Abstract

One of the health services that has a very important role in providing health services to the community is hospitals. The aim of this research is to find out the satisfaction of inpatients at the Graha Medika Kenari Bogor Mother and Child Hospital, which is a Type C Hospital. This research uses quantitative methods with a cross-sectional study approach (Cross Sectional Study). The population is all inpatients at Graha Medika Kenari Bogor Mother and Child Hospital. The sample was 250 people. The sampling procedure is to use accidental sampling technique. Data were analyzed using chi square analysis and logistic regression. The results show that responsiveness (p= 0.045), assurance (0.002), tangible (0.004), empathy (0.000), and reliability (0.011) have a relationship with inpatient satisfaction at the Graha Medika Kenari Bogor Mother and Child Hospital.

Abstract

Companies are founded to obtain maximum or maximum profits and to achieve their goals in the form of company value. In this way, a company can develop continuously and provide returns that benefit the company owner so that the company can prosper. This research aims to see the effect of liquidity (CR), leverage (DER), profitability (ROA) on company value in industrial companies in the coal production sector listed on the IDX in 2020-2023 in the company's financial reports. In this research, there are 26 companies that have been selected using purposive sampling criteria with samples from mining industry companies in the coal production sub-sector listed on the IDX consecutively for 4 years in 2020-2023, companies that use the rupiah as their currency in reporting. Financial year 2020 – 2023, companies that have complete financial reports consecutively from 2020-2023. So the sample obtained was 26 companies with 104 data studied. The data used is secondary data in the form of financial reports obtained from the site www.idx.co.id. The research design uses the causality method. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results of this research show that liquidity has a significant positive effect on company value. Leverage has a significant positive effect on company value. Profitability has a significant positive effect on company value. Future researchers will be able to add additional variables in the hope of making comprehensive findings that are also relevant to various situations for various business industries so that the coefficient values ​​are normal or not too low. The value of the company will be an important consideration for investors when investing in the company, because the value of the company lies in the activity of evaluating the development of the company itself.

Abstract

Oil or oil spill is one of the many Marine pollutants that can stem from errors in tanker activity or from the Mediterranean to drift downstream. An example of the case is the incidence of an oil spill in the region of the central bangka area that happened on the coast 12 miles away, where oil spills have contaminated the outlying areas and other seas like kobatin, and deep-sea arung coast. The purpose of the writer's article is to find out how the government's regulatory pattern of dealing with the impact that oil spill on the seas and beaches in the central bangka county has on oil, and the writer would also like to see a perspective on how oil spills are completed, in order to ensure that local life is as smooth as it was before the oil spill.

Abstract

This study legally analyzes the compensation payment system for workers with a fixed-term employment agreement (PKWT), especially in the case of security personnel. This study discusses the Legal Rules Concerning the Compensation Payment System for Termination of PKWT Workers by the User Company and the Legal Protection Given to Security Personnel as PKWT Workers. The research method used by the author uses a juridical-normative method which aims to analyze the legal loopholes and practices that occur in the implementation of the compensation system. The results of this study are that First, PKWT without a written agreement makes security personnel not get definite protection if the user company does not want to use them. Second, the work agreement between security personnel and the user company can be a basis for protecting the rights and obligations of workers.

Abstract

This study examines servant leadership's effect on organizational justice and commitment to change among civil servants (ASN) at the Bawaslu office of Padang City. The research employs a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to 52 respondents. The results show that servant leadership positively and significantly affects organizational justice, indicated by a p-value of less than 0.01. Organizational justice was also found to impact substantially commitment to change, as supported by statistical analysis. However, servant leadership does not have a significant direct influence on commitment to change. This study concludes that organizational justice is important in enhancing commitment to change, while servant leadership can strengthen perceptions of justice among organizational members. These findings provide practical implications for leaders to focus on applying justice principles in leadership processes to improve employee commitment to organizational change.

Abstract

The need for information has become increasingly important in society to meet various needs. With the advancement of technology, the Internet has transformed how people access information. Information can be easily accessed through the internet and social media platforms. Folkative is one of the popular Instagram accounts among the younger generation, serving as a digital source of up-to-date information. A distinctive feature of @folkative's content is its emphasis on text. Therefore, this study examines the influence of Instagram content from @folkative on fulfilling the information needs of Generation Z. The aim of this research is to determine the extent to which @folkative's Instagram content impacts the information needs of Generation Z. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research design. The sampling technique employed is purposive sampling, with a total of 400 respondents. Data analysis is conducted using simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing is performed through a T-test. The study is based on the Uses and Gratification theory, utilizing the model of media usage and effects. The results of this study indicate that @folkative's Instagram content influences the information needs of Generation Z by 60.3%, with the sub-variables of communication and context having the most significant impact. The remaining 39.7% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Work-life balance is crucial for employees as they navigate their dual roles as individuals and as employees. This study analyzes the impact of work-life balance on employee engagement, with job satisfaction serving as an intervening variable, at the Bureau of State Asset Management and Procurement of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Finance. Work-life balance is considered an essential factor for employees in accomplishing their tasks to achieve organizational goals, which can influence job satisfaction and employee commitment to the organization. The research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach through the distribution of questionnaires. This study utilizes descriptive methods, multiple linear regression analysis, and the Sobel test. The findings indicate that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction also has a positive and significant impact on employee engagement. It can be concluded that job satisfaction, as an intervening variable, strengthens the relationship between work-life balance and employee engagement.

Abstract

The world of work has undergone a significant transformation in recent years, driven by technological advancements and changing employee mindsets. Flexible Working Space (FWS) has emerged as a new work concept that offers flexibility in time and work location for employees. This concept has attracted the attention of many organizations because of its potential to improve employee productivity, performance, and job satisfaction. The author's purpose in this study is to find out the extent to which the impact of flexible working space (FWS) encourages a new cultural change in the implementation of the work system within the Ministry of Finance Organization, namely flexibility in the arrangement of work locations, which includes the implementation of official duties in the office (WFO) and/or the implementation of official duties by implementing a flexible working space (FWS) flexibility mechanism. This study uses qualitative methods to collect data from various sources, including surveys and interviews.

Abstract

Watching films is an essential part of human recreational needs that becomes increasingly pressing with age and changing requirements. With advancements in technology, watching films has become a primary necessity due to easy accessibility and the availability of streaming platforms. This study aims to explore the effects of work fatigue, work stress, and self-efficacy on employee performance in the film industry. The research population consists of film workers at PT. MD Pictures, with samples taken using purposive sampling methods. Data were analyzed using Path Analysis with the aid of JASP 19.0 software. The tests employed in this research include construct validity tests, path coefficient analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that self-efficacy significantly mediates the effect of work stress on the performance of film crews (t = 5.590, p < 0.001), but this does not hold for work fatigue (t = -0.120, p = 0.904). Work fatigue has a significant direct effect on performance (t = 2.733, p = 0.006), while its indirect effect through self-efficacy is not significant (t = -0.120, p = 0.904). Conversely, work stress does not have a significant direct effect on performance (t = 0.318, p = 0.751), but its indirect effect through self-efficacy is significant (t = 5.590, p < 0.001). Overall, the direct effect of work fatigue on performance is greater than its indirect effect, while for work stress, the indirect effect through self-efficacy is more significant than the direct effect. This research model shows that 88.7% of the variability in film crew performance can be explained by work fatigue, work stress, and self-efficacy, with an R² value of 0.887. Additionally, 40.3% of the variability in self-efficacy can be explained by work fatigue and work stress, as indicated by an R² value of 0.403. These findings suggest that improving self-efficacy can help mitigate the negative impact of work stress on the performance of film crews. However, in cases of work fatigue, direct intervention to address fatigue is more necessary than enhancing self-efficacy.

Abstract

Students still do not fully possess public speaking skills. This reluctance to appear in front of the public is due to low self-confidence and lack of mastery of public speaking techniques. The aim of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of speaking as an important communication skill and to identify learning strategies that can improve speaking skills in various real-life situations, including academically, professionally, and socially. However, many people have difficulty or are afraid of speaking in public, which makes them unable to communicate effectively. so you have to take communication training. The education team determined SD Negeri 1, 2, and 3 Karang Bloom as locations for public speaking training. Educational activities at SD 1, 2, and 3 Karang Bloom, will be held on 19-21 August 2024. Starting at 08.00-11.00 WIB, participants have gathered in their respective classes. Participants numbering approximately 25 students (coming from grades 4, 5 and 6) took part in the activities in an orderly manner and were accompanied by an educational team from Gunung Jati Swadaya University students. The first activity started with an ice breaker after which the material was provided.
