Abstract

This research aims to explore the classical guitar learning strategies applied by Jekson Pontomudis as part of his preparation for the National Student Art Competition Festival (FLS2N). The main focus of this research is to identify the challenges faced in the implementation of Jekson Pontomudis' classical guitar learning strategy in the context of FLS2N preparation. The research method used is qualitative with a musicology approach. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The results show that this learning strategy faces obstacles, such as the lack of teachers and trainers with classical guitar expertise, as well as limited learning facilities and infrastructure. In addition, the lack of curriculum compatibility with FLS2N demands and inadequate school conditions are problems. To overcome this, it is necessary to improve the qualifications of teaching staff, improve facilities and infrastructure, and evaluate and adjust the curriculum. This research provides insights into the constraints of classical guitar learning strategies in preparation for national competitions, such as FLS2N, and provides a basis for improving the effectiveness of similar learning in other schools.

Abstract

This study aims to answer two main problems. First, how do members of youth organizations in Taraitak Satu Village communicate through violations of the principles of linguistic politeness? Second, to what extent do young people in Taraitak Satu Village deviate from the principles of linguistic politeness in their social and professional interactions? This study uses a qualitative approach with free listening and listening (SBLC) as the main method of data collection, supported by note-taking as a secondary method. Data analysis refers to the referential approach based on the SPEAKING component of speech. The results revealed that youth in Taraitak Satu Village often use impolite language with intentions such as correcting, inciting, demeaning, mocking, ignoring, expelling, forcing, belittling, rejecting, and depriving others of their rights. These violations of language politeness norms include various aspects, such as tact, generosity, acceptance, humility, compatibility, and sympathy. The negative impact of these violations of linguistic politeness principles is not only felt by the youth individually, but also by their youth association groups. When words are delivered in a way that hurts the feelings of others, this can lead to controversy, hostility, dampen enthusiasm for group activities, and cause discord. This research is expected to contribute to efforts to preserve the Tontemboan language in the Makela'i dialect and provide a basis for strengthening the community to adhere to the principles of language politeness. Thus, this research is an important step to maintain the sustainability and quality of local languages in Taraitak Satu Village.

Abstract

This study aims at analyzing the philosophical values of stoicism and Ikigai shown in the One Piece anime. This study focuses its analysis on the character development of the characters in the One Piece anime, specifically on the characters of Monkey D. Luffy and Rorona Zoro. This study is a qualitative descriptive study in which the data collection is carried out through note taking. Note taking in this study is the process in which the researchers watch the anime One Piece several times and take notes on the dialogues and action showing the philosophical values of stoicism and Ikigai. The obtained data are then analyzed by using the content analysis technique. The results show that the values of stoicism give characters peace of mind in the midst of difficult situations and the ability to accept fate. Characters with these values tend to have perseverance, integrity, and a strong moral attitude. Meanwhile, Ikigai values are reflected on the passion for life, satisfaction in making contributions, and the search for a balance between values and skills. These characters tend to have a strong sense of purpose, empathy, and a desire to help others. The values of Stoicism Philosophy and Ikigai Philosophy have an important role in the formation of fictional characters. These two values provide depth, complexity, and strong motivation to characters. The combination of these values creates characters who can face challenges with peace of mind, live according to moral principles, pursue their passions, make contributions, and integrate values with their skills.
