Abstract

The arrival of an ethnic group in a new area is part of an activity that always occurs at all times. The Chinese ethnicity is one of the foreign ethnicities which is quite easy to find in the Banjarmasin area. Basically, Banjarmasin is part of the Malay and Dayak families. So the arrival of foreign ethnic groups such as the Chinese ethnic in this city is a very interesting topic to discuss. This study aims to trace the initial process of the arrival of the ethnic Chinese and the attraction that made the ethnic group anchor their shipping destinations to this city of a Thousand Rivers. The method used in this study is the historical method which consists of heuristics (source gathering), criticism, interpretation and historiography. Heuristics was carried out by collecting sources or data obtained from interviews with several ethnic Chinese who lived in Banjarmasin and through several written documents regarding the topic of this research. Then proceed with the stage of criticism of sources internally and externally. After going through the criticism stage, an interpretation (interpretation) is carried out in order to process the information from the sources that have been obtained. The final stage is to write (historiography). The research results obtained were that the arrival of ethnic Chinese in Banjarmasin began with shipping and trade activities in the coastal areas of Banjarmasin. The arrival of traders from the Bamboo Curtain country began to develop into a colony which was formed into a village. Banjarmasin itself has an attraction for migrants, namely the wealth of natural resources and the bustling trading port in the coastal area of Banjarmasin Time Formerly. The ethnic Chinese reside and can still be traced to this day and are able to blend in well with the people around them.

Abstract

History learning in the 21st century emphasizes the importance of students having the knowledge and skills that lead to the creation of a smart and competent generation. Presenting history learning that is able to make students the center of learning, actively involved and having skills is a big responsibility for teachers. History teachers must be able to provide variations of learning in the classroom in order to explore students' knowledge and skills to achieve learning objectives. The project-based history learning model is one of the learning strategies that can be chosen by the teacher. Through this learning model, students can act actively and creatively in producing learning products. So the purpose of this research is to analyze the teacher's contribution in applying students' collaboration and creativity skills in project-based history learning. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Banjarmasin. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews with history teachers and students of XI IPS 1 MAN 1 Banjarmasin. The results of this study are the use of project-based history learning models can encourage students to have the skills to work together in teams and think creatively in order to produce a product. The teacher's contribution is very important in the implementation of project-based history learning, namely the teacher is involved as a facilitator, mentor, director and assessor. The success of teachers in applying this history learning model can also be seen from the achievement of several indicators of collaboration skills and creativity that students have when working on a given project.

Abstract

Less effective learning during the Covid-19 pandemic also affects student learning outcomes. So with the limited direct learning policy, it provides the opportunity for all parties to make maximum use of direct learning to improve student learning outcomes, one of which is through the sosiodrama method. This study aims to determine the effect of the sosiodrama method on student learning outcomes in history learning during the limited direct learning period. This research is a quasi experimental research with a non-equivalent group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques through observation, field notes, questionnaires, and documentation in the form of student learning outcomes. The population in this study is Class XI SMAN 4 Bandung with research samples Class XI IPS 1 as the experimental class and Class XI IPS 3 as the control class. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year when limited direct learning was implemented. Data analysis used normality test, gain test, and descriptive data analysis. Based on the results of the analysis that there is an effect of the sosiodrama method on student learning outcomes in history learning during the limited direct learning period. The effectiveness is influenced by the learning method applied by the teacher is fun but still trains the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects of students.

Abstract

Utilization of historical learning resources that are close to the surrounding environment can help teachers explore the material being taught to students to be more real. Often considered monotonous with the lecture method, learning history can now be explored more deeply with direct learning activities outside of school. Archaeological remains such as the site of the Agung Amuntai Temple is one of the relics of the Hindu kingdom in the city of Amuntai, South Kalimantan. Its existence can be used by teachers as a source of learning history for students at MAN 2 Hulu Sungai Utara. The research method used is descriptive qualitative which takes pictures of student learning activities at MAN 2 Hulu Sungai Utara which utilizes the Agung Temple site as a source of learning history. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation during the implementation of learning in class X MIA 4, data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity technique uses technique and source triangulation. Utilization of the Agung Amuntai Temple site as a source of learning history provides real experience to students in learning history and can hone sensitivity to the surrounding environment. so, it can be directed to love, maintain and care for historical heritage objects that are around because of the requirements for the noble cultural values of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

As a result of the Covid-19 epidemic in Indonesia, all activities are now carried out from home, which means that in the field of education, all teachers must design teaching media that students can use from home. The goal of this research is to describe how Google Classroom is being used in historical learning to combat the spread of Covid-19 in schools. This is a qualitative study using descriptive methods with primary and secondary data as data sources. Interview, observation, and documentation procedures are used in data collection. Google Classroom is an interactive learning media based on e-learning that makes it easier for teachers and students to complete the teaching and learning process at home to assist learning based on information and communication technology. Google Classroom is currently incredibly effective and efficient, and it is not constrained by space or time. Teachers can provide students with materials in the form of text, images, audio, and video via the internet. Additionally, teachers can use a link from a Google Form filed in Google Classroom to create a list of students present.

Abstract

This paper explanation the dynamics of life Samin community in Kudus Central Java. Data collected by observation, interview, and references was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive. Result, Samin is Javanese ethnic community the originally driven by Ki Samin Surosentiko against invaders in Blora, Central Java. Its existence extends to city Kudus until now. Samin in Kudus face the dynamics of life the result (1) Saminisme the teachings passed down by oral history and nobody’s controlling, (2) life style following dynamics in this era. The impact change a down quality and quantity.

Abstract

Electronic school books are one of the widely used learning media, but naturally, they look more attractive with audio, video, and image features that make it easier for students to understand the material presented so that student learning outcomes can increase. So that this researcher has a goal to (1) see the results of using a digital multimedia flipbook in improving student learning outcomes in class XI history subjects (2) to find out student responses to the use of flipbooks as a learning medium applied to subjects history. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research design (quasi-experimental), to determine the increase in student learning outcomes using t-test analysis techniques by comparing students pretest learning outcomes with post-test, using two classes, namely experimental class and control class. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the learning outcomes ofstudents’ learning outcomessults of the pretest and post-test, the average result of the pretest score is 60.31 and the average result of the control class score is 60.14. After carrying out a treatment in the experimental class that uses flipbook in learning, the average post-test score is 81.65 and for the control class that does learning without giving treatment, it shows an average score of 61.58. Based on the results of the post-test using the t-test, a significant value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 < 0.05, it means that Ha isaccepted and it means that there is a difference between the use of multimedia flipbook in learning with learning without a multimedia flipbook

Abstract

Vandalism in the form of wall scribbles with the intention of leaving a mark at a tourist spot is a bad habit that visitors often engage in. The aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of fake graves in stopping acts of vandalism by visitors at Benteng Pendem. The research method used is a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative data was collected through snowball sampling, and quantitative data was collected through a survey using a questionnaire. The most common act of vandalism by visitors at Benteng Pendem is wall scribbles and graffiti. The frequency of such vandalism has decreased since the installation of revered fake graves. There is a correlation between respondents' belief in the sanctity of the fake graves and their reduced willingness to engage in acts of vandalism, with a reduction rate of 37.4% and an impact rate of 12% in controlling acts of wall scribbles at Benteng Pendem.

Abstract

Various cases of violence, harassment, abuse and other criminal cases are happening and are in the spotlight today. This happens because of the lack of attitude, moral and religious character education or character education. Seeing this situation, the existence of an Integrated Islamic School is one of the answers in guiding, educating and improving the character of children from an early age. This study aims to describe the role of IT Private SD Petak Batuah in the formation of attitudes, morals and morals of the younger generation. This study uses qualitative research methods that use data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative analysis which includes the stages of reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the existence of the IT Petak Batuah Private Elementary School has played a role in shaping the attitudes, morals and morals of its students, where educational activities in schools are not only to educate children intellectually, but also to shape the personality and character of students as a whole, described in several ways. as follows: 1) The implementation of school education combines general education with Islamic education, seen in educational activities that are in the packaging of Islamic teachings and values. 2) There are religious activities designed to shape the character of students which include routine habituation activities every day as well as activities on certain days which include; dhuha prayer in congregation, additional hours, yasin tahlil, and watching together one day. 3) schools shape the personality of students through the example that educators do in their various activities, becoming real examples in various words and actions that are seen by students.

Abstract

Samarinda Weaving Village is a village that has been around for a long time in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan. This village is located in Samarinda Seberang which is densely populated and the majority are woven cloth craftsmen. In this research, it starts from how the use of weaving villages as a source of history learning in Samarinda City and what things can be used related to this learning resource in schools. Apart from that, this research will also discuss how to utilize Weaving Village as a Source of Learning History in accordance with the independent curriculum policy. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection in the form of interviews with data collection techniques, data presentation, data reduction and verification as well as conclusions. In this research, we will find out how the role of the teacher will play in utilizing historical learning resources in Samarinda City. In addition, how is the application of the independent learning curriculum in preparing students who are active and creative and able to hone students' thinking skills. Thus, the purpose of the independent curriculum and how it is implemented in learning history and the use of weaving villages will be answered in this study. In addition, we can also see the activeness of students in learning history by utilizing learning resources in accordance with the independent curriculum.
