Abstract

Pancasila, as the source of legal morality of Indonesia, is used as the primary benchmark by Judges of the Constitutional Court in providing decision. The paper at hand explains that the constitutional court decision Number 90/PUU-XXI/2023 has moral weaknesses related to legal behaviour derived from Pancasila, specifically, First: Constitutional Court Decision had led to conflict and arising different views that potentially might cause disruption to Indonesia nation entity. Second: Constitutional Court Decision does not fully align with the Wisdom in Deliberation principle contained in the Fourth Principle of Pancasila. Third: Constitutional Court Judgment does not satisfy the sense of justice for Indonesian People. This paper employs a normative research method with a conceptual approach and a value-based approach.

Abstract

Curcumin has low oral bioavailability, low solubility, and is easily degraded, making its clinical application difficult. This study aims to determine the effect of optimum concentration and formula of chitosan and TPP in the preparation of curcumin nanoparticles on particle size, zeta potential, adsorption efficiency, and incision wound healing. The optimisation method used simplex lattice design method. There were 8 draft formulas consisting of a combination of chitosan and TPP. Each formula was tested for zeta potential value, adsorption efficiency, particle morphology, and wound healing ability. The optimum formula was then determined and analysed using the simplex lattice design method. The combination of chitosan and TPP with simplex lattice design gives an influence on curcumin nanoparticles which reduces particle size, gives a negative zeta potential value, increases the sorption efficiency of the active substance (curcumin) and accelerates the healing effect of cut wounds in mice. The proportion of chitosan and TPP that can produce the optimum formula using simplex lattice design on the critical parameters of particle size, zeta potential value, sorption efficiency and wound healing ability is chitosan.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to develop an efficient business process model to resolve issues related to the ordering cycle of food and beverages at Paolo Fest Café. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) approach and follows the ADDIE methodology, which includes three stages: analysis, design, and development. The research findings underscore the need for a website system that showcases the Paolo Fest Café menu, starting from selecting the table number to checking out. Payments can be conveniently made using the name or table number and can be processed either at the cashier or by customers requesting the bill at their table. This system eliminates the need for waiters to take orders individually and simplifies the payment process for customers. Furthermore, daily or monthly transaction reports can be easily generated using the website's transaction history feature, removing the necessity for manual recalculations.

Abstract

This study analyzes the communication process of Acehnese women in determining dowry amounts, the role of their families, and the communication strategies used. Theories applied include interpersonal, family, intercultural communication, and dowry. Using a qualitative method, 6 informants (3 married and 3 in serious relationships) from Pidie Regency were interviewed. The findings show that dowry decisions involve effective communication between women and their families, with parents playing a key role. Discussions within the woman's family are then conveyed to the man's family, leading to a final decision. The man’s qualities are prioritized over his ability to provide a high dowry. Data collection was carried out through interviews and. The communication strategv of Acehnese women and their families in determining the dowry involves discussions within the woman's family, which are then conveyed to the man's family, leading to a final decision regarding the dowry amount and whether to proceed with the marriage. The findings indicate that the criteria for the man are the main consideration in choosing a partner, rather than his ability to provide a high dowry that does not meet the criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the implementation of learning to write procedural texts, including the use of models, materials, media, and learning evaluation; and (2) describe student learning outcomes related to the use of these models, materials, media, and evaluations. This research is qualitative with an exploratory study design, involving teachers and seventh-grade students at three junior high schools in Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, document analysis, and literature study, with data analysis through reduction, modeling, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that two learning models are used, namely project-based learning and problem-based learning. Some teaching materials follow textbooks, while others are developed based on local culture. The media used are varied, including visual, audio-visual, and internet-based media. Learning evaluation uses attitudinal, formative, and summative assessments. The use of project-based learning and audio-visual media is more effective in increasing student motivation, creativity, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines how Okezone.com and Medcom.id construct reality in their reporting on ASO policies using Robert N. Entman's framing analysis. A qualitative descriptive method was used, focusing on eight news articles (four from each outlet). This study analyzes how the media defines the implementation of ASO policies, diagnoses the causes, makes moral judgments, and proposes solutions. The findings point to a different framing strategy: Medcom.id, which is connected to Surya Paloh, the chairman of the NasDem Party, supports the policy through sources connected to the government. On the contrary, Hery Tanoesoedibjo's Okezone.com criticized the ASO policy so that it affected negative framing and the selection of critical sources. These different approaches describe how the construction of media reality is shaped by external factors and ideological influences. Understanding these dynamics encourages critical news consumption and awareness of media bias in shaping public opinion.

Abstract

Acne is experienced by 90% of teenagers due to infection with the bacteria Staphylococcus epidermidis. Bacterial infections are treated with antibiotics, but excessive use causes resistance, so medicinal plants are used that do not have side effects. (Aloe vera L.) have antibacterial activity because contain anthraquinone compounds. The aim of research is update the optimization of aloe vera leaf gel to increase the effectiveness of use. The research method uses Simplex Laticce Design with HPMC, Karbopol and TEA. The optimum formula concentration of 1.3379% HPMC, 2.540% Carbopol and 0.481% TEA produced predicted and experimental values for adhesion power (7.977 and 7.5 seconds), spreadability (7 and 6.87 cm), pH (6.128 and 6 ), viscosity (246.775 and 265.3 dPa.S) and inhibition zone (23.772 and 22.66mm). The results of the Paired Sample Test for verification data show a p value of 0.430 > 0.05, is not significant difference between the predicted and the experimental.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to report the findings of a study carried out by Indonesia lighting brand Rexx to determine how digital visual banners, a component of visual merchandising, affect consumer interaction behaviour during Tiktok live sessions. Visual merchandising aims to draw in, hold the attention of, and inspire consumers to watch, join sessions and interact. In this study, the visual merchandising elements studied were limited to visual banners which also included creative displays, designs and layouts. Moving forward, it is planned to include more elements. The methodology used in this study is a descriptive quantitative methodology, with the unit of analysis being the 4,400+ active followers or passive followers of the House of Rexx Tiktok account as of April 2023. Systematic random sampling with a sample size of 80 respondents was the method used to determine the number of samples. The approach makes use of methodical data collection methods based on the study objectives, including field and library research. Descriptive analysis is the analytical technique used to resolve issues and validate theories. The results demonstrate that, in live Tiktok sessions, prospective customers of Rexx lighting goods connect with each other to a considerable and positive extent when they see visual banners.
