Abstract

Teacher Communication Strategy in PAI Learning in Gunung Besar Village, Central Abung District, North Lampung 1. Communication is one of the daily activities that is truly connected to all human life, as well as in Islamic Religious Education learning requires strategies so that learning is achieved and communication requires appropriate strategies so that learning is achieved and this research is to describe PAI teachers' strategies in learning at the elementary school in Gunung Besa village, Abung Tengah sub-district, North Lampung. The objectives of this research are 1) Describe the communication strategies of PAI teachers in PAI learning in Gunung Besar Village, Abung Tengah District, North Lampung 2) Describe the various communication strategies applied by PAI teachers in learning in Gunung Besar Village, Abung Tengah District, North Lampung 3) Describe analysis of teacher communication strategies in PAI learning in Gunung Besar village, Abung Tengah sub-district, North Lampung. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Data collection uses interviews, observation, documentation and tests, while data analysis applies descriptive qualitative. This research produces the following conclusions. First, the process of introducing communication strategies shows two things: 1) verbal communication strategies which include strategies for giving messages and advice, guiding strategies 2) non-verbal communication strategies strategies for persuading or inviting.

Abstract

Human life is getting easier with new discoveries, both in the fields of science and technology. One of the advantages of this progress is that individuals get information easily and quickly, but in fact this actually increases life competition even harder. This problem can be solved by implementing social education according to Al-Qur'an and Al-Sunnah. The aim of this research is to compare and relate the concept of social education in Islam from the perspective of Ahmad Rajab Al-Asmarī and Muḥammad Al-Syādzilī. This research is library research in the form of descriptive analysis. The data is collected by using primary sources, namely the Al-Nabī Almurabbī Book and the Usus Al-Tarbiyah Al-Ijtimāiyah fī Al-Islām Book, while secondary sources are obtained through books, journals, or others that discuss research problems. Al-Asmarī emphasized the importance of the example of Prophet Muhammad as the basis for social education, while Al-Syādzilī emphasized the importance of Islamic social principles implemented through formal educational institutions and public policies. According to Al-Asmarī, social education focuses on the formation of morals and manners with the aim of forming individuals with noble character in accordance with the example of Prophet Muhammad. Meanwhile, according to Al-Syādzilī, the social education process can be used to form a just society by applying Islamic principles in all aspects of social, political and economic life. Regarding developments over time, Al-Asmarī still adheres to a traditional approach which is based on implementing established values without much modification. However, Al-Syādzilī emphasized the importance of adapting to social changes and modern challenges

Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of using Filmora in Project Based Learning (PjBL) to enhance student performance in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). The expectation is that integrating Filmora into the PjBL approach will boost student engagement and improve learning outcomes through the creation of engaging video content and project-based activities. Employing a quantitative experimental design, this study involved two student groups: an experimental group utilizing the Filmora-based PjBL method and a control group following traditional methods. Data collection included assessments of learning outcomes and observations of student activities. Analysis revealed that students in the Filmora-based PjBL group demonstrated a significant improvement in understanding PAI content compared to the control group. The results suggest that incorporating Filmora into the PjBL framework is an effective strategy for enhancing learning quality and outcomes in PAI. This research advocates for the integration of technology into teaching methods to enrich the learning experience and boost student skills.

Abstract

During the holy month of Ramadan, Indonesia experiences various unique cultural phenomena, one of which is the popular activity known as ngabuburit, or spending the late afternoon hours before breaking the fast. Common ngabuburit activities include reciting the Quran (tadarus) and hunting for takjil (light meals for breaking the fast). The tradition of sharing takjil has gained widespread attention across communities, symbolizing a spirit of generosity and sensitivity to social conditions, values that are deeply embedded in Islamic teachings. This study uses a qualitative research approach, integrating field data and literature review, to examine the social, economic, cultural, and educational impacts of takjil distribution during Ramadan. The research specifically considers the tradition's basis in hadith (Prophet Muhammad’s teachings) and its practical significance in Indonesian society. The findings highlight multiple benefits: economically, it supports local vendors and fosters financial circulation; socially, it enhances solidarity and strengthens community bonds; culturally, it preserves an important tradition; and educationally, it models charity and social responsibility for younger generations. Moreover, this practice fosters spiritual growth, as it is believed to increase faith, earn divine love from Allah and His Messenger, promote ukhuwah (brotherhood), purify intentions, and encourage mutual support and tolerance. By connecting religious values with social practices, the tradition of sharing takjil reinforces Indonesia’s collective identity and exemplifies the community's commitment to Islam’s principles of compassion and unity.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the enhancement of digital literacy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at Al-Ulum Integrated Islamic High School in Medan. (a) Digital literacy has become an essential skill in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, where the ability to use, access, and evaluate information from digital sources is crucial for students' success. In the context of PAI, digital literacy not only aids students in better understanding religious values but also protects them from inaccurate information. The Merdeka Curriculum, recently introduced in Indonesia, encourages the integration of technology in education, providing flexibility for teachers and students to utilize digital tools to improve the quality of learning. (b) This study employs a qualitative research approach, involving interviews and observations conducted at Al-Ulum Integrated Islamic High School in Medan from September 30 to October 30, 2024. (c) The research findings indicate that the enhancement of digital literacy at the school positively impacts the PAI learning process. Digital technology facilitates access to more varied learning resources, resulting in a more interactive discussion and evaluation of religious materials. Achievements include the use of digital platforms such as Google Classroom, Al-Quran IPTEK, and digital libraries, which support students in accessing and critically understanding information. However, challenges persist, such as the need for teacher training and limited technological infrastructure at the school. (d) The study concludes that digital literacy has significant potential to enhance the effectiveness of PAI learning and support the development of students' character in alignment with Islamic values. Implementing suitable strategies, such as teacher training and technology-based program development, can help schools increase learning effectiveness and prepare students to face challenges in the digital era.

it because this science studies about sharia, siyasah, mamalah, ubudiyah, akhwal syaksiyah. Moreover, in matters of worship such as prayer, teachers should be able to correlate this with science. So that students can understand it completely by using their reason and faith in learning something. In the implementation of learning in the classroom, it was found that the value of the learning outcomes of Fiqh in class III decreased. Therefore, the teacher used a snowball throwing model of learning integrated with science to improve the learning outcomes of Fiqh in class III MI Hidayatullah, Blitar City. This study uses a quantitative method with descriptive data analysis and the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study were that 22 students out of 25 students in class III experienced an increase in their scores on the post-test. While the other 3 students still got the same score during the post-test. The average result of the fiqh score before being given treatment with the science-integrated snowball throwing method was 58.40 while the average score after being given treatment was 84.20. In the average section, the increase in the score was 11.50 and the number of positive rankings (Sum Ranks) was 253.00.

Abstract

Understanding human character in Islam plays an important role in supporting the success of Islamic education. This education is realized through a deep understanding of the concept of learners, the duties of educators, the formulation of objectives, and a curriculum that is in accordance with Islamic values. In addition, the use of appropriate learning methods at each stage of student development, both physically and spiritually, as well as the implementation of evaluations that are oriented towards the development of human potential are also important aspects. All of these efforts aim to always remind humans that Allah is the ultimate goal of life. This study aims to examine human character from the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy. With a library research approach, this study analyzes various thoughts of Muslim philosophers, both classical and contemporary, regarding human character. The results of the study show that in Islam, human character has complex dimensions, including physical, spiritual, social, and intellectual aspects. Human character is not only seen as an individual entity, but also as a social being who is responsible for the environment and society. The implication of this study is the importance of Islamic education in developing all human potential as a caliph (leader) on earth. Islamic education does not only aim to create knowledgeable individuals, but also to shape human character that is able to carry out its role and responsibilities in the world, in accordance with divine values ​​that will bring them back to Allah as the ultimate goal.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are the most important resource in terms of religious education in Indonesia so that they have the potential to develop society. However, the reality often shows a different reality, although within the scope of Islamic boarding schools, where activities are more directed towards positive things, it cannot be denied that students can also be involved in delinquent activities in Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to implement the hadith nahi munkar in the book of hadith Arba'īn in an effort to prevent delinquency of students at the Saifullah An-Nahdliyah Islamic boarding school. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method to explain and describe the object of study. The researcher used interview, observation, and documentation procedures to collect data in this study. The results of this study indicate that delinquency in the Saifullah An-Nahdliyah Islamic boarding school can be applied into three parts, namely mild delinquency; moderate delinquency; and severe delinquency. Furthermore, the hadith nahi munkar in the hadith book Arba'īn Nawawi when implemented in the Saifullah An-Nahdliyah Islamic boarding school environment in an effort to prevent students from getting acquainted with each other has a good impact on the boarding school. First, preventing by hand, the boarding school can make strict rules and policies through written rules. Second, preventing verbally, teachers and caregivers at the boarding school must provide a deep understanding to the students regarding the importance of avoiding evil. Third, preventing by heart, when the students see evil, they simply admit in their hearts that the act is an act that is prohibited in the boarding school environment. In these ways, students can maintain their faith and piety even though they cannot directly change the evil that exists around them.

Abstract

This paper has an important purpose to be expressed focusing on three targets. First, to find out the teacher's skills in formulating HOTS-based questioning skills (QS). Second, to see the learning output using HOTS-based (QS). Third, to find out the obstacles faced by teachers in HOTS-based (QS). The three formulations are seen PKn learning at MIS Madinatussalam. In order to get maximum results, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Then, the validity of the data was tested through triangulation. The results of the study showed that first, in formulating HOTS-based (QS), Civics teachers have five steps. Starting from understanding the learning objectives, based on Bloom's taxonomy, the context of students' lives, utilizing group discussions, and constructive feedback. Second, the output of QS learning can be found five advantages, namely critical and analytical thinking skills, the ability to argue and express opinions appropriately, the ability to evaluate problems, the ability to be creative in solving citizenship problems, and improving character towards citizenship. Third, the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing HOTS-based QS are limited time, limited teacher mastery, diverse student characteristics, limited resources and facilities, and challenges in creating a discussion atmosphere. The findings of this study have significance in the skills of a teacher in learning, who must master the complexity of competencies in learning. especially in making a question. The target is to achieve learning objectives according to the demands of KKM and of course accommodate the complexity of student potential

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of extracurricular activities at SMP Ar-Rahman Percut as a means of preserving local wisdom. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach to explore extracurricular activities at the school, especially in preserving local wisdom and its impact on students. The results showed that traditional dance extracurricular activities at SMP Ar-Rahman Percut are one of the effective media in preserving local wisdom. The traditional dances taught, such as Sekapur Sirih Dance, Surdu-Surdu Burangir Dance, and Mejuah-Juah Dance, have noble values ​​that include spiritual, moral, and social aspects. The implementation of this activity involves the transfer of values ​​from dance teachers to students through movement learning and explaining the philosophy behind the dance. Students who participate in this activity understand and internalize local wisdom values, such as togetherness, manners, and gratitude. In addition, they also show a love for local culture that is embedded in them, encouraging the spirit to continue preserving local wisdom in their environment. This study proves that traditional dance extracurricular activities not only develop students' artistic talents, but also shape character and strengthen cultural identity. Therefore, this activity can be a relevant learning model for other schools in an effort to preserve local cultural heritage. Full support from the school, teachers, and parents is the key to the success of implementing this program.
