Abstract

Hospitalization can be a distressing experience for children, leading to anxiety due to unfamiliar environments, treatments, and procedures. This study aimed to analyze the effect of coloring picture play therapy on anxiety levels in hospitalized preschool children at St. Theresia Room, Gunung Maria Tomohon Hospital. Using a pre-experimental pre-post test design, 15 preschool children were sampled through non-probability sampling. The Wilcoxon test and the Zung-Self Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) were used for analysis. Results showed a significant effect of coloring picture play therapy on reducing anxiety, with a p-value of 0.001 < α = 0.05. The study concludes that coloring picture play therapy effectively reduces anxiety in hospitalized preschool children.

Abstract

The current era of technological advancement has significantly changed various aspects of human life, including behavior patterns and lifestyles. Lifestyle changes that were initially cosmetic and used only on special occasions have now become daily necessities, leading to diverse demands for cosmetics and intense competition. This situation presents both opportunities and challenges for cosmetic companies. This study aims to determine how brand experience, brand trust, and perceived value affect brand loyalty of Maybelline products in Surabaya.The research method employed is quantitative research, with a sample size of 102 respondents who filled the sample criteria. Sampling was conducted using the Purposive Sampling technique, with the criteria being female, Maybelline product user, having made at least two purchases, and residing in Surabaya. Data analysis in this study utilized SEM-PLS. The results indicate that Brand Experience, Trust, and Perceived Value positively influence Brand Loyalty towards Maybelline products in Surabaya. Abstract

This research analyzes risk management related to "TEF Operations on MRT Jakarta's Underground Trains and Stations" using HIRADC, referencing AS/NZ4360 standards and its derivatives in ISO 31000, as well as root cause analysis such as fishbone and 5 why analysis. The objectives are as follows, identify potential risks due to changes in TEF operations, provide recommendations to mitigate these risks, and establish suitable and safe TEF operational methods for underground trains and stations. The study identified 33 potential risks from changes in TEF operations on MRT Jakarta's underground system. Additionally, 17 managerial actions were recommended to minimize these risks. Manual TEF operations are deemed more suitable since the automated TEF operation poses a high-risk category that requires control.

Abstract

The Sukodono District Office is an agency organization engaged in government institutions, the Sukodono District Office has a role in community services and village development in the Sukodono District area. The Sukodono District Office has employees consisting of several parts of the work field. This study aims to determine the influence of servant leadership style, interpersonal communication, and work motivation on the organizational commitment of employees in Sukodono District. This research focuses on Sukodono District employees. The population in the study is employees who work at the Sukodono District Office. The sample was obtained through the saturated sample technique by obtaining 41 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS), with validity tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of the study show that Servant Leadership Style has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment, Interpersonal Communication has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment, and Work Motivation has a positive effect on Organizational Commitment.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of emphasizing practical drawing learning methods and work competencies in the SKKNI for building drawings. The majority of respondents work in the vocational school sector with a percentage of 53%. Furthermore, as many as 41% of respondents work in the PT sector. Meanwhile, only 6% of respondents work in the high school sector. The results of the analysis show that the majority of respondents consider these two methods to have a significant impact. The emphasis on "Fieldwork" was considered very large by 40 respondents and had a large influence by another 35 respondents, while "Participation in Research Projects" was considered very large by 25 respondents and had a large influence by 40 respondents. These findings emphasize the importance of practical learning methods and research projects in preparing graduates for various career paths, and demonstrate the variety of career choices made by graduates after completing their studies.

Abstract

Stroke is a neurological condition that can lead to death, physical and mental impairment, and even premature death. It is important to understand the changes that occur in the early stages of a stroke as they contribute to cell damage at the time of the stroke. It is vital to undertake self-intervention that is expected to improve healing, quality of life, hospitalization time, and stroke mortality.. The aim of this study was to analyze the influence of family centered care against quality life of stroke patient at home in Tomohon City, Indonesia. The method used was pre-experimental with a pre-post test design with a sample of 150 patients stroke using the Wilcoxon test. The sampling technique uses non-probability. The instruments were used questionaire about family care centered for patient stroke. The research results obtained a value of p = 0.001 < α = 0.05, stating that there was an influence of family centered care on stroke patient care at home in Tomohon City. The conclusion in this study is that level of family centered care on stroke patient care must be increase at home in Tomohon City to reducing level of stress. It is because family centered care on stroke patient increase quality of life patient stroke.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of operating cash flow opacity, institutional ownership, and audit quality on stock price crashes. The population for this study consists of non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that experienced a stock price crash in 2020. The sample consisted of 178 companies selected using simple random sampling techniques. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from the company's annual report and the stock price list on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and analysed using the regression analysis method. Empirical results show that operating cash flow opacity and institutional ownership are positively related to stock price crashes, while audit quality has a negative effect on stock price crashes.

Abstract

This paper explores the long-term impact of South Korean military education in the United States on South Korea's defense capacity building. Through qualitative case studies, the research examines the evolution of South Korea's participation in US military education programs and the subsequent utilization of US-trained officers within the South Korean military. The findings reveal significant benefits such as enhanced interoperability, modernization of military tactics, and the development of a highly skilled officer corps. However, the study also addresses challenges including cultural barriers, costs, and political polarization. By providing a comprehensive analysis, this research underscores the critical role of international military education in strengthening South Korea’s defense capabilities and fostering enduring defense partnerships between South Korea and the United States.

This paper explores the role of AUKUS in enhancing Australia's military capacity amid evolving Indo-Pacific geopolitics. The AUKUS partnership between Australia, the UK, and the US aims to increase Australia's defense capabilities, focusing on nuclear-powered submarines, cyber security, AI, and underwater warfare. The analysis shows how AUKUS addresses Australia's military challenges by offering advanced technology and strategic support. The SSN-AUKUS submarines symbolize a major advancement in Australia's naval capabilities. The partnership also promises economic and social benefits, including job creation and infrastructure development. However, the study also notes potential drawbacks, such as increased regional tensions and the risk of an arms race, highlighting the need for balanced diplomatic effort.

Abstract

This study discusses the effect of work discipline and organizational culture on employee morale with work motivation as an intervening variable at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Boven Digoel Regency. This research uses quantitative methods with an associative approach. The results concluded that work motivation is not able to mediate the effect of work discipline on employee morale. The effect of organizational culture on employee morale at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Boven Digoel Regency will be greater if done through work motivation. The direct effect of organizational culture on morale is smaller than the indirect effect of organizational culture on morale. It can be concluded that work motivation is able to mediate the effect of organizational culture on employee morale. Recommendations, the leadership of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office of Boven Digoel Regency should improve work discipline by providing examples and disciplinary sanctions according to violations committed by subordinates, need to improve their organizational culture by increasing awareness in carrying out their responsibilities. To increase work enthusiasm, it can be done by providing motivation to each employee in order to create the desired goals.
