Abstract

This study aims to improve Interpersonal Communication through strengthening Personality, Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Culture, and Trust. The research population involved civil servant teachers of Group III in public elementary schools in South Tangerang City, with a sample of 155 people selected proportionally using the Yamane formula. This research method used a quantitative approach through a survey, and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). SITOREM analysis was also conducted to identify key variables in “Operation Research.” The results showed that Personality, Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Culture, and Trust have a significant positive influence on Interpersonal Communication. Their respective path coefficients show that Personality (βy = 0.591), Emotional Intelligence (βy2 = 0.352), Organizational Culture (βy3 = 0.134), and Trust (βy4 = 0.280) significantly influence Interpersonal Communication. In addition, Personality also has a significant effect on Trust (β41 = 0.432) and Emotional Intelligence has a significant effect on Trust (β42 = 0.492). However, Emotional Intelligence has no significant effect on Organizational Culture (β43 = 0.125), while Personality significantly affects Organizational Culture (βy2 = 0.689).

Abstract

The start-up company mobilmantan.id’s marketing communications strategy for bringing innovative products to market is the subject of this study. The company wants to effectively engage investors, and customers, and conduct market research by utilizing channels like crowdsourcing, pitching, networking, and social media. The research employs a literature review method with a qualitative approach to explore the complexities of innovation commercialization, which involves transforming innovations into marketable products through substantial financial investment and risk. Drawing from a comprehensive analysis of 194 articles across 62 journals, a framework outlining the innovation commercialization process has been developed, highlighting three main phases: discovery, development, and implementation. Analyzing the company's approach to marketing communications and its effect on the commercialization process were the initial methods. According to the findings, using digital channels and third-party collaborations significantly increased sales and customer engagement. Throughout the process, difficulties like establishing credibility, acquiring patents, and running out of funds were identified and addressed. The study concludes that during the commercialization process, effective marketing communications are crucial in increasing product awareness and sales. While impediments in example size and generalizability exist, the exploration offers important bits of knowledge for new businesses exploring the intricacies of development commercialization.

Abstract

The imposition of sentences below the minimum penalty specifically for small-scale drug dealers has become an important debate in the context of criminal justice. This study aims to analyze the practice of judicial independence in small-scale drug trafficking cases and identify the challenges and implications for substantive justice and drug eradication policy in Indonesia. The method used in this study is comparative normative juridical, this research analyses the applicable legal rules in Indonesia and compares them with practices in several other countries. The results show that the application of sentences below the special minimum threat has a significant influence on drug eradication policies, but also raises dilemmas related to justice for offenders with a small role. Comparatively, practices in other countries show a more flexible approach, which integrates restorative justice and rehabilitation principles. This study recommends the revision of legal policies in Indonesia by adopting a more proportional approach, as well as improved training of law enforcement officers to ensure fair and consistent application. This research is expected to contribute to the formation of a more effective, humane, and equitable drug policy.

Abstract

Constitution is the highest basic norm that regulates various aspects of a country's life, including the relationship between state institutions, government, and citizens. In Indonesia, the constitution is known as the 1945 Constitution, which before the amendment only limitedly regulated rights to land and natural resources through Article 33 Paragraph (3). After the amendment, these rights were regulated more firmly, including the recognition of the rights of indigenous peoples and the right to control the state. The regulation of abandoned land is also discussed in the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) and PP No. 20 of 2021, which expands the objects of regulation to abandoned land and abandoned areas. Abandoned land can be used as an asset of the Land Bank, an institution formed by the government to manage land optimally. However, the existence of the Land Bank raises concerns regarding legal uncertainty and inequality in land ownership, especially because its broad authority has the potential to ignore the rights of small and indigenous communities. Legal certainty and justice in land distribution must be guaranteed to prevent abuse of power, as well as to fulfill the goals of agrarian reform and community welfare. The method used in this research is a normative legal research method, which is applied to examine regulations related to the Land Bank. This research aims to achieve results that The Land Bank, regulated by PP No. 64 of 2021, aims to manage abandoned land for investment and agrarian reform (TORA), but its implementation risks agrarian inequality, legal uncertainty, and conflicts due to potential dominance by investor interests and deviations in the interpretation of the State's Right to Control (HMN). To achieve equitable, sustainable, and beneficial land use, regulations must be reformed to prioritize justice, transparency, and accountability, ensuring the Land Bank supports small farmers and the public interest in line with Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution and the UUPA.

Abstract

Business activities in the oil and gas sector certainly require high costs from upstream to downstream. From upstream to downstream of Indonesian oil and gas, the gap between production and consumption is getting wider, namely 616 thousand BOPD production and 1,471 MBOPD consumption and refinery capacity is still below the consumption figure, namely 1,151 million barrels per day. The need for high costs can be minimized by establishing a policy called the Petroleum Fund. This Petroleum Fund is taken from state revenues from the oil and gas sector for specific purposes to ensure the sustainability of oil and gas activities for future generations. Petroleum funds, especially in Indonesia, can be used for several important things such as investment capital on the upstream side to increase potential reserve status. On the downstream side, it can be used to increase refinery capacity so that fuel oil imports decrease. The fluctuating nature of oil prices is certainly a threat that must be overcome, this is anticipated by forming this policy so that fuel prices remain affordable for the public. Then efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions become an important thing that must be achieved by oil and gas companies as well as increasing human resource capacity in areas around the oil and gas industry.

Abstract

This study, titled "Strategic Leadership Approaches in Conflict Resolution in Papua," aims to explore how strategic leadership can contribute to resolving conflicts in Papua. The research focuses on two main areas: the impact of strategic leadership competencies on conflict resolution and the application of strategic leadership guidelines within organizational culture. First, the study examines the influence of strategic leadership competencies on the effectiveness of conflict resolution in Papua. These competencies include the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate strategies, as well as adapt to changing situations. The research evaluates how leaders with strong strategic competencies can facilitate dialogue, build consensus, and design sustainable solutions for long-standing conflicts. Second, the study assesses the application of strategic leadership guidelines within the context of organizational culture. Understanding the local culture and applying leadership principles that align with the organizational culture are central to this analysis. The research investigates how formal procedures and strategic control are used to manage and resolve conflicts effectively within organizations operating in Papua. The findings indicate that effective strategic leadership requires a deep understanding of the local context and skills in designing and implementing adaptive strategies. Integrating cultural values with leadership principles is crucial for building harmonious relationships and resolving conflicts. This research provides practical insights for leaders in designing more inclusive and responsive approaches to conflict resolution in Papua.
