Abstract

Linear growth failure or as ussually known as stunting is undernutrition problem globally. It is happen in childhood with physical and neurocognitive damage that accompanies stunted growth characterictic. Indonesia as developing country currently trying to solve this problem through government programs. The aims is to improve the quality of young generation. From the results of the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI), the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is 21.6% in 2022. This high percentage is also supported by poor access to health care in living rural areas. Kampung Sialang Baru also like that. Where it was recorded that this village had poor access to health care. Beside that, the village got the second ranked in most of stunting children in Lubuk Dalam district. There are 18 childs who were infected. This is the result of observations made by Kukerta team. They made socialization stunting program and provide information leaflets about MPASI. The socialization went slowly bring good impact. The participants gained knowledge about MPASI is on of the important thing to prevent stunting. Also, they have leaflets as source of detail information of MPASI menu that is suitable for children.

Abstract

Digital promotion and marketing is very effective for introducing a product or service. By utilizing popular digital media, it is hoped that a product or service can be widely known by the public, both locally, nationally and even internationally. Cidugaleun Village is a village in Cigalontang sub-district, Tasikmalaya Regency, which is located at the foot of Mount Galunggung at an altitude of around 900 meters above sea level and has cool air and beautiful views. The view is dominated by vegetable plants and pine forests providing a green and beautiful atmosphere. Combined with the abundance of water and several waterfalls, this village is worthy of being developed into a mainstay tourist destination in Tasikmalaya Regency. In this activity, training was carried out for the young generation of Cidugaleun village under the auspices of Karang Taruna Giri Mukti so they were able to manage website content, take photos and videos, edit photos and videos and publish photos and videos on various media platforms that are currently popular. By utilizing their cell phone devices, the young generation of Cidugaleun village is given training so they can use cell phones to promote Cidugaleun village.

Abstract

Schools are one of the many places where there are many problems of bullying or bullying. Sekolah Dasar Negeri 2 Guntur is one of the schools whose students are not spared from bullying cases. The period of State Elementary School (SDN) is the beginning for children to adapt to the surrounding environment, and during this State Elementary School period children still have a tendency to imitate things that happen around them. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and character building for participants who are students of SDN 2 Guntur and find a model of bullying prevention through character education and school roles. Character education is an important role in shaping children's morals. Through character education from an early age, it is hoped that it can produce a generation of good, competent, and dignified nations. The result of the activities that have been carried out is a change in awareness, knowledge and attitudes that show the prevention of bullying. Where previously there were still many students who did not know what bullying is. After being presented about bullying and how to prevent it, students became more careful not to bully.

Abstract

Minyak jelantah adalah minyak yang telah digunakan beberapa kali dalam proses pemanasan. Penggunaan minyak jelantah dalam waktu tertentu berdampak pada kesehatan akibat deposisi sel lemak yang terjadi di usus halus, pembuluh darah, jantung, dan hepar, apabila dibuang ke lingkungan akan menyebabkan pencemaran air tanah. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk melihat fenomena kepedulian masyarakat terhadap lingkungan dan dampak kesehatan jangka panjang sebagai implikasi dari pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah yang merupakan limbah anorganik rumah tangga. Sudah barang tentu setiap rumah tangga menghasilkan minyak jelantah karena penggunaan minyak goreng merupakan salah satu kebutuhan primer masyarakat. Dengan adanya perlakuan melalui pemanfaatan limbah minyak jelantah menjadi sabun, masyarakat memiliki peran penting terhadap pengendalian dari limbah tersebut. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukan antusias yang cukup baik dari peserta, dilihat dari evaluasi selama proses kegiatan yang mengalami kenaikan hingga 87% dari sekian pertanyaan yang diajukan selama evaluasi proses.

Abstract

The independent curriculum, which was expected to serve as a bridge following the slowdown in the learning process during Covid-19, has instead created new problems in its implementation. This is because the application of this curriculum lacked preparation from various parties. The History Teachers' Working Group (MGMP Sejarah) in Kudus District is one of the users encountering challenges in implementing the independent curriculum. The issues faced include: understanding the implementation of the independent curriculum and its application in teaching, especially in the development of teaching modules for Phase F in history education, which is still very limited. There is a lack of teachers' strategies in implementing the independent curriculum in schools, and a shortage of activities that support the skills and understanding of partners to implement the independent curriculum. To address these problems, the service team and partners agreed to conduct training and mentoring activities for the implementation of the independent curriculum, especially in developing Phase F teaching modules for history subjects in partner schools. The method used for this activity is training. Based on the conducted activities, it was found that participants' responses, as indicated by the survey, showed that the objectives of this service activity have been achieved. The evaluation results of the training activities, including participants' enthusiasm, level of participation, and understanding of the training materials, were very high. While the overall evaluation of the service activities also showed positive responses, there are still some areas that need improvement.

Abstract

This service was carried out in Rebegedung Village, Silih Nara District, Central Aceh Regency. Most of the livelihoods of the people of Rebegedung Village are farmers, so this service focuses on the economy. The aim of this service is to be able to provide and motivate us as students to learn and practice social awareness by being directly involved in the field. The benefit of this service is to develop a sense of professionalism within oneself with the program that one has so that the program is carried out precisely and accurately so that first analyzing the main program, additional and religious programs with careful planning regarding the methods and stages of implementation as well as evaluation of the main program so that it has positive value in the eyes of the community and train good, transparent and mutually inspiring cooperation and also train the ability to solve problems by adapting, interacting and socializing with the community. The methods used in this service are direct observation and interviews. The problem that occurs in Rebegedung Village is the lack of innovation regarding products produced from the agricultural products of the Rebegedung Village community. So the main program focuses on the economy and the innovative products that have been socialized are Naget Ikan Lele, Boncabe and Oil Chili. The main ingredients are from the agricultural products of the Rebegedung Village Community.

Abstract

Counseling on the use and manufacture of liquid organic fertilizers from local raw materials is a community service activity conducted by University lecturer Maj. Gen. Sungkono, especially at the Faculty of Agriculture in Tinggar Hamlet, Tinggarbuntut Village, Bangsal district, Mojokerto Regency. The goal is to improve pet owners ' understanding of organic pet food as a last resort to ensure that the relatively low prices and prevalence of fertilizer stocks in the village make pet owners the majority. The method used is an experimental method. As a result, workers are able to produce goods using local materials and maximize the amount of daily labor available so that they are eager to master new skills or knowledge, such as practical skills, in rice fields and village halls.

Abstract

Seiring bertambahnya usia setiap individu pasti akan mengalami perubahan fisik yang menyebabkan penurunan fungsi organ tubuh salah satunya dalam hal berkemih. Inkontinensia urin menjadi masalah kesehatan yang sering terjadi pada lansia. Inkontinensia urin merupakan kondisi yang dialami oleh tubuh dimana pengeluaran urin yang tidak terkendali atau tanpa disadari oleh pasien. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh disfungsi otot dasar panggul. Kegiatan penyuluhan fisioterapi tentang inkontinensia urin bertujuan untuk mengedukasi kepada lansia tentang pengetahuan dan pencegahan dini inkontinensia urin. Kegiatan penyuluhan dengan media poster kemudian pemberian pretest dan posttest. Hasil posttest menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman lansia mengenai inkontinensia urin.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian masyarakat di Pulohdadi, Depok Sleman, terfokus pada pemilik Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Warung Fortune dan Warung Ananda untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam pembukuan sederhana. Melalui metode tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, pelatihan dilakukan pada bulan Oktober dengan fokus praktis pada pembukuan, termasuk interaksi langsung dan simulasi transaksi keuangan. Evaluasi pasca-pelatihan menunjukkan pemilik UMKM mampu memahami dan menerapkan pembukuan sederhana dengan baik, tercermin dari pengisian catatan keuangan dengan teliti dan sesuai konsep dasar yang diajarkan. Keberhasilan ini menegaskan peran penting pengabdian masyarakat dalam memberdayakan UMKM untuk meningkatkan manajemen keuangan, dengan harapan peningkatan efisiensi dan daya saing usaha mereka. Kesimpulan ini menyoroti dampak positif pengembangan ekonomi lokal, khususnya di Pulohdadi, Depok Sleman. Kata Kunci: UMKM, Pembukuan Sederhana, Metode Tahap Persiapan, Pelaksanaan, dan Evaluasi Abstract Community service in Pulohdadi, Depok Sleman, focuses on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) owners of Warung Fortune and Warung Ananda to enhance their understanding and skills in simple bookkeeping. Through the method of preparation, implementation, and evaluation, the training was conducted in October with a practical focus on bookkeeping, including direct interaction and simulation of financial transactions. Post-training evaluation reveals that MSME owners are capable of understanding and implementing simple bookkeeping effectively, as reflected in meticulous and conceptually aligned financial record-keeping. This success underscores the crucial role of community service in empowering MSMEs to enhance financial management, with the expectation of improving efficiency and competitiveness in their businesses. This conclusion highlights the positive impact on local economic development, particularly in Pulohdadi, Depok Sleman. Abstract

Garbage is one of the problems faced by many cities around the world. Indonesia is one of the largest developing countries contributing to waste in the world. Indonesia is the second largest contributor of waste with a volume of 187.2 million tons / year, with China in first position with 262.9 million tons / year. In 2003, a doctor from Thailand named Dr. Rosukon Poompanvong received an award from FAO for the discovery of eco enzymes. This program is an enabler in the community of Alur Putih village in order to be able to utilize unused organic kitchen waste to be beneficial for the environment. This activity will be carried out on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Before starting the activity, the group KKNT went through several stages discussions about activity partners, learning material about eco enzyme in the Alur Putih village community, then after that we could empower the targets that had been set through through the results of group discussions.
