Abstract

This study aimed to improve Arabic learning outcomes for Grade VIII students at MTsN 2 Wonosobo by applying the Everyone Is a Teacher Here method during the 2024/2025 academic year. Using a quantitative experimental design with 56 students divided equally into an experimental group and a control group, the study compared the effectiveness of this method against conventional teaching. Both groups took a pretest before instruction and a posttest afterward. The experimental class engaged in active learning by writing questions related to the material, which enhanced participation. Analysis of the data showed a moderate improvement in learning outcomes for the experimental group with an N-Gain score of 0.61, compared to 0.35 in the control group. Statistical testing confirmed a significant difference between the two groups, demonstrating that the Everyone Is a Teacher Here method effectively increased students’ Arabic learning outcomes more than traditional methods.

Abstract

Arabic is a must-learn for Muslims. Learning Arabic requires a learning model. The learning model has a determinant of the success of teaching and learning activities. One of them is the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) type cooperative learning model. Most students feel that learning Arabic seems boring because they are always faced with memorization. So with this learning model at MTs Ma’arif Tieng Wonosobo, it is hoped that it can be an alternative in learning Arabic at the tsanawiyah madrasah. Arabic language learning at MTs Ma’arif Tieng Wonosobo with a total of 34 students, 14 students became the control class and 14 students became the experimental class. Data analysis used the N-Gain test analysis technique and the T-test test with the analysis results in the N-Gain test of the control class of 0.292 and the experimental class of 0.669, thus the experimental class was higher than the control class. And for the results of the T-test because ,t-calculate. > ,t -table. = 13.809 > 2.738 with α = 0.01 and ,t -count. > ,t -table. = 13,809 > 2,036 with α = 0.05 The result is that there is a difference in students' Arabic learning outcomes which shows that this learning model is more effective than the learning model using the conventional model.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) examine the implementation of product-based differentiated instructional modules in improving Arabic learning outcomes; (2) identify the improvement in students’ Arabic learning after using the product-based differentiated modules; and (3) test the effectiveness of these modules in enhancing Arabic learning outcomes. Using a quantitative experimental design, the study involved two classes: an experimental class and a control class. Both classes were given a pretest before instruction. The experimental class received instruction using the product-based differentiated module, while the control class was taught through conventional methods. Posttests were administered to both classes, and data were analyzed using t-tests and N-gain scores to evaluate learning improvement and module effectiveness. Results showed that the product-based differentiated module increased student engagement, interest, and motivation by incorporating varied activities such as discussions, presentations, and dialogue practice tailored to students’ learning styles and interests. Furthermore, students’ learning outcomes significantly improved in the experimental class, with an N-gain of 0.751 (high category) and an average score increase from 70.83 to 92.73, compared to the control class’s increase from 57.13 to 67.87. Thus, the product-based differentiated instructional module is effective in enhancing Arabic learning outcomes.

The strategies of Islamic religious education teachers towards developing students' self-confidence include six strategies, namely humanistic learning strategies, participatory learning strategies (Active Learning), experience-based learning strategies (Experiential Learning), motivation and appreciation-based learning strategies, integrative strategies with digital media, and self-actualization activities as part of the strategy. The success factors of Islamic religious education teacher strategies in developing students' self-confidence are teacher consistency in implementing strategies, periodic strategy evaluations, cooperation between Islamic religious education teachers, homeroom teachers, and BK teachers, support from the school, and the availability of space for self-actualization through religious activities.

Abstract

Community service activities aim to provide assistance in optimizing the School Health Efforts (UKS) to create healthy students. Schools can realize this by activating the school health business program which aims to improve optimal health so that it can maximize the potential and achievements of children in learning. The purpose of this community service is assistance to optimize UKS. The method of implementing community service activities in facilitating the optimization of UKS is through observing conditions and inventorying the needs for space and facilities for UKS and identifying the implementation of the UKS Trias. The instrument for measuring results uses a questionnaire. The results of the activity showed that the existing UKS room was not permanent and was still one with the school principal's room. The medical equipment at the UKS only consists of simple beds and first aid kits. The implementation of the UKS Triassic found that the implementation of health education and counseling in schools was included in the poor category; the implementation of health services is included in the less category; and the implementation of a healthy school environment is included in the less category so the solutions provided are assistance in procuring UKS space and equipment and socialization of the UKS Triassic. UKS activities are important for school health efforts, so monitoring and evaluation need to be carried out on an ongoing basis.
