingual pada bulan Juli dan Januari setiap tahunya. JPI menerapkan kebijakan blind review dimana setiap tulisan yang masuk akan dikirimkan kepada mitra bestari yang terdaftar di JPI. Proses review dapat berlangsung maksimum sampai 30 (tiga puluh) hari kerja dengan alokasi waktu yang diberikan kepada tiap mitra bestari dalam menyelesaikan proses review nya adalah maksimum 14 (empat belas) hari kerja. Jika mitra bestari yang ditunjuk sebelumnya tidak mampu menyelesaikan pekerjaan review-nya dalam tenggat waktu yang ditentukan maka ketua dewan redaksi akan menunjuk mitra bestari pengganti untuk melakukan review tulisan yang dimaksud.

Internet has a positive impact on everyday life, but it can also pose a tremendous threat to families or children. Every parent wants their child not to be trapped into the internet world that tends to be detrimental. Therefore, parents should supervise the activities of children in the internet. This activity was carried out through two meetings, which took place in Sekanak Raya Village where the participants of this devotional activity were the Sekanak Raya community. This devotional activity provides coaching to parents to be able to carry out every stage of managing the use of technology and the internet to be useful in the family including in setting mobile phones so that children cannot open things that are negative, teaching parents to be able to internet healthy with children, teaching parents to be able to supervise children well in the introduction of a healthy internet. Based on the discussion of construction conducted on the Sekanak Raya community, it was concluded as follows: (1).Participants understand about the safe use of smartphones for families; (2).Participants of devotion are able to supervise children in the internet; (3).Participants are able to apply the knowledge obtained in accordance with the material of devotion provided.

English is very important for communication between countries so that BP batam is a government agency that cannot be separated from developing its English language skills. LPPM Unrika's collaboration with BP Batam Finance Bureau staff in implementing online English language training during the pandemic to improve English language skills. Overall service activities are carried out in a span of 6 months (July-August 2021). The post-test results obtained a conclusion that the basic English skills of the inmates were very good with an average score of 81.8, while the lowest score was 80 and the highest score was 85. When compared to the pre-test where the lowest score was 71.6 and the highest was 80, with an average of 77.1. So the average result of the pre-test and post-test scores is 79.4, so the achievement value of BP Batam's financial bureau staff increases significantly.

Information technology is a knowledge that is always evolving from tools or communication which is a delivery of information through rapid communications, which relates to information problems in terms of all aspects ranging from data collection, data storage, data processing from information to the process of delivering information to people who need it. The purpose of fostering information technology and healthy internet use is an educational process by providing sufficient understanding of the current latest technology and being educated with the Islamic bank operating system, the owner of the fund invests his money so he can earn interest from the bank. If the profit sharing from the customer's funds is then distributed to those in need (eg venture capital), with a profit sharing agreement according to the agreement. Guidance on the Development of Information Technology and Bank Sariah Operational Systems at the Vocational High School Nang Nadim Batam to find out how to use good information technology and know the operating system of the Sariah bank. With this coaching, it is hoped that students will be helped in understanding the service that was carried out on January 15 and 16, 2019 at SMK Hang Nadim Batu Aji, Batam City.

Community Service (PKM) aims to foster housewives in Citra Laguna Housing, Batam. More than 50 percent of the housewives in this housing simply carry out the profession as a housewife without any other activities. Meanwhile, complaints about the inadequacy of household needs are very high. They want extra money to make ends meet. Through this PKM, the implementation method forms direct training and practice on making homemade ice cream products and selling them online or e-commerce. Implementation is carried out twice per meeting. First, fostering participants and practice on how to make ice cream, which was represented by 15 participants. Second, teach and practice buying and selling online through internet media such as through Facebook, Instagram, and others (e-commerce which is familiar among housewives). The results during the two meetings are as follows: 1. Housewives mastered how to make ice cream products with satisfactory results. 2. Housewives know how to download images of products they want to sell in common marketing languages.

Batam is the third most visited city of foreign tourists due to the strategic location that closes to Singapore and Malaysia. It becomes a distinct advantage with the number of tourists visiting. In addition to marine tourism and shopping tourism, Batam has agro-tourism in the islands around Batam Island. Cafe Zore in Rempang Island's dragon fruit plantation is often visited by domestic and foreign tourists. Foreign tourists often experience difficulties in communicating with English because the employees could not speak English. It is aimed to develop employees' English skills through methods of community education and training with lecturing, discussion and demonstration techniques. The result of this training was the improvement of the English spoken ability. To sum up this PkM activity is that English communication skills are very important to welcome foreign tourists visiting and support the government to develop tourism in Batam

In education, one of the evidences of success in the learning process is with the achievement of the test results obtained. The national exam is evaluation system of national primary and secondary education standards and quality equality inter-regional education level conducted by the Center for Educational Assessment, Ministry of National Education in Indonesia based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2003 states that in the context of controlling the quality of education nationally, an evaluation is carried out as a form of accountability of education providers to parties who interested. Indonesian subjects are important for all students because position as the national language. Indonesian subjects have been studied starting from elementary school students up to the college level. However, this subject is still a scourge which is scary because in the evaluation it is considered that there are many trapping questions. other than that The text-based 2013 curriculum requires students to be able to understand the text before they answer the exam questions. students also have difficulty reading quickly thus spending a lot of time to solve the problem of the form of the text in exams, especially for middle school students. Guidance is needed for students in answering UN questions in order to get satisfactory results.The activities carried out in this service are making try out questions National Examination, then the implementation of the National Examination pretest, and discussion of questions the. In the discussion students are given guidance in answering exam questions National which has been prepared in advance. The implementation of the pretest the average score of students is 65 while after the guidance was carried out in the form of discussion of the UN questions so that the average score of students increased. There appears to be a significant change in student scores. They are also very enthusiastic in discussing the existing problems. They are also fighting for answer the questions discussed together.

Students and Students are a place for students' aspirations to express their creativity. OSIS is formed based on the decision of the principal of the school which has a management body. Students who are involved in the OSIS management body must pass several criteria and requirements, including having communication skills and having a leadership spirit. Communication has a strong influence in shaping a person's attitude and leadership style in an organization. Students must be given briefings on attitudes and leadership styles so that they can direct, control their members and be responsible so that all parts of the work are coordinated in order to achieve company or organizational goals. One of the requirements to become an OSIS administrator is sitting at Ananda High School in Batam City, where the psychological condition of students is still unstable to lead. So that there are some conflicts that arise such as misunderstanding between members, task structure factors and organizational structures, for example, the unequal desire between the treasurer and chairman, personal factors, namely individuals must make decisions concerning themselves and the organization, environmental factors such as the absence of support from the environment or certain parties, differences of opinion, incomplete gatherings, many administrators who leave, there is leisure between members, poor time management and declining performance.

From the results of discussions conducted with the Principal of the Kindergarten School. Kartika, it was agreed that the problems that were resolved in this activity were: 1) So that Partners had fun gardening media; 2) So that Partners have knowledge and skills in managing hydroponic gardens. The agreed solutions to solve the problems faced by Partners are as follows: 1) Procurement of hydroponic gardening equipment, so that gardening becomes cleaner and more attractive; 2) Training on hydroponic gardening procedures for teachers. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in teachers' understanding of hydroponic farming by 90%. Besides that, there is also an increase in teacher skills in hydroponic farming as shown by good plant growth during the harvest period.

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) ditujukan bagi anak sejak lahir hingga usia 6 tahun, yang diatur dalam UUD No. 20 Tahun 2003. Pentingnya Pendidikan anak sejak usia dini sudah disadari oleh masyarakat yang terlihat dari berkembang pesatnya lembaga pendidikan bagi anak-anak usia balita seperti kelompok bermain, taman kanak-kanak dan sekolah dasar bauk yang dikelola yayasan maupun berbagai lembaga keagamaan salah satunya adalah PAUD El Shadday. Pendidikan PAUD sendiri tidak hanya berfokus pada pemberian stimulasi pengayaan pengetahuan anak tetapi lebih diarahkan kepada pemberian potensi dan daya kreatifitas serta pembentukan suikap mental dan kepribadian anak. Hal ini akan menjadi dasar untuk pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian anak hingga dewasa. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Paud El Shadday Kecamatan Medan Deli dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mengajar guru-guru PAUD. Kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan adalah bimbingan dan penyuluhan dari narasumber dibidang psikologi anak dan pemberian permainan edukatif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru PAUD lebih memahami karakter anak didik, meningkatkan kreativitas guru melalui penambahan permainan edukatif anak dan pemanfaatan bahan-bahan yang ada disekitar dalam meningkatkan sensorik, motorik dan psikomotorik anak, serta bertambahnya rak besi buku sebagai tempat menyimpan buku pelajaran dan prakarya anak didik.

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) adalah pendidikan formal yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan kejuruan pada jenjang pendidikan menengah. Pendidikan kejuruan merupakan jenis pendidikan yang berorientasi pada keterampilan khusus sesuai dengan jurusannya. Seyogianya lulusan pendidikan kejuruan akan mudah memasuki pasar. Aktualisasi di lapangan tidak demikian. Dikutip dari News.okezone.com, lulusan SMK selama ini kurang memenuhi kualifikasi yang diharapkan akibat kurangnya kompetensi dan keterampilan lulusan sesuai dengan kompetensi di dunia usaha dunia industri (DUDI). Kebutuhan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang berkualitas di dunia industri menuntut SMK untuk membekali lulusannya sesuai dengan kompetensi-kompetensi yang dibutuhkan dunia usaha maupun dunia industri. Keberhasilan peserta didik dalam menguasai suatu kompetensi tidak lepas dari proses pendidikan. Salah satu bidang kompetensi yang berkembang begitu cepat saat ini adalah Teknologi Otomasi Industri, sehingga kompetensi semakin dibutuhkan dan menjadi tututan dewasa ini di lingkungan industri. Bidang kontrol otomasi industri banyak memberi kemudahan-kemudahan bagi masyarakat pengguna lebih khusus bagi seorang operator untuk mengoperasikan suatu sistim kontol. Dan Smart Relay/PLC yang dapat digunakan untuk mempermuda sistem pengontrolan yang dimaksud. Namun dalam pemanfaatannya smart relay/PLC harus diprogram secara khusus untuk menjalankannya. Dalam kurikulum SMK khususnya jurusan listrik, smart relay/PLC adalah pelajaran yang wajib diajarkan kepada siswa untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa, namun dengan terbatasnya peralatan modul dan guru yang mengajar bahkan ada sekolah yang sama sekali tidak mengajarkan khusus Smart Relay/PLC ini. Dalam lomba-lomba Ketrampilan Siswa (LKS) tingkat Nasional untuk SMK dengan jenis lomba bidang Electrical Instalasion beberapa tahun terakhir ini menjadi standar Nasional, Smart Relay/PLC sebagai pengontrol untuk suatu rangkaian instalasi yang dilengkapi dengan sensor-sensor, saklar-saklar, motor listrik dan peralatan lainnya. Smart Relay/PLC sudah menjadi standar lomba LKS tingkat Nasional. Untuk itu dengan melihat kondisi serta kebutuhan sekolah untuk menunjang pelajaran tentang smart relay/PLC maka sebagai institusi pendidikan vokasi terpanggil untuk membantu melengkapi peralatan dan pelatihan dasar Smart Relay/Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) dengan metode pembelajaran Trainer Human Machine Interface (Trainer HMI) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru/pengajar dibidang kontrol industri.
