Abstract

This research intends to find out if teaching students through the Error Analysis Concept (EAC), which covers omission, addition, mis-formation, and mis-ordering, improves their writing skills in any way. The study was conducted in two cycles using classroom action research as the research design. Planning, carrying out, observing, and reflecting were all included in each cycle. Twenty-six junior high school students in the second grade served as the study's subjects. Observation sheets and test writing were employed as data collection tools. The analysis of student writing improvements involved comparing scores between cycles. The outcome demonstrates that employing EAC improved the writing abilities of the students. This proves by comparing the score starting from pretest (56.56), cycle I (63.02) and Cycle II (68.52). As a result, the pre-research, cycle I, and cycle II mean scores for each type of error are 13.38, 7.54, and 5.50, respectively. It implies that students can reduce the amount of writing errors they make. In other words, that the students' writing skills have improved significantly. Furthermore, the process of teaching and learning is impacted by the application of the EAC. Since students' performance significantly improved and that incorporating the concept of error analysis into classroom activities had numerous advantages.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to be able to determine and analyze the legal protection arrangements for electronic sports players (E-Sports) that fall into the category of minors as it is known that children who are in their teens can not do much, therefore the employment agreement requires written permission of the parents. The author uses normative research methods, the nature of analytical prescriptive research. The results and discussion in this study concluded that legal protection for e-sports players with e-sports companies in principle work agreements have been preventively regulated in the law on sports, the Civil Code including special rules PBESI Regulation No. 034/PB-ESI/B/VI / 2021 as a form of regulation of E-sports legal protection in Indonesia. It's just that in terms of repressive legal protection through PBESI Regulation No. 034/PB-ESI/B/VI / 2021 regarding dispute resolution still contains weaknesses, as it is known that children before working ‘must obtain written permission from their parents and a work agreement is made with their parents’, while the regulation does not explain the involvement of parents in dispute resolution. Thus it is necessary to make changes to Article 43 paragraph (1) PBESI Regulation No. 034/PB-ESI/B/VI / 2021 on the implementation of E-sports activities in Indonesia.

Abstract

The diffusion of the Cash Basis International Public Sector Accounting Standard (IPSAS) in Less Developed Countries (LDCs) reflects the complexities and challenges inherent in global accounting reforms. The method from this research is Qualitative descriptive. As a result, the diffusion of the Cash Basis International Public Sector Accounting Standard (IPSAS) in Less Developed Countries (LDCs) represents a complex interplay of international standards and local realities. One of the central challenges is the discrepancy between the expectations set by international bodies and the practical realities faced by LDCs. The capacity constraints within LDCs further complicate the effective implementation of IPSAS. Resistance to change is another critical factor that impacts the diffusion of IPSAS. The role of international organizations and donor agencies is pivotal in supporting the adoption of IPSAS. The comparative experiences of countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka reveal both the potential benefits and the limitations of IPSAS adoption. The successful diffusion of IPSAS in LDCs requires a comprehensive strategy that addresses the technical, institutional, and cultural barriers to implementation.

Abstract

The Land Deed Official (PPAT) often finds themselves as the defendant in legal cases. One notable example is the decision from the Makassar District Court No. 126/Pdt.G/2019/PN Mks. The purpose of this research is to analyze the responsibilities of the Land Deed Official (PPAT) when the deed they have prepared is declared null and void by law. This study employs a normative legal research approach, utilizing both legislative and case study methods. The legal materials for this research consist of primary legal materials and secondary legal materials, which will be analyzed using systematic interpretation and grammatical interpretation techniques. The findings indicate that the PPAT, as a public official responsible for drafting the Sale and Purchase Deed in Decision No. 126/Pdt.G/2019/PN Mks, must be accountable for the deed they create from an administrative perspective. This deed was declared null and void due to the failure to meet the contractual elements; consequently, the PPAT faced only administrative sanctions based on the ruling.

Abstract

Economic program policies towards state-owned enterprises (BUMN) in economic growth in Indonesia have become commonplace in various countries. The main reason for implementing economic program policies is to improve and streamline the performance of BUMN so that it can achieve its founding targets, namely the provision of public services for the community and profits for the state. However, this policy is often rejected due to concerns that the role of the state is minimal and the role of the private sector is too dominant, which refers to a free market system so that the interests of society are not guaranteed. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive-analysis method using relevant secondary data and normative/literature assessment using a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The aim of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding of economic program policies by BUMN in Indonesia, both from a historical perspective and applicable positive law. The research object is BUMN (State-Owned Enterprises). This research concludes that the majority of listed BUMNs are able to improve business performance and profit generation. Economic programs are not the only solution for state company management, but they must always be able to reform and innovate in terms of future BUMN business strategies.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to test the usability of the audio archive metadata management application. This application is used to record all song collection data in the form of cassettes and vinyl and is also used to search for collection data easily and quickly. This research used System Usage Scale (SUS) method to test the application usability. The SUS Testing was carried out by distributing a questionnaire which consists of 10 statements to 30 respondents to determine the assessment scale based on percentile rank, grade, adjective rating, acceptability, and net promoter score. The result of the system usage scale testing showed an average total score of 83. By detail, this result explained that the percentile range assessment scale is between 90-95%, grade is A, adjective rating is in the Excellent category, acceptability is in the acceptable category, and net promoter is in the promoter category. Thus, it can be concluded that the audio archive metadata management application is suitable for use as a search and retrieval tool for song collections in the form of cassettes and vinyl. However, in order to increase the application’s usefulness, the application can be more developed in the future by adding additional features to meet the criteria as a better metadata management tool.
